We prove that for a semisimple Hopf algebra H, if A is a transitive H-module algebra and M is an irreducible A-module, then dim(A) divides dim(M)²dim(H).

ON Δ-GOOD MODULE CATEGORIES OF QUASI-HEREDITARY ALGEBRAS

A useful reduction is presented to determine the finiteness of △-good module category F(△)of a quasi-heredltary algebra. As an application of the reduction, the f(△)-finitenetess of quasi-hereditary M-twisted double incidence algebras of posets is discussed. In particular, a complete classification of F(△)-finite M-twisted double incidence algebras is given in case the posets are linearly ordered.     

THE UNIVERSAL DUAL COMODULE OF MODULE IN HOPF ALGEBRAS

The purpose of this paper is to present some dual properties of dual comodule.It turns out that dual comodule has universal property (cf.Theorem 2). Abstract

Let F be a free profinite group of countably infinite rank and 𝒞(Δ) the class of all finite groups whose composition factors are in Δ for a non-empty class Δ of finite simple groups. Let R _Δ(F) be the intersection of all open normal subgroups N of F such that F/N is in 𝒞(Δ). Then we prove that, if 𝒩 is the class of finite groups which have no non-trivial 𝒞(Δ)-quotient, then R _Δ(F) is a pro-𝒩 group of countable rank and every finite 𝒩-embedding problem for R _Δ(F) is solvable.

本文研究了强极大TAF代数的交不可约D-模的有关性质.利用矩阵单元链的方法,证明了全上三角矩阵代数中任一D-模等于包含它的所有交不可约D-模的交,建立了强极大TAF代数的交不可约D-模与矩阵单元链之间的对应关系,推广了强极大TAF代数中关于理想的若干性质.     

PRINCIPAL IDEAL DOMAINS AND EUCLIDEAN DOMAINS HAVING 1 AS THE ONLY UNIT

We consider a question raised by Mowaffaq Hajja about the structure of a principal ideal domain R having the property that 1 is the only unit of R. We also examine this unit condition for the case where R is a Euclidean domain. We prove that a finitely generated Euclidean domain having 1 as its only unit is isomorphic to the field with two elements F ₂ or to the polynomial ring F ₂[X]. On the other hand, we establish existence of finitely generated principal ideal domains R such that 1 is the only unit of R and R is not isomorphic to F ₂ or to F ₂[X]. We also construct principal ideal domains R of infinite transcendence degree over F ₂ with the property that 1 is the only unit of R.

     

THE COHOMOLOGY OF MODULAR LIE ALGEBRAS WITH COEFFICIENTS IN A RESTRICTED VERMA MODULE

This paper determines the structure of the cohomology of a modular semisimple Lie algebra with coefficients in an arbitrary restricted Verma module.

ON THE SPECTRAL RADIUS OF IRREDUCIBLE AND WEAKLY IRREDUCIBLE OPERATORS IN BANACH LATPICES

Abstract

If T is an operator on a Banach lattice E we call T weakly irreducible if E contains no non-trivial T-invariant bands. We prove that if E is order complete and if the weakly irreducible operator T > 0 is in (E′_oo ? E)^⊥⊥ then T has positive spectral radéus. Prom this follows that Jentesch's theorem holds in arbitrary Banach function spaces.

If [Ttilde] denotes the restriction of T′ to E′_oo, 0 ? T an order continuous operator, then T is weakly irreducible if and only if [Ttilde]: E′_oo→E′_oo is weakly irreducible.

Finally we show that the majorizing, irreducible operator T ≥ 0, has positive spectral radius if either Tⁿ is weakly compact or E has property (P) or T is strongly majorizing.     

QUANTIZATION OF LIE ALGEBRAS OF BLOCK TYPE

In this article, we use the general method of quantization by Drinfeld’s twist to quantize explicitly the Lie bialgebra structures on Lie algebras of Block type.

Zeroless arithmetic: representing integers ONLY using ONE

We use recurrence equations (alias difference equations) to enumerate the number of formula representations of positive integers using only addition and multiplication, and using addition, multiplication and exponentiation, where all the inputs are ones. We also describe efficient algorithms for the random generation of such representations, and use dynamical programming to find a shortest possible formula representing any given positive integer.
