Magnetic dipole transitions between the 2Π12 and 2Π32 components of the ground electronic state of BrO have been detected using the technique of laser magnetic resonance on three CO2 laser lines between 964 and 970 cm?1. This is the first direct observation of the 2Π12 state in BrO. The spin-orbit splitting parameter, A, is determined to be ?967.9831(2) cm?1 for 79Br16O and ?967.9981(2) cm?1 for 81Br16O. Accurate values for the rotational constant Beff(2Π12), the hyperfine parameters (bF + 2c3) and d, the Λ-doubling parameter p, and the Zeeman parameter g| are also determined from an analysis of the measured spectra.  相似文献

We have excited the 4D32 and 4D52 levels of sodium using Doppler-free two-photon excitation. By measuring the polarization rate in zero magnetic field of the fluorescence lines, we have deduced the following values for the hyperfine interaction |A(4D32) | = 0.23 ± 0.12 MHz and |A(4D52)| < 0.28 MHz. The value of A(4D32) is in disagreement with the one reported by Schenk and Pillof.  相似文献

An optimized Woods-Saxon potential, which gives excellent fits to the observed proton states in 209Bi and 207Tl, is used to calculate the excitation energy of the unbound 3p12 proton state in 209Bi. Using the wave functions given by the above potential, the strength of the core-particle interaction is calculated. The effect of the vibration of the core on the fragmentation of the 3p12 state is estimated. It is found that the 3p12 state at 5.123 MeV loses more than 80% of its strength to five 12? collective states in 209Bi and the observed 3p12 state at 3.64 MeV is actually an almost equal mixture of the 3p12 single-proton state and the (4+, 1h92) collective state.  相似文献

The energies of the n2P12 (7 ≤ n ≤ 13) and n2P32 (7 ≤ n ≤ 27) levels of CsI have been redetermined photographically from high resolution absorption measurements of the principal series lines 62S12? n2PJX. The new data disagree significantly [ ≈0.13 cm-1] with the values given in the NBS-Tables of Moore1 which are taken from a paper by Kratz.2 By means of an extended Ritz-formula, the ionization energy of CsI was found to be 31406.46±0.03 cm-1, which is, within the limit of uncertainty, in agreement with the data of Kleiman,3 Eriksson et al.,4 Bockasten,5 and Eriksson and Wenåker.6  相似文献

The deviations from the exponential decay law of the 2P12 states of the Dirac hydrogen atom with respect to the transition 2P12→1S12 are numerically estimated. We find |a0(t) ? exp(?λt)|?2.5 × 10?4 for all t, where a0(t) is the “exact” decay amplitude and λ is a complex constant such that (2Re λ)?1 is the “natural lifetime” of the 2P12 states with respect to the spontaneous transition to 1S12.  相似文献

The measurement of the 2S12 → 2P12 energy transition in muonic helium is presented. The energy difference S1 is found to be Sexp1 = 1381.3±0.5 meV. This result agrees with the expected value S?1 = 1381.2±0.3 meV obtained assuming the previously measured value for the 2S12 → 2P32 energy difference.  相似文献

A magnetic dipole core polarization was studied by investigating a magnetic moment of the 1117 keV 1h112 single-proton state in 141Pr. The 139La(α, 2nγ)141Pr reaction was used to populate the 1h112 state with spin aligned in a plane perpendicular to the beam axis. The magnetic moment was obtained by measuring perturbed angular distributions of the 972 keV gamma rays from the 1h112 state. The g-factor of the 1h112 state in 141Pr was determined to be g = 1.30 ± 0.08. The isovector spin g-factor was deduced from the present result and the data for 1h112. neutron states. It is gs?effgs?free = 0.45 ± 0.1. The reduction is explaine spin-isospin (M1) core polarization.The isovector M1 core polarization factor (nuclear M1 susceptibility) is found to be one third of the M2 core polarization factor (nuclear M2 susceptibility) for the 1h112 state.  相似文献

Methods of obtaining nucleon occupancies from total energy-weighted sum rules for spectroscopic factors are described and applied to f72 neutron transfer data for Ca isotopes. The f72 neutron occupancies obtained are consistent with shell model expectations and, for 41Ca and 43Ca, with values previously obtained from an analysis using non-energy-weighted sum rules.  相似文献

The structure of negative-parity states in odd-mass N= 82 isotones (135 ≦ A ≦ 145) is investigated in the framework of a model which is based on coupling one 1h112 proton to π = + 1 states of the appropriate doubly-even isotonic core. It is shown that an effective model-space truncation can be achieved if only core states in the vicinity of the yrast line are taken into account. These have been selected from the several hundreds or even thousands of states obtained from shell-model calculations, where the 1g72, 2d52, 2d32 and 3s12 single- are assumed to be occupied. Spectroscopic data are calculated and predictions on the structure of low-lying π = ? 1 states are discussed and compared as far as possible to experimental findings. Thereby, the particle-core coupling approach is shown to be capable of describing essential properties of negative-parity levels in the N = 82 nuclei considered.  相似文献

Polarized isomeric 24Nam(T12 = 20 ms, Iπ = 1+) nuclei were produced by capture of polarized thermal neutrons in a NaF single crystal at room temperature. Although the oscillator strength of the 6S12?7S12 transition is only 4.0×10-15, by the Hanle effect in a zero electric field this transition gives rise to a very specific signal well above noise and background. From the hfs profile, we can test the magnetic dipole nature of the transition and obtain direct evidence for its perturbation by hyperfine mixing between the two S states. Our new values of Mhf1/M1 and M1 and M1/β agree with previous results, and the accuracy of Mhf1/M1 is improved.  相似文献

Natural radiative lifetimes and the signs of previously determined hyperfine coupling constants were determined for the 4s26p2P32,12 levels of gallium. The lifetimes were found to be 167(4) and 172(9) ns, respectively. In addition, the quadrupole moments of 69Ga [0.17(3) b] and 71Ga [0.10(2) b] were deduced, and the isotope shifts in the 639.7 and 641.3 nm Ga lines were determined.  相似文献

The magnetic moments of the 12+ isomers in 192, 196, 198, 200, 206Pb and of the 332+ isomer in 205Pb have been measured using the PAD technique. The results for the g-factors are: g(192) = ?0.173(2), g(196) = ?0.1600(15), g(198) = ?0.1552(15), g(200) = ?0.1512(15), g(206) = ?0.1496(18), and g(205) = ?0.148(5). As all states have a rather pure (νi132)?n configuration, the values reflect directly the νi132 orbital. They show a decrease towards the more neutron-deficient isotopes attributed to the reduced core polarisation as a result of decreasing occupation of the i132 neutron shell. The measured systematics are discussed regarding core polarisation, mesonic corrections, and small admixtures of core-excited states to the i132 wave function.  相似文献
