We report an angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy study of electronic structures of Eu1−xLaxFe2As2 single crystals, in which the spin density wave transition is suppressed with La doping. In the paramagnetic state, the Fermi surface maps are similar for all dopings, with chemical potential shifts corresponding to the extra electrons introduced by the La doping. In the spin density wave state, we identify electronic structure signatures that relate to the spin density wave transition. Bands around M show that the energy of the system is saved by the band shifts towards high energies, and the shifts decrease with increasing doping, in agreement with the weakened magnetic order.  相似文献

The interplay between the superconducting phase and spin density wave order phase was studied. We report the magnetic and superconducting properties of the hole-doped FeAs-based superconducting compound La0.87−xLnxSr0.13FeAsO (Ln=Sm, Gd, Dy; 0≤x≤0.06). Both resistivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements show that the superconducting transition temperature decreases with increase in composition of magnetic ions. The hysteresis loop of the La0.87−xLnxSr0.13FeAsO sample shows a superconducting hysteresis in addition to a paramagnetic background. The experiment demonstrates that the magnetism and superconductivity coexist in hole-doped FeAs-based superconducting compounds. Among these three magnetic rare-earth elements, the influence of Dy3+ doping on superconductivity is more evident than that of Gd3+ doping, while the influence of Sm3+ doping is the weakest. The trend is consistent with the variation of the lattice parameter along c-axis.  相似文献

The electronic structures and magnetic properties of double perovskites Sr2Fe1−xCrxReO6 (x=0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0) have been studied within the local spin density approximation (LSDA) and LSDA+U schemes. The calculated results reveal that with increasing Cr content the cell volume shrinks 2.61%; the Fe/Cr site magnetic moment decreases while the Re-site moment increases. The total spin magnetic moment linearly decreases with the Cr doping from 3.00μB for x=0.00 down to 1.00μB for x=1.00 per formula unit. The magnetic coupling constants increase with increasing x. The electronic structure calculations indicate that the electronic concentration in the Re spin-down subband slightly increases resulting from the increase of bonding-antibonding interaction between the localised and the delocalised states in spin-down band; the coupling of O-2p and transition-metal-3d is substantially enhanced with the Cr doping. We discuss the origin of the anomalously high TC of Cr-doped Sr2FeReO6 compounds in terms of band hybridization effects.  相似文献

The electronic structure of Sr2CuMn2As2O2 and Sr2CuFe2As2O2 are studied by the first-principle calculations. These compounds have a body-centered-tetragonal crystal structure that consists of the CuO2 layers similar to those in the high-Tc cuprate superconductor, and intermetallic MAs (M = Mn, or Fe) layers similar to the FeAs layers in high-Tc pnictides. Such special structure makes them as interesting candidates for new type of superconductor since they have two types of superconducting layers. However, our calculations indicate that the states in the range from −2.0 eV to +2.0 eV are dominated by Mn-3d or Fe-3d states, while the states of Cu-3d are far away from the Fermi level (in the range from −3.0 eV to −1.0 eV). Such results are significantly different with the Cu-based superconductor, like La2CuO4, where the states around Fermi level are dominated by Cu-3d states. Besides, we find that the mean-field magnetic ground state is the checkerboard antiferromagnetic in Cu sublattice and the stripe antiferromagnetic in Fe (or Mn) sublattice.  相似文献

The Hall resistivity and magnetization have been investigated in the ferromagnetic state of the bilayered manganite La2−2xSr1+2xMn2O7 (x=0.36). The Hall resistivity shows an increase in both the ordinary and anomalous Hall coefficients at low temperatures below 50 K, a region in which experimental evidence for the spin glass state has been found in a low magnetic field of 1 mT. The origin of the anomalous behavior of the Hall resistivity relevant to magnetic states may lie in the intrinsic microscopic inhomogeneity in a quasi-two-dimensional electron system.  相似文献

