The simple extraction-spectrophotometric procedure is proposed in this work for the determination of 2-(thiocyanomethylthiol)benzothiazole (TCMTB) in chrome tanning liquors after its breakdown to 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (MBT). The sample (50mul) was 4-fold diluted with deionized water and the conversion of TCMTB to MBT was obtained with cysteine (400 mul, 0.1 moll(-1)) in alkaline conditions (pH 10). After acidification to pH 2.5 (100 mul phosphoric acid, 2 moll(-1)), the extraction was carried out with 800 mul of ethyl acetate, containing 0.2% of beta-mercaptoethanol and absorbance was measured at 324 nm with the cut-off filter 295 nm. To avoid possible errors due to MBT presence in the sample, this same sample was taken for blank, but the reagents were added in form of one acid solution (omitting the conversion step). The calibration range was 10-120 mugml(-1) of TCMTB with the regression coefficient 0.9999, the quantitation limit was 2.80 mugml(-1) and the within day precision was 3.34 and 0.20%, respectively, for 10 and for 100 mugml(-1) of TCMTB. The results obtained in the analysis of the three industrial liquor samples by the proposed procedure were in a good agreement with the results obtained using liquid chromatography method.  相似文献

A sensitive and rapid method for the determination of lanthanum, europium and ytterbium by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) after solid-liquid extraction with microcrystalline naphthalene was developed. Analytes could be quantitatively adsorbed on tribromoarsenazo-cetylpyridinium bromide-naphthalene (TBA-CPB-naphthalene) packed in a column and determined by ICP-AES after desorption with 3 moll(-1) HCl. The effect of various experimental parameters, such as pH, reagent amounts, naphthalene concentrations and diverse ions, on the determination of interesting elements were investigated in detail. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the detection limits of this method for La(3+), Eu(3+) and Yb(3+) were 1.3-8.6 ngml(-1), and the relative standard deviations obtained for nine replicate determinations at a concentration of 0.5 mugml(-1) were 1.4-2.2%. The proposed method has been applied in the analysis of NIES CRM No. 8 vehicle exhaust particulates and GBW 07602 GSV-1 bush branches and leaves for La, Eu and Yb, and La in NIST SRM 1752 citrus leaves samples; the analytical results were in good agreement with reference values.  相似文献

A very simple, ultra-sensitive and fairly selective non-extractive spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of lead with 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) has been developed. DMTD reacts in slightly acidic (0.0015-0.01 M HCl) aquatic media with lead(II) to give a greenish-yellow chelate, which has an absorption maximum at 375 nm. The reaction is instantaneous and absorbance remains stable for 24 h. The average molar absorption coefficient and Sandell's sensitivity were found to be 4.93x10(4) lmol(-1)cm(-1) and 15 ngcm(-2) of Pb, respectively. Linear calibration graphs were obtained for 0.1-40 mugml(-1) of Pb; the stoichiometric composition of the chelate is 1:2 (Pb-DMTD). The interference from over 50 cations, anions and complexing agents has been studied at 1 mugml(-1) of Pb. The method developed was used successfully in the determination of lead in several standard reference materials (alloys and steels), environmental waters (potable and polluted), biological samples (human blood and urine), soil samples, solutions containing both lead(II) and lead(IV) and complex synthetic mixtures. The synthesis and characterization of a new N3O donor ligand N-benzyl-N-((6-pivaloylamido-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (bpppa) is reported. Treatment of bpppa with Mn(II)(ClO4)2.6H2O in acetonitrile solution yielded the mononuclear [(bpppa)Mn(CH3CN)(H2O)](ClO4)2 (1) which was characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and a solution magnetic moment measurement. Admixture of equimolar equivalents of bpppa and Mn(II)(ClO4)2.6H2O in methanol solution, followed by addition of 0.5 or 1 equivalents of sodium oxalate, yielded the binuclear complex [{(bpppa)Mn}2([mu]-C2O4)](ClO4)2 (2), which was characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and solid-state magnetic measurements. While 1 is mononuclear, the formation of the binuclear oxalate derivative indicates that use of the bpppa ligand does not enable isolation of a complex that is structurally relevant to a proposed 1:1 Mn(II)-oxalate adduct in the catalytic cycle of the oxalate degrading enzyme oxalate decarboxylase.  相似文献

