We prove that, for any transitive Lie bialgebroid (A, A), the differential associated to the Lie algebroid structure on A has the form d=A[Λ,⋅]+Ω, where Λ is a section of 2A and Ω is a Lie algebroid 1-cocycle for the adjoint representation of A. Globally, for any transitive Poisson groupoid (Γ,Π), the Poisson structure has the form , where ΠF is a bivector field on Γ associated to a Lie groupoid 1-cocycle.  相似文献

It is proved that the operator Lie algebra ε(T,T) generated by a bounded linear operator T on Hilbert space H is finite-dimensional if and only if T=N+Q, N is a normal operator, [N,Q]=0, and dimA(Q,Q)<+∞, where ε(T,T) denotes the smallest Lie algebra containing T,T, and A(Q,Q) denotes the associative subalgebra of B(H) generated by Q,Q. Moreover, we also give a sufficient and necessary condition for operators to generate finite-dimensional semi-simple Lie algebras. Finally, we prove that if ε(T,T) is an ad-compact E-solvable Lie algebra, then T is a normal operator.  相似文献

We give a criterion of (micro-)kroneckerity of the linear Poisson pencil on g related to an algebraic Nijenhuis operator on a finite-dimensional Lie algebra g. Let g be the Lie algebra of a connected reductive group G over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p>0. Let Z be the centre of the universal enveloping algebra U=U(g) of g. Its maximal spectrum is called the Zassenhaus variety of g. We show that, under certain mild assumptions on G, the field of fractions Frac(Z) of Z is G-equivariantly isomorphic to the function field of the dual space g with twisted G-action. In particular Frac(Z) is rational. This confirms a conjecture of J. Alev. Furthermore we show that Z is a unique factorisation domain, confirming a conjecture of A. Braun and C. Hajarnavis. Recently, A. Premet used the above result about Frac(Z), a result of Colliot-Thelene, Kunyavskii, Popov and Reichstein and reduction mod p arguments to show that the Gelfand-Kirillov conjecture cannot hold for simple complex Lie algebras that are not of type A, C or G2.  相似文献

A simply connected topological space X has homotopy Lie algebra π(ΩX)⊗Q. Following Quillen, there is a connected differential graded free Lie algebra (dgL) called a Lie model, which determines the rational homotopy type of X, and whose homology is isomorphic to the homotopy Lie algebra. We show that such a Lie model can be replaced with one that has a special property that we call being separated. The homology of a separated dgL has a particular form which lends itself to calculations.  相似文献

Let PB be a principal G-bundle. For any connection θ on P, the Chern-Weil construction of characteristic classes defines an algebra homomorphism from the Weil algebra Wg=Sg⊗∧g into the algebra of differential forms A=Ω(P). Invariant polynomials inv(Sg)⊂Wg map to cocycles, and the induced map in cohomology inv(Sg)→H(Abasic) is independent of the choice of θ. The algebra Ω(P) is an example of a commutativeg-differential algebra with connection, as introduced by H. Cartan in 1950. As observed by Cartan, the Chern-Weil construction generalizes to all such algebras.In this paper, we introduce a canonical Chern-Weil map WgA for possibly non-commutativeg-differential algebras with connection. Our main observation is that the generalized Chern-Weil map is an algebra homomorphism “up to g-homotopy”. Hence, the induced map inv(Sg)→Hbasic(A) is an algebra homomorphism. As in the standard Chern-Weil theory, this map is independent of the choice of connection.Applications of our results include: a conceptually easy proof of the Duflo theorem for quadratic Lie algebras, a short proof of a conjecture of Vogan on Dirac cohomology, generalized Harish-Chandra projections for quadratic Lie algebras, an extension of Rouvière's theorem for symmetric pairs, and a new construction of universal characteristic forms in the Bott-Shulman complex.  相似文献

Looking to the separation of irreducible unitary representations of an exponential Lie group G through the image of their moment map, we propose here a new way: instead to extend the moment map to the universal enveloping algebra of G, we define a non linear mapping Φ from the dual of the Lie algebra g of G to the dual g+ of a larger solvable group G+, and we extend the representation from G to G+, in such a manner that the corresponding coadjoint orbits in g+ have distinct closed convex hull. Let be an affine R-monoid scheme. We prove that the category of dual functors (over the category of commutative R-algebras) of G-modules is equivalent to the category of dual functors of A-modules. We prove that G is invariant exact if and only if A=R×B as R-algebras and the first projection AR is the unit of A. We introduce the notion of vertex coalgebra, a generalization of vertex operator coalgebras. Next we investigate forms of cocommutativity, coassociativity, skew-symmetry, and an endomorphism, D, which hold on vertex coalgebras. The former two properties require grading. We then discuss comodule structure. We conclude by discussing instances where graded vertex coalgebras appear, particularly as related to Primc’s vertex Lie algebra and (universal) enveloping vertex algebras.  相似文献

