This paper uses the numerical simulation LS-DYNA, to simulate the process of the projectile with high rotating speed and different penetration angles penetrating into the moving vehicular door. Because of the moving of the vehicular door, the projectile will turn, and the ballistic trajectory will migrate. At the same time, the projectile will deflect from the vehicular door because of the projectile’s penetration angles. In the process of the penetration, the projectile’s moving speed is 300 m/s; rotating speed is 0 and 6370 r/s. The vehicular door’s moving speed is 80 m/s. The penetration angle is 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°. The projectile is the semi-sphere nose projectile whose diameter is 7.62 mm; the vehicular door’s thickness is 2 mm. The material model is the JOHN-COOK material model that can characterize strain, strain rate hardening and thermal softening effects. Through comparing with the results by simulation to study the effects of the projectile’s final velocity, the angle of rotation, the ballistic trajectory’s migration and the projectile’s deflection with different projectile’s rotating speeds and penetration angles.  相似文献

提出了一种利用LS-DYNA程序计算弹头翻转角度曲线的方法。在侵彻过程中,弹头的速度为300 m/s,转速分别为0、3 600和6 370 r/s;金属薄板的速度分别为0、40和80 m/s。其中,弹头直径为7.62 mm,圆形金属薄板的直径为80 mm,厚度为2 mm。材料模型选择了考虑应变、应变率效应和温度效应的Johnson-Cook材料模型。通过数值模拟结果的比较来研究不同弹头转速和金属薄板速度对侵彻过程中弹头最终速度、翻转角度和弹道偏移的影响。  相似文献

为了研究碳纤维复合材料板(CFRPs)在斜侵彻下的抗弹性能,利用一级轻气炮对碳纤维复合材料板进行了70~280 m/s速度范围的0°、30°和45°的侵彻贯穿实验,通过高速摄影技术测量了弹体速度和弹道轨迹。分析了冲击角度对弹道极限、能量吸收和弹道偏转的影响。结果表明:在冲击能量较低时,靶板在正冲击下的能量吸收率比斜冲击高,而当冲击能量较高时则恰好相反;此外,由于弹体穿过层合板的穿透长度随着冲击角度的增加而增加,弹道极限随着冲击角度的增加而增加;而冲击角度对弹道偏转的影响则随着冲击速度的变化而变化。  相似文献

Tire lateral force data on winter surfaces cannot be obtained with the traditional laboratory test technique of an instrumented tire on a moving belt surface. Furthermore, changing snow and ice conditions can drastically change the tire/surface interaction. In this study the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory’s (CRREL’s) Instrumented Vehicle (CIV) was used in a unique configuration to measure tire lateral force versus slip-angle data on ice and snow at various temperatures, moisture contents, depths, and densities. The vehicle is instrumented to record longitudinal, lateral, and vertical force at the tire contact patch of each wheel as well as vehicle speed, tire speed, and front tire slip angle. The tests were conducted at the Keweenaw Research Center (KRC) in northern Michigan in February 2005 and March 2006. Tests were conducted on ice, packed snow from 0.50 to 0.58 g/cc, remixed snow depths of 2.5–20.3 cm at 0.43 to 0.48 g/cc and freshly fallen snow with depths of 0.5–17 cm at 0.07 to 0.23 g/cc. Surface air temperatures during testing ranged from −14 to 1.6 °C. The data collected show that peak lateral force and the shape of the lateral force versus slip-angle curve are related to snow properties and depths.  相似文献

Three-dimensional numerical simulations were carried out to study the ballistic resistance of ductile targets subjected to normal impact by the projectiles. 12 mm thick Weldox 460 E steel targets were impacted by 20 mm diameter conical nosed projectiles and 1 mm thick 1100-H12 aluminum targets were impacted by 19 mm diameter ogive nosed projectiles. The internal nose angle of conical projectile was varied (33.4°–180°) and found to have significant effect on the ballistic limit of 12 mm thick Weldox 460 E steel target. Similarly, the caliber radius head (CRH) of ogive nosed projectile was varied (0–2.5) and found to have significant effect on the ballistic limit of 1 mm thick 1100-H12 aluminum target. The ballistic limit of 12 mm thick Weldox 460 E steel target increased almost linearly with the decrease in the projectile nose angle. While the ballistic limit of 1 mm thick 1100-H12 aluminum target increased as the CRH increased from 0 to 0.5 and with further increase in CRH to 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 its values were found to drop quite significantly. This investigation deals with the use of the finite element method on the reinforced concrete structural dynamic response and failure behavior when subjected to the projectile impacts of different velocities, using the test conducted in [S.J. Hanchak, M.J. Forrestal, E.R. Young, J.Q. Ehrgott, Perforation of concrete slabs with 48 MPa (7 ksi) and 140 MPa (20 ksi) unconfined compressive strengths, Int. J. Impact Eng. 12 (1992) 1–7]. The Johnson–Holmquist concrete material constitutive law model is employed to simulate the large strains, high strain states and high pressures to which the concrete is subjected. The projectile impact velocity ranges from 381 m/s to 1058 m/s. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the Johnson–Holmquist concrete material constitutive model can describe the different failure modes without any predefined defects in the element mesh, and normally obtain good agreement between the numerical simulations and test results.  相似文献

