For every bundle functor we introduce the concept of subordinated functor. Then we describe subordinated functors for fiber product preserving functors defined on the category of fibered manifolds with m-dimensional bases and fibered manifold morphisms with local diffeomorphisms as base maps. In this case we also introduce the concept of the underlying functor. We show that there is an affine structure on fiber product preserving functors. Quantum homogeneous supervector bundles arising from the quantum general linear supergoup are studied. The space of holomorphic sections is promoted to a left exact covariant functor from a category of modules over a quantum parabolic sub-supergroup to the category of locally finite modules of the quantum general linear supergroup. The right derived functors of this functor provides a form of Dolbeault cohomology for quantum homogeneous supervector bundles. We explicitly compute the cohomology groups, which are given in terms of well understood modules over the quantized universal enveloping algebra of the general linear superalgebra.  相似文献

The inner and outer automorphism groups of a Lie group are generalized by considering automorphisms in the category of homogeneous principal bundles. These automorphisms are then used to produce certain invariant gauge transformations of such bundles. Morphisms of functors or natural transformations between functors of different variance are investigated. In order to be able to define the usual compositions of morphisms of functors in this case, too, and to formulate the corresponding results smoothly, one is forced to define a morphism of functors essentially as a mapping from one category to another and not as usual as a mapping from the class of objects of one category to another category. Two new invariants of a morphism of functors, the parity and the exponent, arise in a natural way and are the main tools in proving all the results.

The homotopy category of one point unions of spheres and the homotopy category of Eilenberg–MacLane spaces are examples of graded theories. Spaces yield models of these theories which can be described in terms of iterated comma categories given by functors. The associated derived functors play an important role in spectral sequences computing homotopy groups. Using cross-effect methods, the derived functors are studied and the existence of a vanishing line is proven.  相似文献

The calculation of the iterated loop functors and their left derived functors on the category of unstable modules over the Steenrod algebra is a non-trivial problem; Singer constructed an explicit and functorial chain complex to calculate these functors. The results of Singer are analysed to give information on the behaviour of these functors with respect to the nilpotent filtration of the category of unstable modules.We show that, if an unstable module M supports an action of an unstable algebra K, then the derived functors of the iterated loop functors applied to M support actions of iterated doubles of K. This allows the finiteness results of Henn on unstable modules which support actions of unstable algebras to be applied to deduce structural results on the derived functors of iterated loops on such modules.  相似文献

In the paper “Extensional PERs” by P. Freyd, P. Mulry, G. Rosolini and D. Scott, a category C of “pointed complete extensional PERs” and computable maps is introduced to provide an instance of an algebraically compact category relative to a restricted class of functors. Algebraic compactness is a synthetic condition on a category which ensures solutions of recursive equations involving endofunctors of the category. We extend that result to include all internal functors on C when C is viewed as a full internal category of the effective topos. This is done using two general results: one about internal functors in general, and one about internal functors in the effective topos.  相似文献

In algebraic quantum field theory the spacetime manifold is replaced by a suitable base for its topology ordered under inclusion. We explain how certain topological invariants of the manifold can be computed in terms of the base poset. We develop a theory of connections and curvature for bundles over posets in search of a formulation of gauge theories in algebraic quantum field theory.  相似文献

This is the first paper in a series. We develop a general deformation theory of objects in homotopy and derived categories of DG categories. Namely, for a DG module E over a DG category we define four deformation functors Defh(E), coDefh(E), Def(E), coDef(E). The first two functors describe the deformations (and co-deformations) of E in the homotopy category, and the last two - in the derived category. We study their properties and relations. These functors are defined on the category of artinian (not necessarily commutative) DG algebras.  相似文献

The Eilenberg-Moore constructions and a Beck-type theorem for pairs of monads are described. More specifically, a notion of a Morita context comprising of two monads, two bialgebra functors and two connecting maps is introduced. It is shown that in many cases equivalences between categories of algebras are induced by such Morita contexts. The Eilenberg-Moore category of representations of a Morita context is constructed. This construction allows one to associate two pairs of adjoint functors with right adjoint functors having a common domain or a double adjunction to a Morita context. It is shown that, conversely, every Morita context arises from a double adjunction. The comparison functor between the domain of right adjoint functors in a double adjunction and the Eilenberg-Moore category of the associated Morita context is defined. The sufficient and necessary conditions for this comparison functor to be an equivalence (or for the moritability of a pair of functors with a common domain) are derived.  相似文献

For all subgroups H of a cyclic p-group G we define norm functors that build a G-Mackey functor from an H-Mackey functor. We give an explicit construction of these functors in terms of generators and relations based solely on the intrinsic, algebraic properties of Mackey functors and Tambara functors. We use these norm functors to define a monoidal structure on the category of Mackey functors where Tambara functors are the commutative ring objects.  相似文献

Monads are well known to be equivalent to lax functors out of the terminal category. Morita contexts are here shown to be lax functors out of the chaotic category with two objects. This allows various aspects in the theory of Morita contexts to be seen as special cases of general results about lax functors. The account we give of this could serve as an introduction to lax functors for those familiar with the theory of monads. We also prove some very general results along these lines relative to a given 2-comonad, with the classical case of ordinary monad theory amounting to the case of the identity comonad on Cat.  相似文献

In this article, we will show that the category of biset functors can be regarded as a reflective monoidal subcategory of the category of Mackey functors on the 2-category of finite groupoids. This reflective subcategory is equivalent to the category of modules over the Burnside functor. As a consequence of the reflectivity, we can associate a biset functor to any derivator on the 2-category of finite categories.  相似文献

Green fields     
We introduce Green fields, as commutative Green biset functors with no non-trivial ideals. We state some of their properties and give examples of known Green biset functors which are Green fields. Among the properties, we prove some criterions ensuring that a Green field is semisimple. Finally, we describe a type of Green field for which its category of modules is equivalent to a category of vector spaces over a field.  相似文献
