首次用双流体模型对雾化燃料在扩张形超燃室中沿九喷嘴顺流喷射的混合问题进行了数值研究。气相用迎风 TVD格式求解三维全 Navier- Stokes方程 ,液相用预估、校正 NND格式求解三维 Euler方程。相间相互作用的常微分方程用预估、校正Runge- Kutta法求解。用三维 Poisson方程生成网格。结果表明 :气相较液相的扩散效果好 ,小直径液滴的扩散效果好。相间速度滑移、改变气相喷射压力和喷射速度对液相扩散的贡献不大 ,但调整喷射角度会明显地增强液相的扩散、混合 ,本文结果未出现阻塞。  相似文献

In this paper, numerical simulation of three-dimensional supersonic flow in a duct is presented. The flow field in the duct is complex and can find its applications in the inlet of air-breathing engines. A unique streamwise marching Lagrangian method is employed for solving the steady Euler equations. The method was first initiated by Loh and Hui (1990) for 2-D steady supersonic flow computations and then extended to 3-D computation by the present authors Loh and Liou (1992). The new scheme is shown to be capable of accurately resolving complicated shock or contact discontinuities and their interactions. In all the computations, a free stream of Mach numberM=4 is considered.This article was processed using Springer-Verlag TEX Shock Waves macro package 1.0 and the AMS fonts, developed by the American Mathematical Society.  相似文献

A scramjet combustor with double cavitybased flameholders was experimentally studied in a directconnected test bed with the inflow conditions of M = 2.64,Pt = 1.84 MPa,Tt = 1 300 K.Successful ignition and selfsustained combustion with room temperature kerosene was achieved using pilot hydrogen,and kerosene was vertically injected into the combustor through 4×φ 0.5 mm holes mounted on the wall.For different equivalence ratios and different injection schemes with both tandem cavities and parallel cavities,flow fields were obtained and compared using a high speed camera and a Schlieren system.Results revealed that the combustor inside the flow field was greatly influenced by the cavity installation scheme,cavities in tandem easily to form a single side flame distribution,and cavities in parallel are more likely to form a joint flame,forming a choked combustion mode.The supersonic combustion flame was a kind of diffusion flame and there were two kinds of combustion modes.In the unchoked combustion mode,both subsonic and supersonic combustion regions existed.While in the choked mode,the combustion region was fully subsonic with strong shock propagating upstream.Results also showed that there was a balance point between the boundary separation and shock enhanced combustion,depending on the intensity of heat release.  相似文献

Results of a numerical study of three-dimensional supersonic jets propagating in a cocurrent flow are described. Averaged parabolized Navier-Stokes equations are solved numerically on the basis of a developed scheme, which allows calculations in supersonic and subsonic flow regions to be performed in a single manner. A jet flow with a cocurrent flow Mach number 0.05 ⩽ M ⩽ 7.00 is studied, and its effect on the structure of the mixing layer is demonstrated. A nonpremixed bluff-body burner flow and flame have been studied using planar flow visualization and species concentration imaging techniques. The burner consists of a central jet of CH 4 in a cylindrical bluff-body and an outer coflowing-air stream. Planar flow visualization, using Mie scattering from seed particles added to the fuel jet, Raman scattering from CH 4 and laser-induced fluorescence of CH combined with Raman scattering of CH 4 provided information on turbulent flow, mixing and combustion. The CH 4 imaging system utilized two cameras, which enhanced the dynamic range of the diagnostic system by a factor of 10 over a single-camera system. It was observed that the fuel jet stagnated on the axis due to interaction with the high velocity air flow. The flow and mixing were found to have significant coherent and noncoherent, large-scale, time-varying structures. The detailed CH 4 Raman and CH fluorescence measurements of an air-dominated bluff-body flame revealed that the stagnation zone governs mixing and flame stability. Through large-scale mixing, the stagnated jet feeds the recirculation zone and also creates a favorable condition to stabilize the flame detached from the bluff-body. The instantaneous flame zone, as defined by CH, was found to be narrow and concentrated in an envelope around the stagnation zone. This narrow flame characteristic is consistent with that observed for jet flames. Although the internal structure of the flame envelops have not yet been defined, these results suggest that this bluff-body flame can be modeled by a flame sheet type approach, where the reaction front is captured by the large-scale structures. This should simplify the development of modeling approaches for these flows since molecular mixing and chemical reaction, which occur within the flame sheet, can be separated from the large-scale mixing process.  相似文献

