Inequalities of Maximum of Partial Sums and Weak Convergence for a Class of Weak Dependent Random Variables

In this paper, we establish a Rosenthal-type inequality of the maximum of partial sums for ρ^- -mixing random fields. As its applications we get the Hájeck -Rènyi inequality and weak convergence of sums of ρ^- -mixing sequence. These results extend related results for NA sequence and p^＊ -mixing random fields,     

Iterative Algorithm for Finding Approximate Solutions of a Class of Mixed Variational-like Inequalities

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the iterative algorithm for finding approximate solutionsof a class of mixed variational-like inequalities in a real Hilbert space,where the iterative algorithm is presentedby virtue of the auxiliary principle technique.On one hand,the existence of approximate solutions of this classof mixed variational-like inequalities is proven.On the other hand,it is shown that the approximate solutionsconverge strongly to the exact solution of this class of mixed variational-like inequalities.

Weyl and Lidski? Inequalities for General Hyperbolic Polynomials

The roots of hyperbolic polynomials satisfy the linear inequalities that were previously established for the eigenvalues of Hermitian matrices, after a conjecture by A. Horn. Among them are the so-called Weyl and Lidskiǐ inequalities. An elementary proof of the latter for hyperbolic polynomials is given. This proof follows an idea from H. Weinberger and is free from representation theory and Schubert calculus arguments, as well as from hyperbolic partial differential equations theory.     

Weak Type Weighted Inequalities for the Commutators of the Multilinear Calder ′on-Zygmund Operators

For the commutators of multilinear Calder ′on-Zygmund singular integral operators with B MO functions, the weak type weighted norm inequalities with respect to A~P weights are obtained.     

Global Poincaré Inequalities on the Heisenberg Group and Applications

Let f be in the localized nonisotropic Sobolev space Wloc^1,p （H^n） on the n-dimensional Heisenberg group H^n = C^n ×R, where 1≤ p ≤ Q and Q = 2n ＋ 2 is the homogeneous dimension of H^n. Suppose that the subelliptic gradient is gloablly L^p integrable, i.e., fH^n ｜△H^n f｜^p du is finite. We prove a Poincaré inequality for f on the entire space H^n. Using this inequality we prove that the function f subtracting a certain constant is in the nonisotropic Sobolev space formed by the completion of C0^∞（H^n） under the norm of （∫H^n ｜f｜ Qp/Q-p）^Q-p/Qp ＋ （∫ H^n ｜△H^n f｜^p）^1/p. We will also prove that the best constants and extremals for such Poincaré inequalities on H^n are the same as those for Sobolev inequalities on H^n. Using the results of Jerison and Lee on the sharp constant and extremals for L^2 to L（2Q/Q-2） Sobolev inequality on the Heisenberg group, we thus arrive at the explicit best constant for the aforementioned Poincaré inequality on H^n when p=2. We also derive the lower bound of the best constants for local Poincaré inequalities over metric balls on the Heisenberg group H^n.     

An Approximate M—estimation for the Parameters of Mixed Regression Model

In this paper, to keep scale inveriance, we propose an approximate M-estrmation for the mixed regression model and show consistency of the estimation under weaker conditions than that in [1].     

Inequalities of Maximum of Partial Sums and Convergence Rates in the Strong Laws for ρ~-mixing Random Variables

In this paper,we establish a Rosenthal-type inequality of partial sums for ρ~mixing random variables.As its applications,we get the complete convergence rates in the strong laws for ρ~-mixing random variables.The result obtained extends the corresponding result.     

Carleman Estimates for the Schrdinger Equation and Applications to an Inverse Problem and an Observability Inequality

The authors prove Carleman estimates for the Schrdinger equation in Sobolev spaces of negative orders, and use these estimates to prove the uniqueness in the inverse problem of determining Lp-potentials. An L2-level observability inequality and unique continuation results for the Schrdinger equation are also obtained.     

CQ Method for Generalized Mixed Equilibrium Problem and Fixed Point Problem of Infinite Family of Quasi--asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding a common element of the set of solutions for a generalized mixed equilibrium problems, the set of fixed points of infinite family of quasi- C-asymptotically non-expansive mappings in a Banach space by using the CQ method. Our results improve the main results of Takahashi and Takahashi and Takahashi and Zembayashi. Moreover, the method of proof adopted in the paper is different from that of them.     

Existence and Nonuniqueness of Weak Solutions of the Initial-Boundary Value Problem for ut=u^σ div（｜△↓u｜^（p-2）△↓u）

In this paper, we study the existence and nonuniqueness of weak solutions of the initial and boundary value problem for ut =u^σ div(|△↓u|^(p-2)△↓u) with σ≥1. Localization property of weak solutions is also discussed.     

Strong Consistency for the Kernal Estimates of the Random Window Width of the Density Function and its Derivatives Under Φ—Mixing Samples

In the paper,we study the strong uniform consistency for the kernal estimates of random window width of density function and its derivatives under the condition that the sequence｛Xa｝of the sample are the identically Φ-mixing random variables.
