文章在介绍了图像声纳的特点、合成孔径声纳(synthetic aperture sonar,SAS)产生背景和发展过程的基础上,对合成孔径声纳的原理、技术难点、成像算法等问题进行了讨论.着重分析了合成孔径声纳成像过程中高分辨率的获取方法、水声信道对成像的影响、多子阵技术及其成像算法、稳定的声纳运动平台和运动监测问题、运动补偿与自聚焦方法等.文章还给出了国内外合成孔径声纳研究的最新进展情况,进而展望了合成孔径声纳的应用前景.  相似文献

The modified synthetic transmit aperture (STA) algorithm is described. The primary goal of this work was to assess the possibility to improve the image quality achievable using synthetic aperture (SA) approach and to evaluate the performance and the clinical applicability of the modified algorithm using phantoms. The modified algorithm is based on the coherent summation of back-scattered RF echo signals with weights calculated for each point in the image and for all possible combinations of the transmit-receive pairs. The weights are calculated using the angular directivity functions of the transmit-receive elements, which are approximated by a far-field radiation pattern of a narrow strip transducer element vibrating with uniform pressure amplitude over its width. In this way, the algorithm takes into account the finite aperture of each individual element in the imaging transducer array. The performance of the approach developed was tested using FIELD II simulated synthetic aperture data of the point reflectors, which allowed the visualization (penetration) depth and lateral resolution to be estimated. Also, both simulated and measured data of cyst phantom were used for qualitative assessment of the imaging contrast improvement. The experimental data were obtained using 128 elements, 4 MHz, linear transducer array of the Ultrasonix research platform. The comparison of the results obtained using the modified and conventional (unweighted) STA algorithms revealed that the modified STA exhibited an increase in the penetration depth accompanied by a minor, yet discernible upon the closer examination, degradation in lateral resolution, mainly in the proximity of the transducer aperture. Overall, however, a considerable (12 dB) improvement in the image quality, particularly in the immediate vicinity of the transducer’s surface was demonstrated. The modified STA method holds promise to be of clinical importance, especially in the applications where the quality of the “near-field” image, that is the image in the immediate vicinity of the scanhead is of critical importance such as for instance in skin- and breast-examinations.  相似文献

We describe a new one-dimensional synthetic aperture imaging laser radar (ladar) using the resonant sensitivity of a microchip laser to frequency-shifted optical feedback and galvanometric scanning of the target under investigation. In our experiment, the laser is both the source and the detector, providing optical amplification with self-aligned heterodyne detection. By using galvanometric scanning, we achieve an along-track spatial resolution better than the diffraction limit.  相似文献

为解决合成孔径激光雷达(SAL)所需高重复频率大带宽相干光源问题,提出了合成频率步进线性调频信号(SFSCS)的方案,并进行了基于SFSCS信号SAL (SFSCS-SAL)的成像理论和实验演示研究。采用多台独立的窄带宽高重复频率线性调频激光器构成SFSCS信号,给出了SFSCS-SAL的成像数据方程和图像形成方法。理论分析表明:在一定条件下,SFSCS-SAL的成像处理与常规SAL相同;但是,与单个子脉冲激光器SAL相比,SFSCS-SAL的距离向成像分辨率提高至少N倍(N为构成SFSCS的独立激光器数目)。实验演示中,利用一台1550 nm波段的线性调波长激光器,通过光学斩波的方法模拟生成了子脉冲数为3的SFSCS信号。以此SFSCS信号作为探测光源,建立了SFSCS-SAL实验装置,对强散射目标和弱散射扩展目标,均实现了高分辨率成像。实验结果与理论分析一致。  相似文献

Based on phase sensitive scanning acoustic microscopy (PSAM), a novel scheme suitable for volume imaging has been developed. The method employs synthetic aperture insonification combined with synthetic aperture imaging. Excitation and detection are performed by planar scanning of two focusing transducer and vector (phase and amplitude) detectors for the ultrasonic wave packages observed in transmission. Examples for applications of the scheme, including technically relevant simplifications based on reduced dimensions of the scan ranges, are presented. Detection schemes already applied for non-destructive testing (NDT) and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of the mechanical properties of functionally graded materials are an example for the application of the generalised approach presented here with reduced dimensions of the scan. The technique is suitable for NDT and NDE imaging respectively with three-dimensional resolution.  相似文献

