In this paper we estimate the norm of the Moore-Penrose inverse T(a)+ of a Fredholm Toeplitz operator T(a) with a matrix-valued symbol aLN × N defined on the complex unit circle. In particular, we show that in the ”generic case” the strict inequality ||T(a)+|| > ||a−1|| holds. Moreover, we discuss the asymptotic behavior of ||T(tra)+|| for . A Hardy type two-weighted inequality is investigated for the multidimensional Hardy operator in the norms of generalized Lebesgue spaces L p(·). Equivalent necessary and sufficient conditions are found for the Lp(·) ? Lq(·){L^{p(\cdot)} \longrightarrow L^{q(\cdot)}} boundedness of the Hardy operator when exponents q(0) < p(0), q(∞) < p(∞). It is proved that the condition for such an inequality to hold coincides with the condition for the validity of two-weighted Hardy inequalities with constant exponents if we require of the exponents to be regular near zero and at infinity.  相似文献

We consider the operator in L 2(B, ν) and in L 1(B, ν) with Neumann boundary condition, where U is an unbounded function belonging to for some q ∈(1, ∞), B is the possibly unbounded convex open set in where U is finite and ν(dx) = C exp (−2U (x))dx is a probability measure, infinitesimally invariant for N 0. We prove that the closure of N 0 is a m-dissipative operator both in L 2(B, ν) and in L 1(B, ν). An interpretation is given to point interactions of the form −Δ+d inL p (ℝ N ), where Δ is the Laplacian operator andd is a pseudopotential related to the ‘Dirac measure at 0', depending on the dimension. They are described as extensions of −Δ, defined on the space {uC 0 (ℝ N )|u(0)=0} that are negative generators of analytic semigroups. In this paper, the boundedness of Toeplitz operator T b(f) related to strongly singular Calderón-Zygmund operators and Lipschitz function b ε (ℝn) is discussed from L p(ℝn) to L q(ℝn), , and from L p(ℝn) to Triebel-Lizorkin space . We also obtain the boundedness of generalized Toeplitz operator Θ α0 b from L p(ℝn) to L q(ℝn), . All the above results include the corresponding boundedness of commutators. The boundedness on Triebel-Lizorkin spaces of oscillatory singular integral operator T in the form e^i|x|^aΩ(x)|x|^-n is studied,where a∈R,a≠0,1 and Ω∈L^1(S^n-1) is homogeneous of degree zero and satisfies certain cancellation condition. When kernel Ω(x' )∈Llog+L(S^n-1 ), the Fp^a,q(R^n) boundedness of the above operator is obtained. Meanwhile ,when Ω(x) satisfies L^1- Dini condition,the above operator T is bounded on F1^0,1 (R^n).  相似文献

This paper continues the work done in Olofsson [Commun Math Phys 286(3):1051–1072, 2009] about the supremum norm of eigenfunctions of desymmetrized quantized cat maps. N will denote the inverse of Planck’s constant and we will see that the arithmetic properties of N play an important role. We prove the sharp estimate ||ψ|| = O(N 1/4) for all normalized eigenfunctions and all N outside of a small exceptional set. We are also able to calculate the value of the supremum norms for most of the so called newforms. R\{0}{L^{\lambda}, \lambda \in {\bf R}\backslash \{0\}} respectively by the generalized Landau operator ?. These formula are derived by means of pseudo-differential operators of the Weyl type, i.e. Weyl transforms, Fourier-Wigner transforms and Wigner transforms of some orthonormal basis for L 2(R 2n ) which consist of the eigenfunctions of the generalized Hermite operator and of the generalized Landau operator. Applications to an L 2 estimate for the solutions of initial value problems for the heat equations governed by L λ respectively ?, in terms of L p norm, 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞ of the initial data are given.  相似文献

Given a function f defined on a bounded polygonal domain W ì \mathbbR2{\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^2} and a number N > 0, we study the properties of the triangulation TN{\mathcal{T}_N} that minimizes the distance between f and its interpolation on the associated finite element space, over all triangulations of at most N elements. The error is studied in the W 1, p semi-norm for 1 ≤ p < ∞, and we consider Lagrange finite elements of arbitrary polynomial order m − 1. We establish sharp asymptotic error estimates as N → +∞ when the optimal anisotropic triangulation is used. A similar problem has been studied in Babenko et al. (East J Approx. 12(1):71–101, 2006), Cao (J Numer Anal. 45(6):2368–2391, 2007), Chen et al. (Math Comput. 76:179–204, 2007), Cohen (Multiscale, Nonlinear and Adaptive Approximation. Springer, Berlin, 2009), Mirebeau (Constr Approx. 32(2):339–383, 2010), but with the error measured in the L p norm. The extension of this analysis to the W 1, p norm is required in order to match more closely the needs of numerical PDE analysis, and it is not straightforward. In particular, the meshes which satisfy the optimal error estimate are characterized by a metric describing the local aspect ratio of each triangle and by a geometric constraint on their maximal angle, a second feature that does not appear for the L p error norm. Our analysis also provides with practical strategies for designing meshes such that the interpolation error satisfies the optimal estimate up to a fixed multiplicative constant.  相似文献

Lp(Rn) boundedness is considered for the multilinear singular integral operator defined by TAf(x) = ∫Rn Ω(x - y)/|x - y|n 1 (A(x) - A(y) - (△)A(y)(x - y))f(y)dy,where Ω is homogeneous of degree zero, integrable on the unit sphere and has vanishing moment of order one. A has derivatives of order one in BMO(Rn). We give a smoothness condition which is fairly weaker than that Ω∈ Lipα(Sn-1) (0 <α≤ 1) and implies the Lp(Rn) (1 < p < oo) boundedness for the operator TA. We introduce a new model of a block matrix operator M(α, β) induced by two sequences α and β and characterize its p-hyponormality. The model may be viewed as arising from the composition operator CT on l2+ : = L2(\mathbb N0)l^{2}_{+} := L^2(\mathbb {N}_0) induced by a measurable transformation T on the set of nonnegative integers \mathbb N0\mathbb {N}_0 with point mass measure. Composition operator techniques may then be used to treat the p-hyponormality of M(α, β). Finally, we apply our results to obtain examples of these operators showing the p-hyponormal classes are distinct.  相似文献

Let {X t : 0 ≦ t ≦ 1} be a centered stationary Gaussian process, with correlation function satisfying the condition ρ(t) = 1 − t β L(t), 0 < β < 2, and let L be a slowly varying function at zero. Observing the process at points i/N, i = 0,1,..., N and considering |X i/N X (i-1)/N | p with p > 0, we study the properties of the Donsker line associated with p-th order variations . We also study the relationship between the number of crossings of a regularization of the initial process and the local time of the initial process. The results depend on the values of β. We are interested in the location of the singularities of maps uW s,p (S N , S 1) when 1 ≤ sp and 1 < sp < 2. To this end, we consider the distributional Jacobian.