An analysis is presented of experimental and theoretical results of the MnFeAsyP1−y (0.15≤y≤0.66) and Mn2−xFexAs0.5P0.5 (0.5≤x≤1.0) systems to identify main traits that underlie the mechanism of formation of different antiferromagnetic (AF) phases in the two systems. The discrepancy between the calculated from first principles and experimental values of the magnetic moment in the ferromagnetic phase with cation substitution in the system Mn2−xFexAs0.5P0.5 is due to the appearance of a canted magnetic structure. In this case, the emergence of an AF phase with decreasing iron concentration precedes a significant change in the electronic d-band filling. In the model of the spiral structure in the system of itinerant electrons it is shown that the stabilization of the AF phase with decreasing arsenic concentration, while maintaining the number of d-electrons, is a consequence of changes in the shape of the density of electronic states that occur with a decrease in unit-cell volume.  相似文献

Studies on La0.7Sr0.3Co1−xMnxO3 (x=0-0.5) compounds evidence that the interaction between Mn and Co ions in this system is antiferromagnetic super-exchange and not ferromagnetic (FM) double-exchange (DE). As a result, antiferromagnetism and magnetic glassiness develop steadily with increasing Mn content and the system becomes a spin glass at x∼0.1. Analyses of high-field magnetization data indicate that the system consists of two major phases: a metallic FM phase which magnetically saturates in rather low field, and an insulating non-FM phase which has a linear dependence of magnetization on magnetic field. In the low doping regime, the fraction of the non-FM component expands with temperature at the expense of the FM phase and becomes maximal at TC. Ferromagnetism reappears in highly doped (x≥0.2) compounds due to the presence of DE interaction between the Mn ions. The small volume fraction of the FM phase derived from the M(H) data in high-field region supports the coexistence of insulating and FM behaviors in the highly doped samples.  相似文献

The structural and magnetic properties of Nd0.5−xPrxSr0.5MnO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5) system have been investigated. With the substitution of Pr in Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3, it shows a gradual structure transformation from the Imma orthorhombic symmetry to the tetragonal I4/mcm phase, and the crystallographic transition remains incomplete, even in Pr0.5Sr0.5MnO3. A large bifurcation between zero-field-cooled (ZFC) and field-cooled (FC) susceptibility has been observed below Curie temperature (TC), which is characteristic of coexistence of ferromagnetism (FM) and antiferromagnetism (AFM) at low temperature region. The magnetization of Pr0.5Sr0.5MnO3 is larger than that of Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3, while Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3 with more CE-type AFM shows larger magnetization than Nd0.3Pr0.2Sr0.5MnO3, which mixed with CE-type (majority) and A-type (minority) AFM at low temperature, indicating that the magnetization of Nd0.5−xPrxSr0.5MnO3 system is affected by A-site disorder combined with orbital ordering of A-type AFM and CE-type AFM.  相似文献

We investigate the chemical pressure effect due to P doping in the CeFeAs1−xPxO0.95F0.05(0≤x≤0.4) system. The compound CeFeAsO0.95F0.05 without P doping is on the boundary between antiferromagnet (AFM) and superconductor. The AFM order of Ce3+ local moments causes a significant reentrance behavior in both resistivity and magnetic susceptibility. Upon P doping, Tc increases and reaches a maximum of 21.3 K at x=0.15, and then it is suppressed to lower temperatures. Meanwhile, the AFM order of Ce3+ ions remains nearly the same in the whole doping range (0≤x≤0.4). Our experimental results suggest a competition between superconductivity and Kondo effect in the Ce 1111 system.  相似文献

This study evaluated potential applications of green to yellow-emitting phosphors (Sr1−xSi2O2N2: Eu2+x) in blue pumped white light emitting diodes. Sr1-xSi2O2N2: Eu2+x was synthesized at different Eu2+ doping concentrations at 1450 °C for 5 h under a reducing nitrogen atmosphere containing 5% H2 using a conventional solid reaction method. The X-ray diffraction patterns of the prepared phosphor (Sr1-xSi2O2N2: Eu2+x) were indexed to the SrSi2O2N2 phase and an unknown intermediate phase. The photoluminescence properties of these phosphors (Sr1−xSi2O2N2: Eu2+x) showed that the samples were excited from the UV to visible region due to the strong crystal field splitting of the Eu2+ ion. The emission spectra under excitation of 450 nm showed a bright color at 545-561 nm. The emission intensity increased gradually with increasing Eu2+ doping concentration ratio from 0.05 to 0.15. However, the emission intensity decreased suddenly when the Eu2+ concentration ratio was >0.2. As the doping concentration of Eu2+ was increased, there was a red shift in the continuous emission peak. These results suggest that Sr1-xSi2O2N2: Eu2+x phosphor can be used in blue-pumped white light emitting diodes.  相似文献

