Two isostructural 1D compounds {[M3(hpdc)2(H2O)6] 2H2O}n (M = Mn, Co; H3hpde = 2-hydroxypyrimidine-4,6-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized by the in situ hydrothermal reactions of 2-chloropyrimidine-4,6-dicarboxylic acid with MCl2 (M = Mn, Co) and NaOH; the MnII compound shows spin-canted antiferromagnetism, whereas the CoII compound exhibits the coexistence of spin-canting and a two-step field-induced magnetic phase transition.  相似文献

[Co^11(phen)3]2[{(ZnW12O40)Co^11(phen)2(H2O)}2Co^11(trien)2(NaH2O)2]·3H2O was synthesized via hydrothermal technique and characterized with elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, TGA-DTA, and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility. The compound crystallized in the monoclinic system with the space group P21/n, a=1.8210 nm, b=2.3592 nm, c=2.2932 nm, β=110.31°, V=9.239 nm^3, Z=2, R1=0.0827. The compound consists of two coordination cations, three lattice water molecules, and a macroanion [{(ZnW12O40)Co(phen)2(H2O)}2Co(C6H18N4)2·(NaH2O)2]^4- in which each supported Keggin anion [(ZnW12O40Co^11(phen)2(H2O)]^4- acts as a ligand to coordinate to central bridging Co^2+ ion via a terminal oxygen atom. Hydrogen bonds are responsible for the construction of 3D architecture of the compound. The compound is paramagnetic with a weak antiferromagnetic interaction(0=-46.796 K).  相似文献

The preparation of new CoII-mu-OH-CoII dimers with the binucleating ligands 3,5-bis{bis[(N'-R-ureaylato)-N-ethyl]aminomethyl}-1H-pyrazolate ([H4PRbuam]5-, R=tBu, iPr) is described. The molecular structure of the isopropyl derivative reveals that each CoII center has a trigonal-bipyramidial coordination geometry, with a Co...Co separation of 3.5857(5) A. Structural and spectroscopic studies show that there are four hydrogen-bond (H-bond) donors near the CoII-micro-OH-CoII moiety; however, they are too far away to be form intramolecular H-bonds with the bridging hydroxo ligand. Treating [CoII2H4PRbuam(micro-OH)]2- with acetonitrile led to the formation of bridging acetamidato complexes, [CoII2H4PRbuam(micro-1,3-OC(NH)CH3)]2-; in addition, these CoII-micro-OH-CoII dimers hydrolyze ethyl acetate to form CoII complexes with bridging acetato ligands. The CoII-1,3-micro-X'-CoII complexes (X'=OAc-, [OC(NH)CH3]-) were prepared independently by reacting [CoII2H3PRbuam]2- with acetamide or [CoII2H4PRbuam]- with acetate. X-ray diffraction studies show that the orientation of the acetate ligand within the H-bonding cavity depends on the size of the R substituent appended from the urea groups. The tetradentate ligand 3-{bis[(N'-tert-butylureaylato)-N-ethyl]aminomethyl}-5-tert-butyl-1H-pyrazolato ([H2PtBuuam]3-) was also developed and its CoII-OH complex prepared. In the crystalline state, [CoIIH2PtBuuam(OH)]2- contains two intramolecular H-bonds between the urea groups of [H2PtBuuam]3- and the terminal hydroxo ligand. [nPr4N]2[CoIIH2PtBuuam(OH)] does not hydrate acetonitrile or hydrolyze ethyl acetate. In contrast, K2[CoIIH2PtBuuam(OH)] does react with ethyl acetate to produce KOAc; this enhanced reactivity is attributed to the presence of the K+ ions, which can possibly interact with the CoII-OH unit and ester substrate to assist in hydrolysis. However, K2[CoIIH2PtBuuam(OH)] was still unable to hydrate acetonitrile.  相似文献