Particle velocity and concentration statistics were measured in a vertically downward planar sudden expansion flow for large-eddy particle Stokes numbers (τpUo/5H) ranging from 0.5 to 7.4. Particles with Stokes numbers greater than 3 did not enter the recirculation zone, exhibited substantial attenuation of cross-stream velocity fluctuations, and had large streamwise velocity fluctuations in regions of strong velocity gradient. The smallest particles filled the recirculation zone and showed strong response to the large eddies in the flow. Phase-locked particle concentration measurements showed that these particles were centrifuged away from vortex cores and concentrated between vortices. Intermediate-size particles with Stokes numbers of 1.4 were injected intermittently into the recirculation zone as tongues of particles moving down between vortices. Particle Reynolds number was found to have negligible effect on the particle velocity statistics.  相似文献

2nd-order upwind TVD scheme was used to solve the laminar, fully Navier-Stokes equations. The numerical simulations were done on the propagation of a shock wave with Ma S = 2 and 4 into a hydrogen and air mixture in a duct and a duct with a rearward step. The results indicate that a swirling vortex may be generated in the lopsided interface behind the moving shock. Meanwhile, the complex shock system is also formed in this shear flow region. A large swirling vortex is produced and the fuel mixing can be enhanced by a shock wave at low Mach number. But in a duct with a rearward step, the shock almost disappears in hydrogen for Ma S = 2. The shock in hydrogen will become strong if Ma S is large. Similar to the condition of a shock moving in a duct full of hydrogen and air, a large vortex can be formed in the shear flow region. The large swirling vortex even gets through the reflected shock and impacts on the lower wall. Then, the distribution of hydrogen behind the rearward step is divided into two regions. The transition from regular reflection to Mach reflection was observed as well in case Ma S = 4.  相似文献

