We establish necessary optimality conditions for variational problems with a Lagrangian depending on a combined Caputo derivative of variable fractional order. The endpoint of the integral is free, and thus transversality conditions are proved. Several particular cases are considered illustrating the new results.  相似文献

This paper presents a new method for validating existence and uniqueness of the solution of an initial value problems for fractional differential equations. An algorithm selecting a stepsize and computing a priori constant enclosure of the solution is proposed. We propose a tensor structured preconditioner for the tensor train GMRES algorithm (or TT-GMRES for short) to approximate the solution of the all-at-once formulation of time-dependent fractional partial differential equations discretized in time by linear multistep formulas used in boundary value form and in space by finite volumes.Numerical experiments show that the proposed preconditioner is efficient for very large problems and is competitive, in particular with respect to the AMEn algorithm.  相似文献

The present paper is concerned with the spectral analysis of a transport-like operator derived from a model introduced by Rotenberg describing the growth of a cell population. Each cell of this population is distinguished by its degree of maturity μ and its maturation velocity v. The biological boundaries of μ = 0 and μ = a (a > 0) are fixed and tightly coupled through mitosis. At mitosis daughter cells and mother cells are related by a general reproduction rule which covers all known biological ones. We first discuss in detail the spectrum of the streaming operator for smooth and partly smooth boundary conditions. Next, we discuss the existence and nonexistence of eigenvalues of the transport operator in the half plane {λ ∈ ℂ : Reλ > where denotes the spectral bound of the streaming operator. In particular, the strict monotonicity of the leading eigenvalue (when it exists) of the transport operator with respect to different parameters of the equation is also considered. We close the paper by describing in detail the various essential spectra of the transport operator for wide classes of collision and boundary operators.  相似文献

The problem of the construction of an object functioning in the regime of optimum performance at the design stage is reduced to the solution of the problem of multicriterion optimization, where the quality criteria are chosen to be its most essential characteristics (parameters). At the same time in all methods of multicriterion optimization the vector quality criterion is considered basically in the linear Euclidean space. Actually, in most cases, the criterion space is non-Euclidean - it is curved. Therefore, such setting cannot give results adequately reflecting the processes running in real systems.In order for the design system to really satisfy the optimality requirements the authors of the given paper offer an absolutely new approach to the solution of the problems of multicriterion optimization based on the definition of the quality criteria space and on finding an invariant corresponding to the distance between any two points of that space.The idea of the study of the metric properties of the quality criteria space and their use in solving problems of multicriterion optimization was offered in the work [1]. But that idea, due to its complexity, has not been completely realized until now. When solving such problems the quality criteria space was automatically identified with the Euclidean space with corresponding metrics. In the general case this could not give results adequately reflecting the processes occurring in real systems.In the present paper metric properties of space criteria are studied for the first time, using as the main instrument the mathematical apparatus of tensor analysis, Riemannian geometry, differential equations in partial derivatives etc. Boundary problems relative to the components of the metric tensor of the n-dimensional space of the phenomenon states enabling to determine its metric properties are posed. The knowledge of the metric tensor furthers the objective appraisal of the phenomenon state and the definition of the optimal state.  相似文献

This article deals with derivatives for set-valued maps that take values in ordered vector spaces, in particular it concerns about the relationship between the epiderivatives of a set-valued map and its associated map of infima. When the image space is a real separable Hilbert space ordered by an orthonormal basis, by using a variational technique based on a decoupling of the ordering cone into half-spaces, we show that both epiderivatives coincide under certain hypothesis of compactness and stability. Furthermore we obtain some computation formulas for these derivatives in terms of associated scalar set-valued maps.  相似文献

The Dirichlet problem for a system of singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion parabolic equations in a rectangle is considered. The higher order derivatives of the equations are multiplied by a perturbation parameter ?2, where ? takes arbitrary values in the interval (0, 1]. When ? vanishes, the system of parabolic equations degenerates into a system of ordinary differential equations with respect to t. When ? tends to zero, a parabolic boundary layer with a characteristic width ? appears in a neighborhood of the boundary. Using the condensing grid technique and the classical finite difference approximations of the boundary value problem, a special difference scheme is constructed that converges ?-uniformly at a rate of O(N ?2ln2 N + N 0 ?1 , where \(N = \mathop {\min }\limits_s N_s \), N s + 1 and N 0 + 1 are the numbers of mesh points on the axes x s and t, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we give the notion of M-proximal mapping, an extension of P-proximal mapping given in [X.P. Ding, F.Q. Xia, A new class of completely generalized quasi-variational inclusions in Banach spaces, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 147 (2002) 369–383], for a nonconvex, proper, lower semicontinuous and subdifferentiable functional on Banach space and prove its existence and Lipschitz continuity. Further, we consider a system of generalized implicit variational inclusions in Banach spaces and show its equivalence with a system of implicit Wiener–Hopf equations using the concept of M-proximal mappings. Using this equivalence, we propose a new iterative algorithm for the system of generalized implicit variational inclusions. Furthermore, we prove the existence of solution of the system of generalized implicit variational inclusions and discuss the convergence and stability analysis of the iterative algorithm.  相似文献