Three coordination polymers of Co(II) with dicyanamide (dca) were obtained by adding coligands of 2,5-dimethylpyrazine-dioxide (2,5-dmpdo), 2,3,5-trimethylpyrazine-dioxide (2,3,5-tmpdo), or 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine-dioxide (2,3,5,6-tmpdo) to the binary system of Co-dca. Co2(dca)(4)(2,5-dmpdo)2 (1) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P with a=7.4962(2), b=9.0364(2), c = 10.4783(4) A, alpha = 72.567(1), beta = 72.557(1), gamma = 68.814(2) degrees , V = 616.61(3) A(3), Z = 1, and R1 = 0.0345. [Co3(dca)6(H2O)4].2(2,3,5-tmpdo) (2) is in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 29.477(1), b = 7.3735(2), c = 17.4631(7) A, beta = 93.652(1) degrees , V = 3787.9(2) A(3), Z = 4, and R1 = 0.0532. [Co(dca)2(H2O)2].2(2,3,5,6-tmpdo) (3) is in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 9.4739(3), b = 11.3876(3), c = 12.1778(3) A, beta = 98.967(1) degrees , V = 1297.74(6) A(3), Z = 4, and R1 = 0.0481. 1 contains an unusual (4,4) Co-dca layer, representing a rare example of metal-dca coordination polymers with mixing 1,3-mu(2)- and 1,5-mu2-dca bridges. The Co-dca (4, 4) layers are connected by 2,5-dmpdo to give an alpha-Po-type network, which displays antiferromagnetic ordering below 10.8 K. 2 is a unique 3D framework composed of 2D twinned 1,5-mu2-dca bridged layers, which are connected by Co-H2O-Co linkages. The noncoordinated 2,3,5-tmpdo units and the coordination water molecules form hydrogen-bonded chains that thread the framework. 3 has alternating stacks of usual Co-dca (4, 4) layers through 1,5-mu2-dca bridges and organic layers of noncoordinated 2,3,5,6-tmpdo. Weak antiferromagnetic and weak ferromagnetic coupling was observed in 2 and 3, respectively.  相似文献

The new biphenol-based tetranucleating ligand, 2,2',6,6'-tetrakis(N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl)-4,4'-biphenolate, dbpbp2-, comprises two linearly disposed phenolato-hinged dinucleating heptadentate units, each of which offer one O and three N donors to a total of four metal ions. The ligand has been isolated as the zinc chloride complex [Zn4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+, and the ZnII ions have been completely or partially substituted by CuII, FeIII, CoII, and CoIII in metathesis reactions. Similarly, the chloride ligands of [Zn4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+ have been exchanged for solvent molecules (acetonitrile and/or water) and bridging carboxylate ligands. The resulting complexes have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, ESI mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and EPR spectroscopy. The structures containing [M4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+ with M = ZnII or CuII exhibit 2-D polymeric honeycomb sheets in which intermolecular M...Cl interactions bridge between adjacent [M4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+ cations. Two mixed-metal tetrabenzoate complexes [M4(dbpbp)(O2CC6H5)4]2+/3+ have also been prepared, namely a stoichiometric CuII2ZnII2 complex and a nonstoichiometric FeIII/ZnII system. In the latter case, ESI-MS identifies FeZn3, Fe2Zn2, and Zn4 species, and X-ray crystallography suggests an average composition of Fe0.8Zn3.2. Preparation of a CoII4 complex by metathesis was considerably more difficult than preparation of [Cu4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+, requiring both a large excess of the cobalt source and the presence of auxiliary benzoate. In the presence of 2 equiv of benzoate per starting [Zn4(dbpbp)Cl4]2+ unit and excess CoII, dioxygen binds as peroxide at each end of the molecule to give the CoIII4 complex [Co4(dbpbp)(O2)2(O2CC6H5)2]4+. This latter complex, together with new tetra- and hexametallic benzenedicarboxylato- and benzenetricarboxylato-bridged complexes of dinuclear [Co2(O2)(bpbp)]3+ units (bpbp- = 2,6-bis(N,N-bis-(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl)-4-tert-butyl-phenolate), is a module for potential construction of 1-D and 2-D coordination polymers/metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) capable of reversible O2 binding.  相似文献