The flow with a free-stream Mach number M = 6 around a cylindrical body with a sharp spike is studied. The existence of a supersonic reverse flow for one of the phases of the pulsating flow regime is experimentally validated. A range of spike lengths is determined, which ensures a region of a supersonic reverse flow near the side surface of the spike. The supersonic combustion RAM jet (SCRAM jet) engine is expected to be used in next-generation space planes and hypersonic airliners. To develop the engine, stabilized combustion in a supersonic flow field must be attained even though the residence time of flow is extremely short. A mixing process for breathed air and fuel injected into the supersonic flow field is therefore one of the most important design problems. Because the flow inside the SCRAM jet engine has high enthalpy, an experimental facility is required to produce the high-enthalpy flow field. In this study, a detonation-driven shock tunnel was built to produce a high-enthalpy flow, and a model SCRAM jet engine equipped with a backward-facing step was installed in the test section of the facility to visualize flow fields using a color schlieren technique and high-speed video camera. The fuel was injected perpendicularly to a Mach 3 flow behind the backward-facing step. The height of the step, the injection distance and injection pressure were varied to investigate the effects of the step on air/fuel mixing characteristics. The results show that the recirculation region increases as the fuel injection pressure increases. For injection behind the backward-facing step, mixing efficiency is much higher than with a flat plate. Also, the injection position has a significant influence on the size of the recirculation region generated behind the backward-facing step. The schlieren photograph and pressure histories measured on the bottom wall of the SCRAM jet engine model show that the fuel was ignited behind the step.Communicated by K. Stability of a supersonic (M = 5.373) boundary layer with local separation in a compression corner with a passive porous coating partly absorbing flow perturbations is considered by solving two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations numerically. The second mode of disturbances of a supersonic boundary layer is demonstrated to be the most important one behind the boundary-layer reattachment point. Features of the ignition kinetics of an H2/air mixture in the supersonic flow behind an inclined shock front are analyzed when asymmetric vibrations of a small amount (<1%) of O3 molecules specially introduced into the initial mixture are excited by 9.7 μm wavelength radiation. It is shown that this radiation leads to intensification of the chain reactions and makes it possible to organize combustion at small distances from the front (of the order of 1 m) of even relatively weak shocks at small values of the laser radiation energies absorbed by the gas. Blowing at bluff body base was considered under different conditions and for small amount of blowing this problem was solved using dividing streamline model [1]. The effect of supersonic blowing on the flow characteristics of the external supersonic stream was studied in [2–4]. The procedure and results of the solution to the problem of subsonic blowing of a homogeneous fluid at the base of a body in supersonic flow are discussed in this paper. Analysis of experimental results (see, e.g., [5]) shows that within a certain range of blowing rate the pressure distribution along the viscous region differs very little from the pressure in the free stream ahead of the base section. In this range the flow in the blown subsonic jet and in the mixing zones can be described approximately by slender channel flow. This approximation is used in the computation of nozzle flows with smooth wall inclination [6, 7]. On the other hand, boundary layer equations are used to compute separated stationary flows with developed recirculation regions [8] in order to describe the flow at the throat of the wake. The presence of blowing has significant effect on the flow structure in the base region. An increasing blowing rate reduces the size of the recirculation region [9] and increases base pressure. This leads to a widening of the flow region at the throat, usually described by boundary-layer approximations.  A methodology of experimentation in high supersonic wind tunnels for studying aerodynamic characteristics of hypersonic flying vehicles powered by air-breathing engines is discussed. Investigations of such total aerodynamic forces as drag, lift and pitching moment at testing the models are implicit when the air flow through the model ducts is accomplished so that to provide the simulation of the external flow around the airplane and flow over the inlets, but the operating engines and, hence, the exhaust jets are not modeled. The methods used for testing such models are based on the measurement of duct stream parameters alongside with the balance measurement of aerodynamic forces acting on the models. In the tests, aerometric tools are used such as narrow metering nozzles (plugs), pitot and static pressure probes, stagnation temperature probes and pressure orifices in walls of the model duct. The aerometric data serve to determine the flow rate and momentum of the stream at the duct exit. The internal non-simulated forces of the model ducts are also determined using the conservation equations for energy, mass flow and momentum, and these forces are eliminated from the aerodynamic test results. The techniques of the said model testing have been well developed as applied to supersonic aircraft, however their application for hypersonic vehicles whose models are tested at high supersonic speeds, Mach number M >4, implies some specific features. In the present paper, the results of experimental and theoretical study of these features are discussed. Some experimental data on aerodynamics of hypersonic aircraft models received in methodological tests are also presented. The tunnel experiments have been carried out in the Mach number range M =2–6. The results of a numerical investigation of supersonic off-design flow past waveriders at the freestream Mach numbers M = 4 and 8 are presented. Flow regimes with M both greater and smaller than the design value M d are analyzed. Configurations based on the flows behind plane shocks and described by power-law functions are considered. The results are obtained by the finite-volume solution of the Euler equations using higher-order TVD Runge-Kutta schemes.  相似文献

简要介绍了我们近年来基于有限元法开展的地学计算研究新进展,重点在于原煤裂隙介质中微生物反应与流体流动耦合过程的数学模型及其在模拟微生物产气过程中的应用。原煤微生物产气过程包括以下四个主要阶段:水解,酸化,有机酸和醇类降解为乙酸,最后生成甲烷。该生化反应的主要成分是固态的煤和微生物,液态的降解煤、中间产物、醋酸和水,以及气态的 CH4和 CO2。基于质量守恒定律,导出了描述原煤微生物产气耦合过程的偏微分方程,在有限元软件PANDAS平台基础上求解,并应用于模拟和分析原煤中微生物产气过程。数值模拟结果表明了本文提出的算法的有效性。  相似文献

Results of modeling the interaction of a plane supersonic jet with a supersonic turbulent high-enthalpy flow in a channel are reported. The problem is solved in a two-dimensional formulation at external flow Mach numbers M = 2.6 and 2.8 and at high values of the total temperature of the flow T 0 = 1800–2000 K. The mathematical model includes full averaged Navier-Stokes equations supplemented with a two-equation turbulence model and an equation that describes the transportation of the injected substance. The computations are performed by using the ANSYS Fluent 12.1 software package. Verification of the computational technique is performed against available experimental results on transverse injection of nitrogen and helium jets. The computed and experimental results are demonstrated to agree well. For the examined problems, in addition to surface distributions of characteristics, fields of flow parameters are obtained, which allow one to reproduce specific features that can be hardly captured in experiments. Parametric studies show that an increase in the angle of inclination and the mass flow rate of the jet leads to an increase in the depth of jet penetration into the flow, but more intense separated flows and shock waves are observed in this case.  相似文献

