Assuming that the Raman gain profile of silica fiber is a triangular function, we derive analytic solutions of N-channel steady-state forward SRS coupling wave equation with equal (but arbitrary) channel spacing. Considering the SRS cross coupling among N-channels, the analytic solutions are applicable to arbitrary signal light power. The results point out that the sequence mi=pi(z)/pi(0) [pi(z) and pi(0) is the power of signal light of i-th channel at transmission length z and 0, respectively. i=1,2,...N] maintains a geometric progression with the common ratio q in the transmission process. The common ratio q varies as a exponential function of the effective transmission length, the sum of input light power and the channel spacing, respectively.  相似文献

给出了拉曼增益系数分离光纤的定义,在考虑了N个单色光之间的两两受激拉曼散射,得到了这种光纤中单向传输的N个不同的单色光之间的受激拉曼散射(SRS)稳态耦合波方程的解析解。它适用于各单色光功率任意大小、光频率分布不均匀时的一般情况。这一结果可应用于光纤通信系统、拉曼光纤放大器和拉曼光纤激光器的设计与分析。最后把解析解与数值解进行了比较,两者取得了很好的一致。  相似文献

采用受激喇曼散射(SRS)耦合波理论分析了抽运光谱宽度对喇曼光纤放大器的影响, 指出当采用宽光谱作抽运光时会降低抽运效率. 同时, 文中还给出了抽运光谱宽度、抽运光功率和抽运效率间的变化规律曲线, 得出当传输光纤的有效截面积越小、喇曼增益系数越大、抽运光的入纤功率和光谱线宽度越大时, 光谱抽运效率越小的结论.  相似文献

The influences of dispersion maps on three major nonlinear effects (SPM, XPM and SRS) in distributed Raman amplified fiber transmission systems with periodic dispersion compensation are numerically investigated at identical nonlinear phase shift. The results show that compared with lumped amplification, distributed amplification tends to enhance the SPM/XPM induced penalties provided per span complete DC is used. However, these performance differences can be canceled out by means of optimal dispersion managements. Moreover, distributed Raman amplification can change the optimal dispersion maps for XPM effects. On the other hand, the impacts of SRS crosstalk are mainly determined by wavelength spacing and walk-off parameter, and the effects of dispersion management are quite limited. For a system with properly designed fiber dispersion characteristics, SRS induced waveform distortion can be well suppressed.  相似文献

在密集波分复用强度调制直接检测光纤系统中 ,导出了包含互相位调制和受激拉曼散射共同作用的强度/相位矩阵表达式。在计算强度噪声谱的基础上 ,研究了互相位调制和受激拉曼散射的相互耦合并用于密集波分复用系统的噪声分析。分析表明 ,受激拉曼散射主要引入低频串扰噪声 ,而互相位调制主要引入高频串扰噪声。相邻较近信道引入的串扰噪声主要来源于互相位调制 ,相邻较远信道引入的串扰噪声主要来源于受激拉曼散射。在单级传输 (无色散补偿 )系统中 ,系统性能一般首先受到互相位调制的限制  相似文献

This paper reports an external fluorescence seeding technology enhancing the stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in liquid‐core optical fiber (LCOF). By surrounding a small section of LCOF with a glass capillary and a solution of Rhodamine 6G filled between them to separate fluorescent dye and Raman medium, the initial intensity of SRS is linearly amplified by external fluorescence seeding, and then the SRS of LCOF can be enhanced effectively. Experimental results show that both the concentration of fluorescent dye and the seeding position have an influence on enhancement of SRS. The maximum enhancement of Stokes lines is obtained when the concentration of dye solution is optimized at ~10−6 mol/l and seeding position is located at the input end. We investigate the stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) and the stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in an ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber amplifier that outputs optical pulses with multi-ns-duration and multi-hundred-kW peak-power. The ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber amplifier is simulated by a model which is composed of a set of propagation-rate equations. The simulated results show that SBS and SRS will deform the output signal pulse in both the time domain and the spectral domain, and degrade the performance of the ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber amplifier seriously. It is shown in our simulation that the troublesome SBS can be effectively suppressed by broadening the signal linewidth to a critical value of 0.07 nm in our calculation, and the effect of SRS can be suppressed using a large-mode-area fiber with proper length. The model and the simulated results are very useful for designing an ultra-high-power ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber amplifier.  相似文献

