研究了级联四能级系统中双光子共振非简并四波混频(NFWM)由于加入耦合光场而产生的量子干涉效应,发现在强耦合场作用下NFWM频谱呈现AT劈裂,它反映的是两个缀饰态的能级.量子干涉还使NFWM信号被抑制或增强.此方法牵涉到三光子共振,因此可以成为研究原子或分子高激发态的有效光谱学工具. 关键词: 四波混频 量子干涉  相似文献

采用飞秒时间分辨瞬态简并四波混频技术,在室温下测量了GaAs体材料及其量子阱材料GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As的光学极化超快退相时间,当激光中心波长为785nm,受激载流子浓度为1011cm-2时,它们的退相时间分别为28fs和46fs.量子阱材料的退相时间比体材料的长,这是由于量子阱中的载流子在垂直于GaAs/AlGaAs界面的运动受到限制,运动呈现二维特性,大大减小了载流子的散射概率.实验中观察到瞬态简并四波混 关键词: 时间分辨简并四波混频 飞秒激光脉冲 退相 密度矩阵  相似文献

多波混频是一种重要的非线性光学过程,其在非线性光学和量子信息科学中有重要的应用.本文详细讲述了该领域的进展.在频域中,首先通过电磁诱导透明在实验上得到了共存的四六波混频信号,继而观察到了它们之间伴随着能量交换和时空干涉的相互竞争.此外,两个竞争的四六波混频之间的抑制增强以及相应的AT分裂也被实验证实了.在空间域中,研究了因为两束泵浦光之间干涉导致的电磁诱导光栅,对多波混频信号的空间移动和分裂也进行了讨论,并且得到了带隙孤子,涡旋孤子,有荷偶极孤子,以及二维表面孤子.这些概念可以扩展到量子领域,并且与之相关的一些效应具有研究价值.本文同时也讨论了多波混频在腔量子电动力学中,里德堡态中,以及全固态量子计算中的发展前景以及潜在应用.  相似文献

本文研究了Rb原子气室中泵浦光偏振对简并四波混频信号的影响.实验中,一束泵浦光和探针光沿相同方向传播进入Rb原子气室中,另一泵浦光沿反方向传播进入.通过改变泵浦光的偏振,观察四波混频信号的变化.实验结果表明:当两束泵浦光的偏振平行时,四波混频信号较强;当两束泵浦光的偏振相互垂直时,四波混频信号消失.理论分析表明泵浦光干涉导致的原子布居数差光栅是简并四波混频信号产生的原因.  相似文献

利用微扰法在旋转波近似下分析了铷原子中两个独立的参量四波混频过程和一个耦合的参量四波混频过程.当用超短激光脉冲相干激发这两个参量四波混频过程时,两个过程就会同时出现并且存在相互耦合作用.微扰分析表明,耦合的参量四波混频信号中可以观察到量子拍,量子拍幅度的大小不仅取决于超短脉冲的特性,而且依赖于两个耦合的参量四波混频过程中的相位匹配.  相似文献

本文研究了缀饰原子系统中的双光子共振非简并四波混频.理论上我们研究了多普勒增宽的四能级系统中耦合光场对双光子共振非简并四波混频的影响,发现加入强耦合场后,非简并四波混频频谱出现Autler-Townes分裂;在不同双光子共振失谐时,由于量子干涉双光子共振非简并四波混频的信号能够被抑制或增强.实验上我们在Ba原子蒸汽中,通过引入基态6s2和自电离里德堡态6pnd之间的原子相干证实了该现象.本方法提供了一种不仅可以测得共振频率和横向弛豫,而且可以测得两个高激发原子态之间的跃迁的偶极矩阵元的新的光谱学工具.  相似文献

Based on the polarization interference of Raman- and Rayleigh-enhanced four-wave mixing processes, heterodyne detection of the Raman, Rayleigh and coexisting Raman and Rayleigh femtosecond difference-frequency polarization beats is investigated in the cw and the three Markovian stochastic models, respectively. These two processes exhibit asymmetric and symmetric spectra, respectively, and the thermal effect in them can be suppressed by field-correlation method. Such studies of coexisting Raman- and Rayleigh-enhanced four-wave mixing processes can have important applications in coherence quantum control, and quantum information processing.  相似文献

The concentration dynamics of the scattering spectral width in a number of binary solutions has been studied by four-wave mixing spectroscopy near the Rayleigh resonance. It is noted that, according to the classical concepts, a variation in the correlation length of fluctuations of the relative concentration of molecules in a solution plays a key role in the change in the spectral width. Some liquids exhibit nonmonotonic (hysteretic) concentration dependences of the Rayleigh linewidth.  相似文献

We find that in a two-level system there are two kinds of four-wave mixing processes which destructively contribute to the third-order nonlinear susceptibility. In a paired-photon generation scheme by using a single retroreflected pump beam, these two processes occur with definite time orders. The biphoton temporal correlation, which is measured with a back-to-back geometry in a laser-cooled two-level atomic ensemble, shows a damped Rabi oscillation and photon antibunching. Without suppressing the background of Rayleigh scattering, the upper limit of Cauchy criteria is estimated.  相似文献

We investigated the coexisting four-wave mixing, six-wave mixing and eight-wave mixing in ultra-thin, micrometer and long cells. Such multi-wave mixing (MWM) processes can be modified by the polarization interference. The degree of destructive interference of atomic polarizations can be controlled by the wave vector, dressing field and cell length. Specifically, the oscillation behavior of intensity and linewidth of MWM signal results from the destructive interference in ultra-thin cell. For a doubly-dressed four-wave mixing, the inner dressing field suppresses the destructive polarization interference in micrometer and long cells, induces resonance enhancement. However, the outer dressing field only enhances destructive interference.  相似文献

We study the competition between dispersion and absorption of doubly-dressed four-wave mixing (DDFWM) and dressed six-wave mixing. In the case of weak coupling fields limit, we find DDFWM signal is affected by destructive interference between four-wave mixing(FWM) and six-wave mixing as wen as constructive interference between FWM and eight-wave mixing. By analysing the difference between two kinds of doubly dressing mechanisms (parallel cascade and nested cascade) in this opening five-level system, we can further understand the generated high-order nonlinear optical signal dressed by multi-fields.  相似文献

We demonstrate efficient four-wave mixing with an intensity conversion efficiency of nearly 100% in theory without considering the Doppler-broadening effect in a four-level double-Λ system of hot 87 Rb gas.The corresponding experimental value of about 73% was reported in our earlier work under the same conditions.This dramatic efficiency is critically dependent on the constructive interference between two four-wave mixing processes relevant to the internally generated four-wave mixing signal.  相似文献

We demonstrate degenerate four-wave mixing involving both optical and microwave fields. This four-wave mixing process, with fields that differ in frequency by 5 orders of magnitude, results from stimulated Raman scattering of the optical field from an atomic ground-state Zeeman coherence in warm rubidium vapor, which is induced and maintained by the microwave field.  相似文献
