A new class of general multivalued mixed implicit quasi-variational inequalities in a real Hilbert space was introduced, which includes the known class of generalized mixed implicit quasi-variational inequalities as a special case , introduced and studied by Ding Xie-ping . The auxiliary variational principle technique was applied to solve this class of general multivalued mixed implicit quasi-variational inequalities. Firstly, a new auxiliary variational inequality with a proper convex , lower semicontinuous , binary functional was defined and a suitable functional was chosen so that its unique minimum point is equivalent to the solution of such an auxiliary variational inequality . Secondly , this auxiliary variational inequality was utilized to construct a new iterative algorithm for computing approximate solutions to general multivalued mixed implicit quasi-variational inequalities . A three-dimensional optimal control algorithm in determining the strength of the unknown optimal boundary control heat fluxes
utilizing the Conjugate Gradient Method (CGM) and a general purpose commercial code CFX4.2 is applied successfully in the
present study based on the desired domain temperature distributions at the final time of heating.
Results obtained by using the conjugate gradient method to solve this three-dimensional optimal control problems are justified
based on the numerical experiments. Two different computational domains and two different desired temperature distributions
are given and the corresponding optimal control heat fluxes are to be determined. Results show that the optimal control heat

The optimal control problem for broad classes of structures is studied, including those structures having as state relations variational equalities, variational inequalities and hemivariational inequalities. The optimal control problem consists in the minimization of a functional (performance index) having the state relation, enlarged by the control actions, as side condition. Certain new results are given of the optimal control of structures governed by variational and hemivariational inequalities.Some propositions are proved on the existence and the approximation of the solution of the static optimal control problem of structures having a variational inequality as state relation. Then a regularization procedure is proposed for the treatment of corresponding dynamic problem, as well as for the case of hemivariational inequalities. A stabilization problem for Burgers' equation is considered. Using linearization, various controllers are constructed which minimize certain weighted energy functionals. These controllers produce the desired degree of stability for the closed-loop nonlinear system. exact solutions of matrix algebraic Riccati equations with singularities are presented. These singularities do not permit

This paper presents a method for quality control by bank placement based on an optimal control theory and the finite element method. The shallow water equation is employed for the analysis of the flow condition and the advection‐diffusion equation is used for the analysis of pollutant concentration. The optimal control theory is utilized to obtain a control value for the objective state value. The shear‐slip mesh update method which is suitable for the rotational problem of body is employed. To solve the optimization problem, the time domain decomposition method is applied as a technique of storage requirements reduction. The Sakawa–Shindo method is employed as a minimization technique. By converting an optimal control problem for nonlinear systems to a Hamiltonian system,a symplecitc-preserving method is proposed.The state and costate variables are approximated by the Lagrange polynomial.The state variables at two ends of the time interval are taken as independent variables.Based on the dual variable principle,nonlinear optimal control problems are replaced with nonlinear equations.Furthermore,in the implementation of the symplectic algorithm,based on the 2N algorithm,a multilevel method is proposed.When the time grid is refined from low level to high level,the initial state and costate variables of the nonlinear equations can be obtained from the Lagrange interpolation at the low level grid to improve efficiency.Numerical simulations show the precision and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm in this paper. 相似文献