为了研究破片模拟弹的终点弹道效应,进行了不同质量A3钢钝头弹(弹径25 mm)撞击45钢板的试验研究,其中A3钢强度弱于45钢。在约200~800 m/s的撞击速度范围内,随着撞击速度的增加,分别观察到弹体出现泰勒撞击、向日葵型花瓣帽形失效及靶板冲塞穿甲三种破坏模式。伴随弹体和靶体经历的不同结构破坏模式,弹材和靶材也经历着相当复杂的材料失效。  相似文献

The well-known Jaeger–Rosenthal asymptotic particular solution for the quasi-steady-state problem of moving heat source is proven to be inconsistent with the source constant intensity, especially at dimensionless trailing edge coordinates vx/a < −2. The problem is reduced to an equivalent Poisson’s equation by exponential transformation of moving coordinate scale. Using the method of images, the fundamental solution is found; the temperature rise function exponentially approximates to 0 along negative semi-axis. The temperature field in a semi-infinite solid for the general case of surface power intensity distribution is expressed, using the found Green’s function. The cases of point, line, and circular heat sources are considered. The found fundamental solution and particular solution for moving circular heat source explain the phenomena of martensite transformation in low-carbon steel substrate at relatively low source velocity 1.7 cm/s.  相似文献

基于VOF多相流模型和有限体积法求解水、汽、气多相流动的RANS方程,结合重叠网格技术和six DOF算法对某一型号舰载射弹倾斜入水过程进行数值模拟研究。首先基于该方法研究了射弹旋转效应对射弹运动特性及流体动力特性的影响,然后对不同入水角下倾斜入水过程进行分析,得到不同倾角下旋转射弹入水空泡形态发展规律、弹体运动特征及流体动力特性变化规律。研究结果表明:射弹的旋转有利于弹体在初始对称面内的弹道稳定性,但会降低弹体侧向稳定性,使射弹受到的阻力系数、俯仰力矩系数变小;入水角越小,形成的空泡越不对称,由射弹运动状态的改变引起的空泡形态变化越明显,在超空泡航行阶段,弹体运动较稳定,不同角度下流体动力系数差别很小,当弹体下表面刺破空泡壁沾湿时,弹体运动状态发生较大变化,流体动力系数迅速增大,此时入水角度过小,弹体容易失稳;弹体的沾湿对空泡形态、弹体运动稳定性和流体动力特性有着重要的影响。  相似文献

An experimental method is developed by applying laser-Doppler anemometry (LDA) to measure the velocity history of a projectile impact on a target. The force history was obtained by assuming the projectile to be rigid and by differentiating a polynomial which best fitted the obtained velocity data. This method was then applied to the impact of a hemispherically tipped striker on 1-mm thick aluminum plates. The initial velocity of the projectile ranged from several m/s to 93.5 m/s. When these velocities were low enough not to produce cracks on the plate, double-force peaks were observed in each test, and the value corresponding to the higher peak was proportional to the initial velocity of the projectile. Further, this peak force occurred when the projectile just started to rebound, and spring-back behavior of the plate always occurred. Once the cracks on the target started to form, the peak impact force dropped, and the double-peak phenomenon disappeared. It was also found that the peak force was at approximately the same level for impact speeds above the ballistic limit of the plate. On the other hand, a power law was found to perfectly fit the relationship between the absorbed kinetic energy and the initial velocity of the projectile when it was lower than the ballistic limit.  相似文献

In this study, the film thickness around the roller is numerically estimated using the volume of fluid (VOF) method to clarify the film-formation process around the rotating roller. Parametric studies were performed to compare the effects of ink properties (viscosity, surface tension) and operational conditions (roller rotation speed, initial immersed angle) on film thickness. The viscosity of the ink and the speed of rotation of the roller were found to be the dominant factors that determine the ink film thickness. In addition, a correlation equation is proposed to predict the thickness of the ink film around a printing roller rotating at a speed of 20–30 rad/s, as a function of angular position, angular velocity, and viscosity.  相似文献