The starting Co(II) complexes of the general formulae, [Co(L1)2]Cl4.4H2O, [Co(L1)Cl2]Cl (L1=N-([(allyl amino)thioxomethyl]hydrazinocarbonylmethyl) trimethylammonium chloride; ATHTC), [Co(L2)Cl]Cl.2H2O.(1/2)EtOH (L2=N-([(ethylamine)thioxomethyl]hydrazinocarbonylmethyl)trimethylammonium chloride; ETHTC) and [Co(L3)Cl2]Cl.2EtOH (L3=N-([(phenylaminomethyl)thioxomethyl]hydrazinocarbonylmethyl)pyridinium chloride; PTHPC), were synthesized by the conventional chemical methods. Tribochemical reactions of the above mentioned CoII complexes obtained by chemical methods with KI afford novel CoII and CoIII complexes with the general formulae [Co(L1')I3.(1/2)EtOH]I, [Co2(L1')I4]I.EtOH, [Co(L2')I2.(3/2)EtOH]I, [Co2(L2')I4(OEt)2(H2O)2]I.(1/2)EtOH and [Co(L3')I2.H2O]I.3H2O. The ligands (L1', L2' and L3') formed by tribochemical reactions are quite similar to these of L1, L2 and L3, except that the ionizable chloride ions in case of L1, L2 and L3 are substituted by iodide ions in (L1', L2' and L3'). The isolated solid CoII and CoIII complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, conductivities, spectral (IR, UV-vis, 1H NMR) and magnetic measurements. The IR spectra of the starting CoII complexes indicate that both L1 and L3 behave in bidentate manner coordinating via the carbonyl oxygen and NH2 groups, but L2 behaves as a tridentate fashion coordinating via the carbonyl oxygen, azomethine (C=N2) and SH groups with displacement of a hydrogen atom from the latter group. On the other hand, the IR spectra of the iodide CoII and CoIII complexes, synthesized by tribochemical reactions, suggest that L1' behaves only in a bidentate fashion via NH1 and CS groups. L2' behaves either as bidentate ligand through NH1 and CSH with deprotonation from the latter group or as a tetradentate ligand towards two cobalt ions via OH, C=N2, C=N1 and C-SH with displacement of a hydrogen atom from the latter group. Moreover, L3' behaves in a tetradentate ligand, toward two cobalt ions via the carbonyl oxygen, NH2, NH1 and CSH with displacements of a hydrogen atom from the latter group. The spectral and magnetic results suggest a tetrahedral geometry for all CoII complexes prepared by conventional chemical methods. The diamagnetic nature for three of the five iodide complexes, prepared by tribochemical reactions, suggests the oxidation of CoII to CoIII ion and the existence of low spin-octahedral geometry around the CoIII ion. Finally, the results of the rest of the iodide CoII complexes suggest either tetrahedral and/or high-spin octahedral geometry.  相似文献

