The problem of a transversely isotropic functionally graded material (FGM) plate welded with a circular inclusion is considered. The analysis starts with the generalized England-Spencer plate theory for transversely isotropic FGM plates, which expresses a three-dimensional (3D) general solution in terms of four analytic functions. Several analytical solutions are then obtained for an infinite FGM plate welded with a circular inclusion and subjected to the loads at infinity. Three different cases are considered, i.e., a rigid circular inclusion fixed in the space, a rigid circular inclusion rotating about the x-, y-, and z-axes, and an elastic circular inclusion with different material constants from the plate itself. The static responses of the plate and/or the inclusion are investigated through numerical examples.  相似文献

Based on the three-dimensional theory, this work presents a direct displacement method to investigate the free axisymmetric vibration of transversely isotropic circular plates, whose material is functionally graded and properties obey the exponential law along the thickness direction of the plate. Under two boundary conditions, the solution satisfies all basic equations and the Corresponding boundary condition at every point. Thus, it is three-dimensional exact. Numerical examples are presented and compared with previous works. The present method can also be extended to the case of arbitrary distribution of the material properties along the thickness direction of the plate.  相似文献

This paper considers the bending of transversely isotropic circular plates with elastic compliance coefficients being arbitrary functions of the thickness coordinate, subject to a transverse load in the form of qrk (k is zero or a finite even number). The differential equations satisfied by stress functions for the particular problem are derived. An elaborate analysis procedure is then presented to derive these stress functions, from which the analytical expressions for the axial force, bending moment and displacements are obtained through integration. The method is then applied to the problem of transversely isotropic functionally graded circular plate subject to a uniform load, illustrating the procedure to determine the integral constants from the boundary conditions. Analytical elasticity solutions are presented for simply-supported and clamped plates, and, when degenerated, they coincide with the available solutions for an isotropic homogenous plate. Two numerical examples are finally presented to show the effect of material inhomogeneity on the elastic field in FGM plates.  相似文献

In this article, static analysis of functionally graded, anisotropic and linear magneto-electro-elastic plates have been carried out by semi-analytical finite element method. A series solution is assumed in the plane of the plate and finite element procedure is adopted across the thickness of the plate such a way that the three-dimensional character of the solution is preserved. The finite element model is derived based on constitutive equation of piezomagnetic material accounting for coupling between elasticity, electric and magnetic effect. The present finite element is modeled with displacement components, electric potential and magnetic potential as nodal degree of freedom. The other fields are calculated by post-computation through constitutive equation. The functionally graded material is assumed to be exponential in the thickness direction. The numerical results obtained by the present model are in good agreement with available functionally graded three-dimensional exact benchmark solutions given by Pan and Han [Pan, E., Han, F., in press. Green’s function for transversely isotropic piezoelectric functionally graded multilayered half spaces. Int. J. Solids Struct.]. Numerical study includes the influence of the different exponential factor, magneto-electro-elastic properties and effect of mechanical and electric type of loading on induced magneto-electro-elastic fields. In addition further study has been carried out on non-homogeneous transversely isotropic FGM magneto-electro-elastic plate available in the literature [Chen, W.Q., Lee, K.Y., Ding, H.J., 2005. Based on the three-dimensional elasticity equations, this paper studies the elastic bending response of a transversely isotropic functionally graded solid circular plate subject to transverse biharmonic forces applied on its top surface. The material properties can continuously and arbitrarily vary along the thickness direction. By virtue of the generalized England’s method, the problem can be solved by determining the expressions of four analytic functions. Expanding the transverse load in Fourier series along the circumferential direction eases the theoretical construction of the four analytic functions for a series of important biharmonic loads. Certain boundary conditions are then used to determine the unknown constants that are involved in the four constructed analytic functions. Numerical examples are presented to validate the proposed method. Then, we scrutinize the asymmetric bending behavior of a transversely isotropic functionally graded solid circular plate with different geometric and material parameters.  相似文献

Based on the generalized England-Spencer plate theory, the equilibrium of a transversely isotropic functionally graded plate containing an elastic inclusion is studied. The general solutions of the governing equations are expressed by four analytic functions α(ζ), β(ζ), φ(ζ), and ψ(ζ) when no transverse forces are acting on the surfaces of the plate. Axisymmetric problems of a functionally graded circular plate and an infinite func-tionally graded plate containing a circular hole subject to loads applied on the cylindrical boundaries of the plate are firstly investigated. On this basis, the three-dimensional (3D) elasticity solutions are then obtained for a functionally graded infinite plate containing an elastic circular inclusion. When the material is degenerated into the homogeneous one, the present elasticity solutions are exactly the same as the ones obtained based on the plane stress elasticity, thus validating the present analysis in a certain sense.  相似文献

