A new Fe(III)-imprinted amino-functionalized silica gel sorbent was prepared by a surface imprinting technique for selective solid-phase extraction (SPE) of Fe(III) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Compared with non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had higher selectivity and adsorption capacity for Fe(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the ion-imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Fe(III) was 25.21 and 5.10 mg g−1, respectively. The largest selectivity coefficient of the Fe(III)-imprinted sorbent for Fe(III) in the presence of Cr(III) was over 450. The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Fe(III)/Cr(III) were 49.9 and 42.4, which were greater than 1. The distribution ratio (D) values of Fe(III)-imprinted polymers for Fe(III) were greatly larger than that for Cr(III). The detection limit (3σ) was 0.34 μg L−1. The relative standard deviation of the method was 1.50% for eight replicate determinations. The method was validated by analyzing two certified reference materials (GBW 08301 and GBW 08303), the results obtained is in good agreement with standard values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace iron in plants and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A novel Rh(III)-imprinted amino-functionalised silica gel sorbent was prepared by a surface imprinting technique for preconcentration and separation of Rh(III) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Compared with the traditional solid sorbents and non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Rh(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Rh(III) was 29.86?mg?g?1 and 11.23?mg?g?1, respectively. The imprinted Rh(III) was removed with 2?mL of 3% thiourea?+?2?mol?L?1 HCl. The obtained imprinted particles exhibited excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics process for Rh(III). The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Rh(III)/Ru(III), Rh(III)/Au(III), Rh(III)/Pt(IV), Rh(III)/Ir(IV), Rh(III)/Pd(II) were 26.7, 39.0 29.2, 28.1, 43.7, respectively, which were greater than 1. The detection limit (3σ) of the method was 0.26?µg?L?1. The relative standard deviation of the method was 1.79% for eight replicate determination of 10?µg of Rh3+ in 200?mL water sample. The method was validated by analysing standard reference material (GBW 07293), the results obtained is in good agreement with standard values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace rhodium(III) in geological samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A novel dual-ligand reagent (2Z)-N,N′-bis(2-aminoethylic)but-2-enediamide, was synthesized and applied to prepare metal ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) materials by ionic imprinted technique for selective solid-phase extraction (SPE) of trace Cd(II) from aqueous solution. In the first step, Cd(II) formed coordination linkage with the two ethylenediamine groups of the synthetic monomer. Then the complex was copolymerized with pentaerythritol triacrylate (crosslinker) in the presence of 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator. Subsequently, the imprinted Cd(II) was completely removed by leaching the dried and powdered materials particles with 0.5 M HCl. The obtained IIPs particles exhibited excellent selectivity for target ion. The distribution ratio (D) values of Cd(II)-IIPs for Cd(II) were greatly larger than that for Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II). The relative selective factor (αr) values of Cd(II)/Cu(II), Cd(II)/Zn(II) and Cd(II)/Hg(II) were 25.5, 35.3 and 62.1. The maximum static adsorption capacity of the ion-imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Cd(II) was 32.56 and 6.30 mg g−1, respectively. Moreover, the times of adsorption equilibration and complete desorption were remarkably short. The prepared Cd(II)-IIPs were shown to be promising for solid-phase extraction coupled with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) for the determination of trace Cd(II) in real samples. The precision (R.S.D.) and detection limit (3σ) of the method were 2.4% and 0.14 μg L−1, respectively. The column packed with Cd(II)-IIPs was good enough for Cd(II) separation in matrixes containing components with similar chemical behaviour such as Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II).  相似文献

