Measurement of the Meissner penetration depth, λ(T) were made in amorphous Zr70Cu30 samples. The results indicate that this amorphous alloy behaves as a BCS superconductor with 2Δ(0)?kTc = 3.8, where Δ(0) is the superconducting energy gap at T=0 and Tc the critical temperature. It is also concluded that the low energy excitation, TLS, characteristics of amorphous material does not contribute to Tc.  相似文献

In the present work, the iron oxypnictide superconductor of the namely Nd0.8Ba0.2FeAsO0.6F0.4 is prepared with respect to the observation of distinct magnetization characteristics arising from both electron and hole doping. A magnetothermal phase diagram is given for the present iron oxypnictide system, based on the irreversibility fields (Hirr) and the upper critical fields (Hc2) obtained from magnetotransport measurements, as well as the lower critical fields (Hc1) evaluated by magnetization loops at various temperatures. High Hc2(0) are revealed at low temperature range, which is in consistent with the observations of comparatively high critical current (Jc) and the temperature dependent peak effect in the Jc vs H curves.  相似文献

The crystal structures of (NH+4)Zr2(PO4)3 and (H3O+)Zr2(PO4)3 have been determined from neutron time-of-flight powder diffraction data obtained at 15 K. Both compounds are rhombohedral, R3c, with cell parameters a=8.7088(1) and c=24.2197(4) Å for the ammonium compound and a=8.7528(2), c=23.6833(11) Å for the hydronium compound. In both cases the ions are completely localized in the type I cavities and hydrogen bonded to lattice oxygens. The measured unit cell parameters are relatively large for this class of compounds but the entrance ways into the cavities are still too small to allow for unrestricted movement of the ions. Thus the low conductivity of the hydronium ion is related to this and other structural features.  相似文献

Ferromagnetic stripe domains are observed in K2CuF4 below Tc=6.19 K by use of Faraday rotation (FR). They are about 4 μm wide and lie parallel to the c-planes. They are due to a very small intraplanar anisotropy field as a result of the minute orthorhombic lattice distortion observed by Hidaka and Walker. A stripe domain model, including closure domains for complete demagnetization, is in accordance with the experimental observations if the anisotropy fields HoutA=1.4kOe and HinA=0.1 Oe are introduced. Long-range order, presumably induced by interplanar exchange, is a accompanied by 3d Ising critical behavior as verified by critical exponents obtained from different magneto-optical measurements (α=0.07, β=0.33 and δ=4.6). Changes of the domain structure, of the ac-plane FR, and of the ac-plane linear birefringence due to a transverse magnetic field H 6 a are discussed. A non-vanishing internal field is preceded by a domain instability. The compatibility of the domain structure with neutron scattering results of Hirakawa and Yoshizawa is discussed.  相似文献

Measurements of the critical temperature, Tc(x), the critical field, Hc2(x,T) and the susceptibility, χ (T), as a function de la concentration, x, in the system La3−x CexIn, are compared with the theories of Muller-Hartmann and Zittsrtz, and Abrikosov and Gor'kov. The Hc2(x, T = 0) and χ(T) measurements indicate the appearance of short range antiferromagnetic order around x = 0.04 which is probably responsible for the anomalous behavior of Tc(x).  相似文献

The magnetic phase diagram of the monoclinic antiferromagnet MnBr24H2O (obtained from differential magnetization measurements) is presented for temperatures down to T = 0.3 K, and for applied magnetic fields parallel to the crystallographic axes a', b and c. For Hc an unusual behaviour is observed below T ≈ 0.55 K where the antiferro-paramagnetic boundary apparently splits into three others. It is shown that our critical fields extrapolated to T = 0 are consistent with a recent theory proposed by Becerra and Ferreira.  相似文献

The effect of aromatic hydrocarbon (benzene, C6H6) addition on lattice parameters, microstructure, critical temperature (Tc), critical current density (Jc) of bulk MgB2 has been studied. In this work only 2 mol% C6H6 addition was found to be very effective in increasing the Jc values, while resulting in slight reduction of the Tc. Jc values of 2 mol% C6H6 added MgB2 bulks reached to 1.83×106 A/cm2 at 15 K and 0 T. Microstructural analyses suggest that Jc enhancement is associated with the substitution of carbon with boron and which also results in the smaller MgB2 grain size. The change in the lattice parameters or the lattice disorder is claimed as a cause of the slight reduction in the Tc by carbon addition. We note that our results show the advantages of C6H6 addition include homogeneous mixing of precursor powders, avoidance of expansive nanoadditives, production of highly reactive C, and significant enhancement in Jc of MgB2, compared to un-doped samples.  相似文献

Perovskite types Ba1−xCaxTi0.6Zr0.4O3 (with x=0.0-0.5) ceramics have been prepared through solid state reaction route. The room temperature XRD study suggests the compositions with x=0.0 and x=0.1 have single phase cubic symmetry. With further increase in Ca content, solid solution breaks and an orthorhombic CaTiO3 like phase is developed. The dielectric study on single phase compositions (x=0.0 and 0.1) reveals that the materials are of relaxor type and undergo a diffuse type ferroelectric phase transition. In the Ca containing composition higher transition temperature is observed than the pure BaTi0.6Zr0.4O3 materials. In the paraelectric region (above Tc) lower diffusivity is observed in the Ca containing composition. The strength of relaxation is calculated and found to be more in Ca containing material than that of pure BaTi0.6Zr0.4O3 composition.  相似文献