A method for ultrasonic synthetic aperture imaging using finite-sized transducers is introduced that is based on a compact, linear, discrete model of the ultrasonic measurement system developed using matrix formalism. Using this model a time-domain algorithm for deconvolution of the transducer's spatial impulse responses (SIRs) is developed that is based on a minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion. The algorithm takes the form of a spatiotemporal filter that compensates for the SIRs associated with a finite-sized transducer at every point of the processed image. A major advantage of the proposed method is that it can be used for any transducer, provided that its associated SIRs are known. This is in contrast to the synthetic aperture focusing technique (SAFT), which treats the transducer as a point source. The performance of the method is evaluated with simulations and experiments, performed in water using a linear phased array. The results obtained using the proposed method are compared to those obtained with a classical time-domain SAFT algorithm. For a finite aperture source, it is clearly shown that the resolution obtained using the proposed method is superior to that obtained using the SAFT algorithm.  相似文献

We report on synthetic aperture microscopy through a highly turbid medium. We first recorded a transmission matrix for the turbid medium with an angular basis of 20,000 complex images covering 0.6 NA. This effectively converts the medium into a lens of the same NA. Distorted images of a target object are then taken at 500 different angles of illumination covering 0.6 NA. For each of the distorted images, the original object image is reconstructed from the transmission matrix by the recently developed turbid lens imaging (TLI) technique. All 500 reconstructed images are synthesized to enhance the NA to 1.2 and thereby generate an object image with twice the enhanced spatial resolution of the individual images. Our method of applying aperture synthesis for TLI makes it possible to enhance the resolving power without increasing the number of transmission matrix elements. This relieves the demand for data acquisition and processing that has impeded the practicality of TLI.  相似文献

In synthetic transmit aperture medical ultrasound imaging field,a compressed sensing ultrasound imaging method based on the sparsity in frequency domain is presented in order to reduce huge amount of data and large numbers of receiving channels.First,the sparsity in frequency domain is verified.Then the echo signal is compressively sampled in time-spatial domain based on compressed sensing and the echo signal is reconstructed by solving an optimization problem.Finally the image is made by using the synthetic transmit aperture approach.The experiments based on point target and fetus target are used to verify the proposed method.The MSE,resolution and image quality of reconstructed image and those of original image are compared and analyzed.The results show that only 30%amount of data and 50%of receiving channels were used to implement ultrasound imaging without reducing the quality of image in experiment.The amount of data and the complexity of system are reduced greatly by the proposed method based on compressed sensing.  相似文献

为了解决合成发射孔径技术在医学超声成像实现中面临的数据量大及接收通道多的问题,提出一种超声成像系统频率域稀疏性模型的压缩感知成像算法。首先对超声系统频率域稀疏性模型进行了验证;然后根据稀疏性模型利用压缩感知理论对回波信号进行压缩采样,并使用最优化方法完成回波信号重建;最终通过合成发射孔径技术完成超声成像。针对医学成像中常用的点目标及模拟胎儿目标进行成像仿真实验,对重建图像在均方误差、分辨率及成像质量等方面与常规成像结果对比分析。实验结果表明在保证成像质量的同时,仅使用30%原始数据量及50%总接收通道数目可完成成像;频率域稀疏性模型的压缩感知成像算法可以大幅度减少合成发射孔径成像所需数据量及接收通道数,极大地降低了系统复杂度。   相似文献

为解决广义相干系数用于合成孔径成像中所存在的运算量大,图像对比度改善有限等问题,提出空间广义相干系数加权成像方法。该算法根据单个孔径成像结果之间的相干性来计算相干系数,通过加权空间合成进行成像。采用对FieldⅡ仿真点目标和吸声斑目标的数据进行成像表明,算法不仅使运算量减少N(N为阵元数)倍,而且相对于传统的广义相干系数算法,算法对散射点成像可提高信噪比7 dB,对于吸声斑成像可提高对比度3.2 dB。可见算法可以有效地提高成像速度和成像质量。  相似文献

