In this note, we develop a computational method for solving an optimal control problem which is governed by a switched dynamical system with time delay. Our approach is to parameterize the switching instants as a new parameter vector to be optimized. Then, we derive the required gradient of the cost function which is obtained via solving a number of delay differential equations forward in time. On this basis, the optimal control problem can be solved as a mathematical programming problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with optimization techniques for a class of hybrid systems that comprise continuous controllable dynamics and impulses (jumps) in the state. Using the mathematical techniques of distributional derivatives and impulse differential equations, we rewrite the original hybrid control system as a system with autonomous location transitions. For the obtained auxiliary dynamical system and the corresponding optimal control problem (OCP), we apply the Lagrange approach and derive the reduced gradient formulas. Moreover, we formulate necessary optimality conditions for the above hybrid OCPs, and discuss the newly elaborated Pontryagin-type Maximum Principle for impulsive OCPs. As in the case of the conventional OCPs, the proposed first order optimization techniques provide a basis for constructive computational algorithms.  相似文献

In this paper we study an optimal control problem, where states of a control system are described by impulsive differential equations with nonlocal boundary conditions. With the help of the contraction principle we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the corresponding boundary value problem with fixed admissible controls. We calculate the first and second variation of the functional. Using the variation of controls, we establish various necessary optimality conditions of the second order.  相似文献

In this paper, a new stability analysis of switched impulsive systems with time delays whose subsystem is not necessarily stable is presented. A sufficient condition on uniformly asymptotical stability for nonlinear switched impulsive systems is obtained. Using the result obtained and the minimum (maximum) holding time, an easily verifiable condition on uniformly asymptotical stability for linear switched impulsive systems with time delays is derived. The control synthesis is also discussed. Finally, two examples with simulation results are given to validate the results.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop an optimality-based framework for addressing the problem of nonlinear–nonquadratic hybrid control for disturbance rejection of nonlinear impulsive dynamical systems with bounded exogenous disturbances. Specifically, we transform a given nonlinear–nonquadratic hybrid performance criterion to account for system disturbances. As a consequence, the disturbance rejection problem is translated into an optimal hybrid control problem. Furthermore, the resulting optimal hybrid control law is shown to render the closed-loop nonlinear input–output map dissipative with respect to general supply rates. In addition, the Lyapunov function guaranteeing closed-loop stability is shown to be a solution to a steady-state hybrid Hamilton–Jacobi–Isaacs equation and thus guaranteeing optimality.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of robust H state feedback stabilization for uncertain switched linear systems with state delay. The system under consideration involves time delay in the state, parameter uncertainties and nonlinear uncertainties. The parameter uncertainties are norm-bounded time-varying uncertainties which enter all the state matrices. The nonlinear uncertainties meet with the linear growth condition. In addition, the impulsive behavior is introduced into the given switched system, which results a novel class of hybrid and switched systems called switched impulsive control systems. Using the switched Lyapunov function approach, some sufficient conditions are developed to ensure the globally robust asymptotic stability and robust H disturbance attenuation performance in terms of certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Not only the robustly stabilizing state feedback H controller and impulsive controller, but also the stabilizing switching law can be constructed by using the corresponding feasible solution to the LMIs. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithms is illustrated with an example.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the finite-time stability problem for switched systems subject to both nonlinear perturbation and impulse effects. The average dwell time approach, combined with the algebraic matrix theory, is utilized to derive a criterion guaranteeing that the state trajectory does not exceed a certain threshold over a pre-specified finite-time interval. The requirement that at least one subsystem should be stable to ensure asymptotic stability is no longer necessary. Moreover, the finite-time stability degree could be positive, which is a relaxed condition for asymptotic stability. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Optimal switch-time control is an area that investigates how best to switch between different control modes. In this paper we present an algorithm for solving the optimal switch-time control problem for single-switch, linear systems where the state of the system is only partially known through the outputs. A method is presented that both guarantees that the current switch time remains optimal as the state estimates evolve, and that ensures this in a computationally feasible manner, thus rendering the method applicable to real-time applications. An extension is moreover considered where constraints on the switch time provide the observer with sufficient time to settle. The viability of the proposed method is illustrated through a number of examples.  相似文献

This paper concerns the problem of global exponential synchronization for a class of switched neural networks with time-varying delays and unbounded distributed delays via impulsive control method. By using Lyapunov stability theory, new synchronization criterion is derived. In our synchronization criterion, the switching law can be arbitrary and the concept of average impulsive interval is utilized such that the obtained synchronization criterion is less conservative than those based on maximum of impulsive intervals. Numerical simulations are given to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, a general class of impulsive delayed switched systems is considered. By employing the Lyapunov–Razumikhin method and some analysis techniques, we established several global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability criteria for the considered impulsive delayed switched systems, which improve and extend some recent works. As an application, the result of global exponential stability are used to study a class of uncertain linear switched systems with time‐varying delays. Several LMI‐based conditions are proposed to guarantee the global robust stability and global exponential stabilization. The designed memoryless state feedback controller can be easily checked by the LMI toolbox in Matlab. Moreover, the dwell time constraint is imposed for the switching law. This paper studies the stability properties of singularly perturbed switched systems with time delay and impulsive effects. Such systems are assumed to consist of both unstable and stable subsystems. By using the multiple Lyapunov functions technique and the dwell time approach, some stability criteria are established. Our results show that impulses do contribute in order to obtain stability properties even when the system consists of only unstable subsystems. Numerical examples are presented to verify our theoretical results.  相似文献

We study the problem of optimal control with impulsive component for systems described by abstract Sobolev-type differential equations with unbounded operator coefficients in Hilbert spaces. The operator coefficient of the time derivative may be noninvertible. The main assumption is a restriction imposed on the resolvent of the characteristic operator pencil in a certain right half plane. The contribution of this article is twofold. First we deal with the stability of continuous-time interconnected impulsive switched systems for which the dimension of the system’s state vector may change at different modes. A dwell time condition is derived to ensure the exponential convergence of the state trajectories, and when the system is subject to a non-vanishing perturbation, a superior bound of the state trajectories is provided as well. The main advantage of the solution we propose is its direct application to practical fields such as metallurgy or traffic control through the use of semi-definite programming solvers. Second, we introduce in the framework a platoon of vehicles in automated highway systems where vehicles may join or leave the platoon. Then, we detail the longitudinal stability problem of such a system and illustrate the features of the proposed stability conditions through numerical simulations.  相似文献
