Abstract

A concise synthesis of (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadien-1-ol and (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienal is presented. Commercially available (Z)-2-penten-1-ol was converted to ethyl-(2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienoate by reaction with activated MnO2 and (carboethoxymethylene)triphenylphosphorane in the presence of benzoic acid as a catalyst. Ethyl-(2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienoate was converted to (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadien-1-ol with LiAlH4. The alcohol was partially oxidized to (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienal with MnO2. The title compounds are male-specific, antennally active volatile compounds from the Saltcedar leaf beetle, Diorhabda elongata Brulle (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) and have potential use in the biological control of the invasive weed saltcedar (Tamarix spp).  相似文献

In order to characterize the structural elements that might play a role in non-covalent DNA binding by the antitumor antibiotic leinamycin, we have solved the crystal structures of the two leinamycin analogs, methyl (R)-5-{2-[1-(tert-butoxy­carbonyl­amino)­ethyl]­thia­zol-4-yl}penta-(E,E)-2,4-dienoate, C16H22N2O4S, (II), and 2-methyl-8-oxa-16-thia-3,17-di­aza­bicyclo­[12.2.1]­heptadeca-(Z,E)-1(17),10,12,14-tetraene-4,9-di­one, C14H16N2O3S, (III). The penta-2,4-dienone moiety in both of these analogs adopts a conformation close to planarity, with the thia­zole ring twisted out of the plane by 12.9 (2)° in (II) and by 21.4 (4)° in (III).  相似文献

(E)-1-Iodo-2-arylselenoethylenes 1 underwent the Sonogashira coupling reactions with terminal alkynes 2 to afford (E)-1-arylseleno-substituted 1,3-enynes 3 in high yields. (E)-1-Arylseleno-substituted 1,3-enynes 3 were coupled with alkynylmagnesium bromides 4 in the presence of a catalytic amount of NiCl2(PPh3)2 to give stereoselectively (E)-enediynes 5 in good yields.  相似文献

By unambiguous methods, (Z)- and (E)-2, 3-dimethyl(1, 1, 1, 4, 4, 4-2H6)but-2-enes ( 3 ) were synthesized and transformed to the epoxides 4 with 3-chloroperbenzoic acids. Both the isotopomeric olefins and the epoxides are detected separately by 1H-NMR at 400 MHz. Epoxidation of (Z)- 3 with [RhICl(PPh3)3]/cumene hydroperoxide resulted in a 1: 1 mixture of (Z)- and (E)- 4 , while reaction of (Z)- 3 with [FeIII(tpp)]Cl/PhIO gave only (Z)- 4 (tpp = tetraphenylporphyrin).  相似文献

Summary.  Ab initio calculations at the HF/6-31G* level of theory for geometry optimization and the MP2/6-31G*//HF/6-31G* level for a single point total energy calculation are reported for (Z,Z)-, (E,Z)-, and (E,E)-cycloocta-1,4-dienes. The C 2-symmetric twist-boat conformation of (Z,Z)-cycloocta-1,4-diene was calculated to be by 3.6 kJ·mol−1 more stable than the C S-symmetric boat-chair form; the calculated energy barrier for ring inversion of the twist-boat conformation via the C S-symmetric boat-boat geometry is 19.1 kJ·mol−1. Interconversion between twist-boat and boat-chair conformations takes place via a half-chair (C 1) transition state which is 43.5 kJ·mol−1 above the twist-boat form. The unsymmetrical twist-boat-chair conformation of (E,Z)-cycloocta-1,4-diene was calculated to be by 18.7 kJ·mol−1 more stable than the unsymmetrical boat-chair form. The calculated energy barrier for the interconversion of twist-boat-chair and boat-chair is 69.5 kJ·mol−1, whereas the barrier for swiveling of the trans-double bond through the bridge is 172.6 kJ·mol−1. The C S symmetric crown conformation of the parallel family of (E,E)-cycloocta-1,4-diene was calculated to be by 16.5 kJ·mol−1 more stable than the C S-symmetric boat-chair form. Interconversion of crown and boat-chair takes place via a chair (C S) transition state which is 37.2 kJ·mol−1 above the crown conformation. The axial- symmetrical twist geometry of the crossed family of (E,E)-cycloocta-1,4-diene is 5.9 kJ·mol−1 less stable than the crown conformation. Corresponding author. Robenidine (E)-N′-((E)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)ethylidene)-2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)ethylidene)hydrazine-1-carboximidhydrazide displays methicillin-resistant Staphyoccoccus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE) MICs of 2 μg mL−1. Herein we describe the structure-activity relationship development of a novel series of guanidine to 2-aminopyrimidine isosteres that ameliorate the low levels of mammalian cytotoxicity in the lead compound while retaining good antibiotic activity. Removal of the 2-NH2 pyrimidine moiety renders these analogues inactive. Introduction of a central 2-NH2 triazine moiety saw a 10-fold activity reduction. Phenyl to cyclohexyl isosteres were inactive. The 4-BrPh and 4-CH3Ph with MIC values of 2 and 4 μg mL−1, against MRSA and VRE respectively, are promising candidates for future development.  相似文献

