In this paper we present the Koopman‐von Neumann (KvN) formulation of classical non‐Abelian gauge field theories. In particular we shall explore the functional (or classical path integral) counterpart of the KvN method. In the quantum path integral quantization of Yang‐Mills theories concepts like gauge‐fixing and Faddeev‐Popov determinant appear in a quite natural way. We will prove that these same objects are needed also in this classical path integral formulation for Yang‐Mills theories. We shall also explore the classical path integral counterpart of the BFV formalism and build all the associated universal and gauge charges. These last are quite different from the analog quantum ones and we shall show the relation between the two. This paper lays the foundation of this formalism which, due to the many auxiliary fields present, is rather heavy. Applications to specific topics outlined in the paper will appear in later publications.  相似文献

The explicit, near the origin, form of the ground state of the SU(2)SU(2) supermembrane matrix model is studied. We evaluate the 2nd order terms of the Taylor expansion of the wave-function, which together with the 0th and the 1st order terms can be used to determine other terms by recurrence equations coming from the Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

We discuss the properties of ghost and gluon propagators in the deep infrared momentum region of Landau gauge Yang–Mills theory. Within the framework of Dyson–Schwinger equations and the functional renormalization group we demonstrate that it is only a matter of infrared boundary conditions whether infrared scaling or decoupling occurs. We argue that the second possibility is at odds with global BRST symmetry in the confining phase. For this purpose we improve upon existing truncation schemes in particular with respect to transversality and renormalization.  相似文献

We study the duality between color and kinematics for the Sudakov form factors of $mathrm{tr}({F}^{2})$ in non-supersymmetric pure Yang-Mills theory. We construct the integrands that manifest the color-kinematics duality up to two loops. The resulting numerators are given in terms of Lorentz products of momenta and polarization vectors, which have the same powers of loop momenta as that from the Feynman rules. The integrands are checked by d-dimensional unitarity cuts and are valid in any dimension. We find that massless-bubble and tadpole topologies are needed at two loops to realize the color-kinematics duality. Interestingly, the two-loop solution contains a large number of free parameters suggesting the duality may hold at higher loop orders.  相似文献

We construct clusters of classical Heisenberg spins with two-spin -type interactions for which the ground state manifold consists of disconnected pieces. We extend the construction to lattices and couplings for which the ground state manifold splits into an exponentially large number of disconnected pieces at a sharp point as the interaction strengths are varied with respect to each other. In one such lattice we construct, the number of disconnected pieces in the ground state manifold can be counted exactly.  相似文献

Used the dimensional reduction in the sense of Parisi and Sourlas, the gauge fixing term of the four-dimensional Yang-Mills field without the theta term is reduced to a two-dimensional principal chiral model. By adding the θ term (θ=π), the two-dimensional principal chiral model changes into the two-dimensional level 1 Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten model. The non-trivial fixed point indicates that Yang-Mills theory at θ=π is a critical theory without mass gap and confinement.  相似文献

Total spin quantum number is rigorously calculated for a quantum version of the Mattis model of random spin systems. Crossover between three universality classes of the Ising model, theXY model, and the Heisenberg model is explicitly worked out in the presence of randomness. The randomness of the type of the Mattis model is shown to have no thermodynamic effects even in quantum systems.  相似文献

研究了一维光晶格中超流Fermi气体基态解的性质.在平均场理论框架下,利用超流Fermi体系中原子间相互作用能与晶格势能相互平衡的条件,得到了一维光晶格中超流Fermi气体在整个BEC-BCS跨越区的一组基态解,给出了基态的原子数密度空间分布、总原子数和能量.进一步对系统从BEC端转变到BCS端时的基态解性质进行了深入分析和对比.结果表明,一维光晶格中超流Fermi气体基态分布具有一些特殊的性质,由于Fermi压力,相比而言超流Fermi气体在BCS端的基态原子数密度空间分布较为扩展,平均能量明显偏高.  相似文献

本文指出了一种现象:当忽略原子核的运动时,He原子非相对论基态变分能量的计算值将会低于实验值.考虑对原子核运动的修正后,通过使用一个带松弛坐标参数k的变分波函数对He原子的非相对论基态能量进行了变分计算,得到比较满意的结果.此计算与变分原理一致.  相似文献

We consider a rotating Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical lattice in the regime in which the system Hamiltonian can be mapped onto a Josephson junction array. In an approximate scheme where the couplings are assumed uniform, the ground state energy is formulated in terms of the vortex configuration. Application of the method for the ladder case presented and the results are compared with Monte-Carlo method.  相似文献

本文利用密度泛函方法,优化了CaN2基态(X2B2)的几何平衡结构,其对称性属于C2v,它的键角、平衡核间距和离解能分别为26.428°,0.2526 nm和9.574 eV.基于量子化学计算得出GaN和GaN2基电子态及其离解极限之后,利用计算数据和最小二乘法得到了GaN的M-S解析势能函数,并计算出各态的谐振频率、力常数和光谱数据.利用多体项展式理论首次得到了GaN2基态的解析势能函数,它准确表达了GaN2的平衡几何结构,在此基础上讨论了Ga N2和N GaN反应系统的反应动力学.  相似文献

在研究Pekeris模型的基础上,提出了一种包含坐标张弛系数的试探波函数,同时利用Matlab(或者Mathematica)语言,开发了一个运用变分法对三体问题进行计算的软件程序.在此基础上对He原子和类He离子的基态能量和解析波函数进行了变分计算,得到了比较理想的结果.这表明,采用Matlab或Mathematica设计的软件,在处理变分法问题时,在运算功能、数据的可靠性和准确度方面都是很具潜力的.  相似文献

The infrared structure of MHV gluon amplitudes in planar limit for super Yang–Mills theory is considered in the next-to-leading order of PT. Explicit cancellation of the infrared divergencies in properly defined cross-sections is demonstrated. The remaining finite parts for some inclusive differential cross-sections in planar limit are calculated analytically. In general, contrary to the virtual corrections, they do not reveal any simple structure.  相似文献

We prove that integration over the moduli space of flat connections can be obtained as a limit of integration with respect to the Yang–Mills measure defined in terms of the heat-kernel for the gauge group. In doing this we also give a rigorous proof of Witten’s formula for the symplectic volume of the moduli space of flat connections. Our proof uses an elementary identity connecting determinants of matrices along with a careful accounting of certain dense subsets of full measure in the moduli space.  相似文献
