We prove that on smooth bounded pseudoconvex Hartogs domains in \(\mathbb {C}^2\) compactness of the \(\overline{\partial }\)-Neumann operator is equivalent to compactness of all Hankel operators with symbols smooth on the closure of the domain.  相似文献

We study isometric cohomogeneity one actions on the \((n+1)\)-dimensional Minkowski space \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) up to orbit-equivalence. We give examples of isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) whose orbit spaces are non-Hausdorff. We show that there exist isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\), \(n \ge 3\), which are orbit-equivalent on the complement of an n-dimensional degenerate subspace \(\mathbb {W}^n\) of \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) and not orbit-equivalent on \(\mathbb {W}^n\). We classify isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^2\) and \(\mathbb {L}^3\) up to orbit-equivalence.  相似文献

Let \(\text {Bl}_{\mathbb {P}^1} \mathbb {P}^n\) be a Kähler manifold obtained by blowing up a complex projective space \(\mathbb {P}^n\) along a line \(\mathbb {P}^1\). We prove that \(\text {Bl}_{\mathbb {P}^1} \mathbb {P}^n\) is slope unstable with respect to any polarisation, and hence, it does not admit constant scalar curvature Kähler metrics in any rational Kähler class.  相似文献

In this paper, we study \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over the ring \(R=\mathbb {Z}_4+u\mathbb {Z}_4\) where \(u^{2}=1\), for \(\lambda =3+2u\) and \(2+3u\). Two new Gray maps from R to \(\mathbb {Z}_4^{3}\) are defined with the goal of obtaining new linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\). The Gray images of \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R are determined. We then conducted a computer search and obtained many \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R whose \(\mathbb {Z}_4\)-images have better parameters than currently best-known linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\).  相似文献

We consider the problem
$$\begin{aligned} -\Delta u+\left( V_{\infty }+V(x)\right) u=|u|^{p-2}u,\quad u\in H_{0} ^{1}(\Omega ), \end{aligned}$$
where \(\Omega \) is either \(\mathbb {R}^{N}\) or a smooth domain in \(\mathbb {R} ^{N}\) with unbounded boundary, \(N\ge 3,\) \(V_{\infty }>0,\) \(V\in \mathcal {C} ^{0}(\mathbb {R}^{N}),\) \(\inf _{\mathbb {R}^{N}}V>-V_{\infty }\) and \(2<p<\frac{2N}{N-2}\). We assume V is periodic in the first m variables, and decays exponentially to zero in the remaining ones. We also assume that \(\Omega \) is periodic in the first m variables and has bounded complement in the other ones. Then, assuming that \(\Omega \) and V are invariant under some suitable group of symmetries on the last \(N-m\) coordinates of \(\mathbb {R}^{N}\), we establish existence and multiplicity of sign-changing solutions to this problem. We show that, under suitable assumptions, there is a combined effect of the number of periodic variables and the symmetries of the domain on the number of sign-changing solutions to this problem. This number is at least \(m+1\)

In convex geometry, the Blaschke surface area measure on the boundary of a convex domain can be interpreted in terms of the complexity of approximating polyhedra. This approach is formulated in the holomorphic setting to establish an alternate interpretation of Fefferman’s hypersurface measure on boundaries of strongly pseudoconvex domains in \(\mathbb {C}^2\). In particular, it is shown that Fefferman’s measure can be recovered from the Bergman kernel of the domain.  相似文献

Let \(\Omega \) be a star-shaped bounded domain in \((\mathbb {S}^{n}, ds^{2})\) with smooth boundary. In this article, we give a sharp lower bound for the first non-zero eigenvalue of the Steklov eigenvalue problem in \(\Omega .\) This result extends a result given by Kuttler and Sigillito (SIAM Rev 10:368–370, 1968) for a star-shaped bounded domain in \(\mathbb {R}^2\). Further we also obtain a two sided bound for the eigenvalues of the Steklov problem on a ball in \(\mathbb {R}^n\) with rotationally invariant metric and with bounded radial curvature.  相似文献

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. We define a function \(I:\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\rightarrow \mathbb {N}\) as follows: I(f) is the number of height isotopy classes of embeddings such that each rotation number is one. In this paper, we determine the maximal value of the function I equals the n-th Baxter number and the minimal value equals \(2^{n-1}\).  相似文献