Flame atomic absorption spectrometry was used for the determination of Mn in biological material following preconcentration by precipitation. The proposed preconcentration method is based on the continuous precipitation of Mn(II) as hydrated Mn(IV) oxide in ammonia buffer and dissolution of the precipitate with hydrogen oxalate or dilute nitric acid. The sensitivity of the Mn determination is increased by the presence of hydrogen peroxide, which raises the rate of oxidation of Mn(II) to Mn(IV). By using a time-based technique (at a sample loading rate of 4 ml min−1) a concentration factor of up to 55 was obtained using 24 ml of sample. The effect of concurrent cations was investigated; the most adverse effect was exerted by Fe(III), which interfered at concentrations 50 times higher than that of Mn(II).  相似文献

A kinetic method for the determination of cysteine on flow injection system is described. Cysteine was found as a catalyst for the complexation reaction of Cu(II) with an ultra sensitive colorimetric reagent of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis (4-N-trimethylammino-phenyl) porphyrin (TTMAPP) (varepsilon=4.8x10(5)cm(-1)M(-1) at 433nm), which was used as the indicator reaction in this paper. Soret band of either the porphyrin or the produced complex (varepsilon=4.6x10(5)cm(-1)M(-1) at 411nm) can be used for detection. The continuous flow injection system greatly enhanced the analytic precision and efficiency of the kinetic method, giving a relative standard deviation of 0.73% for a 0.1mugml(-1) cysteine with 10 injections at a throughput of 30h(-1). The detection limits (3S/N) in this case was 15ngml(-1) and the working dynamic range was over 25ngml(-1) to 1mugml(-1). Sugars, organic acids and amino acids that are possible in coexistence with cysteine could be tolerated at high concentrations. This method was critically compared with the Ellman's reagent in the determinations of cysteine contents of three pharmaceutical injections for hepatic diseases and one permanent wave agent and showed better applicability in the respect of matrix interferences.  相似文献

Three heterometallic Cr-Mn compounds, {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(H2O) [Cr(phen)(CN)4]}n.n H2O.2n CH3OH, (1), {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(H2O)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]}n.2n H2O x n CH3OH, (2), and {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(bpy)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]}n, (3) (ox = oxalate), containing cyanide and oxalate bridges based on building blocks [Cr(L)(CN)4]- (L = phen and 2,2'-bipyridine) have been prepared. A new approach was first employed to synthesize ox-bridged compounds via facile oxidation-hydrolysis reactions of diaminomaleonitrile. X-ray crystallography revealed that the structures of 1 and 2 are similar, where cyano-bridged corrugated ladderlike chains are further connected through bis-bidentate oxalato bridges to unique two-dimensional layered structures. Of note is that the introduction of 2,2'-bipyridine led to an interesting cluster-based chainlike compound (3) with cyano-bridged squares [Mn2Cr2] extended by ox bridges. Magnetic studies show antiferromagnetic (AF) interaction between cyano-bridged Cr(III)-Mn(II) and ox-bridged Mn(II)-Mn(II) ions, with the result that 1 and 2 exhibit AF ordering with spin-flop behaviors below 18 and 19 K, respectively.  相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of the compounds of formula [Fe (III)(sal 2trien)] 2[Mn (II) 2(ox) 3].4H 2O.C 3H 7NO ( 1) and [In (III)(sal 2trien)] 2[Mn (II) 2(ox) 3].3H 2O.CH 3OH (2) are reported. The structure presents a homometallic 2D honeycomb anionic layer formed by Mn (II) ions linked through oxalate ligands and a cationic double layer of [Fe(sal 2trien)] (+) or [In(sal 2trien)] (+) complexes intercalated between the 2D oxalate network. The magnetic properties and M?ssbauer spectroscopy of 1 indicate the coexistence of a magnetic ordering of the Mn(II) oxalate network that behaves as a weak ferromagnet and a gradual spin crossover of the intercalated [Fe(sal 2trien)] (+) complexes.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and physical properties of a novel series of oxalate-based bimetallic magnets obtained by using the Ir(ppy)2(bpy)]+ cation as a template of the bimetallic [M(II)M(III)(ox)3]- network are reported. The compounds can be formulated as [Ir(ppy)2(bpy)][M(II)Cr(III)(ox)3] x 0.5 H2O (M(II) = Ni, Mn, Co, Fe, and Zn) and [Ir(ppy)2(bpy)]-[M(II)Fe(III)(ox)3] x 0.5 H2O (M(II) = Fe, Mn) and crystallize in the chiral cubic space group P4(1)32 or P4(3)32. They show the well-known 3D chiral structure formed by M(II) and M(III) ions connected through oxalate anions with [Ir(ppy)2(bpy)]+ cations and water molecules in the holes left by the oxalate network. The M(II)Cr(III) compounds behave as soft ferromagnets with ordering temperatures up to 13 K, while the Mn(II)Fe(III) and Fe(II)Fe(III) compounds behave as a weak ferromagnet and a ferrimagnet, respectively, with ordering temperatures of 31 and 28 K. These values represent the highest ordering temperatures so far reported in the family of 3D chiral magnets based on bimetallic oxalate complexes.  相似文献