Bromination of 3-phenylthio-2-sulfolene (2) with N-bromosuccinimide gave 2-bromo-3-phenylthio-2-sulfolene (3) which was converted mainly to 2,3-bis(phenylthio)-2-sulfolene (4) by treatment with sodium phenylthiolate. Thermal desulfonylation of 4 at different temperatures in the presence of a base (DBU) yielded stereoselectively the (Z)- and (E)-1,2-bis(phenylthio)-1,3-butadiene (6). These two geometric isomers could be thermally interconverted. The Diels-Alder reactions of 6 were also investigated. Only the (Z)-diene 6a could undergo the Diels-Alder reaction; the (E)-diene 6b was in situ converted to the Z isomer before undergoing (he Diels-Alder reaction. The reaction of 6a with N-phenylmaleimide gave the cycloaddition product 7 with complete endo selectivity, but under daylight or during chromatography it readily underwent a thioallylic rearrangement to yield 8 with inversion of configuration. The cycloaddition of 6a with methyl acrylate proceeded regiospecifically, but generating a mixture of endo and exo isomers. The endo/exo ratio could be increased by using ZnCl2 as the catalyst.  相似文献

Reduction of 1,2-Bis[(Z)-(2-nitrophenyl)-NNO-azoxy]benzene1: Synthesis of Cyclotrisazobenzene ( = (5E,6aZ,11E,12aZ,17E,18aZ)-5,6,11,12,17,18-Hexaazatribenzo[aei][1,3,5,7,9,11]cyclododeca-hexaene) Na2S reduction of 1,2-bis[(Z)-(2-nitrophenyl)-NNO-azoxy]benzene ( 2 ) yielded 3 deoxygenated products: the (known) red 2,2′-((E,E)-1,2-phenylenbisazo)dianiline ( 3 , 23%), the orange 2-[2-((E)-2-aminophenylazo)phenyl]-2H-benzotriazol ( 4 , 55%) and the colorless 2,2′-(1,2-phenylene)di-2H-benzotriazol ( 5 , 13%). The constitutions of 3 – 5 and of 6 , the N-acetyl derivative of 4 , were deduced from their 1H-NMR spectra (chemical shifts, couplings, and symmetry properties), and the configurations of 3 , 4 , and 6 at their N,N-double bonds are assumed to be the same as in 2 . Oxidation of 3 with 2 mol-equiv. of Pb(OAc)4 afforded 5 (47%) and a novel, highly symmetrical macrocycle, called cyclotrisazobenzene ( 7 , 24%). The constitution of 7 as a tribenzo-hexaaza[12]annulene and its (E)-configuration at the N,N-bonds was confirmed by X-ray analysis. The molecular symmetry expressed by the 1H-, 13C- and 15N-NMR spectra of 7 reveals a rapid torsional motion around the six N,C bonds. This implies that the N,N-double bonds in the cyclic 12π-electron system (or 24π-electron system if the benzene rings are included) of 7 are highly localized.  相似文献

