The principal resonance of Duffing oscillator to combined deterministic and random external excitation was investigated. The random excitation was taken to be white noise or harmonic with separable random amplitude and phase. The method of multiple scales was used to determine the equations of modulation of amplitude and phase. The one peak probability density function of each of the two stable stationary solutions was calculated by the linearization method. These two one-peak-density functions were combined using the probability of realization of the two stable stationary solutions to obtain the double peak probability density function. The theoretical analysis are verified by numerical results. 相似文献

研究了单自由度非线性单边碰撞系统在窄带随机噪声激励下的次共振响应问题。用Zhuravlev变换将碰撞系统转化为速度连续的非碰撞系统,然后用随机平均法得到了关于慢变量的随机微分方程。在没有随机扰动情形,得到了系统响应幅值满足的代数方程;在有随机扰动的情形下,给出了系统响应稳态矩计算的迭代公式。讨论了系统阻尼项、非线性项、随机扰动项和碰撞恢复系数等参数对于系统响应的影响。理论计算和数值模拟表明,系统响应幅值将在激励频率接近于次共振频率时达到最大。而当激励频率逐渐偏离次共振频率时,系统响应迅速衰减。 相似文献

The subharmonic response of a single-degree-of-freedom linear vibroimpact oscillator with a one-sided barrier to the narrow-band
random excitation is investigated. The analysis is based on a special Zhuravlev transformation, which reduces the system to
the one without impacts or velocity jumps, and thereby permits the applications of asymptotic averaging over the period for
slowly varying the inphase and quadrature responses. The averaged stochastic equations are exactly solved by the method of
moments for the mean square response amplitude for the case of zero offset. A perturbation-based moment closure scheme is
proposed for the case of nonzero offset. The effects of damping, detuning, and bandwidth and magnitudes of the random excitations
are analyzed. The theoretical analyses are verified by the numerical results. The theoretical analyses and numerical simulations
show that the peak amplitudes can be strongly reduced at the large detunings. 相似文献

A global analysis of stochastic bifurcation in a special kind of Duffing system, named as Ueda system, subject to a harmonic excitation and in presence of random noise disturbance is studied in detail by the generalized cell mapping method using digraph. It is found that for this dissipative system there exists a steady state random cell flow restricted within a pipe-like manifold, the section of which forms one or two stable sets on the Poincare cell map. These stable sets are called stochastic attractors (stochastic nodes), each of which owns its attractive basin. Attractive basins are separated by a stochastic boundary, on which a stochastic saddle is located. Hence, in topological sense stochastic bifurcation can be defined as a sudden change in character of a stochastic attractor when the bifurcation parameter of the system passes through a critical value. Through numerical simulations the evolution of the Poincare cell maps of the random flow against the variation of noise intensity is explored systematically. Our study reveals that as a powerful tool for global analysis, the generalized cell mapping method using digraph is applicable not only to deterministic bifurcation, but also to stochastic bifurcation as well. By this global analysis the mechanism of development, occurrence, and evolution of stochastic bifurcation can be explored clearly and vividly. 相似文献

Redistribution of energy in a highly asymmetric system consisting ofcoupled linear and highly nonlinear damped oscillators isinvestigated. Special attention is paid to the excitation of a nonlinearnormal mode while the energy is initially stored in other modes of thesystem. The transition proceeds via the mechanism of subharmonicresonance which is possible because of the strong nonlinearity of thesystem. 利用在地震工程中广泛应用的反应谱理论对爆破地震效应进行研究。根据单自由度体系反应谱理论,采用计算量少、精确度高的三角插值解析公式法取代常用的分段线性插值法进行反应谱数值计算。结合大量工程爆破地震监测资料,对不同爆炸参量下产生的爆破振动信号进行反应谱分析。结果表明,结构体对爆破震动的响应特征与爆炸参量有着密切的关系。为综合研究爆破机理和爆破地震波,特别是为将来构建爆破振动速度 频率相关安全准则提供了一种实用的分析技术。 相似文献

Application of an Itô-based approximation method to random vibration of a pinching hysteretic system
In this paper, an extension of the Cumulant-Neglect closure scheme is utilized for the random vibration analysis of a single degree of freedom system with a general pinching hysteresis restoring force. The hysteresis element used in the system model can simulate commonly observed forms of stiffness, strength and pinching degradations. The second order statistics of the system response to a stationary Gaussian white noise input are derived using an Itô-based approximation technique. The validity of these response statistics are then verified by comparing them to Monte Carlo simulation results. The numerical studies performed for different combinations of degradation parameters and excitation levels show that the response estimates obtained by this solution method are in good agreement with Monte Carlo simulation. These studies also indicate the applicability of this technique for response analysis of complicated forms of non-linearities. 相似文献

Response statistic of strongly non-linear oscillator to combined deterministic and random excitation
The principal resonance of a van der Pol-Duffing oscillator to the combined excitation of a deterministic harmonic component and a random component has been investigated. By introducing a new expansion parameter , the method of multiple scales is adapted for the strongly non-linear system. Then the method of multiple scales is used to determine the equations of modulation of response amplitude and phase. The behavior and the stability of steady-state response are studied by means of qualitative analysis. The effects of damping, detuning, bandwidth, and magnitudes of random excitations are analyzed. The theoretical analyses are verified by numerical results. Theoretical analyses and numerical simulations show that when the intensity of the random excitation increases, the non-trivial steady-state solution may change from a limit cycle to a diffused limit cycle. Under some conditions the system may have two steady-state solutions. Random jump may be observed under some conditions. The results obtained in the paper are adapted for a strongly non-linear oscillator that complement previous results in the literature for the weakly non-linear case. 相似文献

In this paper a strongly nonlinear forced oscillator will be studied. It will be shown that the recently developed perturbation method based on integrating factors can be used to approximate first integrals. A new 4-node quadrilateral flat shell element is developed for geometrically nonlinear analyses of thin and moderately thick laminated shell structures. The fiat shell element is constructed by combining a quadrilateral area co- ordinate method (QAC) based membrane element AGQ6- II, and a Timoshenko beam function (TBF) method based shear deformable plate bending element ARS-Q12. In order to model folded plates and connect with beam elements, the drilling stiffness is added to the element stiffness matrix based on the mixed variational principle. The transverse shear rigidity matrix, based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT), for the laminated composite plate is evaluated using the transverse equilibrium conditions, while the shear correction factors are not needed. The conventional TBF methods are also modified to efficiently calculate the element stiffness for laminate. The new shell element is extended to large deflection and post-buckling analyses of isotropic and laminated composite shells based on the element independent corotational formulation. Numerical re- sults show that the present shell element has an excellent numerical performance for the test examples, and is applicable to stiffened plates. 相似文献

The Cell Mapping method is a robust tool for investigating nonlinear dynamic systems. It is capable of finding the attractors and corresponding basins of attraction of a system under investigation. To investigate the applicability of the Cell Mapping method to discontinuous systems, a forced zero-stiffness impact oscillator is chosen as an application. The numerical integration algorithm, the basic element in the Cell Mapping method, is adjusted to overcome the discontinuity. Four types of Cell Mapping techniques are applied: Simple Cell Mapping, Generalized Cell Mapping, Interpolated Cell Mapping, and Mixed Cell Mapping. The last type is a new modification to existing types. Each type of Cell Mapping is briefly explained. The results are compared to the exact solutions. The Interpolated Cell Mapping and Mixed Cell Mapping methods are found to produce the most accurate results for this case. 相似文献