A chelating matrix prepared by immobilising folic acid on silica gel-bound amine phase was used as a new solid-phase extractant. This sorbent has been developed only for preconcentration of trace Pb(II) prior to determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Experimental conditions were investigated by batch and column procedures. The optimum pH value for the separation of Pb(II) on the new sorbent was 4.0. The adsorbed Pb(II) was quantitatively eluted by 2.0?cm3 of 0.5?mol?dm?3 of HCl. Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation and determination of Pb(II). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the sorbent under optimum conditions was found to be 69.23?mg?g?1 for Pb(II). The detection limit of the method defined by International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry was 0.28?ng?cm?3. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method was lower than 2.0% (n?=?8). The developed method has been validated by analysing certified reference materials and successfully applied to the determination of Pb(II) in water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this work, a new 2-(2-oxoethyl)hydrazine carbothioamide modified silica gel (SG-OHC) sorbent was prepared and applied for preconcentration of trace mercury(II) prior to the measurement by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The optimization of some analytical parameters affecting the adsorption of the analyte such as acidity, shaking time, sample flow rate and volume, eluent condition, and interfering substances were investigated. At pH 3, the maximum static adsorption capacity of Hg(II) onto the SG-OHC was 37.5 mg g−1. The quantitative recovery (>95%) of Hg(II) could be obtained using 2 mL of 0.5 mol L−1 HCl and 1% CS(NH2)2 solution as eluent. Common coexisting substances did not interfere with the separation of mercury(II) under optimal conditions. The detection limit of present method was 0.10 ng mL−1, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was lower than 4.0% (n = 8). The prepared sorbent was successfully applied for the preconcentration of trace Hg(II) in certified and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A novel Pd(II)-imprinted amino-functionalized silica gel sorbent was prepared with the help of a surface-imprinting technique for the preconcentration and separation of Pd(II) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. Compared to the traditional solid sorbents and non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had a higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Pd(II). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Pd(II) was 26.71 mg g−1 and 10.13 mg g−1, respectively. The relative selectivity factor (αr) of Pd(II)/Zn(II), Pd(II)/Au(III), Pd(II)/Ru(III), Pd(II)/Rh(III), Pd(II)/Pt(IV), Pd(II)/Ir(III), Pd(II)/Fe(III) and Pd(II)/Zn(II) is 39.0, 60.2, 92.0, 85.0, 50.0, 58.0 and 45.0, respectively. The detection limit (3σ) of the method is 0.36 μg L−1. The relative standard deviation was 3.2% for eight replicate determinations of 10 μg of Pd2+ in 200 mL water sample. The method was validated by analyzing a standard reference material, and the results obtained were in good agreement with the standard values. The method was also applied to the determination of trace palladium in geological samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new sorbent – salen impregnated silica gel – was prepared and characterised for application as a minicolumn packing for flow-injection on-line preconcentration of cadmium(II). The system was coupled with flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FI-FAAS). The optimal pH for Cd(II) sorption was in the range of 7.4–8.8 and nitric acid (1%, v/v) was efficient as eluent. Sorption was most effective within the sample flow rate up to 7?mL?min?1. Sorption capacity of the sorbent found in a batch procedure was 26.3?µmol?g?1 (2.95?mg?g?1). Enrichment factor (EF) and limit of detection (LOD) obtained for 120-second loading time were 113 and 0.26?µg?L?1, respectively. The sorbent stability in the working conditions was proved for at least 100 preconcentration cycles. The evaluated method was applied to Cd(II) determination in various water samples.  相似文献

A new chelating matrix has been prepared by immobilising sulfanilamide (SA) on silica gel (SG) surface modified with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane as a sorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II). The determination of metal ions in aqueous solutions was carried out by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Experimental conditions for effective sorption of trace levels of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II) were optimised with respect to different experimental parameters using the batch and column procedures. The presence of common coexisting ions does not affect the sorption capacities. The maximum sorption capacity of the sorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 34.91, 19.07 and 23.62 mg g?1 for Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II), respectively. The detection limit of the method defined by IUPAC was found to be 1.60, 0.50 and 0.61 µg L?1 for Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was 4.0% (n = 8). The method was applied to the recovery of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II) from the certified reference material (GBW 08301, river sediment) and to the simultaneous determination of these cations in different water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Ofloxacin was successfully used as a chemical modifier to improve the reactivity of silica gel in terms of selective binding and extraction of heavy metal ions. This new functionalised silica gel (SG-ofloxacin) was as an effective sorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) of Cd(II) and Pb(II) in biological and natural water samples and their determination by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Experimental conditions for effective adsorption of trace levels of Cd(II) and Pb(II) were optimised with respect to different experimental parameters using the batch and column procedures. The time for 70% sorption for Cd(II) and Pb(II) was less than 2 min. Complete elution of the adsorbed metal ions from the SG-ofloxacin was carried out using 2.0 mL of 0.5 mol L?1 of HCl. Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation and determination at pH 4.0. The maximum static adsorption capacity of the sorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 39.17 and 48.69 mg g?1 for Cd(II) and Pb(II), respectively. The detection limits of the method were found to be 0.29 and 0.13 ng mL?1 for Cd(II) and Pb(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was lower than 3.0% (n = 5). The method was applied to the recovery of Cd(II) and Pb(II) from the certified reference material (GBW 08301, river sediment) and to the simultaneous determination of these cations in different water and biological samples with satisfactory results and yielding 100-folds enrichment factor.  相似文献

