It is shown that QCD corrections taking into account both collinear and infrared gluons attain a magnitude of the order of 100% in the reaction PP r + X. The value of the K factor is calculated: K1.5–1.6 withk T 10 (GeV/sec)2. We calculate radiative corrections to the flavor-changing neutral current process Kπ ? + ? ?, both for charged and neutral kaon decays. While the soft-photon approximation is shown to work well for the muon channels, we discuss the necessity of further phase space cuts with electrons in the final state. It is also shown how to transfer our results to other decays such as ηγ ? + ? ? or ωπ 0 ? + ? ?.  相似文献

The final state interactions in K ± → π±π0π0 decays are considered using the methods of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics. It is shown how to take into account the largest electromagnetic effect in the analysis of experimental data using the amplitudes calculated earlier. The relevant expressions for amplitude corrections valid both above and below the two charged pions production threshold , including the average effect for the threshold bin, are proposed. These formulae can be used in the procedure of pion scattering lengths measurement from spectrum. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The ? → π+π?γγ and ? → π+π?η decays are sought in the experimental data obtained with the CMD-2 detector in the region of the ?-meson resonance. Upper limits ?(? → ππγγ)< 1.2 × 10?4 and ?(? → ππη) < 6.1 × 10?5 (both at a C.L. of 90%) are determined for the branching ratios of these decays.  相似文献

We correct the perturbative calculation of the electron screening corrections to 0+→0+ beta decays given by Drukarev and Strikman. The corrected calculation agrees with the standard Rose treatment of the screening corrections and eliminates the Z-dependent discrepancies in the corrected ft values for the superallowed Fermi transitions claimed by those authors.  相似文献

The process e + e ? → η′γ, η′ → η π0π0, η → γγ is investigated by an SND detector in experiment on a VEPP-2M equipment with colliding electron-positron beams. The analysis of experimental data yields a value of B(? → η′γ)=(6.7 ?4.2 +5.0 ±1.5)×10?5 for the decay probability. Taking into account a previous measurement of this quantity by an SND detector in the decay channel η′ → π+π?η, one finally obtains B(?→η ′γ)=(6.7 ?2.4 +2.8 ±0.8)×10?5.  相似文献

The search for CP-violating KS→3π0 decay was performed with SND detector at VEPP-2M e+e collider. The total amount of data corresponding to 7 million produced KS mesons was analyzed. No candidate events were found, giving an upper limit of the decay branching ratio: Br(KS→3π0)<1.4·10−5 at 90% confidence level.  相似文献

The short distance QCD corrections to bsγγ are calculated in the leading logarithmic approximation. The equivalence of operator basis reduction for S-matrix elements by using the equations of motion or by proving a low energy theorem is discussed. We apply the above results to the exclusive Bsγγ decay. The branching ratio of this decay is found to be 5×10−7 in the Standard Model. We also found that QCD corrections modify considerably the ratio between CP-even and CP-odd two-photon amplitudes.  相似文献

Within the Extended Nambu Jona-Lasinio model, we calculate the O(π6) counterterms entering the low-energy expansion of the ψψπ0π0 and the ηπ0ψψ amplitudes in Chiral Perturbation Theory. For ψψπ0π0 our results are compatible with both the experimental data and the two-loop calculation using meson resonance saturation. For the η decay we find Φ(ηπ0ψψ) = 0.58 ± 0.3 eV which is in agreement with experiment within one standard deviation. We also give predictions for the neutral pion polarizabilities and compare them with the results obtained from resonance saturation.  相似文献

Recently, we have seen interesting progress in the exploration of CP violation in B0 d→π+π-: the measurements of mixing-induced CP violation by the BaBar and Belle collaborations are now in good agreement with each other, whereas the picture of direct CP violation is still unclear. Using the branching ratio and direct CP asymmetry of B0 d→π-K+, this situation can be clarified. We predict , which favours the BaBar result, and we extract γ=(70.0+3.8 -4.3)°, which agrees with the unitarity triangle fits. Extending our analysis to other B→πK modes and B0 s→K+K- with the help of the SU(3) flavour symmetry and plausible dynamical assumptions, we find that all observables with colour-suppressed electroweak penguin contributions are measured to be in excellent agreement with the standard model. As far as the ratios Rc,n of the charged and neutral B→πK branching ratios are concerned, which are sizeably affected by electroweak penguin contributions, our standard-model predictions have almost unchanged central values but significantly reduced errors. Since the new data have moved quite a bit towards these results, the “B→πK puzzle” for the CP conserving quantities has been significantly reduced. However, the mixing-induced CP violation of B0 d→π0KS does look puzzling; if confirmed by future measurements, this effect could be accommodated through a modified electroweak penguin sector with a large CP violating new-physics phase. Finally, we point out that the established difference between the direct CP asymmetries of B±→π0K± and Bd→πK± appears to be generated by hadronic and not by new physics.  相似文献

Based on the assumption of a two-quark structure of the scalar meson f0(980), we calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for the four B→f0(980)π and B→f0(980)η(') decays by employing the perturbative QCD (Pqcd) factorization approach. The leading order Pqcd predictions for branching ratios are, Br(B-→f0(980)π-)~2.5×10-6, Br(B0→f0(980)πo)~2.6×10-7, Br(B0→f0(980)η)~ 2.5×10-7 and Br(B0→f0(980)η')~6.7×10-7, which are consistent with both the QCD factorization predictions and the experimental upper limits.  相似文献

TheK S 0 0 l + l andK L 0 0 l + l decays are considered within the framework of the Standard model in the one-photon exchange approximation, i.e.K S,L 0 0+ *0 +l + l . To evaluate the low-energy matrix elements of theK 0(¯K 0)0+ * transitions, the constituentquark-loop approximation, based on the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasino (NJL) model, is used. The obtained results are compared with other theoretical estimates and the experimental bounds.  相似文献

We analyze the and B–,0f0K–,0 decays and show that a consistent phenomenological picture can be obtained within the factorization approximation. In this approach the O6 operator provides the dominant contributions to the suppressed channel . An estimate of the annihilation form factor using perturbative QCD indicates that this contribution is not negligible, moreover interference with other penguin contributions includes a free parameter since the phase of the annihilation amplitude is not determined. Assumptions based on SU(2) isospin symmetry provide relations between different B decays involving one scalar and one pseudoscalar meson.  相似文献