Numerical simulations have been carried out to study pulsatile laminar flows in a pipe with an axisymmetric ringtype constriction. Three types of pulsatile flows were investigated, namely a physiological flow, a pure sinusoidal flow and a non-zero mean velocity sinusoidal flow. The laminar flow governing equations were solved by the SIMPLE algorithm on a non-staggered grid and a modified Crank-Nicolson approximation was used to discretrize the momentum equations with respect to time. The maximum flow Reynolds numer (Re) is 100. The Womersley number (Nw) ranges from 0 to 50, with the corresponding Strouhal number (St) ranging from 0 to 3·98. The constriction opening ratio (d/D) and thickness ratio (h/D) are fixed at 0·5 and 0·1 respectively. Within the time period investigated, all these pulsatile flows include both forward and backward flows. The unsteady recirculation region and the recirculation points change in size and location with time. For Nw ≤ 1 and St≤ 1·56 x 10?3 the three pulsatile flows have the same simple relation between the instantaneous flow rate and pressure loss (Δp) across the constriction and the pressure gradient in the axial direction (dp/dz) in the fully developed flow region. The phase angles between the flow rate and pressure loss and the pressure gradient are equal to zero. With increasing Nw and St, the phase angle between the flow rate and the dp/dz becomes larger and has its maximum value of 90° at Nw = 50 and St = 3·98. The three pulsatile flows also show different relations between the flow rate and the pressure gradient. The pure sinusoidal flow has the largest maximum pressure gradient and the non-zero mean velocity sinusoidal flow has the smallest. For larger Nw and St the fully developed velocity profiles in the fully developed flow region have a smaller velocity gradient along the radial direction in the central region. The maximum recirculation length increases for Nw ranging from 0 to 4·2, while this length becomes very small at Nw = 50 and St = 3·98. The deceleration tends to enlarge the recirculation region and this effect appears for Nw ≥ 3 and St ≥ 1·43×10?2. Linear relations exist between the flow rate and the instantaneous maximum values of velocity, vorticity and shear stress.  相似文献

The supersonic M = 5 flow past slender elliptic cones with the semi-vertex angle in the plane of the major semi-axis ? c = 4° and an isothermal surface is investigated under the assumption of the flow symmetry. Calculations on the basis of the time-dependent three-dimensional Navier-Stokes and Reynolds equations are carried out on the Reynolds number and angle of attack ranges 104 ≤ Re ≤ 108 and 0 ≤ α ≤ 15° for cones with ellipticity coefficients 1/32 ≤ δ= b/a ≤ 1. The effect of the relevant parameters of the problem on the flowfield structure and the aerodynamic characteristics of the cones is demonstrated.  相似文献

Mixing Measurements in a Supersonic Expansion-Ramp Combustor   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
This paper reports results on molecular mixing for injection via an expansion-ramp into a supersonic freestream with M 1 = 1.5. This geometry produces a compressible turbulent shear layer between an upper, high-speed “air” stream and a lower, low-speed “fuel” stream, injected through an expansion-ramp at α = 30° to the high-speed freestream. Mass injection is chosen to force the shear layer to attach to the lower guide wall. This results in part of the flow being directed upstream, forming a recirculation zone. Employing the hypergolic hydrogen-fluorine chemical reaction and pairs of “flip” experiments, molecular mixing is quantified by measuring the resulting temperature rise. Initial experiments established the fast-chemistry limit for this flow in terms of a Damköhler number (Da). For Da ≥ 1.4, molecularly mixed fluid effectively reacts to completion. Parameters varied in these experiments were the measurement station location, the injection velocity of the (lower) “fuel” stream, the stoichiometry for the flip experiments, and the density ratio of the fuel and air streams. As expected, mixing increases with increasing distance from the injection surface. The mixed fluid fraction increases by 12% when changing the fuel-to-air stream density ratio from 1 to 0.2. Comparisons with measurements at subsonic (high-speed) “air” stream velocities show that the trend of decreasing mixing with increasing speed documented in free-shear layer flows is also encountered in these flows. The current geometry produces higher mixing levels than do free shear layers.  相似文献