A novel method that utilizes 1-(2-formamidoethyl)-3-phenylurea-modified activated carbon (AC-1-(2-formamidoethyl)-3-phenylurea) as a solid-phase extractant has been developed for simultaneous preconcentration of trace Cr(III), Cu(II), Fe(III) and Pb(II) prior to the measurement by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Experimental conditions for effective adsorption of trace levels of Cr(III), Cu(II), Fe(III) and Pb(II) were optimized using batch and column procedures in detail. The optimum pH value for the separation of metal ions simultaneously on the new sorbent was 4. And the adsorbed metal ions could be completely eluted by using 2.0 mL 2.0 mol L−1 HCl solution. Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation and determination of target metal ions. The detection limits of the method were found to be 0.15, 0.41, 0.27 and 0.36 ng mL−1 for Cr(III), Cu(II), Fe(III) and Pb(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method was lower than 4.0% (n = 8). The method was successfully applied for the preconcentration of trace Cr(III), Cu(II), Fe(III) and Pb(II) in natural and certified samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Silica gel-bound amines phase modified with p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde (p-DMABD) was prepared based on chemical immobilization technique. The product (SG-p-DMABD) was used as an adsorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) prior to their determination by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The uptake behaviors of SG-p-DMABD for extracting these metal ions were studied using batch and column procedures. For the batch method, the optimum pH range for Cr(III) and Ni(II) extraction was ≥ 3, for Cu(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) extraction it was ≥ 4. For simultaneous enrichment and determination of all the metals on the newly designed adsorbent, the pH value if 4.0 was selected. All the metal ions can be desorbed with 2.0 mL of 0.5 mol L− 1 of HCl. The results indicate that SG-p-DMABD has rapid adsorption kinetics using the batch method. The adsorption capacity for these metal ions is in the range of 0.40-1.15 mmol g− 1, with a high enrichment factor of 125. The presence of commonly coexisting ions does not affect the sorption capacities. The detection limits of the method were found to be 1.10, 0.69, 0.99, 1.10 and 6.50 μg L− 1 for Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was 5.0% (n = 8) for all metal ions. The method was applied to the preconcentration of Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) from the certified reference material (GBW 08301, river sediment) and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new method that utilizes asparagine modified attapulgite as a solid phase extractant has been developed for preconcentration of trace Fe(III) prior to the measurement by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. Characterization of the surface modification was performed on the basis of Fourier transform infrared spectra. The separation/preconcentration conditions of the analyte were investigated, including the pH value, the shaking time, the sample ?ow rate and volume, the elution condition and the interfering ions. At pH 4, the new adsorbent had relatively high capacity and enrichment factor compared to other methods reported so far. The adsorbed Fe(III) was quantitatively eluted by 2 mL of 0.5 mol L−1 HCl. Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation. The detection limit of the method was 0.19 μg L−1. The relative standard deviation was 3.4% (n = 8) which indicated that the method had good precision for the analysis of trace Fe(III) in solution samples. The method was validated using two certified reference materials and has been applied for the determination of trace Fe(III) in biological and natural water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Silica gel was firstly functionalized with aminopropyltrimethoxysilane obtaining the aminopropylsilica gel (APSG). The APSG was reacted subsequently with curcumin yielding curcumin-bonded silica gel (curcumin-APSG). This new bonded silica gel was used for separation, pre-concentration and determination of Cu(II), Fe(III), Zn(II) in biological and natural water samples by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Experimental conditions for effective adsorption of trace levels of metal ions were optimized with respect to different experimental parameters using batch and column procedures in detail. The optimum pH value for the separation of metal ions simultaneously on the newly sorbent was 4.0. Complete elution of the adsorbed metal ions from the sorbent surface was carried out using 2.0 mL of 0.1 mol L− 1 of HCl. Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation and determination at pH 4.0. The maximum static adsorption capacity of the sorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 0.63, 0.46 and 0.37 mmol g− 1 for Cu(II), Fe(III) and Zn(II) respectively. The time for 95% sorption for Cu(II) Fe(III) and Zn(II) was less than 2 min. The detection limits of the method defined by IUPAC was found to be 0.12, 0.15 and 0.40 ng mL− 1 for Cu(II), Fe(III) and Zn(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was lower 3.0% (n = 5). The procedure was validated by analyzing the certified reference river sediment material (GBW 08301, China), the results obtained were in good agreement with standard values. This sorbent was successfully employed in the separation and pre-concentration of trace Cu(II), Fe(III) and Zn(II) from the biological and natural water samples yielding 75-fold concentration factor.  相似文献

