In this paper we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions to a nonlocal eigenvalue problem for a class of nonlinear functional dynamic equations on a time scale. We employ a cone theoretic fixed-point theorem to establish our results.  相似文献

In this paper we study the existence of positive solutions to a system of second-order nonlocal boundary value problems by using fixed point index theory in a cone. Our hypotheses imposed on nonlinearities are those which characterize systems of nonlocal boundary value problems, and our boundary value conditions are expressed in terms of possibly nonlinear functions of Riemann–Stieltjes integrals, thus generalizing and unifying the boundary value conditions in the literature. Therefore our results cannot be routinely deduced from the ones for single nonlocal problem in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop the approach and techniques of [Boucherif A., Precup R., Semilinear evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions, Dynam. Systems Appl., 2007, 16(3), 507–516], [Zhou Y., Jiao F., Nonlocal Cauchy problem for fractional evolution equations, Nonlinar Anal. Real World Appl., 2010, 11(5), 4465–4475] to deal with nonlocal Cauchy problem for semilinear fractional order evolution equations. We present two new sufficient conditions on existence of mild solutions. The first result relies on a growth condition on the whole time interval via Schaefer fixed point theorem. The second result relies on a growth condition splitted into two parts, one for the subinterval containing the points associated with the nonlocal conditions, and the other for the rest of the interval via O’Regan fixed point theorem.  相似文献

In the present paper, a mixed nonclassical problem for multidimensional second-order elliptic system with Dirichlet and nonlocal integral boundary conditions is considered. Since Lax-Milgram theorem cannot be applied straightforwardly for such a nonlocal problem, we consider the problem in the spaces of vector-valued distributions with respect to one space variable with values in the spaces of functions with respect to the other space variables. We introduce special multipliers and applying them we obtain suitable new a priori estimates, and under minimal conditions on the coefficients of the elliptic operator we prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution in appropriate spaces of vector-valued distributions with values in Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we study necessary conditions for the existence and uniqueness of continuous solution for a nonlocal boundary value problem with nonlinear term involving Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative. Our results are based on Schauder fixed point theorem and the Banach contraction principle fixed point theorem. Examples illustrating the obtained results are also presented.  相似文献

By constructing suitable cone and control functions, we prove some local existence theorems of positive solutions for a singular fourth-order two-point boundary value problem. In mechanics, the problem is called cantilever beam equation. Furthermore, we improve a famous method appeared in the studies of singular boundary value problems. The approximation theorem of completely continuous operators and the Guo-Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem of cone expansion-compression type play important parts in this work.  相似文献

We consider a problem for a quasilinear hyperbolic equation with a nonlocal condition that contains a retarded argument. By reducing this problem to a nonlinear integrofunctional equation, we prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for its solution. We pose an inverse problem of finding a solution-dependent coefficient of the equation on the basis of additional information on the solution; the information is given at a fixed point in space and is a function of time. We prove the uniqueness theorem for the solution of the inverse problem. The proof is based on the derivation and analysis of an integro-functional equation for the difference of two solutions of the inverse problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of multiple positive solutions for a degenerate nonlocal problem on unbounded domain. Using the Ekeland's variational principle combined with the mountain pass theorem, we show that problem admits at least two positive solutions under several different conditions. In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear fractional difference equation with nonlocal fractional boundary conditions. We derive the Green's function for this problem and show that it satisfies certain properties. Some existence results are obtained by means of nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type theorem and Krasnosel-skii's fixed point theorem.  相似文献

Analyzing the viscoelastic problem for small vibrations of elastic strings, Kirchhoff and Carrier proposed two different models of nonlinear partial differential equations. By combining these two models, we deal here with some nonlocal hyperbolic problems that cover a large class of Kirchhoff and Carrier type problems. The existence of local solutions of degenerate problems as well as local and nonlocal solutions of nondegenerate problems is established.
