We study the dynamics of classical correlation and quantum discord of two-qubit system interacted with the thermal reservoir. Special attention is paid to the difference between the entanglement and quantum discord when considering the influences of the nonzero mean photon number and quantum fluctuation of the vacuum. It is shown that in the same range of the physical parameters, the factors leading to the entanglement sudden death only accelerates the decay of quantum discord, and the quantum discord can last for an infinite period when the entanglement disappears. So the quantum discord is more robust than entanglement under this decoherence environment, and quantum discord is a more general measure of quantum correlation than entanglement.  相似文献

We study, in the framework of open quantum systems, the dynamics of quantum entanglement and quantum discord of two mutually independent circularly accelerated two-level atoms in interaction with a bath of fluctuating massless scalar fields in the Minkowski vacuum. We assume that the two atoms rotate synchronically with their separation perpendicular to the rotating plane. The time evolution of the quantum entanglement and quantum discord of the two-atom system is investigated. For a maximally entangled initial state, the entanglement measured by concurrence diminishes to zero within a finite time, while the quantum discord can either decrease monotonically to an asymptotic value or diminish to zero at first and then followed by a revival depending on whether the initial state is antisymmetric or symmetric. When both of the two atoms are initially excited, the generation of quantum entanglement shows a delayed feature, while quantum discord is created immediately. Remarkably, the quantum discord for such a circularly accelerated two-atom system takes a nonvanishing value in the steady state, and this is distinct from what happens in both the linear acceleration case and the case of static atoms immersed in a thermal bath.  相似文献

The goal of this work is to investigate quantum entanglement and quantum discord of a pair of two-level atoms which is driven by an external classical field and interacts with a cavity field. After extracting density matrix of the atom-atom subsystem, it is shown that we have stronger quantum discord by increasing atom-field coupling constant for the case in which there is no entanglement. Moreover, for the atom-atom subsystem it is realized that quantum entanglement and quantum discord cannot increase, they decrease after passing some times due to cavity dissipation. Also quantum entanglement and quantum discord decrease faster by increasing atom-field coupling constant.  相似文献

We study the geometric measure of quantum discord of total Dirac fields in noninertial frames. As a comparison, we also calculate the corresponding geometric measure of entanglement of the same system. We discuss the properties of geometric measure of quantum discord and geometric measure of entanglement for this system with acceleration parameter and the parameter describing the entangle degree of the system in detail. Our results show that from an overall perspective, two geometric measures have similar behavior with the variation of the entangle parameter and the acceleration parameter. We find that this tripartite system is monogamous for the geometric measure of quantum discord.  相似文献

This paper investigates the quantum discord and entanglement of two atoms when they simultaneously interact with a single-mode thermal field. The results show that, the two atoms which are initially in separate states can be entangled by a thermal field. However, with increase of the mean photon number, the value of the entanglement decreases and disappears when the temperature of the cavity is high enough (corresponding to the large value of the mean photon number). In stark contrast, the quantum discord does not decrease, but gradually reaches stable value at high temperature. In addition, when the two atoms are initially the Werner mixed state, we have found that, a large amount of quantum discord is exist even in the region where the entanglement is zero, which is a strong signature for the presence of non classical correlations. These results indicate that, the quantum discord is more resistant to the environment’s disturbance than the entanglement for higher temperatures.  相似文献

The dynamics of tripartite entanglement of fermionic system in noninertial frames through linear contraction criterion when one or two observers are accelerated is investigated. In one observer accelerated case the entanglement measurement is not invariant with respect to the partial realignment of different subsystems and for two observers accelerated case it is invariant. It is shown that the acceleration of the frame does not generate entanglement in any bipartite subsystems. Unlike the bipartite states, the genuine tripartite entanglement does not completely vanish in both one observer accelerated and two observers accelerated cases even in the limit of infinite acceleration. The degradation of tripartite entanglement is fast when two observers are accelerated than when one observer is accelerated. It is shown that tripartite entanglement is a better resource for quantum information processing than the bipartite entanglement in noninertial frames.  相似文献

The effect of Dzialoshinski-Moriya (DM) interaction on the quantum discord and the thermal entanglement of the density matrix of a spin star model is investigated. Our results imply that the quantum correlation measured by quantum discord and thermal entanglement can be established between two surrounding parties both of which have no interaction with each other but interact with the central party independently. From the analysis, we find that the strong DM interaction can enhance the quantum discord and thermal entanglement while the external magnetic field with a large value and the high temperature can shrink them. Specially, the quantum discord is more robust than the thermal entanglement in the sense that the range of parameters in which the quantum discord takes a zero value is much smaller than that of the thermal entanglement.  相似文献