本文对周边为广义刚性滑动和广义简支两种边界条件下的功能梯度压电材料圆板自由振动问题进行分析。根据轴对称横观各向同性压电材料基本方程,并利用有限Hankel变换得到了功能梯度压电材料圆板的状态空间方程。假设材料的机械和电学性质均沿板厚方向按统一的指数函数形式梯度分布,从而获得了周边为广义刚性滑动和广义弹性简支两种边界条件下功能梯度压电圆板自由振动问题的三维精确频率方程,该方程是一个关于自由振动频率的超越方程,通过求解该超越方程可得到在不同板厚以及不同的材料性质梯度变化情况下的圆板自由振动频率值,结果表明在相同的材料性质梯度变化情况下频率均随着板厚增加而增大,而在相同的板厚情况下频率则随材料性质梯度变化指数的增大而减小的结论。  相似文献

Three-dimensional free vibration analysis of functionally graded piezoelectric (FGPM) annular plates resting on Pasternak foundations with different boundary conditions is presented. The material properties are assumed to have an exponent-law variation along the thickness. A semi-analytical approach which makes use of state-space method in thickness direction and one-dimensional differential quadrature method in radial direction is utilized to obtain the influences of the Winkler and shearing layer elastic coefficients of the foundations on the non-dimensional natural frequencies of functionally graded piezoelectric annular plates. The analytical solution in the thickness direction can be acquired using the state-space method and approximate solution in the radial direction can be obtained using the one-dimensional differential quadrature method. Numerical results are given to demonstrate the convergency and accuracy of the present method. The influences of the material property graded index, circumferential wave number and thickness of the annular plate on the dynamic behavior are also investigated. Since three-dimensional free vibration analysis of FGPM annular plates on elastic foundations has not been implemented before, the new results can be used as benchmark solutions for future researches.  相似文献

By employing the general solution for coupled three-dimensional equations of a transversely isotropic piezoelectric body, this paper investigates the free vibration of a circular plate made of piezoelectric material. Three-dimensional exact solutions are then obtained under two specified boundary conditions, which can be used for both axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric cases. The propagator matrix method is used in this paper to study the vibration of a transversely isotropic, simply supported and layered rectangular plate. A new system of vector functions is constructed to deal with general surface loading, and general solutions and layer matrices of exact closed form are obtained in this system. The particular solution for forced vibration, and the characteristic equations for free vibration of various surface conditions are then obtained by simple multiplication of layer matrices. These results are presented in such a way that the dilatational and distortional modes of vibration are separated. As a special case of the layered plate, results for the corresponding homogeneous thick plate are also derived. They are presented in a very simple form, and contain the previous results for the static transversely isotropic and the dynamic isotropic plates.  相似文献

The free vibration analysis of a rotating cylindrical shell with an analytical method is investigated. The shell is considered as a sandwich structure, where the middle layer is a functionally graded material(FGM) shell, and it is surrounded by two piezoelectric layers. Considering piezoelectric materials to be functionally graded(FG),the material properties vary along the thickness direction as one innovation of this study.Applying the first-order shear deformation theory(FSDT), the equations of motion of this electromechanical system are derived as the partial differential equations(PDEs) using Hamilton's principle. Then, the Galerkin procedure is used to discretize the governing equations, and the present results are compared with the previously published results for both isotropic and FGM shells to verify the analytical method. Finally, the effects of FGM and functionally graded piezoelectric material(FGPM) properties as well as the thickness ratio and the axial and circumferential wave numbers on the natural frequencies are studied. Moreover, the Campbell diagram is plotted and discussed through the governing equations. The present results show that increasing the non-homogeneous index of the FGM decreases the natural frequencies on the contrary of the effect of non-homogeneous index of the FGPM.  相似文献

In the present paper, a nth-order shear deformation theory is used to perform the free vibration analysis of the isotropic plates. The present nth-order shear deformation theory satisfies the zero transverse shear stress boundary conditions on the top and bottom surface of the plate. Reddy??s third order theory can be considered as a special case of present nth-order theory (n=3). The governing equations and boundary conditions are derived by the principle of virtual work. The governing differential equations of the isotropic plates are solved by the meshless radial point collocation method based on the thin plate spline radial basis function. The effectiveness of the present theory is demonstrated by applying it to free vibration problem of the square and circular isotropic plate.  相似文献

在考虑热因素及旋转运动条件下,针对金属-陶瓷功能梯度圆板的固有振动问题进行研究.给出随温度变化且材料组分沿厚度方向按幂律分布的材料物性参数,依据热弹性理论得到圆板的能量关系式.基于哈密顿原理建立旋转金属-陶瓷功能梯度圆板热弹性动力学方程.采用伽辽金法得到边界约束下圆板的自由振动方程,确定了静挠度及固有振动频率.基于数值计算,得到系统固有频率值随体积分数指数、转速和温度等参量的变化曲线,讨论了静挠度变化规律及动力系统的奇点稳定性问题.结果表明,固有频率随体积分数指数、材料表面温度以及转速的增加而减小.  相似文献

