Asymptotic relations between the solutions of a linear autonomous functional differential equation and the solutions of the corresponding perturbed equation are established. In the scalar case, it is shown that the existence of a nonoscillatory solution of the perturbed equation often implies the existence of a real eigenvalue of the limiting equation. This paper is devoted to the large class of stochastic differential equations of the Ito type whose coefficients are functionally perturbed and depend on a small parameter. The solution of a such equation is compared with the solution of the corresponding unperturbed equation, in the (2m)‐th moment sense, on finite intervals or on intervals whose length tends to infinity as small parameter tends to zero. Some new oscillation criteria are established for the second-order matrix differential system(r(t)Z′(t))′ p(t)Z′(t) Q(t)F(Z′(t))G(Z(t)) = 0, t ≥ to > 0,are different from most known ones in the sense that they are based on the information only on a sequence of subintervals of [t0, ∞), rather than on the whole half-line. Our concern is to solve the nonlinear perturbation problem for the semilinear elliptic equation in an exterior domain of with . The lower limit of the nonlinear perturbed term is given for all nontrivial solutions to be oscillatory. The tools for obtaining our theorems are the so-called ``supersolution-subsolution' method and some results concerning the oscillation and nonoscillation of solutions of the ordinary differential equation associated with the elliptic equation. A simple example is given to illustrate the main results.

Oscillation criteria are obtained by using the so called H-method for the second order neutral type delay differential equations of the form

where z(t)=x(t)+p(t)x(τ(t)), r, p, q, τ, σ, C([t0,∞),R) and fC(R,R).

The results of the paper contains several results obtained previously as special cases. Furthermore, we are also able to fix an error in a recent paper related to the oscillation of second order nonneutral delay differential equations.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to provide an oscillation theorem that can be applied to half-linear differential equations with time-varying coefficients. A parametric curve by the coefficients is focused in order to obtain our theorem. This parametric curve is a generalization of the curve given by the characteristic equation of the second-order linear differential equation with constant coefficients. The obtained theorem is proved by transforming the half-linear differential equation to a standard polar coordinates system and using phase plane analysis carefully.  相似文献

These criteria are different from most known ones in the sense that they are based on information only on a sequence of subintervals of [t0,∞), rather than on the whole half-line. They also extend, improve, and complement a number of existing results, and can be applied to extreme cases such as .