An efficient and convenient method for the preparation of cis-3,5-diaminopiperidine (dapi) has been established and the coordination chemistry of this ligand with CoII, CoIII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, and CdII has been investigated in the solid state and in aqueous solution. Potentiometric measurements revealed a generally high stability for the bis complexes of the divalent cations with maximum stability for NiII (log beta2 = 21.2, beta2 = [M(dapi)2][M](-1)[dapi](-2), 25 degrees C, mu = 0.1 mol dm(-3)). Cyclic voltammetry established quasi-reversible formation of [Ni(dapi)2]3+ with a redox potential of 0.91 V (versus NHE) for the Ni(II/III) couple. [Co(dapi)2]3+ was prepared by aerial oxidation of the corresponding CoII precursor. The two isomers trans-[Co(dapi)2]3+ (1(3+), 26%) and cis-[Co(dapi)2]3+ (2(3+), 74%), have been separated and isolated as solid Cl- and CF3SO3- salts. In a non-aqueous medium 1(3+) and 2(3+) reacted with paraformaldehyde and NEt3 to give the methylidene-imino derivatives 3(3+) and 4(3+), in which the two piperidine rings are bridged by two or one N-CH2-O-CH2-N bridges, respectively. Crystal structure analyses were performed for H3dapi[ZnCl4]Cl, 1Cl3 x 2H2O, 2Cl3 x H2O, 3[ZnCl4]Cl, 4[ZnCl4]Cl, [Ni(dapi)2]Cl2 x H2O, [Cu(dapi)2](NO3)2, [Cu(dapi)Cl2], [(dapi)ClCd-(mu2-Cl)2-CdCl(dapi)], and [Co(dapi)(NO2)(CO3)]. The stability of [M(II)(dapi)]2+ and [M(II)(dapi)2]2+ complexes in aqueous solution, particularly the remarkably high tendency of [M(dapi)]2+ to undergo coordinative disproportionation is discussed in terms of the specific steric requirements of this ligand. Molecular mechanics calculations have been performed to analyze the different types of strain in these complexes. A variety of alkylated derivatives of dapi have been prepared by reductive alkylation with formaldehyde, benzaldehyde, salicylaldehyde, and pyridine-2-carbaldehyde. The NiII complexes of the pentadentate N3,N5-bis(2-pyridinylmethyl)-cis-3,5-diaminopiperidine (py2dapi) and the hexadentate N3,N5,1-tris(2-pyridinylmethyl)-cis-3,5-diaminopiperidine (py3dapi) have been isolated as crystalline ClO4- salts [Ni(py2dapi)Cl]ClO4 and [Ni(py3dapi)](ClO4)2 x H2O and characterized by crystal structure analyses.  相似文献

Two 3D cobalt-organic frameworks formulated as [Co3(2,4-pydc)2(micro3-OH)2]n.5nH2O (1) and [Co3(2,4-pydc)2(micro3-OH)2(H2O)]n.7nH2O (2) (2,4-pydc=pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylate) have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized. Both compounds 1 and 2 exhibit the 3D porous frameworks with hydroxyl-bridged metal Delta-chains. However, in comparison with only two crystallographically independent CoII ions in a unit of 2, three crystallographically independent CoII ions are found in an asymmetric unit of 1, where their Delta-chains are constructed by two types of vertexes sharing quadrangles formed via edge-sharing triangles. Magnetic studies show that 1 exhibits spin-canted antiferomagnetism and a field-induced spin-flop transition while 2 behaves as a normal antiferromagnet. The magnetic properties are largely retained by the porous frameworks of dehydrated 1 and 2 compounds. Gas adsorption measurements indicate that both the dehydrated compounds absorb H2 into their pores.  相似文献

Anaerobic reaction of Co(O2CMe)2.4H2O with the thioether-containing acyclic pyrazine amide hexadentate ligand 1,4-bis[o-(pyrazine-2-carboxamidophenyl)]-1,4-dithiobutane (H2L1) (-CH2CH2- spacer between the two pyrazine amide tridentate coordination units) furnishes [CoII(L1)].MeOH (1a) having CoN2(pyrazine)N'2(amide)S2(thioether) coordination. It exhibits an eight-line EPR spectrum, attesting to a low-spin (S = 1/2) state of CoII. A similar reaction in air, however, furnishes [CoIII(L3a)(L3b)].2MeOH (2a) (S = 0), resulting from a C-S bond cleavage reaction triggered by an acetate ion as a base, having CoN2(pyrazine)N'2(amide)S(thioether)S'(thiolate) coordination. On the other hand, the reaction of Co(O2CMe)2.4H2O with 1,4-bis[o-(pyrazine-2-carboxamidophenyl)]-1,5-dithiopentane (H2) (-CH2CH2CH2- spacer between the two pyrazine amide tridentate coordination units) in air affords a cobalt(II) complex [CoII(L2)].MeOH (1b.MeOH) (S = 1/2); its structurally characterized variety has the composition 1b.C6H6. Interestingly, 1b.MeOH undergoes facile metal-centred oxidation by aerial O2-H2O2-[Fe(eta5-C5H5)2][PF6], which led to the isolation of the corresponding cobalt(iii) complex [CoIII(L2)][ClO4] (2b). When treated with methanolic KOH, 2b affords a low-spin (S = 0) organocobalt(III) complex [Co(III)((L2')] (3). Structures of all complexes, except 1a, have been authenticated by X-ray crystallography. A five-membered chelate-ring forming ligand L1(2-) effects C-S bond cleavage and a six-membered chelate-ring forming ligand L2(2-) gives rise to Co-C bond formation, in cobalt(III)-coordinated thioether functions due to alpha C-H bond activation by the base. A rationale has been provided for the observed difference in the reactivity properties. The spectroscopic properties of the complexes have also been investigated. Cyclic voltammetry experiments in MeCN-CH2Cl2 reveal facile metal-centred reversible-to-quasireversible CoIV-CoIII (or a ligand-centred redox process; 2a), CoIII-CoII (1a, 1b.MeOH, 2a, 2b and 3), CoII-CoI (1a, 1b.MeOH, 2aand 2b), and CoI-Co0 (1a, 1b.MeOH and 2b) redox processes.  相似文献