The structural, superconducting and magnetic properties of La2Cu1−xZnxO4+δ (0≤x≤0.1) chemically oxidized by NaClO at room temperature were studied. All the samples before and after oxidation are single phase with orthorhombic structure, as indicated by their powder X-ray diffraction analysis. The iodometric titration results indicate that Zn-substituted La2Cu1−xZnxO4 is more favorable for the insertion of the excess oxygen, as compared to the Zn-free La2CuO4. The Tc suppression rate resulting from Zn substitution in La2Cu1−xZnxO4+δ is −12.4 K/%. The effective magnetic moment induced by the non-magnetic Zn ion is the order of one Bohr magneton, which decreases with increasing the Zn concentrations in the range examined. The latter two results are qualitatively well consistent with those obtained in La2−xSrxCu1−yZnyO4 with the Sr optimal doping. This reveals that the non-magnetic Zn ions play the same role in both of the La2Cu1−xZnxO4+δ with the excess oxygen content of about 0.1 and the La2−xSrxCu1−yZnyO4 with the Sr optimal doping.  相似文献

Nb-sheathed Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 superconducting wires have been fabricated using the powder-in-tube (PIT) method for the first time and the superconducting properties of the wires have been investigated. The transition temperature (Tc) of the Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires is confirmed to be as high as 35.3 K. Most importantly, Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires exhibit a very weak Jc-field dependence behavior even the temperature is very close to Tc. The upper critical field Hc2(0) value can exceed 140 T, surpassing those of MgB2 and all the low temperature superconductors. Such high Hc2 and superior Jc-field performance make the 122 phase SrKFeAs wire conductors a powerful competitor potentially useful in very high field applications.  相似文献

In this paper, effects of lead doping on the lattice response and phase transitions of Sr1−xPbxBi2Nb2O9 (x=0.0-0.5 in steps of 0.1) ferroelectric ceramics are reported. It is observed that structure attains more tetragonality with doping of lead up to 40%. Increased orthorhombic distortion is observed for undoped SBN and 50 at.% lead substituted SBN. Phase transitions for all samples were studied using Curie temperature measurements and are explained in terms of lattice response of these ceramics. Sample with x=0.5 shows decreased tetragonal strain and Curie temperature. Relationship of polarization with lattice response is discussed.  相似文献

The magnetization and electrical resistivity of Mn3−xFexSnC (0.5≤x≤1.3) were measured to investigate the behavior of the complicated magnetic phase transitions and electronic transport properties from 5 to 300 K. The results obtained demonstrate that Fe doping at the Mn sites of Mn3SnC induces a more complicated magnetic phase transition than that in its parent phase Mn3SnC from a paramagnetic (PM) state to a ferrimagnetic (FI) state consisting of antiferromagnetic (AFM) and ferromagnetic (FM) components, while, with the change of Fe-doped content and magnetic field, there is a competition between the AFM component and FM component in the FI state. Both the Curie temperature (TC) and the saturated magnetization Ms increase with increasing x. The FM component region becomes broader with further increasing Fe-doped content x. The external magnetic field easily creates a saturated FM state (and increased TC) when . Fe doping quenches the negative thermal expansion (NTE) behavior from 200 to 250 K reported in Mn3SnC.  相似文献

We report spin polarization P of Ru2−xFexCrSi Heusler alloys by the Andreev reflection technique. Ru2−xFexCrSi with L21-type structure and saturation magnetic moment of per formula unit is theoretically predicted to be half-metals in the wide range of the composition x. We had clarified that the experimental results of saturation magnetic moment in Fe-rich compounds had coincided with the theoretical prediction. Therefore, we have measured the differential conductance of Ru2−xFexCrSi/Pb planar-type junctions. The P value of Ru2−xFexCrSi was determined by fitting the differential conductance with the modified Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk theory. We have found that the behavior of P for Ru2−xFexCrSi was independent of the composition x in the Fe-rich region; P=0.53 for both of x=1.5 and 1.7. The spin polarization is the similar value to Co-based Heusler alloys.  相似文献