This work presents a novel experimental apparatus to determine the cutting effectiveness of grinding grits. The apparatus consists of a custom high-speed scratch tester, a force measurement system, and an offline 3D optical profilometer. Preliminary results based on a spherical tool are presented to demonstrate the usefulness of the system. Experiments were performed at depths of cut ranging from 0.3 μm to 7.5 μm at cutting speeds of 5 m/s to 30 m/s in 5 m/s increments. High resolution scans of the scratch profiles provided insight into the change in the cutting mechanics as the depth of cut and cutting speed were increased. In general, lower cutting speeds produced higher pile-up heights while higher cutting speeds produced lower pile-up heights. The force measurements indicated that the normal forces increased with cutting speed due to strain rate hardening of the workpiece material while the tangential forces decreased with cutting speed due to a reduction in the coefficient of friction and a change in the cutting mechanics. The force ratio data and the specific energy data both demonstrated high slopes at low depths of cut due to asperity contact between the tool and the workpiece. The modular nature of the developed system allows different grit geometries to be investigated.  相似文献

为考察素混凝土及钢纤维混凝土(钢纤维为平直型与端钩型,体积分数0.01~0.05)抗侵彻贯穿特性,采用12.7 mm弹道炮-测速靶系统开展了初速297~848 m/s的弹道冲击实验,获得了弹丸着靶速度及对应的最大侵彻深度、弹坑直径、靶体(板)破坏形态等实验参数,并利用高速摄影系统记录了靶体(板)的动态破坏过程。实验结果的对比表明,靶板的抗侵彻贯穿性能和破坏模式与钢纤维类型及含量密切相关。当钢纤维体积分数为0.05时,端钩型钢纤维混凝土的侵彻深度与相同强度等级素混凝土相比降低约52%,且贯穿破坏后靶板碎片的数量及飞散角度大幅降低,显示了高含量异型钢纤维混凝土在抗侵彻贯穿方面的适用性。  相似文献

为提高金属靶的抗弹性能,设计了一种含有月牙形空腔结构的金属靶。利用ABAQUS软件对月牙形空腔结构在12.7 mm穿甲燃烧弹弹芯侵彻下的弹体偏转性能进行了数值模拟研究,讨论了月牙形状、弹着点和空间排布对弹体偏转效果的影响。结果表明:月牙形状对弹体的偏转效果有显著的影响;空腔结构在不同弹着点表现出不同的弹体偏转性能,处于空腔胞元最薄弱处附近的弹着点弹体偏转角度明显小于其他位置;空腔胞元空间排布的非对称化处理能够提升空腔结构对子弹的偏转效果。  相似文献

In this paper, a new analytical method for projectile deformation and penetration into a semi-infinite target has been developed. This method is based on separated, successive and incremental steps. In deformation step, the target assumed rigid and the increment of projectile deformation was evaluated, whilst in penetration step, the projectile assumed rigid and the increment of penetration was evaluated. These sequential steps continued untill the projectile stopped.Furthermore, a series of ballistic tests have been carried out with ogival projectiles with striking velocity of 600–900 m/s. The projectiles and target plates material has been chosen from 4 types of steel. In this way, 210 tests for 48 combinations of projectile, target and velocity have been carried out. Numerical simulation has been also performed using the LS-DYNA code.Comparison between the depth of penetration obtained by this analytical method and those of the experimental and numerical ones shows a good agreement.  相似文献

Experimental investigations on the propulsive modes of the ram accelerator are reviewed in this paper. The ram accelerator is a ramjet-in-tube projectile accelerator whose principle of operation is similar to that of a supersonic air-breathing ramjet. The projectile resembles the centerbody of a ramjet and travels through a stationary tube filled with a premixed gaseous fuel and oxidizer mixture. The combustion process travels with the projectile, generating a pressure distribution which produces forward thrust on the projectile. Several modes of ram accelerator operation are possible which are distinguished by their operating velocity range and the manner in which the combustion process is initiated and stabilized. Propulsive cycles utilizing subsonic, thermally choked combustion theoretically allow projectiles to be accelerated to the Chapman-Jouguet(C-J) detonation speed of a gaseous propellant mixture. In the superdetonative velocity range, the projectile is accelerated while always traveling faster than the C-J speed, and in the transdetonative regime (85–115 % of C-J speed) the projectile makes a smooth transition from a subdetonative to a superdetonative propulsive mode. This paper examines operation in these three regimes of flow using methane and ethylene based propellant mixtures in a 16 m long, 38 mm bore ram accelerator using 45–90 g projectiles at velocities up to 2500 m/s.This article was processed using Springer-Verlag TEX Shock Waves macro package 1990.  相似文献