For each rank metric code \(\mathcal {C}\subseteq \mathbb {K}^{m\times n}\), we associate a translation structure, the kernel of which is shown to be invariant with respect to the equivalence on rank metric codes. When \(\mathcal {C}\) is \(\mathbb {K}\)-linear, we also propose and investigate other two invariants called its middle nucleus and right nucleus. When \(\mathbb {K}\) is a finite field \(\mathbb {F}_q\) and \(\mathcal {C}\) is a maximum rank distance code with minimum distance \(d<\min \{m,n\}\) or \(\gcd (m,n)=1\), the kernel of the associated translation structure is proved to be \(\mathbb {F}_q\). Furthermore, we also show that the middle nucleus of a linear maximum rank distance code over \(\mathbb {F}_q\) must be a finite field; its right nucleus also has to be a finite field under the condition \(\max \{d,m-d+2\} \geqslant \left\lfloor \frac{n}{2} \right\rfloor +1\). Let \(\mathcal {D}\) be the DHO-set associated with a bilinear dimensional dual hyperoval over \(\mathbb {F}_2\). The set \(\mathcal {D}\) gives rise to a linear rank metric code, and we show that its kernel and right nucleus are isomorphic to \(\mathbb {F}_2\). Also, its middle nucleus must be a finite field containing \(\mathbb {F}_q\). Moreover, we also consider the kernel and the nuclei of \(\mathcal {D}^k\) where k is a Knuth operation.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate Lagrangian submanifolds in the homogeneous nearly Kähler \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\). We introduce and make use of a triplet of angle functions to describe the geometry of a Lagrangian submanifold in \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\). We construct a new example of a flat Lagrangian torus and give a complete classification of all the Lagrangian immersions of spaces of constant sectional curvature. As a corollary of our main result, we obtain that the radius of a round Lagrangian sphere in the homogeneous nearly Kähler \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\) can only be \(\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}\) or \(\frac{4}{\sqrt{3}}\).  相似文献

For a singular Riemannian foliation \(\mathcal {F}\) on a Riemannian manifold M, a curve is called horizontal if it meets the leaves of \(\mathcal {F}\) perpendicularly. For a singular Riemannian foliation \(\mathcal {F}\) on a unit sphere \(\mathbb {S}^{n}\), we show that if \(\mathcal {F}\) satisfies some properties, then the horizontal diameter of \(\mathbb {S}^{n}\) is \(\pi \), i.e., any two points in \(\mathbb {S}^{n}\) can be connected by a horizontal curve of length \(\le \pi \).  相似文献

We consider the Laplacian with attractive Robin boundary conditions,
$$\begin{aligned} Q^\Omega _\alpha u=-\Delta u, \quad \dfrac{\partial u}{\partial n}=\alpha u \text { on } \partial \Omega , \end{aligned}$$
in a class of bounded smooth domains \(\Omega \in \mathbb {R}^\nu \); here \(n\) is the outward unit normal and \(\alpha >0\) is a constant. We show that for each \(j\in \mathbb {N}\) and \(\alpha \rightarrow +\infty \), the \(j\)th eigenvalue \(E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )\) has the asymptotics
$$\begin{aligned} E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )=-\alpha ^2 -(\nu -1)H_\mathrm {max}(\Omega )\,\alpha +{\mathcal O}(\alpha ^{2/3}), \end{aligned}$$
where \(H_\mathrm {max}(\Omega )\) is the maximum mean curvature at \(\partial \Omega \). The discussion of the reverse Faber-Krahn inequality gives rise to a new geometric problem concerning the minimization of \(H_\mathrm {max}\). In particular, we show that the ball is the strict minimizer of \(H_\mathrm {max}\) among the smooth star-shaped domains of a given volume, which leads to the following result: if \(B\) is a ball and \(\Omega \) is any other star-shaped smooth domain of the same volume, then for any fixed \(j\in \mathbb {N}\) we have \(E_j(Q^B_\alpha )>E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )\) for large \(\alpha \). An open question concerning a larger class of domains is formulated.