Dinuclear [(TPA)Co(II)(CA2-)Co(II)(TPA)](BF4)2.2MeOH (1) [TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine] and [(TPA)CoII(CA*3-)CoII(TPA)](BF4).2Et2O (2) with a bridging chloranilate radical ligand formed by reduction of 1 are crystallographically and magnetically characterized. 1 has shown a weak antiferromagnetic coupling within the Co(II) dimer [J/kB = -0.65 K (-0.45 cm(-1))], while 2 has a 2 orders of magnitude stronger antiferromagnetic interaction between the Co(II) ion and a radical [J/kB = -75 K (52 cm(-1))].  相似文献

The ground-state properties of a Co3II moiety encapsulated in a polyoxometalate anion were investigated by combining measurements of specific heat, magnetic susceptibility, and low-temperature magnetization with a detailed inelastic neutron scattering (INS) study on a fully deuterated polycrystalline sample of Na12[Co3W(D2O)2(ZnW9O34)2].40D2O (Co3). The ferromagnetic Co3O14 cluster core consists of three octahedrally oxo-coordinated CoII ions. According to the single-ion anisotropy and spin-orbit coupling of the octahedral CoII ions, the appropriate exchange Hamiltonian to describe the ground-state properties of the Co3 spin cluster is anisotropic and is expressed as H = -2 sigma a = x,y,z (Ja12 S1a S2a + Ja23 S2a S3a), where Ja are the components of the exchange interactions between the CoII ions. To reproduce the INS data, different orientations of the two anisotropic J tensors must be considered, and the following conditions had to be introduced: Jx12 = Jy23, Jy12 = Jx23, Jz12 = Jz23. This result was correlated with the molecular symmetry of the complex. The following set of parameters was obtained: Jx12 = Jy23 = 1.37, Jy12 = Jx23 = 0.218, and Jz12 = Jz23 = 1.24 meV. This set also reproduces in a satisfactory manner the specific heat, susceptibility, and magnetization properties of Co3.  相似文献

Syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of novel trinuclear complexes of the same motif [M{Cu(pz2bg)2}M]4+ (M = CuII, NiII, CoII, MnII), catena-[Cu2{Cu(pz2bg)2}(Hpz)2(PhSO3)2](PhSO3)2.4H2O (2.4H2O), [Ni2{Cu(pz2bg)2}(MeOH)2(H2O)4](NO3)4 (3), [Co2{Cu(pz2bg)2}(NO3)2(EtOH)2](NO3)2 (4), and [Mn2{Cu(pz2bg)2}(NO3)4(MeCN)2] (5), which include the complex ligand [Cu(pz2bg)2] (1), are reported (Hpz = pyrazole, pz2bg- = di(pyrazolecarbimido)aminate; bispyrazolyl derivative of biguanidate). The reaction of Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O, sodium dicyanamide, Hpz, and PhSO3H.H2O (1:2:4:4) in MeOH yielded blue crystals of [Cu2(1)(Hpz)2(PhSO3)2](PhSO3)2.4H2O (2.4H2O). In 2, the tricopper(II) units, which consist of two Cu(II) ions bridged by 1, are linked by benzenesulfonate anions to form a ladder structure. Complex 1 was isolated by removing the terminal Cu(II) ions from 2 with use of Na(4)edta. Complexes 3-5 were obtained by the reaction of 1 with an excess of each M(II) ion. In 2-5, the adjoining metal ions are ferromagnetically coupled via the pz2bg- ligand with J values of +7.2(1), +7.5(1), +2.7(1), and +0.3(1) cm(-1), respectively, using a spin Hamiltonian H = -2J(S(M1)S(Cu) + S(Cu)S(M2)). The ferromagnetic interaction was attributed to the strict orthogonality of magnetic dsigma orbitals, which are controlled by the kappa3N:kappa2N bridging geometry of the pz2bg- ligands.  相似文献

State of the art CASSCF and CASPT2 calculations have been performed to elucidate the nature of ferromagnetism of CoII-NC-WV pairs in the three-dimensional compound [[WV(CN)2]2[(micro-CN)4CoII(H2O)2]3.4H2O]n, which has been recently synthesized and investigated by a number of experimental techniques (Herrera, J. M.; Bleuzen, A.; Dromzée, Y.; Julve, M.; Lloret, F.; Verdaguer, M. Inorg. Chem. 2003, 42, 7052-7059). In this network, the Co ions are in the high-spin (S = 3/2) state, while the single unpaired electron on the W centers occupies the lowest orbital of the dz2 type of the 5d shell. In agreement with the suggestion made by Herrera et al., we find that the ferromagnetism is due to a certain occupation scheme of the orbitals from the parent octahedral t2g shell on CoII sites, in which the orbital accommodating the unpaired electron is orthogonal to the dz2 orbitals of the surrounding W ions. We investigate the stabilization of such an orbital configuration on the Co sites and find that it cannot be achieved in the ground state of isolated mononuclear fragments [CoII(NC)4(OH2)2]2- for any conformations of the coordinated water molecules and Co-N-C bond angles. On the other hand, it is stabilized by the interaction of the complex with neighboring W ions, which are simulated here by effective potentials. The calculated exchange coupling constants for the CoII-NC-WV binuclear fragments are in reasonable agreement with the measured Curie-Weiss constant for this compound. As additional evidence for the inferred electronic configuration on the Co sites, the ligand-field transitions, the temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility, and the field-dependent low-temperature magnetization, simulated ab initio for the mononuclear Co fragments, are in agreement with the available data for another compound [WIV[(micro-CN)4-CoII(H2O)2]2.4H2O]n containing diamagnetic W and high-spin Co ions in an isostructural environment.  相似文献

A Keggin-type tungstosilicate compound [CoII(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[SiWVI12O40]·2H2O1 (bipy = bipyridine) was prepared by a hydrothermal method for the first time. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that 1 (C4H40Co2N8O44SiW12) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 10.4979(6), b = 13.3946(7), c = 13.5756(8) (A°), α= 70.0769(18), β= 68.910(3), y = 74.186(4)°,V =1649.84(16) (A°)3, M, = 3688.95, Z =1, Dc= 3.713 mg.m-3,μ= 21.432 mm-1, F(000) = 1644, S =1.058, the final R = 0.0511 and wR = 0.1023 for 6523 observed reflections (I> 2σ(I)). Compound 1 consists of two coordinated cation fragments [CoII(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2+, one normal Keggin polyanion unit [SiWVI12O40]4- and two lattice water molecules. To be noted, each polyanion unit is linked to two cation fragments by its two surface terminal oxygen atoms and two cobalt atoms of two cation fragments forming an organic-inorganic hybrid unit in 1. Furthermore, the compound shows strong photo-luminescence property in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Reactions between K[TpFe(CN)3] (Tp- = hydrotris(1-pyrazolyl)borate) and M(ClO4)2 x 6H2O (M = Co or Ni) in a mixture of acetonitrile and methanol afford, upon crystallization via THF vapor diffusion, [Tp8(H2O)12Co6Fe8(CN)24](ClO4)4.12THF x 7H2O (1) and [Tp8(H2O)12Ni6Fe8(CN)24](ClO4)4.12THF x 7H2O (2). Both compounds contain cyano-bridged clusters with a face-centered cubic geometry, wherein octahedral CoII or NiII centers are situated at the face-centering sites. The results of variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of ferromagnetic exchange coupling within both molecules to give ground states of S = 7 and 10, respectively. Low-temperature magnetization data reveal significant zero-field splitting, with the best fits for the Co6Fe8 and Ni6Fe8 clusters yielding D = -0.54 and 0.21 cm-1, respectively; ac magnetic susceptibility measurements performed on both samples showed no evidence of the slow relaxation effects associated with single-molecule magnet behavior.  相似文献

