In this paper, we derive some new results on the parametric stability of nonlinear systems. Explicitly, we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for a nonlinear system to be locally parametrically exponentially stable at an equilibrium point. We also derive a necessary condition for the nonlinear system to be locally parametrically asymptotically stable at an equilibrium point. Next, we derive some new results on the parametric stability of discrete-time nonlinear systems. As in the continuous case, we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for a discrete-time nonlinear system to be locally parametrically exponentially stable at an equilibrium point. We also derive a necessary condition for the discrete-time nonlinear system to be locally parametrically asymptotically stable at an equilibrium point. We illustrate our results with some classical examples from the bifurcation theory.  相似文献

An exponential function scheme, which is an extension of the time-domain prony method, and a mixed-matching method are developed for fitting the coefficients of both continuous-time and discrete-time transfer functions, using the discrete-time data of either continuous-time or discrete-time systems. When the discrete-time data are obtained from a continuous-time (discrete-time) system and the discrete-time (continuous-time) models are desirable, the proposed method can be applied to perform the model conversions. If the discrete-time data are obtained from a high-degree system, the proposed method can be applied to determine the reduced-degree models.  相似文献

In this paper, the reachability realization of a switched linear discrete-time system, which is a collection of linear time-invariant discrete-time systems along with some maps for “switching” among them, is addressed. The main contribution of this paper is to prove that for a switched linear discrete-time system, there exists a basic switching sequence such that the reachable (controllable) state set of this basic switching sequence is equal to the reachable (controllable) state set of the system. Hence, the reachability (controllability) can be realized by using only one switching sequence. We also discuss the stabilizability of switched systems, and obtain a sufficient condition for stabilizability. Two numeric examples are given to illustrate the results.  相似文献

This paper demonstrates the reliability of a discrete-time analogue in preserving the exponential convergence of a bidirectional associative memory (BAM) network that is subject to nonlinear impulses. The analogue derived from a semi-discretisation technique with the value of the time-step fixed is treated as a discrete-time dynamical system while its exponential convergence towards an equilibrium state is studied. Thereby, a family of sufficiency conditions governing the network parameters and the impulse magnitude and frequency is obtained for the convergence. As special cases, one can obtain from our results, those corresponding to the non-impulsive discrete-time BAM networks and also those corresponding to continuous-time (impulsive and non-impulsive) systems. A relation between the Lyapunov exponent of the non-impulsive system and that of the impulsive system involving the size of the impulses and the inter-impulse intervals is obtained.  相似文献

We consider a discrete-time multiserver queueing system with infinite buffer size, constant service times of multiple slots and a first-come-first-served queueing discipline. A relationship between the probability distributions of the partial system contents and the packet delay is established. The relationship is general in the sense that it doesn’t require knowledge of the exact nature of the arrival process. By means of the relationship, results for the distribution of the partial system contents for a wide variety of discrete-time queueing models can be transformed into corresponding results for the delay distribution. As a result, a separate full analysis of the packet delay becomes unnecessary.   相似文献

This paper utilizes an interval Pade approximate method together with interval arithmetic operation to convert a continuous-time uncertain system with input time-delay to an equivalent discrete-time interval model and transforms the robust control law of a continuous-time uncertain system with input time delay into an equivalent one of a sampled-data uncertain system with input time delay. The developed discrete-time interval model tightly encloses the exact discrete-time uncertain system with input time delay. Based on the law of mean and inclusion theory, a perturbed digital control law of input time-delay sampled-data uncertain system is newly presented, so that the states of the digitally controlled sample-data uncertain system closely match those of the originally well-designed continuous-time uncertain system.  相似文献

A method for controlling chaos when the mathematical model of the system is unknown is presented in this paper. The controller is designed by the pole placement algorithm which provides a linear feedback control method. For calculating the feedback gain, a neural network is used for identification of the system from which the Jacobian of the system in its fixed point can be approximated. The weights of the neural network are adjusted online by the gradient descent algorithm in which the difference between the system output and the network output is considered as the error to be decreased. The method is applied on both discrete-time and continuous-time systems. For continuous-time systems, equivalent discrete-time systems are constructed by using the Poincare map concept. Two discrete-time systems and one continuous-time system are tested as examples for simulation and the results show good functionality of the proposed method. It can be concluded that the chaos in systems with unknown dynamics may be eliminated by the presented intelligent control system based on pole placement and neural network.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of dynamic output feedback fault tolerant controller design for discrete-time switched systems with actuator fault. By using reduced-order observer method and switched Lyapunov function technique, a fault estimation algorithm is achieved for the discrete-time switched system with actuator fault. Then based on the obtained online fault estimation information, a switched dynamic output feedback fault tolerant controller is employed to compensate for the effect of faults by stabilizing the closed-loop systems. Finally, an example is proposed to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust receding horizon control for multirate sampled-data nonlinear systems with bounded disturbances is presented. The proposed receding horizon control is based on the solution of Bolza-type optimal control problems for the approximate discrete-time model of the nominal system. “Low measurement rate” is assumed. It is shown that the multistep receding horizon controller that stabilizes the nominal approximate discrete-time model also practically input-to-state stabilizes the exact discrete-time system with disturbances.  相似文献