本文研究非晶态Co70Cr20Zr10合金在居里温度附近的磁性,样品的磁特性符合二级相变规律。得到临界指数β=0.45±0.02,γ=1.9±0.1,δ=5.13±0.05。Co70Cr20Zr10合金的居里温度为Tc=(186.7±0.2)K。临界指数β,γ,δ满足γ=β(δ-1)关系,但临界指数值都偏离三维Heisenberg模型的理论值,这种行为可能起源于非晶态合金磁的不均匀性。讨论了Kouvel-Fisher(K-F)参数γ(T)对温度T的依赖关系。 关键词:  相似文献

Nb-sheathed Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 superconducting wires have been fabricated using the powder-in-tube (PIT) method for the first time and the superconducting properties of the wires have been investigated. The transition temperature (Tc) of the Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires is confirmed to be as high as 35.3 K. Most importantly, Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires exhibit a very weak Jc-field dependence behavior even the temperature is very close to Tc. The upper critical field Hc2(0) value can exceed 140 T, surpassing those of MgB2 and all the low temperature superconductors. Such high Hc2 and superior Jc-field performance make the 122 phase SrKFeAs wire conductors a powerful competitor potentially useful in very high field applications.  相似文献

The electrical resistance of a linear chain metal Nb3Te4 were measured from 1.3 to 320 K. The residual resistance ratio R(300 K)R(4.2 K) is about 3. Nb3Te4 shows an anomaly in the resistivity vs temperature at about 80 K, suggesting an occurrence of a charge-density-wave transition. The transverse and longitudinal magnetoresistance at 4.2 K are proportional to the magnetic field in the range of 2–58 kOe. In the superconducting region close to the transition temperature Tc, the critical magnetic field Hc2 is proportional to δT=Tc?T. The angular dependence of Hc2 fits well with the fluxoid model of the Ginzburg-Landau theory. The ratio of the critical fields parallel and perpendicular to the chain direction is 4.8.  相似文献

We determine the upper critical field μ0Hc2(Tc) of non-centrosymmetric superconductor Y2C3 using two distinct methods: the bulk magnetization M(T) and the tunnel-diode oscillator (TDO) based impedance measurements. It is found that the upper critical field reaches a value of 30 T at zero temperature which is above the weak-coupling Pauli paramagnetic limit. We argue that the observation of such a large μ0Hc2(0) in Y2C3 could be attributed to the admixture of spin-singlet and spin-triplet pairing states as a result of broken inversion symmetry.  相似文献

The phases, microstructure, and magnetic properties of Co80Zr18−xNbxB2 (x=1, 2, 3, and 4) melt-spun ribbons were investigated. The small substitution of Nb for Zr in the Co–Zr–B melt-spun ribbons resulted in the improvement of magnetic properties, especially the coercivity. The main effect of added Nb on the coercovity of Co–Zr–Nb–B melt-spun ribbons, originated from modification of the grain size of Co11Zr2 phase. The coercivity of the Co–Zr–Nb–B melt-spun ribbons depends on the annealing temperature. The optimal magnetic properties of Hc=5.1 kOe, and (BH)max=3.4 MGOe were obtained in the Co80Zr15Nb3B2 melt-spun ribbons annealed at 600 °C for 3 min.  相似文献

The metamagnetic behaviour of CoCl2·2H2O has been determined by means of neutron diffraction. At T = 4.2 K the reflections of the antiferromagnetic zero-field phase disappear, when a magnetic field of Hc1 = 31.8 kOe is applied along the b axis. The new ferrimagnetic phase vanishes at Hc2 = 46.1 kOe and the magnetically saturated configuration is reached. The three phases meet at a triple point at TT = 8.9 K and HT = 37.5 kOe. The magnetizations of Zr76Ni24 metallic glass and hydrogen-doped partially crystalline (Zr76Ni24)1−xHx metallic glasses have been measured in the temperature range 10-300 K and magnetic fields up to 2 T for various dopant concentrations (x=0, 0.024, 0.043, 0.054). It is found that the samples are paramagnetic and magnetic susceptibility at room temperature, χ(300 K), shows a nonmonotonic behaviour upon hydrogenation. The values of χ(300 K) of the hydrogen-doped partially crystalline (Zr76Ni24)1−xHx metallic glasses are reduced with increase in hydrogen content up to x=0.043, whereas for x=0.054, an enhancement of χ(300 K) has been revealed. The magnetic susceptibility is weakly temperature dependent down to 110 K, below which an increase is observed. A shallow minimum exists between 90 and 120 K. The form and magnitude of the observed temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility are well accounted for by the sum of the quantum corrections to the magnetic susceptibility. Hydrogen reduces the electronic diffusion constant and influences strongly the quantum interference at defects, slowing down the spin diffusion and enhancing the magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range from 110 down to 10 K.  相似文献

Antiferromagnetic resonance results on α-RbMnCl3 · 2H2O below the Néel temperature 4.56 K are reported. At T = 1.2K we find for the anisotropy fields Hc = 440 Oe and Ha = 1510 Oe. The spin flop field at T = 1.2K is 14.62 kOe.  相似文献

MgB1.9C0.1 samples are synthesized under the ambient pressure (AP) and high pressure (HP), respectively. The further studies demonstrate different field-dependence of the critical current density Jc(H) in each sample. In the view of two-gap superconductivity in these samples, δTc pinning (resulting from the spatial fluctuations of the transition temperature) is dominant in the AP sample, while in the HP sample, both δTc and δl pinning (due to the mean-free-path fluctuations) act together and their contributions vary with temperature. Besides the improvement of Hc2(0), due to the different pinning mechanism, Jc(H) of the HP sample shows a slower decay with the increasing fields than that of the AP sample in high fields, which suggests a possible method of retarding the rapid decay of Jc(H) under elevated fields.  相似文献