A new sorbent was successfully prepared by immobilizing creatine on activated carbon and then used for separation/preconcentration of trace Hg(II) prior to detection by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Experimental conditions including pH, sample flow rate and volume, eluting variables and tolerance limit of interfering ions were evaluated and established. At pH 1.0 and flow rate of 2.5?mL?min?1, Hg(II) was adsorbed quantitatively on the column, then quantitatively eluted by 2.0?mL 0.1?mol?L?1 nitric acid solution; other transition metal ions did not interfere with the determination of Hg(II). An enrichment factor of 100 was obtained for Hg(II). The maximum adsorption capacity was 49.5?mg?g?1. Under the optimal conditions, the value of the detection limit (3σ) was 0.06?ng?mL?1, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) calculated was lower than 3.0% (n?=?8). The methodology was validated by analyzing certified reference materials and successfully applied to the determination of trace Hg(II) in natural water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A novel chelating resin (poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP) was prepared by metal ion imprinted polymer (MIIP) technique. The resin was obtained by one pot reaction of Cd(II)-diazoaminobenzene-vinylpyridine with cross-linker ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate (EGDMA). Comparing with non-imprinted resin, the poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP has higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Cd(II). The distribution ratio (D) values for the Cd(II)-imprinted resin show increase for Cd(II) with respect to both D values of Zn(II), Cu(II), Hg(II) and non-imprinted resin. The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Cd(II)/Cu(II), Cd(II)/Zn(II) and Cd(II)/Hg(II), are 51.2, 45.6, and 85.4, which are greater than 1. poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP can be used at least 20 times without considerable loss of adsorption capacity. Based on poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP packed columns, a highly selective solid-phase extraction (SPE) and preconcentration method for Cd(II) from aqueous solution was developed. The MIIP-SPE preconcentration procedure showed a linear calibration curve within concentration range from 0.093 to 30 μg l−1. The detection limit and quantification limit were 0.093 and 0.21 μg l−1 (3σ) for flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The relative standard deviation of the eleven replicate determinations was 3.7% for the determination of 10 μg of Cd(II) in 100 ml water sample. Determination of Cd(II) in certified river sediment sample (GBW 08301) demonstrated that the interfering matrix had been almost removed during preconcentration. The column was good enough for Cd(II) determination in matrixes containing components with similar chemical property such as Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II).  相似文献

Titanium was determined in nano-titanium(IV) oxide food packaging by microwave digestion with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Microwave digestion was optimized using different acid combinations. Both spectrometry techniques showed good reproducibility, repeatability, and recovery. For ICP-AES, the limit of detection was 5.0 mg kg?1, the linear dynamic range was 100–5000 µ g L?1, the average recoveries for blank samples spiked with titanium were between 94.7% and 100.1%, and the relative standard deviations were from 2.1% to 7.1%. By ICP-MS, the limit of detection was 0.3 mg kg?1, the linear dynamic range was 0.5–200 µ g L?1, the recoveries were 88.4%–96.3%, and the relative standard deviations were 6.3%–7.4%. These results indicated that methods were effective for the determination of titanium in food packaging.  相似文献

Copper(II)‐ion imprinted silica gel (Cu‐IISG) sorbent was synthesized by surface imprinting technique and was employed as a selective solid‐phase extraction material for on‐line preconcentration and separation, then coupled with atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) determination of Cu(II). The higher selectivity coefficient of Cu‐IISG for Cu(II) in the presence of competitive ions such as Fe(III), Ni(II) and Zn(II) was above 411, which was 35 times of NISG. The static adsorption capacity and dynamic adsorption capacity were 41.11 mg g?1 and 16.20 mg g?1, respectively. The Cu‐IISG offered a fast kinetics for the adsorption and desorption of Cu(II), which can be used for on‐line preconcentration and detection. Two certified reference materials of GBW07301a sediment and GBW07401 soil were analyzed and the determined values were in a good agreement with the certified values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace copper in tea leaf with satisfactory results (recovery between 96.3% and 102.3%).  相似文献

A solid-phase absorbent obtained by the immobilization of Aliquat 336 chloride in poly(vinyl chloride) is reported to extract preferentially Co(II) from its 7 M hydrochloric acid solutions containing Ni(II). Under the experimental conditions there was no extraction of Ni(II) which allowed the complete separation of these two ions. Co(II) was rapidly and quantitatively back-extracted with deionised water. A mechanism for the extraction of Co(II) is proposed based on the formation of the ion-pair A+[HCoCl4] where A+ is the Aliquat 336 cation. Fe(III) and Cd(II), usually present in Co(II) and Ni(II) samples, were also extracted into the solid-phase absorbent though at a slower rate than Co(II) and they did not interfere with the separation of Co(II) from Ni(II). It was also demonstrated that this approach allowed the complete separation of Ni(II) from the other metal ions mentioned above.  相似文献

A new functionalized mesoporous silica (MCM-41) using salicylaldehyde was utilized for the separation, preconcentration and determination of uranium in natural water by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).Experimental conditions for effective adsorption of trace levels of U(VI) were optimized. The preconcentration factor was 100 (1.0 mL of elution for a 100 mL sample volume). The analytical curve was linear in the range 2-1000 μg L−1 and the detection limit was 0.5 ng mL−1. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) under optimum conditions was 2.5% (n = 10). Common coexisting ions did not interfere with the separation and determination of uranium at pH 5. The sorbent exhibited excellent stability and its sorption capacity under optimum conditions has been found to be 10 mg of uranium per gram of sorbent. The method was applied for the recovery and determination of uranium in different water samples.  相似文献