By considering a double Jaynes-Cummings model, we investigate the dynamics of quantum correlations, such as the quantum discord and the entanglement, for two atoms in their respective noisy environments, and study the effect of the purity and the cavity temperature on the quantum correlations. The results show that the entanglement suffers sudden death and revival, however the quantum discord can still reveal the quantum correlations between the two atoms in the region where the entanglement is zero. Moreover, when the temperature of each cavity is high the entanglement dies out in a short time, but the quantum discord still survives for quite a long time. It means that the quantum discord is more resistant to environmental disturbance than the entanglement at higher temperatures.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of quantum discord and entanglement in a two-qubit system coupled to the same quantized field without rotating-wave approximation. In the absence of initial correlations, we show that maximal quantum discord (entanglement) can be obtained in the strong coupling regime. Analytical result corresponding to an effective Hamiltonian is given. In a deep strong coupling regime, sudden death and sudden birth of entanglement are observed, while the peak value of quantum discord is reached periodically. The results of our investigation also suggest that some special quantum state with non-zero quantum discord may be created.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of entanglement and quantum discord between two two-level atoms that interact with a common squeezed reservoir. It is shown that the degree of entanglement and quantum discord are very sensitive to the degree of two-photon correlation for large values of the mean photon number. The squeezed vacuum environment can drive the system to a stationary state with high entanglement and quantum discord for certain X-type states. Furthermore, sudden change happens to the dynamics of quantum discord while the entanglement is remained almost unchanged.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the quantum discord of electron spins of noninteracting electron gases. Our results imply that the quantum discord depends on the relative distance between the two electrons and the temperature. By a comparison between the quantum discord and the entanglement of formation, we find that the quantum discord is more robust than the entanglement of formation in the sense that the quantum discord takes a zero value only at discrete points of the range of the relative distance whereas the entanglement of formation can disappear for a finite relative distance.

In this paper, we study the dynamics of quantum discord and entanglement of three identical two-level atoms simultaneously resonantly interacting with three spatially separate single-mode of high-Q cavities respectively. Taking advantage of the depiction quantum discord and entanglement of formation (EoF), we conclude that the discord and entanglement of atoms and cavities can be mediated by changing some parameters and the maximum values of discord and entanglement are independent on the couplings of cavities and atoms. In particular, there also exists quantum discord sudden death as well as entanglement sudden death and the time interval of the former is shorter than that of the later in the proposed quantum system. It is shown that the discord and entanglement of any two atoms among three atoms can be transferred to the corresponding cavities, and there exists discord and entanglement exchanging between the atoms and the corresponding cavities.  相似文献

The correlations dynamics of a pair of two-level atoms going though a cavity one after another are investigated. It is shown that initial entanglement of two atoms has interesting subsequent time evolution, including the so-called entanglement sudden death as expected, and initial uncorrelated states become entanglement and nonzero quantum discord in the same time. In particular, it is found that the curves of time evolution of entanglement and quantum discord are nearly same profile. It may lead to a better understanding of relations between entanglement and quantum discord.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of quantum discord between two qubits coupled collectively to a thermal reservoir. For comparison, we also consider the dynamics of quantum entanglement. It is shown that we can obtain a stable quantum discord induced by the thermal environment when the discord of the initial state is zero. The thermal environment can also induce a stable amplification of the initially prepared quantum discord for certain X-type states. It is very valuable that the quantum discord is more resistant against the thermal environment than quantum entanglement. And, we have demonstrated that the sudden death of discord in a Markovian regime is impossible even at high temperature. It provides us a feasible way to create and protect quantum correlation in the case of a high-temperature thermal environment for various physical system such as trapped ions, quantum dots or Josephson junctions.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of quantum discord in a system consisting of two Tavis-Cummings models, each of which contains two atoms driven by a classical field. We compare the dynamics of quantum discord for the system with that of entanglement and show that quantum discord vanishes only asymptotically although entanglement disappears suddenly during the time evolution. Furthermore, we examine the influence of the initial states and the classical field on the discord dynamics and find that the value of quantum discord can be improved by adjusting the classical driving field. Finally, the quantum discord of two atoms in dissipative cavity is also discussed.  相似文献

Taking into account the intrinsic decoherence, we have investigated quantum correlations in a two-qubit Heisenberg XX model when a nonuniform magnetic field is included. We compare entanglement measured by entanglement of formation, quantum discord and measurement-induced measurement (MID) and illustrate their different characteristics. Quantum discord and MID show the same features and always exist even though there is no entanglement in the long time limit. In the time evolution, quantum discord could be generated or enhanced to the stable value, while MID just decreases to the stable value.  相似文献

By starting from the stochastic Hamiltonian of the three correlated spins and modeling their frequency fluctuations as caused by dephasing noisy environments described by Ornstein-Uhlenbeck (OU) processes, we study the dynamics of quantum correlations, including entanglement and quantum discord. Of course, in this article, we use two definitions for the quantum discord (global quantum discord and quantum dissension). We prepared initially our open system with the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) and W states and present the exact solutions for evolution dynamics of entanglement and quantum discord between three spins under both Markovian and non-Markovian regime of this classical noise. By comparison the dynamics of entanglement with that of quantum discord we find that entanglement can be more robust than quantum discord against this noise. It is shown that by considering non-Markovian extensions the survival time of correlations prolong. Also, we compare the results of two definitions of the quantum discord and show that the quantum dissension is equal to the global quantum discord for GHZ state, but they are unequal for the W state.  相似文献
