报道了一种LD端面抽运Nd:YAG陶瓷、KTP腔内倍频的全固态连续波绿光激光器.当抽运功率为21.6 W时,1064 nm基频输出达到11.3 W,光—光转换效率为52.3%.采用Ⅱ类切割的KTP晶体作为腔内倍频介质,在直腔结构下获得了最大功率为1.86 W的532 nm绿光输出,光—光转换效率为7%.输出光斑具有高斯型强度分布,1 W输出时的M2因子约为1.7.

The phenomena of simultaneous Q-switching and mode-locking in a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4/Cr:YAG/ KTP green laser are reported and discussed in this paper. With 5.3-W pump power, by using a nearly hemispherical cavity (the cavity length is only 97 mm), the results of modulation depth of 70% and the period of 0.6 ns are obtained, the output power and the repetitive frequency of Q-switched pulse are 90 mW and 12 kHz, respectively. 相似文献

对LD端面抽运的Nd∶YVO4/KTP腔内倍频激光器的三镜折叠腔结构进行优化设计,研究了总腔长、输入镜曲率半径和Nd∶YVO4和KTP晶体的热效应对激光谐振腔的稳定区域、Nd∶YVO4晶体内基模光束半径的影响。实验结果表明:该方法所得出的结论与理论相吻合。在实验中比较了折叠腔不同折叠角度的红光输出功率,并获得了最佳折叠角度为25°,其有效倍频效率为10.8%。最后使用基频光的偏振特性与KTP的相位匹配之间的关系对实验结果进行理论解释。 相似文献

Jones calculus is used to analyze the effect of the polarization characteristics of the output mirror coating of a V-shaped Nd:YVO4/KTP laser on the second harmonic generation. The reflection-induced phase retardance (RIPR) of the coating can quench the second harmonic generation. When the optical axis of Nd:YVO4 makes a π/4 angle with the incident plane of the output mirror and the fast axis of KTP in the incident plane, the RIPR induced reduction of coupling factor of the second harmonic generation is less than 1% if the phase retardance is smaller than 25°. If the polarization direction of the fundamental wave coincides with the eigen-polarization directions of the incident plane, the effect of the reflection-induced phase retardance on the conversing efficiency can be avoided. 相似文献

We demonstrated an efficient second-Stokes Raman laser emission at 1313 nm based on self-frequency stimulated Raman scattering from a diode-end-pumped actively Q-switched YVO(4)/Nd:YVO(4)/YVO(4) laser at 1064 nm for the first time, to the authors' knowledge. A double-end diffusion-bonded Nd:YVO(4) composite crystal was adopted for sufficiently improving the thermal lensing effect in the course of self-frequency stimulated Raman scattering operation. With an incident pump power of 14.6 W and a pulse repetition (PRR) of 40 kHz, a maximum average output power of 2.34 W was obtained, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 16%. Pulse width and peak power were 1.2 ns and 49 kW, respectively. 相似文献

A laser-diode end-pumped acousto-optic (AO) Q-switched Nd:YVO4/KTP red laser by using a plano-concave cavity was demonstrated for the first time. This linear cavity configuration could guarantee not only moderate intracavity focusing on KTP crystal but also good beam quality. Under the absorbed pump power of 14.8 W, the maximum average output power at 671 nm was obtained to be 1.37 W at the repetition frequency of 15 kHz, with the corresponding optical conversion efficiency of 9.3% and the pulse width of 33 ns. The energy of a single pulse and corresponding peak power are estimated to be 91.3 μJ and 2.77 kW, respectively. The rate equations are also numerically solved by introducing the nonlinear loss resulting from generation of second-harmonic wave. 相似文献

We demonstrate a high-power nonlinear mirror (NLM) mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser with a periodically poled KTP (PPKTP). With a 10-mm-long PPKTP crystal, 5.6 W of average power with 20-ps of pulse
duration was generated at 18-W of pump power. Compared with conventional type-II KTP crystal with the same length, the stability
against the Q-switched mode-locking (QML) is significantly increased with PPKTP in NLM laser; and the pulse duration was also
considerably reduced.

A diode-pumped self-Q-switched and mode-locked intracavity frequency doubled Nd:GdVO4/KTP green laser is presented. The self mode-locking is self-starting and stable. About 100% modulation depth for the self-mode-locked
green pulses has been achieved. We propose a developed rate equation model for self-Q-switched and mode-locked lasers, using
the hyperbolic secant function methods and the theory of Kerr-lens mode-locking. This will consider the cascading of second-order
nonlinearities of KTP crystal, the third-order nonlinearity of the laser medium, influences of the continuous pump rate, and
the stimulated radiation lifetime of the active medium. With the model developed, theoretical calculations are shown to be
in good agreement with experimental results. The width of the mode-locked green pulse is estimated to be about 120 ps.
