Cow milk adulteration involves the dilution of milk with a less-expensive component, such as water or whey. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was employed to detect the adulterations of milk, non-destructively. Two adulteration types of cow milk with water and whey were prepared, respectively. NIR spectra of milk adulterations and natural milk samples in the region of 1100 - 2500 nm were collected. The classification of milk adulterations and natural milk were conducted by using discriminant partial least squares (DPLS) and soft independent modelling of class analogy (SIMCA) methods. PLS calibration models for the determination of water and whey contents in milk adulteration were also developed, individually. Comparisons of the classification methods, wavelength regions and data pretreatments were investigated, and are reported in this study. This study showed that NIR spectroscopy can be used to detect water or whey adulterants and their contents in milk samples.  相似文献

Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) is often applied when a rapid quantification of major components in feed is required. This technique is preferred over the other analytical techniques due to the relatively few requirements concerning sample preparations, high efficiency and low costs of the analysis. In this study, NIRS was used to control the content of crude protein, fat and fibre in extracted rapeseed meal which was produced in the local industrial crushing plant. For modelling the NIR data, the partial least squares approach (PLS) was used. The satisfactory prediction errors were equal to 1.12, 0.13 and 0.45 (expressed in percentages referring to dry mass) for crude protein, fat and fibre content, respectively. To point out the key spectral regions which are important for modelling, uninformative variable elimination PLS, PLS with jackknife-based variable elimination, PLS with bootstrap-based variable elimination and the orthogonal partial least squares approach were compared for the data studied. They enabled an easier interpretation of the calibration models in terms of absorption bands and led to similar predictions for test samples compared to the initial models.  相似文献

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was used in combination with partial least squares (PLS) calibration to determine low concentrated analytes. The effect of the orthogonal signal correction (OSC) and net analyte signal (NAS) pretreatments on the models obtained at concentrations of analyte near its detection limit was studied. Both pretreatments were found to accurately resolve the analyte signal and allow the construction of PLS models from a reduced number of factors; however, they provided no substantial advantage in terms of %RSE for the prediction samples. Multiple methodologies for the estimation of detection limits could be found in the bibliography. Nevertheless, detection limits were determined by a multivariate method based on the sample-specific standard error for PLS regression, and compared with the univariate method endorsed by ISO 11483. The two methods gave similar results, both being effective for the intended purpose of estimating detection limits for PLS models. Although OSC and NAS allow isolating the analyte signal from the matrix signal, they provide no substantial improvement in terms of detection limits. The proposed method was used to the determine 2-ethylhexanol at concentrations from 20 to 1600 ppm in an industrial ester. The detection limit obtained, round 100 ppm, testifies to the ability of NIR spectroscopy to detect low concentrated analytes.  相似文献

采用近红外光谱(NIRS)透射法对红花罐组式逆流提取过程中羟基红花黄色素A(Hydroxysafflor yellow A,HSYA)的含量进行快速无损的测定.在红花逆流提取过程中,以高效液相色谱法(HPLC)为对照分析方法,测定提取液中羟基红花黄色素A的含量,运用偏最小二乘(PLS)法建立NIR光谱与羟基红花黄色素A的HPLC分析值之间多元校正模型,并对逆流提取过程的未知样本进行含量预测.校正模型相关系数达到0.982,预测相关系数达到0.965,RMSEC和RMSEP分别为0.053和0.075,RSEC和RSEP分别为3.96%和5.25%.结果表明,NIRS可以作为一种准确、快速、无损的检测方法用于检测中药逆流提取过程有效成分含量变化规律.  相似文献