Sliding experiments were carried out using a block-on-ring friction machine. The tribosystem consists of the stationary block (counter-specimen) pressed at the required load P against the ring (specimen) rotating at the defined speed. The sliding was unidirectional. The block was a part of a bearing sleeve hardened EN-GJS 400-15 cast iron with a hardness value of 50 HRC. The ring samples, 35 mm in diameter, were made from hardened 42CrMo4 steel of hardness 32 HRC. Some variants of specimen surfaces were created by burnishing technique. Two kinds of experiments were done. Seizure tests were conducted at increasing pressure for sliding speeds in the range: 0.27–0.55 m/s. Wear resistance test was carried out under artificially increased dustiness conditions, too. It was found that surface texturing improved seizure resistance for the smallest sliding speed (0.27 m/s) comparing to untextured ground samples. The wear of steel rings with spherical dimples was smaller than of those having dimples of long drop shape for the pit-area ratio range of 7.5–20%.  相似文献

Experimental results are presented that reveal the relationship between the root mean square of the surface temperature field of an air/water interface (σ) and the heat flux (q′′) emanating from that interface, over a range of wind speeds. Experiments were conducted for wind speeds ranging from 1.0 to 4.0 m/s to determine if and how the σ versus q′′ relationship was affected by wind speed. Consistent surfactant coverage conditions were maintained for wind speeds ranging from 1.0 to 2.6 m/s, and these are the focus of the results presented herein. For wind speeds above 2.6 m/s the surfactant was consistently pushed downstream, resulting in an inhomogeneous surface condition for the air/water interface. For wind speeds less than 2.6 m/s the relationship between σ and q′′ is approximately linear and is weakly dependent on wind speed. The surface temperature field was obtained by infrared (IR) imaging. Sample IR images are presented in addition to the σ versus q′′ data. IR images are presented for surfaces covered with insoluble surfactants (liquid phase and solid phase), a soluble surfactant, and a clean water surface.

弹体在高速侵彻混凝土介质时,由于弹靶之间强烈的局部作用,导致弹体发生质量损失和弹头钝化。为进一步探究弹体高速侵彻混凝土靶质量侵蚀效应及其影响因素,基于热熔化机制及变摩擦因数模型,考虑弹体侵彻过程中头部形状变化,修正了弹体高速侵彻混凝土质量侵蚀模型。为验证模型的可靠性,基于30 mm弹道炮平台,开展了卵形弹体高速(700~1 000 m/s)侵彻典型混凝土靶体实验,获得了弹体高速侵彻质量侵蚀结果。结合理论模型对本文实验及文献实验数据进行了对比分析计算,验证了本文修正模型的可靠性。结果表明:弹体侵彻过程中,滑动摩擦项占总摩擦力的10%~40%,它对弹体侵彻过程的影响不能被忽略;考虑摩擦因数变化的质量侵蚀模型预测结果与已有实验数据吻合得较好;与本文实验数据的最大误差不超过7%,能较准确地预测不同工况下弹体的质量损失。  相似文献

为了研究12.7 mm穿燃弹以不同速度撞击陶瓷/铝合金复合靶板时弹芯的破碎及失效特性,开展了12.7 mm穿燃弹以434.5~844.6 m/s速度撞击SiC陶瓷/6061T6铝合金复合靶板的弹道试验,分析了弹靶的失效模式。弹芯在侵彻靶板后会产生不同尺寸的碎片,使用回收箱收集弹芯碎片并用不同孔径筛网对其进行筛分、称重,得到了不同撞击速度下弹芯碎片的质量分布,并对不同部位的弹芯碎片断口形貌进行了宏观和微观观测分析。研究结果表明:背板失效模式为碟形变形-剪切穿孔-花瓣形失效,试验后的弹芯碎片累积质量分布符合Rosin-Rammler幂率分布规律,且随着着靶速度的增大,小质量碎片质量增加;弹芯在冲击过程中等效直径较大碎片(大于8 mm)失效模式为拉伸脆性断裂,而等效直径小于2 mm的碎片上存在局部塑性剪切断裂。  相似文献