A super Lie group is a group whose operations are G mappings in the sense of Rogers. Thus the underlying supermanifold possesses an atlas whose transition functions are G functions. Moreover the images of our charts are open subsets of a graded infinite-dimensional Banach space since our space of supernumbers is a Banach Grassmann algebra with a countably infinite set of generators.In this context, we prove that if h is a closed, split sub-super Lie algebra of the super Lie algebra of a super Lie group G, then h is the super Lie algebra of a sub-super Lie group of G. Additionally, we show that if g is a Banach super Lie algebra satisfying certain natural conditions, then there is a super Lie group G such that the super Lie algebra g is in fact the super Lie algebra of G. We also show that if H is a closed sub-super Lie group of a super Lie group G, then GG/H is a principal fiber bundle.We emphasize that some of these theorems are known when one works in the super-analytic category and also when the space of supernumbers is finitely generated in which case, one can use finite-dimensional techniques. The issues dealt with here are that our supermanifolds are modeled on graded Banach spaces and that all mappings must be morphisms in the G category.  相似文献

We introduce obstructions to the existence of a calibrated G2-structure on a Lie algebra g of dimension seven, not necessarily nilpotent. In particular, we prove that if there is a Lie algebra epimorphism from g to a six-dimensional Lie algebra h with kernel contained in the center of g, then h has a symplectic form. As a consequence, we obtain a classification of the nilpotent Lie algebras that admit a calibrated G2-structure.  相似文献

Given any representation of an arbitrary Lie algebra g over a field K of characteristic 0, we construct representations of a central extension of g on bosonic and fermionic Fock space. We determine the Lie group symmetries of the coupled partial differential equations governing a novel problem for the transient flow of a fluid containing a solidifiable gel, through a hydraulically isotropic porous medium. Assuming that the permeability (K) of the porous medium is a function of the gel concentration (c), we determine a number of exact solutions corresponding to the cases where the concentration-dependent permeability is either arbitrary or has a power law variation or is a constant. Each case admits a number of distinct Lie symmetries and the solutions corresponding to the optimal systems are determined. Some typical concentration and pressure profiles are illustrated and a specific moving boundary problem is solved and the concentration and pressure profiles are displayed.  相似文献

In the context of deformation quantization, there exist various procedures to deal with the quantization of a reduced space Mred. We shall be concerned here mainly with the classical Marsden-Weinstein reduction, assuming that we have a proper action of a Lie group G on a Poisson manifold M, with a moment map J for which zero is a regular value. For the quantization, we follow Bordemann et al. (2000) [6] (with a simplified approach) and build a star product red? on Mred from a strongly invariant star product ? on M. The new questions which are addressed in this paper concern the existence of natural -involutions on the reduced quantum algebra and the representation theory for such a reduced -algebra.We assume that ? is Hermitian and we show that the choice of a formal series of smooth densities on the embedded coisotropic submanifold C=J−1(0), with some equivariance property, defines a -involution for red? on the reduced space. Looking into the question whether the corresponding -involution is the complex conjugation (which is a -involution in the Marsden-Weinstein context) yields a new notion of quantized modular class.We introduce a left (C(M)?λ?,?)-submodule and a right (C(Mred)?λ?,red?)-submodule of C(C)?λ?; we define on it a C(Mred)?λ?-valued inner product and we establish that this gives a strong Morita equivalence bimodule between C(Mred)?λ? and the finite rank operators on . The crucial point is here to show the complete positivity of the inner product. We obtain a Rieffel induction functor from the strongly non-degenerate -representations of (C(Mred)?λ?,red?) on pre-Hilbert right D-modules to those of (C(M)?λ?,?), for any auxiliary coefficient -algebra D over C?λ?.  相似文献

In this paper we reduce the problem of 1-dimensional representations for the finite W-algebras and Humphreys' conjecture on small representations of reduced enveloping algebras to the case of rigid nilpotent elements in exceptional Lie algebras. We use Katsylo's results on sections of sheets to determine the Krull dimension of the largest commutative quotient of the finite W-algebra U(g,e).  相似文献

Let g be a simple Lie algebra. An element xg is said to be reachable, if it is contained in the commutant of its centraliser. Any reachable element is necessarily nilpotent. We study various properties of reachable elements, and a relationship between the property of being reachable and the codimension of the boundary of the corresponding orbit.