Single crystals of underdoped Ba(Fe1−xCox)2As2 were detwinned by applying uniaxial pressure. The anisotropic in-plane resistivity was measured using the Montgomery method without releasing pressure. The resistivity along the a-axis shows metallic behavior down to 5 K, while the resistivity along the b-axis shows an insulator-like behavior in some temperature range. Annealing the sample radically reduces the residual resistivity for x=0, and at the same time the anisotropy becomes much smaller at low temperatures.  相似文献

Fe-doped (Ba1−xSrx)TiO3 ceramics were prepared by solid-state reaction, and ferromagnetism was realized at room temperature. The microstructure and magnetism were modified by the Sr concentration control (0≤x≤75 at%) at a fixed Fe concentration, and the relevant magnetic exchange mechanism was discussed. All the samples are shown to have a single perovskite structure. When increasing the Sr concentration, the phase structure is transformed from a hexagonal perovskite into a cubic perovskite, with a monotonic decrease in lattice parameters induced by ionic size effect. The room-temperature ferromagnetism is expected to originate from the super-exchange interactions between Fe3+ on pentahedral and octahedral Ti sites mediated by the O2− ions. The increase in Sr addition modifies two main influencing factors in magnetic properties: the ratio of pentahedral to octahedral Fe3+ and the concentration of oxygen vacancies, leading to a gradually enhanced saturation magnetization. The highest value, obtained for Fe-doped (Ba0.25Sr0.75)TiO3, is an order of magnitude higher than that of the Fe-doped BaTiO3 system with similar Fe concentration and preparation conditions, which may indicate (Ba1−xSrx)TiO3 as a more suitable matrix material for multiferroic research.  相似文献

The magnetic behavior of the FeInxCr2−xSe4 system (with x=0.0, 0.2 and 0.4) has been investigated by magnetic and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Hyperfine parameters indicate that iron is in the Fe2+ oxidation state, with a minor (∼9%) Fe3+ fraction, located at different layers in the structure. Low-field magnetization curves as a function of temperature showed that the antiferromagnetic (AFM) order temperature is TN=208(2) K for FeCr2Se4 and decreases to 174(3) K for FeIn0.4Cr1.6Se4. The effective magnetic moment μeff decreases with increasing In contents, and shows agreement with the expected values from the contribution of Fe2+ (5D) and Cr3+ (4F) electronic states. A second, low-temperature transition is observed at TG∼13 K, which has been assigned to the onset of a glassy state.  相似文献

The electronic, structural and magnetic phase diagram of the colossal magnetoresistive Sm1−xSrxMnO3 (0.16≤х≤0.67) manganites is constructed on the basis of their systematic studies by high-resolution neutron powder diffraction. It is shown the tendency of researched system to formation of the phase-separated states on crystallographic as well as, in the even greater extent, on magnetic level. A clear correlation between fine specific features and temperature evolution of crystal structures, spin ordering of the manganese ions, and the physical properties of the samarium-strontium series of manganites obtained from temperature magnetic and transport measurements is demonstrated. It was found that ground state of Sm-Sr manganites shows very various physical properties depending first of all on the doping level х and, for given х, determined by two distortion parameters, namely, the average A-cation size <rA> and the local A-cation size mismatch σ2.  相似文献

We have investigated the crystal structure, magnetization and magnetoresistance of the double perovskite compounds Sr2(Fe1−xVx)MoO6 (0≤x≤0.1). The lattice constants and the cation ordering decrease monotonously with the V content. The Curie temperature, saturation magnetization and low field magnetoresistance of the compounds decrease with increasing x due to the reduced degree of ordering. The resistivity of Sr2FeMoO6 and lightly doped samples shows semiconductive behavior, while the samples with higher doping levels exhibit a semiconductor-metal transition around 80 K.  相似文献
