The authors study the existence and long-time behavior of weak solutions to the bipolar transient quantum drift-diffusion model,a fourth order parabolic system.Using semi-discretization in time and entropy estimate,the authors get the global existence of nonnegative weak solutions to the one-dimensional model with nonnegative initial and homogenous Neumann(or periodic)boundary conditions.Furthermore,by a logarithmic Sobolev inequality,it is proved that the periodic weak solution exponentially approaches its mean value as time increases to infinity.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a doubly degenerate parabolic equation with logistic periodic sources. We are interested in the discussion of the asymptotic behavior of solutions of the initial-boundary value problem. In this paper, we first establish the existence of non-trivial nonnegative periodic solutions by a monotonicity method. Then by using the Moser iterative method, we obtain an a priori upper bound of the nonnegative periodic solutions, by means of which we show the existence of the maximum periodic solution and asymptotic bounds of the nonnegative solutions of the initial-boundary value problem. We also prove that the support of the non-trivial nonnegative periodic solution is independent of time.  相似文献

A fourth order parabolic system, the bipolar quantum drift-diffusion model in semiconductor simulation, with physically motivated Dirichlet-Neumann boundary condition is studied in this paper. By semidiscretization in time and compactness argument, the global existence and semiclassical limit are obtained, in which semiclassieal limit describes the relation between quantum and classical drift-diffusion models, Furthermore, in the case of constant doping, we prove the weak solution exponentially approaches its constant steady state as time increases to infinity.  相似文献

In this paper, the author studies the existence of the minimal nonnegative solutions of some elliptic variational inequalities in Orlicz-Sobolev spaces on bounded or unbounded domains. She gets some comparison results between different solutions as tools to pass to the limit in the problems and to show the existence of the minimal solutions of the variational inequalities on bounded domains or unbounded domains. In both cases,coercive and noncoercive operators are handled. The sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of the minimal nonnegative solution of the noncoercive variational inequality on bounded domains are established.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence and attractivity of time periodic solutions for one‐dimensional Nicholson's blowflies model with nonlinear diffusion. By constructing some suitable Lyapunov functionals and combining with Leray–Schauder fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of nonnegative time periodic solutions. We investigate the Cauchy problem for the Vlasov–Poisson system with radiation damping.By virtue of energy estimate and a refined velocity average lemma, we establish the global existence of nonnegative weak solution and asymptotic behavior under the condition that initial data have finite mass and energy. Furthermore, by building a Gronwall inequality about the distance between the Lagrangian flows associated to the weak solutions, we can prove the uniqueness of weak solution when the initial data have a higher order velocity moment.  相似文献

The equations are supplemented with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. It is shown that the semiclassical limit of this solution solves the classical drift-diffusion model. We study the global existence of weak solutions to a reduced gravity two-and-a-half layer model appearing in oceanic fluid dynamics in two-dimensional torus. Based on Faedo–Galerkin method and weak convergence method, we construct the global weak solutions which are renormalized in velocity variable, where the technique of renormalized solutions was introduced by Lacroix-Violet and Vasseur (2018). Besides, we prove that the renormalized solutions are weak solutions, which satisfy the basic energy inequality and Bresch–Desjardins entropy inequality, but not the Mellet–Vasseur type inequality. In the proof, we use the reduced gravity two-and-a-half layer model with drag forces and capillary term as approximate system. It should be pointed out that only when the capillary term vanishes, we prove the existence of renormalized solution to the approximation system, which is different from Lacroix-Violet and Vasseur (2018) with the quantum potential.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the global existence of weak solutions for a two‐component μ‐Camassa–Holm system in the periodic setting. Global existence for strong solutions to the system with smooth approximate initial value is derived. In this paper we consider a mathematical model describing a dynamic linear elastic contact problem with nonmonotone skin effects. The subdifferential multivalued and multidimensional reaction–displacement law is employed. We treat an evolution hemivariational inequality of hyperbolic type which is a weak formulation of this mechanical problem. We establish a result on the existence of solutions to the Cauchy problem for the hemivariational inequality. This result is a consequence of an existence theorem for second order evolution inclusion. For the latter, using the parabolic regularization method, we obtain the solution as a limit when the viscosity term tends to zero.  相似文献