研究横观各向同性饱和土地基上中厚弹性圆板的非轴对称振动问题。基于横观各向同性饱和介质Biot波动方程的一般解,按混合边值问题建立了饱和地基与弹性中厚圆板非轴对称动力相互作用的对偶积分方程,并将对偶积分方程转化为易于计算的第二类Fredholm积分方程;采用数值方法求解该积分方程。数值算例结果表明,当h/a>0.05时,饱和半空间体上中厚度圆板在不同频率下的振动特性与相应频率下的刚性板的振动特性基本相同,当h/a<0.05时,板中心的位移将随h/a的减小而增大。  相似文献

This paper presents a three-dimensional elasticity solution for a simply supported, transversely isotropic functionally graded plate subjected to transverse loading, with Young’s moduli and the shear modulus varying exponentially through the thickness and Poisson’s ratios being constant. The approach makes use of the recently developed displacement functions for inhomogeneous transversely isotropic media. Dependence of stress and displacement fields in the plate on the inhomogeneity ratio, geometry and degree of anisotropy is examined and discussed. The developed three-dimensional solution for transversely isotropic functionally graded plate is validated through comparison with the available three-dimensional solutions for isotropic functionally graded plates, as well as the classical and higher-order plate theories.  相似文献

对材料性能参数沿厚度连续变化的横观各向同性热应力缓和型功能梯度材料板中Lamb波的传播问题,采用幂级数法,求得其相速度方程.借助数值算例,分析了参数梯度变化对Lamb波频散曲线的影响,并与相应陶瓷板和金属板中的频散曲线进行了对比.进一步研究了参数梯度变化对波结构的影响,揭示了Lamb波在这种非均质板中的传播行为,所得结果可以为功能梯度材料及结构的超声表征与检测提供理论依据.  相似文献

论文提出了一种可用于分析功能梯度板弯曲和自由振动行为的简单精化板理论.该理论分析功能梯度板的弯曲时只需三个未知量,而分析功能梯度板的自由振动时只需一个未知量.与包含三个未知量的经典板理论相比,论文提出的简单精化板理论考虑了横向剪切效应,提高了计算准确度.与一阶剪切变形板理论不同,该简单精化板理论引入了多项式型剪切应变函数,满足板上下表面剪切应力为零的边界条件,因此不需要剪切修正.通过与已有文献的比较,验证了该简单精化板理论的准确性和便捷性,并基于该简单精化板理论研究了功能梯度板的弯曲和自由振动力学行为.  相似文献

This paper deals with a two dimensional problem for a transversely isotropic thick plate having heat source. The upper surface of the plate is stress free with prescribed surface temperature while the lower surface of the plate rests on a rigid foundation and is thermally insulated. The study is carried out in the context of generalized thermoelasticity proposed by Green and Naghdi. The governing equations for displacement and temperature fields are obtained in Laplace–Fourier transform domain by applying Laplace and Fourier transform techniques. The inversion of double transform has been done numerically. The numerical inversion of Laplace transform is done by using a method based on Fourier Series expansion technique. Numerical computations have been done for magnesium (Mg) and the results are presented graphically. The results for an isotropic material (Cu) have been deduced numerically and presented graphically to compare with those of transversely isotropic material (Mg).  相似文献

本文简要评述了压电材料板壳结构的研究现状,着重介绍了近年来我们在压电板壳三维分析方面所做的工作:(1)四边简支横观各向同性压电矩形板的状态空间分析方法:(2)横观各向同性压电圆板和环板的状态空间分析方法;(3)横观各向同性压电圆柱壳和球面各向同性压电球壳耦合振动的精确分析。这些工作都直接从压电弹性力学三维基本方程出发,不引进任何变形假设,因此可作为二维简化理论和数值计算方法的校核标准。文末对今后压电材料板壳的研究方向也作了展望。  相似文献

Based on the basic equations for axisymmetric problems of transversely isotropic elastic materials, the displacement components are expressed in terms of polynomials of the radial coordinate with the five involved coefficients, named as displacement functions in this paper, being undetermined functions of the axial (thickness) coordinate. Five equations governing the displacement functions are then derived. It is shown that the displacement functions can be found through progressive integration by incorporating the boundary conditions. Thus a three-dimensional analytical solution is obtained for a transversely isotropic functionally graded disc rotating at a constant angular velocity.The solution can be degenerated into that for an isotropic functionally graded rotating disc. A prominent feature of this solution is that the material properties can be arbitrary functions of the axial coordinate. Thus, the solution for a homogeneous transversely isotropic rotating disc is just a special case that can be easily derived. An example is finally considered for a special functionally graded material, and numerical results shows that the material inhomogeneity has a remarkable effect on the elastic field.  相似文献