The pharmaceutical industry faces increasing regulatory pressure to optimize quality control. Content uniformity is a basic release test for solid dosage forms. To accelerate test throughput and comply with the Food and Drug Administration's process analytical technology initiative, attention is increasingly turning to nondestructive spectroscopic techniques, notably near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy (NIRS). However, validation of NIRS using requisite linearity and standard error of prediction (SEP) criteria remains a challenge. This study applied wavelet transformation of the NIR spectra of a commercial tablet to build a model using conventional partial least squares (PLS) regression and an artificial neural network (ANN). Wavelet coefficients in the PLS and ANN models reduced SEP by up to 60% compared to PLS models using mathematical spectra pretreatment. ANN modeling yielded high-linearity calibration and a correlation coefficient exceeding 0.996.  相似文献

Proteins possess strong absorption features in the combination range (5000-4000 cm−1) of the near infrared (NIR) spectrum. These features can be used for quantitative analysis. Partial least squares (PLS) regression was used to analyze NIR spectra of lysozyme with the leave-one-out, full cross-validation method. A strategy for spectral range optimization with cross-validation PLS calibration was presented. A five-factor PLS model based on the spectral range between 4720 and 4540 cm−1 provided the best calibration model for lysozyme in aqueous solutions. For 47 samples ranging from 0.01 to 10 mg/mL, the root mean square error of prediction was 0.076 mg/mL. This result was compared with values reported in the literature for protein measurements by NIR absorption spectroscopy in human serum and animal cell culture supernatants.  相似文献

A PLS model for prediction of somatic cell count (SCC) based on near-infrared (NIR) spectra of unhomogenized milk is presented in the study. Samples of raw milk were collected from cows in the early lactation period (from 7th to 29th day after parturition). The NIR spectra were measured in the region 400–1100 nm. As reference method a fluoro-opto-electronic method was applied. Different preprocessing methods were investigated. The robust version of PLS regression was applied to handle outliers present in the dataset and the uninformative variable elimination–partial least squares (UVE–PLS) method was used to eliminate uninformative variables. The final model is acceptable for prediction of SCC in raw milk.  相似文献

将中红外光谱筛选出的598个纯涤、纯棉及涤/棉混纺样本采用GB/T 2910.11-2009法测定其涤、棉准确含量,其中校正集样本252个,验证集样本346个。使用便携式近红外光谱仪获取样本的原始近红外光谱(NIRS)。校正集样本依据回归系数的分布趋势和范围选取最佳建模谱区,并采用差分一阶导、S-G平滑和均值中心化相结合的方法对原始光谱进行预处理,利用偏最小二乘法(PLS)建立涤/棉混纺织物中涤含量的近红外(NIR)定量分析模型。同时分析了样本颜色对NIRS的影响,探讨了斜线光谱样本、奇异样本和不同组织结构织物对模型预测效果的影响。结果表明:利用PLS法建立的涤/棉混纺织物定量分析模型最优组合包含1个光谱区间和9个主成分因子,校正集相关系数(RC)为0.998,标准偏差(SEC)为0.908。为验证所建模型的有效性和实用性,对346个未参与建模的涤棉样本进行了预测,并将预测结果与国标法测定值进行方差分析,两种方法结果无显著差异,预测正确率达97%以上。模型的建立为废旧涤/棉混纺织物快速、无损分拣提供了基础数据库。  相似文献

提出了一种基于在线膜富集的近红外漫反射光谱技术,对饮料中的微量塑化剂邻苯二甲酸二异辛酯(DEHP)进行快速检测。采用聚醚砜膜对饮料中的DEHP进行富集,将富集DEHP的膜直接进行近红外漫反射检测。参考DEHP的透射近红外光谱,对波数进行选择,以4 420~4 060、4 700~4 540、6 040~5 600cm-1作为建模的波数区间。通过比较原始光谱、多元散射校正、一阶求导、二阶求导及其组合,考察了光谱预处理方法对模型的影响,用去一交互验证法建立了偏最小二乘(PLS)模型,并用所建立的校正模型对校正集样品进行了预测。结果表明,在选定的波数区间,当用一阶求导对校正集光谱进行预处理时,所建立的模型对校正集的预测效果最佳,在隐变量数为7时,对校正集所有样品的校正均方根误差(RMSEC)为0.188 7mg/L。用此模型对预测集样品进行预测时,DEHP的质量浓度在0.5~5.0 mg/L范围内,预测均方根误差(RMSEP)为0.232 4 mg/L,平均相对预测误差为6.29%。  相似文献