We study the one-dimensional periodic derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation. This is known to be a completely integrable system, in the sense that there is an infinite sequence of formal integrals of motion \({\textstyle \int }h_k\), \(k\in {\mathbb {Z}}_{+}\). In each \({\textstyle \int }h_{2k}\) the term with the highest regularity involves the Sobolev norm \(\dot{H}^{k}({\mathbb {T}})\) of the solution of the DNLS equation. We show that a functional measure on \(L^2({\mathbb {T}})\), absolutely continuous w.r.t. the Gaussian measure with covariance \(({\mathbb {I}}+(-\varDelta )^{k})^{-1}\), is associated to each integral of motion \({\textstyle \int }h_{2k}\), \(k\ge 1\).  相似文献

In this paper, we study the harmonic equation involving subcritical exponent \((P_{\varepsilon })\): \( \Delta u = 0 \), in \(\mathbb {B}^n\) and \(\displaystyle \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu } + \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2}u = \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2} K u^{\frac{n}{n-2}-\varepsilon }\) on \( \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) where \(\mathbb {B}^n \) is the unit ball in \(\mathbb {R}^n\), \(n\ge 5\) with Euclidean metric \(g_0\), \(\partial \mathbb {B}^n = \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) is its boundary, K is a function on \(\mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) and \(\varepsilon \) is a small positive parameter. We construct solutions of the subcritical equation \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which blow up at two different critical points of K. Furthermore, we construct solutions of \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which have two bubbles and blow up at the same critical point of K.  相似文献

Let \(\omega \) be an unbounded radial weight on \(\mathbb {C}^d\), \(d\ge 1\). Using results related to approximation of \(\omega \) by entire maps, we investigate Volterra type and weighted composition operators defined on the growth space \(\mathcal {A}^\omega (\mathbb {C}^d)\). Special attention is given to the operators defined on the growth Fock spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate solutions of the hyperbolic Poisson equation \(\Delta _{h}u(x)=\psi (x)\), where \(\psi \in L^{\infty }(\mathbb {B}^{n}, {\mathbb R}^n)\) and
$$\begin{aligned} \Delta _{h}u(x)= (1-|x|^2)^2\Delta u(x)+2(n-2)\left( 1-|x|^2\right) \sum _{i=1}^{n} x_{i} \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}}(x) \end{aligned}$$
is the hyperbolic Laplace operator in the n-dimensional space \(\mathbb {R}^n\) for \(n\ge 2\). We show that if \(n\ge 3\) and \(u\in C^{2}(\mathbb {B}^{n},{\mathbb R}^n) \cap C(\overline{\mathbb {B}^{n}},{\mathbb R}^n )\) is a solution to the hyperbolic Poisson equation, then it has the representation \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{ h}[\psi ]\) provided that \(u\mid _{\mathbb {S}^{n-1}}=\phi \) and \(\int _{\mathbb {B}^{n}}(1-|x|^{2})^{n-1} |\psi (x)|\,d\tau (x)<\infty \). Here \(P_{h}\) and \(G_{h}\) denote Poisson and Green integrals with respect to \(\Delta _{h}\), respectively. Furthermore, we prove that functions of the form \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{h}[\psi ]\) are Lipschitz continuous.

In this paper we propose to develop harmonic analysis on the Poincaré ball \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\), a model of the \(n\)-dimensional real hyperbolic space. The Poincaré ball \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\) is the open ball of the Euclidean \(n\)-space \(\mathbb {R}^n\) with radius \(t >0\), centered at the origin of \(\mathbb {R}^n\) and equipped with Möbius addition, thus forming a Möbius gyrogroup where Möbius addition in the ball plays the role of vector addition in \(\mathbb {R}^n.\) For any \(t>0\) and an arbitrary parameter \(\sigma \in \mathbb {R}\) we study the \((\sigma ,t)\)-translation, the \((\sigma ,t)\)-convolution, the eigenfunctions of the \((\sigma ,t)\)-Laplace–Beltrami operator, the \((\sigma ,t)\)-Helgason Fourier transform, its inverse transform and the associated Plancherel’s Theorem, which represent counterparts of standard tools, thus, enabling an effective theory of hyperbolic harmonic analysis. Moreover, when \(t \rightarrow +\infty \) the resulting hyperbolic harmonic analysis on \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\) tends to the standard Euclidean harmonic analysis on \(\mathbb {R}^n,\) thus unifying hyperbolic and Euclidean harmonic analysis. As an application we construct diffusive wavelets on \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\).  相似文献

We prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is exactly the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes with automorphism group of even order. Using this characterization, we give examples of known codes, e.g. perfect codes, which have a nontrivial \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\) structure. Moreover, we exhibit some examples of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes which are not \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear. Also, we state that the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is the same as the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes. Finally, we prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_4\)-linear codes which are also \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear is strictly contained in the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes.  相似文献