It has been shown that compounds DUT-40, DUT-41 and DUT-44 exhibit 2D layered structures with large hexagonal channels. Utilization of additional angular dicarboxylic TDC linker led to the formation of the DUT-42 compound with the structure consisting of three interpenetrated 3D networks. Using the linear co-linker dicarboxylic BPDC, DUT-43 was obtained which forms a complicated 3D architecture arising from the polycatenation of triple-layered 2D building units and 2D single layer units. The pore accessibility of the synthesized compounds in the liquid phase was proved by the adsorption of dye molecules.  相似文献

A structurally diverse array of polynuclear complexes has been identified and structurally characterized from the reaction of 6-methylpyridine-2-methanol (1) with a range of cobalt(II) salts under a variety of reaction conditions. A tetranuclear cubane, [Co4(1-H)4Cl4(H2O)3(CH3OH)], was isolated from the reaction of 1 with CoCl2.6H2O and NaOH in MeOH, and a tetranuclear double cubane, [Co4(1-H)6(NO3)2], was isolated from the reaction of 1 with Co(NO3)2.6H2O and NEt3 in MeOH. A bowl-shaped trinuclear complex, [Co3(1-H)3Cl3(dmso)], which features a triply bridging dmso ligand, assembled upon mixing 1 and CoCl2.6H2O in dmso. A 1-D coordination polymer, [Co(1)2(SO4)](infinity), where the sulfate ligands bridge "[Co(1)2]" units in a mu2:eta1 fashion to build up the polymer structure, was isolated from the reaction of 1 with CoSO4.7H2O. The reaction of the structurally related ligand 8-hydroxyquinaldine (2) with a mixture of CoCl2.6H2O and Co(OAc)2.4H2O lead to the formation of the tetranuclear double cubane, [Co4(2-H)6Cl2]. Temperature-dependent magnetic measurements have also been performed for these five complexes along with the hydrogen-bonded helicate [Co2(1)2(1-H)2]. The hydrogen bonds of the helicate mediate antiferromagnetic interactions between the cobalt(II) centers (J = -3.18(9) cm(-1), g = 2.25(2)). The sulfate bridging ligands of [Co(1)2(SO4)](infinity) are poor mediators of magnetic exchange. The Co(II) centers in the double-cubane complexes [Co4(1-H)6(NO3)2] and [Co4(2-H)6Cl2] are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled to each other at low temperature to give an S = 0 ground state. [Co4(1-H)4Cl4(H2O)3(MeOH)] exhibits rather complicated magnetic behavior; however, we did not observe any evidence for single-molecule magnetism as was seen for structurally related complexes.  相似文献