Two novel metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)--[Mn(titmb)(N3)2] x 1.5H2O (1) and [Mn3(titmb)2(C2O4)3(H2O)] x 10H2O (2)--were obtained by reactions of the flexible tripodal ligand 1,3,5-tris(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene (titmb) with Mn(OAc)2 x 4H2O, together with NaN3 and K2C2O4, respectively. The structures of these MOFs were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal data for 1 were as follows: monoclinic, C2/c, a = 20.956(13) A, b = 9.884(6) A, c = 24.318(14) A, beta = 95.87(5) degrees, Z = 8. The crystal data for 2 were as follows: triclinic, P1, a = 12.400(9) A, b = 16.827(12) A, c = 17.196(11) A, alpha = 66.35(5), beta = 95.87(5) degrees, gamma = 71.03(6), Z = 2. Complex 1 is a novel noninterpenetrating three-dimensional (3D) framework, in which the azide ligand connects Mn(II) atoms in an end-to-end (EE) mode to give [Mn-N-N-N-]n infinite one-dimensional (1D) chains, and complex 2 has a two-dimensional (2D) network structure in which the Mn(II) ions are linked by the oxalate anions to form 1D [Mn(C2O4)]n chains. Each titmb in these two complexes connects three metal atoms and serves as a three-connecting ligand. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 were investigated. The results showed that the antiferromagnetic interactions occurred between the Mn(II) ions linked by the azide ligands in complex 1, and those linked by the oxalate anions and the carboxylate in syn-anti coordination mode in complex 2. The entirely different structures of complexes 1 and 2, on one hand, indicate that the azide and the oxalate ligands affected the structures of MOFs greatly, and on the other hand, reveals the potential applications of MOFs with the azide and oxalate ligands, which are efficient magnetic couplers.  相似文献

A simple, sensitive and rapid flow-injection chemiluminescence method has been developed for the determination of ferulic acid based on the chemiluminescence reaction of ferulic acid with rhodamine 6G and ceric sulfate in sulphuric acid medium. Strong chemiluminescence signal was observed when ferulic acid was injected into the acidic ceric sulfate solution in a flow-cell. The present method allowed the determination of ferulic acid in the concentration range of 8.0x10(-6) to 1.0x10(-4)moll(-1) and the detection limit for ferulic acid was 8.7x10(-9)moll(-1). The relative standard deviation was 2.4% for 10 replicate analyses of 1.0x10(-5)moll(-1) ferulic acid. The proposed method was applied to the determination of ferulic acid in Taita Beauty Essence samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Flow injection configurations were developed for the individual determination of l-cysteine and l-cystine and for the mixture of both analytes. The method is based on the reaction of l-cysteine with tris(2,2'-bipyridyl) ruthenium (II) and peroxydisulphate under UV irradiation to produce chemiluminescence. Cystine is determined after reduction to cysteine in a copper-coated cadmium reductor mini-column in the flow system. The inclusion of a selection valve in the configuration allows the successive determination of the two analytes. Calibration was linear between 2x10(-6) and 5x10(-4) moll(-1) for cysteine and between 1x10(-6) and 2x10(-4) moll(-1) for cystine. When applied to pharmaceutical formulations, the procedure was free from interferences from common excipients. The results obtained for the assay of commercial formulations compared well with those obtained by an official method and demonstrated good accuracy and precision.  相似文献

