For the purpose of atmospheric applications, we have measured N2- and O2-induced broadenings and shapes of rotational lines of N2O in the 235-350 K temperature range, precisely the J=8←7, J=22←21, and J=23←22 lines, located near 201, 552, and 577 GHz, respectively. The analysis of experimental lineshapes shows up significant deviations from the Voigt profile, which are characteristic of line narrowing processes. In a first step, the Voigt profile was considered for the determination of pressure broadening parameters and of their temperature dependencies. Results are in good agreement with the dependence from rotational quantum number previously observed for other rotational and rovibrational lines. They are well explained by calculations based on a semiclassical formalism that includes the atom-atom Lennard-Jones potential in addition to electrostatic interactions up to hexadecapolar contributions. In a second step, observed lineshapes were analyzed by using the Galatry profile and a speed-dependent Voigt profile. The nonlinear pressure behavior observed for the diffusion rate β involved in the Galatry profile leads to rule out the possible role of velocity/speed changing collisions, and to infer that discrepancies from the Voigt profile result from the dependence of relaxation rates on molecular speeds. This interpretation is supported by the comparison of optical and kinetic radii and confirmed by theoretical calculations of relaxation rates. Finally, it can be claimed that, for the N2O-N2 and N2O-O2 systems, deviations from the Voigt profile are explained by a speed-dependent Voigt profile.  相似文献

We report on linewidth measurements on the J=24K,11−23K,10 and J=38K,33−37K,32 millimeter wave transitions in the ground vibrational state of nitric acid, located near 470.23 and 544.36 GHz, respectively. Experiments were performed with N2 and O2 as perturber molecules, in the 240-350 K temperature range by using a video-type spectrometer. The foreign-gas broadening parameters and their temperature dependence coefficients were determined using the Voigt profile, no narrowing effect being observed. In order to check the reliability of reported values, we carried out measurements on the J=14K,12−13K,11 transition located near 206.6 GHz, previously observed in two other laboratories. For this last line all the reported values are consistent themselves within one claimed standard deviation.  相似文献

Magnetic neutron inelastic scattering has been used to investigate the non degenerate spim waves propagating in the [00.1] direction in CoCl2. The neutron results are explicable in terms of a model containing isotropic exchange as proposed by Lines [12, 13] with the addition of a small “in plane” anisotropy. At zero wave vector the anisotropy produces an energy gap in the lower magnon branch which is observed by AFMR to be 70 GHz. Since the maximum spin wave frequency at the zone centre and boundary is 0.56 THz and 0.42 THz respectively the calculations were made within the ground doublet of the 4T1g term. The derived exchange parameters are consistent with those obtained from susceptibility and light scattering. Finally there was no direct evidence to suggest the presence of a strong magnon-phonon hybridization in the [00.1] direction of CoCl2.  相似文献

An experimental study has been performed shedding light on the conformational energies of the asymmetric ether n-butyl ethyl ether. Rotational spectroscopy between 7.8 GHz and 16.2 GHz has identified two conformers of n-butyl ethyl ether, C4H9OC2H5. In these experiments spectra were observed as the target compound participated in an argon expansion from high to low pressure causing molecular rotational temperatures to be below 4 K. For one conformer, 95 pure rotational transitions have been recorded, for the second conformer, 20 pure rotational transitions were recorded. Rotational constants and centrifugal distortion constants are presented for both butyl ethyl ether conformers. The structures of both conformers have been identified by exploring the multi-dimensional molecular potential energy surface using ab initio calculations. From the numerous low energy conformers identified using ab initio methods, the three lowest conformers were pursued at increasingly higher levels of theory, i.e. complete basis set extrapolations, coupled cluster methods, and also taking into consideration zero point vibrational energies. The two conformers observed experimentally are only revealed to be the two lowest energy conformers when high levels of quantum chemical methodologies are employed.  相似文献

Microwave characteristics of MgB2/Al2O3 superconducting thin films were investigated by coplanar resonator technique. The thin films studied have different grain sizes resulting from different growth techniques. The experimental results can be described very well by a grain-size model which combines coplanar resonator theory and Josephson junction network model. It was found that the penetration depth and surface resistance of thin films with smaller grain sizes are larger than those of thin films with larger grain sizes.  相似文献

The c-axis resistivity measurements were performed in the vicinity of the ab-plane in order to investigate the interaction between Josephson vortices and pancake vortices in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ mesoscopic single crystals. It was found that the angular dependence of the c-axis resistivity drastically changes in high magnetic field regime. The vortex lock-in transition becomes considerably broad in high magnetic fields, while the angular dependence of resistance exhibits the sharp lock-in features in low magnetic field region.  相似文献

The frequencies of 42 far-infrared laser lines have been measured by mixing with high-order harmonics of microwave frequencies in a Josephson junction. A total of 5 emissions between 334 and 1887 m have been measured from12C16O2-pumped methyl chloride (CH3Cl) and 37 emissions between 116 and 1092 m in12C18O2-pumped difluoromethane (CH2F2). Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (PZT) thin films with large remanent polarization and SrBi2Ta2O9 (SBT) thin films with excellent fatigue-resisting characteristic have been widely studied for non-volatile random access memories, respectively. To combine these two advantages, bilayered Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3/SrBi2Ta2O9 (PZT/SBT) thin films were fabricated on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates by chemical solution deposition method. X-ray diffraction patterns revealed that the diffraction peaks of PZT/SBT thin films were completely composed of PZT and SBT, and no other secondary phase was observed. The electrical properties of the bilayered structure PZT/SBT films have been investigated in comparison with pure PZT and SBT films. PZT/SBT bilayered thin films showed larger remanent polarization (2Pr) of 18.37 μC/cm2 than pure SBT and less polarization fatigue up to 1 × 109 switching cycles than pure PZT. These results indicated that this bilayered structure of PZT/SBT is a promising material combination for ferroelectric memory applications.  相似文献

