Matrix Lie Algebras and Integrable Couplings

Three kinds of higher-dimensional Lie algebras are given which can be used to directly construct integrable couplings of the soliton integrable systems. The relations between the Lie algebras are discussed. Finally, the integrable couplings and the Hamiltonian structure of Giachetti-Johnson hierarchy and a new integrable system are obtained, respectively.

A New Integrable Lattice Hierarchy and Its Two Discrete Integrable Couplings

A new and efficient way is presented for discrete integrable couplings with the help of two semi-direct sum Lie algebras. As its applications, two discrete integrable couplings associated with the lattice equation are worked out. The approach can be used to study other discrete integrable couplings of the discrete hierarchies of solition equations.

Lie Algebras for Constructing Nonlinear Integrable Couplings

Two new explicit Lie algebras are introduced for which the nonlinear integrable couplings of the Giachetti-Johnson (GJ) hierarchy and the Yang hierarchy are obtained, respectively. By employing the variational identity their Hamiltonian structures are also generated. The approach presented in the paper can also
provide nonlinear integrable couplings of other soliton hierarchies of evolution equations.     

Integrable Couplings of the Coupled Burgers Hierarchy

In this letter, a new loop algebra G is constructed, from which a new isospectral problem is established. It follows that integrable couplings of the well-known coupled Burgers hierarchy are obtained.     

The Double Integrable Couplings of Tu Hierarchy

Two types of Lie algebras are presented, from which two integrable couplings associated with the Tu isospectral problem are obtained, respectively. One of them possesses the Hamiltonian structure generated by a linear isomorphism and the quadratic-form identity. An approach for working out the double integrable couplings of the same integrable system is presented in the paper.     

Integrable Couplings of the Coupled Burgers Hierarchy

In this letter, a new loop algebra G is constructed, from which a new isospectral problem is established. It follows that integrable couplings of the well-known coupled Burgers hierarchy are obtained.     

Double Integrable Couplings and Their Constructing Method

To extend the study scopes of integrable couplings, the notion of double integrable couplings is proposed in the paper. The zero curvature equation appearing in the constructing method built in the paper consists of the elements of a new loop algebra which is obtained by using perturbation method. Therefore, the approach given in the paper has extensive applicablevalues, that is, it applies to investigate a lot of double integrable couplings of the known integrable hierarchies of evolution equations. As for explicit applications of the method proposed in the paper, the double integrable couplings of the AKNS hierarchy and the KN hierarchy are worked out, respectively.

A kind of integrable couplings of soliton equations hierarchy with self-consistent sources associated with sl（4） is presented by Yu. Based on this method, we construct a new integrable couplings of the classical-Boussinesq hierarchy with self-consistent sources by using of loop algebra sl（4）. In this paper, we also point out that there exist some errors in Yu＇s paper and have corrected these errors and set up new formula. The method can be generalized other soliton hierarchy with self-consistent sources.

Integrable Rosochatius Deformations for an Integrable Couplings of CKdV Equation Hierarchy

We propose a method to construct the integrable Rosochatius deformations for an integrable couplings equations hierarchy. As applications, the integrable Rosochatius deformations of the coupled CKdV hierarchy with self-consistent sources and its Lax representation are presented.     

N-fold Darboux Transformation for Integrable Couplings of AKNS Equations

For the integrable couplings of Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur(ICAKNS) equations, N-fold Darboux transformation(DT) TN, which is a 4 × 4 matrix, is constructed in this paper. Each element of this matrix is expressed by a ratio of the(4N + 1)-order determinant and 4N-order determinant of eigenfunctions. By making use of these formulae,the determinant expressions of N-transformed new solutions p~([N ]), q~([N ]), r~([N ])and s~([N ])are generated by this N-fold DT.Furthermore, when the reduced conditions q =-p*and s =-r*are chosen, we obtain determinant representations of N-fold DT and N-transformed solutions for the integrable couplings of nonlinear Schr?dinger(ICNLS) equations.Starting from the zero seed solutions, one-soliton solutions are explicitly given as an example.     

Integrable Couplings of Classical-Boussinesq Hierarchy and Its Hamiltonian Structure＊

By using a Lie algebra, an integrable couplings of the classicai-Boussinesq hierarchy is obtained. Then, the Hamiltonian structure of the integrable couplings of the classical-Boussinesq is obtained by the quadratic-form identity.     

New Simple Method for Obtaining Integrable Hierarchies of Soliton Equations with Multicomponent Potential Functions

A new simple method for obtaining integrable hierarchies of soliton equations is proposed. First of all, a new loop algebra is constructed, whose commutation operation is clear as that in loop algebra . Second, by making use of the Tu scheme, many of integrable hierarchies with multicomponent potential functions can be produced. As a specific application of our method, a multicomponent AKNS hierarchy is obtained. Finally, an expanding loop algebra of the loop algebra is constructed. Taking advantage of above, a type of integrable coupling system of the multicomponent AKNS hierarchy is worked out.