The reaction of K3[M(III)(ox)3].3H2O [M = V (1), Cr; ox = oxalate], Mn(II)/V(II), and [N(n-Bu)4]Br in water leads to the isolation of 2-D V-based coordination polymers, [[N(n-Bu)4][Mn(II)V(III)(ox)3]]n (2), [[N(n-Bu)4][V(II)Cr(III)(ox)3]]n (3), [[N(n-Bu)4][V(II)V(III)(ox)3]]n (4), and an intermediate in the formation of 4, [[N(n-Bu)4][V(II)V(III)(ox)3(H2O)2]]n.2.5H2O (4a), while 1-D [V(II)(ox)(H2O)2]n (5) is obtained by using Na2ox and [V(OH2)6]SO4 in water. The structures of 1-5 have been investigated by single crystal and/or powder X-ray crystallography. In 1, V(III) is coordinated with three oxalate dianions as an approximately D3 symmetric, trigonally distorted octahedron. 1 is paramagnetic [mu(eff) = 2.68 mu(B) at 300 K, D = 3.84 cm(-1) (D/k(B) = 5.53 K), theta = -1.11 K, and g = 1.895], indicating an S = 1 ground state. 2 exhibits intralayer ferromagnetic coupling below 20 K, but does not magnetically order above 2 K, and 3 shows a strong antiferromagnetic interaction between V(II), S = 3/2 and Cr(III), S = 3/2 ions (theta = -116 K) within the 2-D layers. 4 and 4a magnetically order as ferrimagnets at T(c)'s, taken as the onset of magnetization, of 11 and 30 K, respectively. The 2 K remanent magnetizations are 2440 and 2230 emu.Oe mol(-1) and the coercive fields are 1460 and 4060 Oe for 4 and 4a, respectively. Both 4 and 4a clearly show frequency dependence, indicative of spin-glass-like behavior. The glass transition temperatures were at 6.3 and 27 K, respectively, for 4 and 4a. 1-D 5 exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling of -4.94 cm(-1) (H = -2Jsigma(i=1)n.S(i-1) - gmu(B)sigma(i=0)(n)H.S(i)) between the V(II) ions.  相似文献

Solutions of the complexes of hypervalent manganese, [Mn(III)(C(2)O(4))(3)](3)(-) (in oxalate buffers), [Mn(IV)(bigH)(3)](4+) (in biguanide buffers), and [(bipy)(2)Mn(III)(O)(2)Mn(IV)(bipy)(2)](3+) (in bipyridyl buffers) may be reduced by s(2) center reductants In(I), Sn(II), and Ge(II), yielding Mn(II) quantitatively. In all cases, rates are determined by the initial act of electron transfer, giving an s(1) transient (In(II), Sn(III), or Ge(III)); subsequent steps are rapid and kinetically silent. The In(I)-Mn(III) and Ge(II)-Mn(III) reactions are inhibited by added oxalate, whereas the Sn(II)-(Mn(III)Mn(IV)) reaction is strongly accelerated by Cl(-). The In(I)-Mn(IV) reaction is complicated by formation of a 1:1 addition compound In(I).Mn(IV). We find no evidence for two-unit steps in any of these systems.  相似文献

A simple and rapid spectrophotometric method for the determination of oxalate ion was established by the fading of a colored complex between N,N'-diethyl-N,N'-[[4,4'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthalene]-3,3'-diyl]bisbenzamide and copper(II). Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range of 0.1 - 2.0 microg cm(-3) for oxalate ion, with an effective molar absorptivity at 533 nm and the relative standard deviation being 8.0 x 10(3) dm(3) mol(-1) cm(-1) and 1.0% (n = 5), respectively. This proposed method has excellent reproducibility, and was applied to recovery tests of oxalate ion in tap water and human urine; the results were satisfactory. This is suggested that the method is based on the reaction of copper(II) to copper(I) with oxalate ion.  相似文献

A new, simple and inexpensive kinetic catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of oxalate is described. The method is based on an activation effect of oxalate on a catalytic effect of iron(II) on the oxidation of iodide by bromate. The reaction is monitored by measuring the absorbance of triiodide ion at lambda max = 352 nm. A calibration graph was obtained from 0.10 - 7.0 microg cm(-3) of oxalate with a detection limit of 0.080 microg cm(-3). The standard deviations for ten replicate determinations of 0.50, 1.0 and 5.0 microg cm(-3) of oxalate were 4.0, 2.6 and 1.8%, respectively. The applicability of the method was demonstrated by the determination of oxalate ion in real samples.  相似文献

A flow injection procedure for the sequential spectrophotometric determination of iron(II) and iron(III) in pharmaceutical products is described. The method is based on the catalytic effect of iron(II) on the oxidation of iodide by bromate at pH = 4.0. The reaction was monitored spectrophotometrically by measuring the absorbance of produced triiodide ion at 352 nm. The activating effect for the catalysis of iron(II) was extremely exhibited in the presence of oxalate ions, while oxalate acted as a masking agent for iron(III). The iron(III) in a sample solution could be determined by passing through a Cd-Hg reductor column introduced in the FIA system to reduce iron(III) to iron(II), which allows total iron determination. Under the optimum conditions, iron(II) and iron(III) could be determined over the range of 0.05 - 5.0 and 0.10 - 5.0 microg ml(-1), respectively with a sampling rate of 17 +/- 5 h(-1). The experimental limits of detection were 0.03 and 0.04 microg ml(-1) for iron(II) and iron(III), respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the speciation of iron in pharmaceutical products.  相似文献