A series of phenyl azides bearing (E)-2-halovinyl groups were synthesized in high yields by treatment of (E)-3-(4-azidophenyl)- and (E)-3-(2-azidophenyl)acrylic acid with N-halosuccinimide in the presence of LiOAc. (E)-4-(2-bromovinyl) phenyl azide, one of the synthesized intermediates, was selected to transform to a diverse range of phenyl-1, 2, 3-triazoles bearing (E)-4-(2-bromovinyl) groups by Cu(I)-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction.  相似文献

A new dioxime ligand, (2E,3E)-3-[(6-{[(1E,2E)-2-(hydroxyimino)-1-methylpropylidene]amino}-pyridin-2-yl)imino]butan-2-one oxime, (H2Pymdo) (3) has been synthesized in H2O by reacting 2,3-butenedione monoxime (2) with 2,6-diaminopyridine. Mono-, di- and tri-nuclear copper(II) complexes of the dioxime ligand (H2Pymdo) and/or 1,10-phenanthroline have been prepared. The dioxime ligand (H2Pymdo) and its copper(II) complexes were characterized by 1H-n.m.r., 13C-n.m.r. and elemental analyses, magnetic moments, i.r. and mass spectral studies. The mononuclear copper(II) complex of H2Pymdo was found to have a 1:1 metal:ligand ratio. Elemental analyses, stoichiometric and spectroscopic data of the metal complexes indicated that the metal ions are coordinated to the oxime and imine nitrogen atoms (C=N). In the dinuclear complexes, in which the first Cu(II) ion was complexed with nitrogen atoms of the oxime and imine groups, the second Cu(II) ion is ligated with dianionic oxygen atoms of the oxime groups and are linked to the 1,10-phenanthroline nitrogen atoms. The trinuclear copper(II) complex (6) was formed by coordination of the third Cu(II) ion with dianionic oxygen atoms of each of two molecules of the mononuclear copper(II) complexes. The data support the proposed structure of H2Pymdo and its Cu(II) complexes.  相似文献

The first synthesis of (Z)-neomanoalide ( 4 ) and an improved synthesis of its (E)-isomer 3 was accomplished in a concise, regiocontrolled manner by exploiting 2-[(tert-butyl)dimethylsiloxy]-4{[(tert-butyl)dimethylsiloxy]-methyl}furan ( 6 ) as the key reagent. Lithiation of 6 and subsequent reaction with the (2Z)- or (2E)-isomer of (6E)-3-{[(tert-butyl)dimethylsiloxy]methyl}-7-methyl-9-(2′,6′,6′-trimethylcyclohex-1′-enyl)nona-2,6-dienyl bromide ( 5 ), followed by hydrolysis, afforded the corresponding neomanoalide.  相似文献

Rose bengal-sensitized photooxygenation of 4-propyl-4-octene ( 1 ) in MeOH/Me2CHOH 1:1 (v/v) and MeOH/H2O 95:5 followed by reduction gave (E)-4-propyl-5-octen-4-ol ( 4 ), its (Z)-isomer 5 , (E)-5-propyl-5-octen-4-ol ( 6 ), and its (Z)-isomer 7 . Analogously, (E)-4-propyl[1,1,1-2H3]oct-4-ene ( 2 ) gave (E)-4-propyl[1,1,1-2H3]oct-5-en-4-ol ( 14 ), its (Z)-isomer 15 , (E)-5-[3′,3′,3′-2H3]propyl-5-octen-4-ol ( 16 ), its (Z)-isomer 17 , and the corresponding [8,8,8-2H3]-isomers 18 and 19 (see Scheme 1). The proportions of 4–7 were carefully determined by GC between 10% and 85% conversion of 1 and were constant within this range. The labeled substrate 2 was photooxygenated in two high-conversion experiments, and after reduction, the ratios 16/18 and 17/19 were determined by NMR. Isotope effects in 2 were neglected and the proportions of corresponding products from 1 and 2 assumed to be similar (% 4 ≈? % 14 ; % 5 ≈? % 15 ; % 6 ≈? % ( 16 + 18 ): % 7 ≈? % ( 17 + 19 )). Combination of these proportions with the ratios 16/18 and 17/19 led to an estimate of the proportions of hydroperoxides formed from 2 . Accordingly, singlet oxygen ene additions at the disubstituted side of 2 are preferred (ca. 90%). The previously studied trisubstituted olefins 20–25 exhibited the same preference, but had both CH3 and higher alkyl substituents on the double bond. In these substrates, CH3 groups syn to the lone alkyl or CH3 group appear to be more reactive than CH2 groups at that site beyond a statistical bias.  相似文献