With the established chemistry of bridged [(porphyrinate)FeIII-X-CuII(ligand)]n+ [X = O2- (oxo), OH- (hydroxo), O22- (peroxo)] complexes, we investigated the effect of cobalt ion substitution for copper or copper and iron. Thus, in this report, the generation and characterization of new mu-oxo, micro-hydroxo, and micro-peroxo (micro-X) assemblies of [(porphyrinate)MIII-X-CoII/III(TMPA)]n+ assemblies is described, where M = FeIII or CoIII and TMPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine. The mu-oxo complex [(F8TPP)FeIII-O-CoII(TMPA)]+ (1, F8TPP = tetrakis(2,6-difluorphenyl)porphyrinate) was isolated by an acid-base self-assembly reaction of a 1:1 mixture of (F8TPP)FeIII-OH and [CoII(TMPA)(MeCN)]2+ upon addition of triethylamine. The crystal structure of 1.2C4H10O proved the presence of an unsupported Fe-O-Co moiety; angleFe-O-Co = 171.6 degrees and d(Fe...Co) = 3.58 A. Complex 1 was further characterized by UV-vis (lambdamax = 437 (Soret) and 557 nm), 1H NMR [delta 40.6 (pyrrole-H), 8.8 and 8.7 (m-phenyl-H), 8.0 (p-phenyl-H), 4.4 (PY-4H), 2.6 (PY-3H), 1.0 (PY-5H), -1.1 (PY-6H), and -2.7 (TMPA-CH2-) ppm], electrospray ionization (ESI) and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometric methods, Evans method NMR (microeff = 3.1), and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) susceptometry (J = -114 cm-1, S = 1). The micro-hydroxo analogue [(F8TPP)FeIII-(OH)-CoII(TMPA)]+ (2) [UV-vis lambdamax = 567 nm; delta 78 ppm (pyrrole-H); Evans NMR microeff = 3.7] was generated by addition of 1 equiv of triflic acid to 1. The protonation is completely reversible, and 1 is regenerated from 2 by addition of triethylamine. While (F8TPP)FeII/[CoII(TMPA)(MeCN)]2+/O2 chemistry does not lead to a stable micro-peroxo species, a dicobalt micro-peroxo complex [(TPP)CoIII-(O22-)-CoIII(TMPA)]2+ (3, TPP = meso-tetraphenylporphyrinate) forms from a reaction of O2 with a 1:1 mixture of the CoII precursor components at -80 degrees C [UV-vis lambdamax = 435 (Soret), 548, and 583 (weak) nm; silent EPR spectrum; diamagnetic NMR spectrum]. The oxygenation/deoxygenation equilibrium is reversible; warming solutions of 3 releases approximately 1 equiv of O2 and the reduced complexes are reformed.  相似文献

The isomeric ferrocene phosphine-carboxamides, 1-(diphenylphosphino)-1'-{[N-(2-pyridyl)-methyl]carbamoyl}ferrocene (1) and 1-(diphenylphosphino)-1'-{[N-(4-pyridyl)methyl]carbamoyl}ferrocene (2) have been studied as ligands in group-12 metal bromide complexes. The reactions of 1 with CdBr2 x 4H2O and HgBr(2) at 1:1 mole ratio gave the discrete tetracadmium complex [Cd2(micro-Br)2(-1kappa2O,N2)2[micro-1kappa2O,N2:2kappaP-(C5H4N)CH2NHC(O)fcPPh2-CdBr3]2] (7; fc = ferrocene-1,1'-diyl) and the halogeno-bridged dimer [[Hg(micro-Br)Br(-kappaP)]2] (8), respectively. In the presence of acetic acid, the CdBr2-1 system furnished a zwitterionic complex featuring protonated 1 as the P-monodentate donor, [CdBr3[Ph2PfcC(O)NHCH2(C5H4NH)-kappaP]] x H2O (6 x H2O). Under neutral conditions, compound , whose terminal donor groups are better arranged for the formation of extended assemblies, gave rise to one-dimensional coordination polymers [MBr2[micro(P,N)-]](n) (M = Cd, 4; M = Hg, ). The crystal structures of 2 x H2O, its corresponding phosphine oxide (3 x H2O), and complexes 4, 5, 6 x H2O, and have been determined, revealing extensive hydrogen bonding interactions in the solid state.  相似文献