We report a new synthetic aperture optical microscopy in which high-resolution, wide-field amplitude and phase images are synthesized from a set of Fourier holograms. Each hologram records a region of the complex two-dimensional spatial frequency spectrum of an object, determined by the illumination field's spatial and spectral properties and the collection angle and solid angle. We demonstrate synthetic microscopic imaging in which spatial frequencies that are well outside the modulation transfer function of the collection optical system are recorded while maintaining the long working distance and wide field of view.  相似文献

针对目前常见的稀疏字典缺乏针对性,在合成孔径医学超声成像中的应用效果不佳,难以在低压缩率下保证重构图像质量的问题,本文设计了一种高效能的稀疏字典。根据超声回波信号是由发射脉冲信号经过不同延时衰减后叠加的特点,利用发射脉冲作为基函数构造稀疏字典,回波信号在该稀疏字典确定的变换域中具备很好的稀疏性,理论上能使其稀疏表示系数的稀疏度等于超声阵元接收到的反射回波数。通过FieldⅡ对简单点目标和复杂目标的仿真结果表明:在相同的重构算法和压缩率下该稀疏字典重构的平均绝对误差明显小于常见的稀疏字典,其值仅为DWT的几分之一,DFT和DCT的几十分之一,能让回波信号以更低的压缩率实现相同的恢复效果。本文最后使用体模的实际采集数据对算法的实际效果进行检测,实验结果也与仿真结果基本一致。基于该稀疏字典的压缩感知算法可以进一步减少合成孔径成像所需存储的数据量、降低系统的复杂度。  相似文献

We propose synthetic aperture integral imaging, in which an effectively enlarged aperture (or field of view) is obtained by movement of small integral imaging system. This system substantially increases the field of view and the viewing resolution. The feasibility of our approach is experimentally demonstrated. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time the synthetic aperture technique has been applied to three-dimensional integral imaging.  相似文献

For the optical spectrum region, we describe a novel phase-coded aperture imaging system that can be used in a computational imaging camera. The optical design includes a phase-only screen followed by a detector array. A specific diffraction pattern forms at the detector array when the wavefront from a point source object passes through the phase screen. Since diffraction effects cannot be ignored in the optical regime, an iterative phase retrieval method is used to calculate the phase coded screen. Correlation type processing can be applied for the image recovery. Computer simulation results are presented to illustrate the excellent imaging performance of this camera.  相似文献

研究了分形粗糙面的成像问题. 分形粗糙面能够较好的逼近真实环境, 采用带限形式的Weierstrass-Mandelbrot函数建立了分形粗糙面几何模型, 对分形粗糙面参数的选取进行了讨论. 对大尺度粗糙面散射问题提出了一种基于大面元的Kirchhoff近似方法, 采用面元模型来计算粗糙面总的后向散射场以及每一个面元的后向散射场, 并对面元的尺寸选取进行了研究, 通过与解析解进行对比证明了该方法的正确性. 在分形理论建立的确定性粗糙面几何模型与面元的Kirchhoff方法获取的散射场的基础上, 采用正侧视条带式成像模式, 并选用距离多普勒算法对不同分形参数的粗糙面进行合成孔径雷达(SAR) 成像模拟, 结果显示从SAR像中可以清晰地观察到不同分形参数对粗糙面几何轮廓的影响. 该研究包括了从环境模型、电磁模型到SAR成像技术在内的完整的分形环境SAR像模拟过程, 仿真结果显示出分形环境的SAR像特点, 这对基于分形理论的自然环境的遥感探测以及参数反演具有一定的理论支撑作用.  相似文献

Ultrasonic inspection plays an important role in numerous industrial fields. One of the prominent tasks with respect to quantitative nondestructive evaluation is the determination of location, shape, size and orientation of defects. In this respect, the synthetic aperture focusing technique (SAFT) has been successfully applied to isotropic materials over the years. In anisotropic media, however, its application suffers from several phenomena, which are the direction dependence of the ultrasonic velocities, the beam skewing effect and the modified transducer radiation characteristics. In this article, a SAFT imaging algorithm is presented which fully accounts for the nature of wave radiation and propagation within anisotropic materials. For three-dimensional defect reconstruction, the spatial dependence of the ultrasonic group velocities as well as the radiation characteristics of the transducer are exploited--respective algorithms have been implemented for orthotropic material symmetry. Tests have been performed on unidirectional composite material.  相似文献
