A set of functions of the three-valued logic is considered and upper estimates for the Shannon function in the class of formulas of special form are obtained for this set. Some examples of sequences of functions from this set are considered and exponential lower estimates of complexity are obtained. In this case the values of the Shannon function are obtained for the considered class with the accuracy up to an additive constant.  相似文献

Transformations of the systems of equations of the first approximation of the classical and generalized Chapman–Enskog methods are proposed for those terms of the distribution functions by means of which one can calculate the vector transport relations for mixtures of polyatomic gases, connecting the diffusion and heat fluxes and gradients of the scalar gas-dynamic variables. The solutions of the transformed systems are expressed in terms of diffusion rates and gradients of the macroparameters. The derivation and formulae for the coefficients of the Stefan–Maxwell relations and their generalizations are simplified, and rigorous results for the matrices of the transport coefficients are established. Approximate vector transport relations are given for mixtures of non-equilibrium reacting polyatomic gases.  相似文献

A non-linear mathematical model for the motion of a transport robot (TR) with a caterpillar chassis and with drives based on DC motors, which is a non-holonomic electromechanical system, is considered. Non-linear canonical transformations of the coordinates of the state and control space are constructed, which reduce the initial equations of motion of the TR to a simpler canonical form, which is convenient for analysing and synthesizing control systems for the TR. The conditions for the TR to be controllable as a controlled object are found. Algorithms are given for constructing programmed motions (PMs) of the TR. Stabilizing control laws are synthesized under which the PMs of the TR are asymptotically stable and transients of a specified nature are ensured.  相似文献

There are many papers in which approximate solution of Navier-Stokes problem is discussed by finite element method. Their error estimates are optimal, but degree of piecewise polynomials for pressure p or degree of piecewise polynomials for velocity u are not the lowest. In this papre a new element is given. Nonlinear equations in Banach spaces are considered. Solvability conditions are obtained for them. These results are a generalization of the Hadamard diffeomorphism theorem. Relations are obtained for the effective moduli of elasticity and Poisson's ratios of a laminated fiber-reinforced composite, each layer of which has at least orthorhombic symmetry. The elastic properties of the composite in terms of the elastic constants of the layer are expressed exactly, and the elastic constants of the individual layer in terms of the values for the fiber and the matrix are expressed approximately. Two approximations are considered: one corresponds to the Hashin-Shtrikman variational approach, while in the second the comparison material is assigned elastic properties equal to the Voigt or Reuss means of the values for each layer. A numerical example is worked for the combination boron fibers-epoxy resin. The results of the calculation are compared with the exact solution of the problem for a composite composed of alternating layers of boron and epoxy resin.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to establish the uniform convergence of the densities of a sequence of random variables, which are functionals of an underlying Gaussian process, to a normal density. Precise estimates for the uniform distance are derived by using the techniques of Malliavin calculus, combined with Stein?s method for normal approximation. We need to assume some non-degeneracy conditions. First, the study is focused on random variables in a fixed Wiener chaos, and later, the results are extended to the uniform convergence of the derivatives of the densities and to the case of random vectors in some fixed chaos, which are uniformly non-degenerate in the sense of Malliavin calculus. Explicit upper bounds for the uniform norm are obtained for random variables in the second Wiener chaos, and an application to the convergence of densities of the least square estimator for the drift parameter in Ornstein–Uhlenbeck processes is discussed.  相似文献

New results and algorithms are obtained for classifying characteristics of planar representations by the method of autocorrelation functions. Theorems are proven on the geometric content of an arbitrary autocorrelation function for various surfaces of planar representations. In this paper projection methods based on expansions of solutions of retarded function differential equations in terms of generalized eigenfunctions are considered. It is first shown that the projection series developed earlier by Hale and Shimanov and those considered by Bellman and Cooke are actually the same. Using extensions of the residue-type arguments of Bellman and Cooke, convergence results are then established for a class of perturbed systems. These results are applied to obtain approximations to optimal controls for certain infinite dimensional variational problems. Numerical results are presented for several examples.  相似文献