For this model, a condition is derived under which the anisotropic norm of the system is bounded by the anisotropic norm of an auxiliary linear discrete-time stationary system with parametric uncertainty. An interpretation of some chaotic systems as the result of optimal decisions is presented. First, a generalized discrete-time two-person game is introduced that may be solved by use of dynamic programming. Then, a specific game of this type is formulated whose optimal solution transforms an originally linear discrete-time system into a well-known discrete-time chaotic system. Finally, a particular continuous-time optimal control problem is formulated, whose optimal feedback solution transforms an originally linear continuous-time system into a well-known continuous-time chaotic system.  相似文献

Distributed power grid (DPG) control systems are so highly interconnected that the effects of local disturbances as well as transmission time delays can be amplified as they propagate through a complex network of transmission lines. These effects deteriorate control performance and could possibly destabilize the overall system. In this paper, a new approximated discretization method and digital design for DPG control systems with multiple state, input and output delays as well as a generalized bilinear transformation method are presented. Based on a procedure for the generation of impulse response data, the multiple fractional/integer time-delayed continuous-time system is transformed to a discrete-time model with multiple integer time delays. To implement the digital modeling, the singular value decomposition (SVD) of a Hankel matrix together with an energy loss level is employed to obtain an extended discrete-time state space model. Then, the extended discrete-time state space model of the DPG control system is reformulated as an integer time-delayed discrete-time system by computing its observable canonical form. The proposed method can closely approximate the step response of the original continuous time-delayed DPG control system by choosing various energy loss levels. For completeness, an optimal digital controller design for the DPG control system and a generalized bilinear transformation method with a tunable parameter are also provided, which can re-transform the integer time-delayed discrete-time model to its continuous-time model. Illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the iterative solutions of Lyapunov matrix equations associated with Itô stochastic systems having Markovian jump parameters. For the discrete-time case, when the associated stochastic system is mean square stable, two iterative algorithms with one in direct form and the other one in implicit form are established. The convergence of the implicit iteration is proved by the properties of some positive operators associated with the stochastic system. For the continuous-time case, a transformation is first performed so that it is transformed into an equivalent discrete-time Lyapunov equation. Then the iterative solution can be obtained by applying the iterative algorithm developed for discrete-time Lyapunov equation. Similar to the discrete-time case, an implicit iteration is also proposed for the continuous case. For both discrete-time and continuous-time Lyapunov equations, the convergence rates of the established algorithms are analyzed and compared. Numerical examples are worked out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

We study the existence and a turnpike property of solutions of a discrete-time control system with discounting and with a compact metric space of states. In our recent work for this discrete-time optimal control system without discounting we establish the turnpike property and show that it is stable under perturbations of an objective function. For a class of discrete-time FIFO queueing systems with D-MAP (discrete-time Markovian arrival process), we present a distributional Little’s law that relates the distribution of the stationary number of customers in system (queue) with that of the stationary number of slots a customer spends in system (queue). Taking the multi-server D-MAP/D/c queue as an example, we demonstrate how this relation can be utilized to get the desired distribution of the number of customers. Sample numerical results are presented at the end.  相似文献

The stability and stabilization analysis problem is considered in this paper for a class of discrete-time switched fuzzy systems with known sojourn probabilities. By using Lyapunov functional, new delay-dependent sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the stability of the system. Convex combination technique is incorporated and the stability criteria are presented in terms of Linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Furthermore, the developed approach is extended to address the robust stability and stabilization analysis of the delayed discrete-time switched fuzzy systems with randomly occurring uncertainties. Finally numerical examples are exploited to substantiate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with stability analysis of a class of nonlinear switched discrete-time systems. Systems of the class appear in numerical simulation of continuous-time switched systems. Some linear matrix inequality type stability conditions, based on the common Lyapunov function approach, are obtained. It is shown that under these conditions the system remains stable for any switching law. The obtained results are applied to the analysis of dynamics of a discrete-time switched population model. Finally, a continuous state feedback control is proposed that guarantees the uniform ultimate boundedness of switched systems with uncertain nonlinearity and parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the problem of stabilization for single-input planar discrete-time switched systems by establishing necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the existence of switched quadratic Lyapunov functions of the closed-loop system. The results given in terms of a series of matrix inequalities generalize those results in our recent paper [Y.G. Sun, L. Wang, G. Xie, Necessary and sufficient conditions for stabilization of discrete-time planar switched systems, Nonlinear Anal.: Theory and Methods 65 (2006) 1039–1049] and clearly describe the set of switched quadratic Lyapunov functions for the system.  相似文献