 报道了“神光 Ⅱ”装置上Au大柱腔靶产生的受激Raman散射光谱。通过分析实验条件和测量结果,排除了散射光谱来自增强非相干Thomson散射的可能性,发现用丝化不稳定性与受激Raman散射的耦合能合理解释观测到的Raman光谱。考虑到丝化不稳定性与SRS的耦合,测量到的散射光谱依然能用于密度诊断,其结果与对流SRS理论的计算值相差不到10%。  相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) is one of the main instabilities affecting success of fusion ignition. Here, we study the relationship between Raman growth and Landau damping with various distribution functions combining the analytic formulas and Vlasov simulations. The Landau damping obtained by Vlasov-Poisson simulation and Raman growth rate obtained by Vlasov-Maxwell simulation are anti-correlated, which is consistent with our theoretical analysis quantitatively. Maxwellian distribution, flattened distribution, and bi-Maxwellian distribution are studied in detail, which represent three typical stages of SRS. We also demonstrate the effects of plateau width, hot-electron fraction, hot-to-cold electron temperature ratio, and collisional damping on the Landau damping and growth rate. They gives us a deep understanding of SRS and possible ways to mitigate SRS through manipulating distribution functions to a high Landau damping regime.  相似文献

报道了利用重复频率为30 Hz,波长为532 nm 的Nd∶YAG倍频激光单次通过抽运硝酸钡(Ba(NO3)2)晶体(晶体由水溶液降温法生长,长度为48 mm,横截面为10 mm×10 mm),获得高效率的一阶(563 nm),二阶(599 nm)和三阶(639 nm)斯托克斯光的实验结果.硝酸钡晶体沿着[110]晶轴方向切割.观测到一、二、三阶斯托克斯光呈锥形环分布,一、二、三阶斯托克斯光的散射外边缘与抽运光轴线间的夹角大小分别为1.7°,3.5°,5.0°.同时也观测到Ba(NO3)2的SRS角度分布与抽运光强度无关.定性分析认定,Ba(NO3)2的SRS角度分布主要是由相位匹配过程决定的.测得抽运光、一、二、三阶斯托克斯光的脉宽分别为11.6 ns,9.8 ns,8.4 ns和4.5 ns.当抽运光功率密度约为150 W/cm2时,获得一、二、三阶斯托克斯光的最大光光转换效率,分别为33.5%,8.8%和3.4%. 此外,由于晶体中的热沉积效应,观察到了Ba(NO3)2晶体的SRS转换效率饱和现象.  相似文献

This paper deals with a new form of nonlinear Raman spectroscopy called ‘ultrafast Raman loss spectroscopy (URLS)’. URLS is analogous to stimulated Raman spectroscopy (SRS) but is much more sensitive than SRS. The signals are background (noise) free unlike in coherent anti‐Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) and it provides natural fluorescence rejection, which is a major problem in Raman spectroscopy. In addition, being a self‐phase matching process, the URLS experiment is much easier than CARS, which requires specific phase matching of the laser pulses. URLS is expected to be alternative if not competitive to CARS microscopy, which has become a popular technique in applications to materials, biology and medicine. For calcite (CaCO3), one of the pioneer crystals in nonlinear optics, new results of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) spectroscopy are presented. Among them are the discovery of a new SRS‐promoting vibration mode with ωSRS2 ≈︁ 282 cm‐1 and its participation, together with the main SRS mode ωSRS1 ≈︁ 1086.5 cm‐1, in cross‐cascaded (χ(3) ↔ χ(3)) nonlinear‐lasing generation, as well as the observation of efficient self‐upconversion via cascaded parametric four‐wave processes of one‐micron Stokes and anti‐Stokes χ(3)‐lasing into the UV‐region of third harmonic generation. The investigations show that calcite is able to generate a χ(3)‐lasing comb of more than two octaves bandwidth. The article also gives a brief review on the discovery and study of the SRS‐effect in natural crystals (minerals), which have expanded our ability to study the photon‐phonon nonlinear‐laser interactions in crystalline materials. A short summary of information about χ(3)‐lasing properties of the triangular planar structure units in SRS‐active crystals is included.  相似文献

In this paper, the impact of second-order dispersion (2OD), third-order dispersion (3OD) and modulation frequency over stimulated Raman scattering (SRS)- and cross-phase modulation (XPM)-induced crosstalk in sub-carrier-multiplexed (SCM) wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) transmission link has been analyzed. It has been observed that there is significant effect of 2OD, 3OD and modulation frequency on the SRS- and XPM-induced crosstalk in a SCM-WDM transmission link. Here the results for SRS- and XPM-induced crosstalk have been reported with independent and combined higher-order dispersion. It has been observed that XPM-induced crosstalk lies between [−52.8 to −45.3] and [−94.7 to −78.6] dB in the presence of 2OD and 3OD respectively for modulation frequencies varied from 500 MHz to 2.0 GHz, while it is in the range of [−94.4 to −84] and [−128.5 to −117] dB when both SRS and XPM are taken into consideration.  相似文献

介绍了动态增益控制的必要性,对动态拉曼传输方程进行了简化,并将其以矩阵形式表示,从而减少了方程的数量,提高了计算速度。由拉曼传输耦合方程推出一种适用于分布式拉曼放大器实时控制的自动控制算法。考虑工程需要,该算法忽略了噪声功率、泵浦间的受激拉曼效应,以及信号和泵浦间受激拉曼效应对泵浦功率的损耗。结果表明该算法能够达到快速抑制输入信号功率突变引起的输出功率/增益波动的目的。  相似文献