New properties of outer polyhedral (parallelepipedal) estimates for reachable sets of linear differential systems are studied. For systems with a stable matrix, it is determined what the orientation matrices are for which the estimates possessing the generalized semigroup property are bounded/unbounded on an infinite time interval. In particular, criteria are found (formulated in terms of the eigenvalues of the system’s matrix and the properties of bounding sets) that guarantee for previously mentioned tangent estimates and estimates with a constant orientation matrix that either there are initial orientation matrices for which the corresponding estimate tubes are bounded or all these tubes are unbounded. For linear stationary systems, a system of ordinary differential equations and algebraic relations is derived that determines estimates with constant orientation matrices for reachable sets that have no generalized semigroup property but are tangent and also bounded if the matrix of the system is stable.  相似文献

The yearly average daily variation curves for the period July 1957 to June 1958 for data from neutron monitors operated at various places during the I.G.Y. are harmonically analysed. Data for different latitude belts are grouped together. The amplitude and hour of maximum of the first harmonic show a marked latitude dependence. It is found, however, that stations in the same latitude belt show large differences in amplitudes. Possible reasons for such differences are discussed. It is concluded that these differences are due to extraneous unspecified factors and the published data are not suitable for analysis without further scrutiny.  相似文献

The parameters of time asymptotics of the polarized radiation intensity are estimated. Precision Monte Carlo estimates of these parameters are derived for finite medium layers by iterating the resolvent of the corresponding transfer operator with a given scattering matrix and by evaluating parametric time derivatives. The computations are performed for two versions of the problem: with a Rayleigh scattering matrix and an aerosol scattering matrix. It is shown that the asymptotics of the radiation intensity are affected by polarization, except for the spatially homogeneous problem, for which the results are obtained analytically.  相似文献

The boundedness and unboundedness properties of external polyhedral (paralle-lepiped-valued) estimates are investigated for reachable sets of linear differential systems with a stable matrix. Boundedness and unboundedness criteria on an infinite time interval are presented for two types of estimates (“touching” estimates, which were introduced earlier, and estimates with constant orientation matrix). Conditions for the system matrix and bounding sets are given under which there are bounded estimates among the estimates of the mentioned types, under which there are unbounded estimates, and under which all the estimates are bounded or all the estimates are unbounded. In terms of the exponents of the estimates, the possible rate of their growth is described. For two-dimensional systems, the classification and comparison of possible situations of the boundedness or unboundedness for estimates of both types are given and boundedness criteria for estimates with special (orthogonal and “quasi-orthogonal”) constant orientation matrices are found. Two new linear operators determining automorphisms of the solution space of a special double-confluent Heun equation in the general case are obtained. This equation has two singular points, both of which are irregular. The obtained result is applied to solve the nonlinear equation of the resistively shunted junction model for an overdamped Josephson junction in superconductors. The new operators are explicitly expressed in terms of structural polynomials, for which recursive computational algorithms are constructed. Two functional equations for the solutions of the special double-confluent Heun equation are found.  相似文献

Carbon nanotubes are increasingly getting impact as reinforcing material for polymer based nanocomposites. Hence, new modeling strategies are necessary to calculate the behavior of these materials. In the last years some attempts have been made using and developing classical micromechanical models. On the other hand numerical homogenization methods are available to tackle this problem. Examples for both types of modeling strategies are presented with focus on the nanotube geometry. The nanotubes are modeled as hollow tubes as well as as isotropic and transversely isotropic cylinders. As expected the results of numerical and analytical methods are identical for isotropic cylinder inclusions. Small deviations occur for transversely isotropic cylinders in transverse direction. In the case of hollow tube inclusions, the analytical models lead to lower stiffness values in transverse direction and for shear. The largest deviations occur for longitudinal shear with magnitudes smaller than 10%. In contrast the effort to get numerical results is enormous, so that the analytical models are still useful. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) is widely used in biological studies, yet there remains considerable confusion among researchers about the interpretation of hypotheses being tested. Ambiguities arise when statistical designs are unbalanced, and in particular when not all combinations of design factors are represented in the data. This paper clarifies the relationship among hypothesis testing, statistical modelling and computing procedures in ANOVA for unbalanced data. A simple two-factor fixed effects design is used to illustrate three common parametrizations for ANOVA models, and some associations among these parametrizations are developed. Biologically meaningful hypotheses for main effects and interactions are given in terms of each parametrization, and procedures for testing the hypotheses are described. The standard statistical computing procedures in ANOVA are given along with their corresponding hypotheses. Throughout the development unbalanced designs are assumed and attention is given to problems that arise with missing cells.  相似文献