A direct spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of sulphate, based on its ability to catalyse the slow reaction between Methylthymol Blue and zirconium in slightly aged solution. The procedure is operated in the same way as a normal spectrophotometric method but with stricter control of timing. The interference of 100-fold excesses of 40 other ions was studied. Of these, Ce(III), Sr, Fe(III), Th, Sn(II), U(V), Mn(II), Sb(III), Se(IV), Bi(III), Te(IV), SO(3)(2-), F(-), PO(4)(3-), AsO(4)(3-), S(2-), tartrate, oxalate and citrate interfered. Cationic interferences may be removed by cation-exchange. The interference of equimolar ratios of arsenate, fluoride and phosphate may be removed by preliminary treatment with magnesium oxide. Sulphate may be determined in the range 0.1-2.4 ppm by the recommended procedure with a net molar absorptivity of 2.0 x 10(4) at 586 nm. The colour development time is 60 min.  相似文献

Two new cyano-bridged heterobinuclear complexes, [Mn(II)(phen)2Cl][Fe(III)(bpb)(CN)2] x 0.5CH3CH2OH x 1.5H2O (1) and [Mn(II)(phen)2Cl][Cr(III)(bpb)(CN)2] x 2H2O (2) [phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; bpb(2-) = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)benzenate], and four novel azido-bridged Mn(II) dimeric complexes, [Mn2(phen)4(mu(1,1)-N3)2][M(III)(bpb)(CN)2]2 x H2O [M = Fe (3), Cr (4), Co (5)] and [Mn2(phen)4(mu(1,3)-N3)(N3)2]BPh4 x 0.5H2O (6), have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and magnetic studies. Complexes 1 and 2 comprise [Mn(phen)2Cl]+ and [M(bpb)(CN)2]- units connected by one cyano ligand of [M(bpb)(CN)2]-. Complexes 3-5 are doubly end-on (EO) azido-bridged Mn(II) binuclear complexes with two [M(bpb)(CN)2]- molecules acting as charge-compensating anions. However, the Mn(II) ions in complex 6 are linked by a single end-to-end (EE) azido bridging ligand with one large free BPh4(-) group as the charge-balancing anion. The magnetic coupling between Mn(II) and Fe(III) or Cr(III) in complexes 1 and 2 was found to be antiferromagnetic with J(MnFe) = -2.68(3) cm(-1) and J(MnCr) = -4.55(1) cm(-1) on the basis of the Hamiltonian H = -JS(Mn)S(M) (M = Fe or Cr). The magnetic interactions between two Mn(II) ions in 3-5 are ferromagnetic in nature with the magnetic coupling constants of 1.15(3), 1.05(2), and 1.27(2) cm(-1) (H = -JS(Mn1)S(Mn2)), respectively. The single EE azido-bridged dimeric complex 6 manifests antiferromagnetic interaction with J = -2.29(4) cm(-1) (H = -JS(Mn1)S(Mn2)). Magneto-structural correlationship on the EO azido-bridged Mn(II) dimers has been investigated.  相似文献

Preconcentration of Cd(II), Cu(II), Mn(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) in saline matrices on Amberlite XAD-4 resins coated with ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (APDC) and piperidine dithiocarbamate (pipDTC) and subsequent determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry were studied. Parameters such as effect of pH, effect of HNO(3) concentration on elution of metals from resin were studied. The results show that Amberlite XAD-4 coated with APDC was more efficient in the recovery of metal ions compared with Amberlite XAD-4 coated with pipDTC, in the concentration range of 0.1-200 mug l(-1), for 1 g of Amberlite XAD-4 coated resin. The detection limits for Cd(II), Cu(II), Mn(II), Ni(II), Pb(II), Zn(II) are 0.1, 0.4, 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.5 mug l(-1), respectively, for resin coated with APDC and 0.7, 1.0, 0.8, 0.9, 1.7 and 1.2 mug l(-1) for resin coated with pipDTC. The effect of diverse ions on the determination of aforesaid metals was studied. The method was applied for the determination of trace metal ions in artificial sea water and natural water samples.