Both standing waves in laser oscillators and spatially inhomogenous cross sections of laser beam and pumprate cause a non-uniform distribution of excited state molecules in longitudinal and transversal direction, respectively. This spatial hole burning however is smoothed by diffusion of the excited molecules. The effect of diffusion is investigated theoretically for an optically pumped far infrared laser as well as the corresponding CO2 pump laser. It is found, that the remaining spatial hole burning in the direction of wave propagation is negligible within CO2 lasers but not within FIR lasers. Concerning the transversal direction it can be shown that in the FIR laser diffusion takes no effect, whereas the transversal distribution of the excited molecules in the CO2 laser is significantly influenced by diffusion.FIR ring lasers avoid longitudinal spatial hole burning, which leads to the common assumption that they use the active medium more efficient than conventional standing wave lasers, hence delivering higher output powers. This expected advantage is levelled out to a great extent by diffusion.  相似文献

The hydrated oxygen deficient complex perovskite-related materials Sr4(Sr2Nb2)O11·nH2O and Sr4(Sr2Ta2)O11·nH2O were studied at high water vapour pressures over a large temperature range by electrical conductivity measurements, thermogravimetry (TG), and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD). In humid atmospheres both materials are known to exhibit protonic conductivity below dehydration temperatures, with peak-shaped maxima at about 500 °C. In this work we show that the peaks expand to plateaus of high conductivity from 500 to 700 °C at a water vapour pressure of 1 atm. However, in situ synchrotron XRPD of Sr4(Sr2Nb2)O11·nH2O as a function of temperature shows that these observations are in fact coincident with melting and dehydration of a secondary phase Sr(OH)2. The stability of Sr4(Sr2Nb2)O11·nH2O and Sr4(Sr2Ta2)O11·nH2O in humid atmospheres is thus insufficient, causing decomposition into perovskites with lower Sr content and SrO/Sr(OH)2 secondary phases. This, in turn, rationalizes the observation of peaks and plateaus in the conductivity of these materials.  相似文献

The far infrared response of granular thin-film Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 superconductor has been investigated using long (5 s) but sharply truncated free electron laser pulses in the frequency range between 50 cm–1 and 125 cm–1. Under constant current bias, a fast response and a slow bolometric signal component could be identified in this energy range, which is below the BCS energy gap ( 200 cm–1). Measurements of the power dependences of the signal voltages showed that both the fast and the thermal responses are consistent with the predictions of the resistively shunted Josephson junction model.  相似文献

ZnAl2O4:Tb phosphor was prepared by combustion synthesis. ZnAl2O4:Tb exhibits three thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) peaks around 150, 275 and 350 °C. ZnAl2O4:Tb exhibits optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) when stimulated with 470 nm light.Electron spin resonance (ESR) studies were carried out to identify defect centres responsible for TSL peaks observed in ZnAl2O4:Tb. Two defect centres are identified in irradiated ZnAl2O4:Tb phosphor and these centres are assigned to V and F+ centres. V centre appears to correlate with the 150 °C TSL peak, while F+ centre could not be associated with the observed TSL peaks.  相似文献

The rotational spectrum of phosphaethene (CH2PH) was reinvestigated. One hundred and nineteen new lines were measured in the submillimeter range from 500 to 650 GHz. The determination of the centrifugal distortion constants is significantly improved. As the molecule is close to symmetric prolate top, both reduction A and S were compared. The equilibrium structure has been derived from experimental ground state rotational constants and ab initio rovibrational interaction parameters. This semi-experimental structure is in excellent agreement with the ab initio structure calculated at the CCSD(T) level of theory using a basis set of quintuple-zeta quality and a core correlation correction. The structure of CH2PH was compared to that of CH2NH which was also determined for this goal. It is found that the semi-experimental structure of CH2NH is less accurate than the ab initio structure. It is also found that the methylene group is much more asymmetric in CH2NH than in CH2PH.  相似文献

The spinel CoFe2O4 has been synthesized by combustion reaction technique. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy shows that samples are near-stoichiometric, and that the specimen surface both in the powder and bulk sample is most typically represented by the formula (Co0.4Fe0.6)[Co0.6Fe1.4]O4, where cations in parentheses occupy tetrahedral sites and those within square brackets in octahedral sites. The results demonstrate that most of the iron ions are trivalent, but some Fe2+ may be present in the powder sample. The Co 2p3/2 peak in powder sample composed three peaks with relative intensity of 45%, 40% and 15%, attributes to Co2+ in octahedral sites, tetrahedral sites and Co3+ in octahedral sites. The O 1s spectrum of the bulk sample is composed of two peaks: the main lattice peak at 529.90 eV, and a component at 531.53 eV, which is believed to be intrinsic to the sample surface. However, the vanishing of the O 1s shoulder peak of the powder specimen shows significant signs of decomposition.  相似文献