(2E,4E)-5-Aryl-2-(2-benzyloxyethyl)penta-2,4-dien-1-als (aryl is phenyl and 4-methox-yphenyl) were reduced with NaBH4 quantitatively and stereospecifically to the corresponding penta-2(E),4(E)-dien-1-ols. The hydroxymethyl group in the latter was transformed into a methyl one with a stereoselectivity of 92–97%. Debenzylation of the resulting (1E,3Z)-1-aryl-6-benzyloxy-4-methylhexa-1,3-dienes with AlCl3 in the presence of PhNMe2 afforded the target (3Z,5E)-6-aryl-3-methylhexa-3,5-dien-1-ols; the configuration of the C=C bonds in the conjugated aryl diene systems was retained at 95%.  相似文献

Rh(I)-Catalysed Rearrangements of 3,4-Diacyloxy-1,5-hexadiynes; Synthesis of (E)-4-Acyloxymethyliden-2-cyclopenten-1-ones The 3,4-diacyloxy-1,5-hexadiynes 3, 6 and 8 which were synthesized according to a known, slightly modified procedure react with [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 at 100° in chloroform with formation of the (E)-4-acyloxymethyliden-2-cyclopenten-1-ones 4, 7 and 9 (Schemes 2, 3 and 4), respectively. DL - and meso- 3 as well as trans- and cis- 8 , give the same (E)-isomers 4 and 9 , respectively. 3,4-Diacetoxy-3, 4-dimethyl-1, 6-diphenyl-1,5-hexadiyne ( 10 ) produces with the same catalyst 2,6-diacetoxy-3, 4-dimethyl-1,6-diphenylfulvene ( 11 ) (Scheme 5). Photo-oxygenation of (E)-7-methyl-β-ionone ((E)? 1 ) and (E)-8-methyl-β-ionone ((E)? 2 ) gave rise to the formation of the hydroperoxy-enones (E)? 10 and (E)? 15 , respectively, which, in part, underwent intramolecular epoxidation to the hydroxy-epoxy-ketones 11 and 16 , respectively, The product distribution of the photo-oxidation of (Z)? 1 shows a marked influence of the skewed ground-state conformation of the dienone chromophore. Thus, singlet oxygen (1O2) was added to C(γ) of the dienone chromophore leading to the spirocyclic peroxy-hemiacetal 12 and to the endoperoxide 13 . In addition, the tricyclic peroxide 14 was formed as a new type of product via primary addition of 1O2 to C(γ) of the dienone chromophore. The structure of 14 was established by X-ray crystal-structure analysis of the hemiacetal 22 .  相似文献

Abstract

A facile procedure is presented for the synthesis of (E)-1-(3′-hydroxy-2′-furanyl)-3-(3″-hydroxy-4″-methoxyphenyl)-2- propen-1-one (6). Galactosylisomaltol (1) was condensed with isovanillin (2) under strong alkaline conditions at 25 [ddot]C to form (E)-1-(3′-O-β-D-galactopyranosyloxy-2′-furanyl)-3-(3″- hydroxy-4″-methoxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-one (4). (E)-1-(3′-hydroxy-2′-furanyl)-3-(3″-hydroxy-4″-methoxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-one (6) was obtained by acid hydrolysis of 4 in a 53.9% yield. This hetero-cyclic 2-propen-1-one was characterized on the basis of spectral data (IR and 1H NMR), physicochemical properties, and conversion to a mono-O-acetyl derivative.  相似文献