This paper proposes a methodology for the classification and determination of total protein in milk powder using near infrared reflectance spectrometry (NIRS) and variable selection. Two brands of milk powder were acquired from three Brazilian cities (Natal-RN, Salvador-BA and Rio de Janeiro-RJ). The protein content of 38 samples was determined by the Kjeldahl method and NIRS analysis. Principal component regression (PCR) and partial least squares (PLS) multivariate calibrations were used to predict the total protein. Soft independent modeling of class analogy (SIMCA) was also used for full-spectrum classification, resulting in almost 100% classification accuracy, regardless of the significance level adopted for the F-test. Using this strategy, it was feasible to classify powder milk rapidly and nondestructively without the need for various analytical determinations. Concerning the multivariate calibration models, the results show that PCR, PLS and MLR-SPA models are good for predicting total protein in powder milk; the respective root mean square errors of prediction (RMSEP) were 0.28 (PCR), 0.25 (PLS), 0.11 wt% (MLR-SPA) with an average sample protein content of 8.1 wt%. The results obtained in this investigation suggest that the proposed methodology is a promising alternative for the determination of total protein in milk powder.  相似文献

利用高效液相色谱(HPLC)法测定高粱籽粒中阿魏酸、原儿茶醛和花青素的含量,比色法测定总酚、总黄酮、缩合单宁的含量;运用偏最小二乘法建立NIR光谱与HPLC法和比色法分析值之间的多元校正模型,预测高粱籽粒中主要酚类物质的含量.结果表明,各成分近红外预测值与实测值之间的校正模型相关系数(R)、内部交叉验证均方差(RMSECV)、最佳主因子数分别为:总酚0.9737, 0.288, 4;总黄酮0.9660, 0.00671, 8;缩合单宁0.9558, 0.0289, 6;阿魏酸0.9818, 0.0391, 6;原儿茶醛0.9979, 0.0118, 5;花青素0.9977, 0.0523, 4;预测相对偏差(RSEP)分别为:总酚6.99%、总黄酮4.54%、 缩合单宁7.13%、阿魏酸2.68%、原儿茶醛5.46%、 花青素5.81%.结果表明,模型对样品NIR的预测值与其相应的化学值有较好的相关性,此模型可用来预测高粱籽粒中的各酚类物质的含量,在高粱优质育种和品质分析中具有广泛的应用价值.  相似文献

This paper indicates the possibility to use near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy as a rapid method to predict quantitatively the content of caffeine and total polyphenols in green tea. A partial least squares (PLS) algorithm is used to perform the calibration. To decide upon the number of PLS factors included in the PLS model, the model is chosen according to the lowest root mean square error of cross-validation (RMSECV) in training. The correlation coefficient R between the NIR predicted and the reference results for the test set is used as an evaluation parameter for the models. The result showed that the correlation coefficients of the prediction models were R = 0.9688 for the caffeine and R = 0.9299 for total polyphenols. The study demonstrates that NIR spectroscopy technology with multivariate calibration analysis can be successfully applied as a rapid method to determine the valid ingredients of tea to control industrial processes.  相似文献

Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) has been widely used in the pharmaceutical field because of its ability to provide quality information about drugs in near-real time. In practice, however, the NIRS technique requires construction of multivariate models in order to correct collinearity and the typically poor selectivity of NIR spectra. In this work, a new methodology for constructing simple NIR calibration models has been developed, based on the spectrum for the target analyte (usually the active principle ingredient, API), which is compared with that of the sample in order to calculate a correlation coefficient. To this end, calibration samples are prepared spanning an adequate concentration range for the API and their spectra are recorded. The model thus obtained by relating the correlation coefficient to the sample concentration is subjected to least-squares regression. The API concentration in validation samples is predicted by interpolating their correlation coefficients in the straight calibration line previously obtained. The proposed method affords quantitation of API in pharmaceuticals undergoing physical changes during their production process (e.g. granulates, and coated and non-coated tablets). The results obtained with the proposed methodology, based on correlation coefficients, were compared with the predictions of PLS1 calibration models, with which a different model is required for each type of sample. Error values lower than 1-2% were obtained in the analysis of three types of sample using the same model; these errors are similar to those obtained by applying three PLS models for granules, and non-coated and coated samples. Based on the outcome, our methodology is a straightforward choice for constructing calibration models affording expeditious prediction of new samples with varying physical properties. This makes it an effective alternative to multivariate calibration, which requires use of a different model for each type of sample, depending on its physical presentation.  相似文献

利用偏最小二乘将瘦肉的近红外光谱数据分别与其棕榈酸、棕榈油酸、硬脂酸、油酸、亚油酸含量建立校正模型,并用交互校验和外部检验来考查模型的可靠性.各脂肪酸模型的校正相关系数分别为0.9998、0.9844、0.9963、0.9754、0.9969,均方估计残差(RMSEC)分别为0.0231、0.0485、0.111、0.373、0.311,交互校验均方残差(RMSECV)分别为0.509、0.115、0.225、0.848、0.649.应用所建立的各脂肪酸近红外模型对瘦肉脂肪酸组成进行预测,并对各脂肪酸的预测值与气相色谱法测定值进行配对t-检验,结果表明两者差异均不显著(p>0.05).  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a rapid method to determine sucrose in chocolate mass using near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). We applied a broad-based calibration approach, which consists in putting together in one single calibration samples of various types of chocolate mass. This approach increases the concentration range for one or more compositional parameters, improves the model performance and requires just one calibration model for several recipes. The data were modelled using partial least squares (PLS) and multiple linear regression (MLR). The MLR models were developed using a variable selection based on the coefficient regression of PLS and genetic algorithm (GA). High correlation coefficients (0.998, 0.997, 0.998 for PLS, MLR and GA-MLR, respectively) and low prediction errors confirms the good predictability of the models. The results show that NIR can be used as rapid method to determine sucrose in chocolate mass in chocolate factories.  相似文献

在自制小型常压流化床内采用多孔介质为床料,对生物质进行气化实验,分别考察了富氧气氛下温度和氧气浓度、水蒸气气氛下温度和水蒸气流量及不同种类床料对生物质产气特性的影响。结果表明,多孔床料下气化产气中可燃气体积分数随气化温度的提高而增大;随氧气浓度的增加,产气中H2的体积分数从14.52%增加到19.71%,CO的体积分数从43.41%降低到36.41%;气化剂水蒸气流量对生物质气化影响存在最佳范围;多孔床料种类不同对H2和CO的生成以及对低碳氢化合物(CxHy)的催化裂解强度的促进作用也不同。  相似文献

The potential of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for screening the inorganic arsenic (i-As) content in commercial rice was assessed. Forty samples of rice were freeze-dried and scanned by NIRS. The i-As contents of the samples were obtained by acid digestion-solvent extraction followed by hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry, and were regressed against different spectral transformations by modified partial least square (MPLS) regression. The second derivative transformation equation of the raw optical data, previously standardized by applying standard normal variate (SNV) and De-trending (DT) algorithms, resulted in a coefficient of determination in the cross-validation (1-VR) of 0.65, indicative of equations useful for correct separation of the samples in low, medium and high groups. The standard deviation (SD) to standard error of cross-validation (SECV) ratio, expressed in the second derivative equation, was similar to those obtained for other trace metal calibrations reported in NIRS reflectance. Spectral information relating to starch, lipids and fiber in the rice grain, and also pigments in the caryopsis, were the main components used by MPLS for modeling the selected prediction equation. This pioneering use of NIRS to predict the i-As content in rice represents an important reduction in labor input and cost of analysis.  相似文献
