We show some new uniqueness results for compressible flows with data having critical regularity. In the barotropic case, uniqueness is stated whenever the space dimension N satisfies N ≥ 2, and in the polytropic case, whenever N ≥ 3. The endpoints N = 2 in the barotropic case and N = 3 in the polytropic case were left open in [4], [5] and [6].  相似文献

In this paper, we will investigate the global existence of solutions for the one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations when the density is in contact with vacuum continuously. More precisely, the viscosity coefficient is assumed to be a power function of density, i.e., μ(ρ)=Aρθ, where A and θ are positive constants. New global existence result is established for 0<θ<1 when the initial density appears vacuum in the interior of the gas, which is the novelty of the presentation.  相似文献

We are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of local or global solutions for slightly compressible viscous fluids in the whole space. In [6] and [7], we proved local and global well-posedness results for initial data in critical spaces very close to the one used by H. Fujita and T. Kato for incompressible flows (see [14]). In the present paper, we address the question of convergence to the incompressible model (for ill-prepared initial data) when the Mach number goes to zero. When the initial data are small in a critical space, we get global existence and convergence. For large initial data and a bit of additional regularity, the slightly compressible solution is shown to exist as long as the corresponding incompressible solution does. As a corollary, we get global existence (and uniqueness) for slightly compressible two-dimensional fluids.  相似文献

This paper is dedicated to the study of viscous compressible barotropic fluids in dimension N?2. We address the question of well-posedness for large data having critical Besov regularity. Our result improves the analysis of R. Danchin (2007) in [13], of Q. Chen et al. (2010) in [8] and of B. Haspot (2009, 2010) in [15] and [16] inasmuch as we may take initial density in with 1?p<+∞. Our result relies on a new a priori estimate for the velocity, where we introduce a new unknown called effective velocity to weaken one the coupling between the density and the velocity. In particular for the first time we obtain uniqueness without imposing hypothesis on the gradient of the density.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with global strong solutions of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity coefficient in one-dimensional bounded intervals. Precisely, the viscosity coefficient μ=μ(ρ) and the pressure P is proportional to ργ with γ>1. The important point in this paper is that the initial density may vanish in an open subset. We also show that the strong solution obtained above is unique provided that the initial data satisfies additional regularity and a compatible condition. Compared with former results obtained by Hyunseok Kim in [H. Kim, Global existence of strong solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations for one-dimensional isentropic compressible fluids, available at: http://com2mac.postech.ac.kr/papers/2001/01-38.pdf], we deal with density-dependent viscosity coefficient.  相似文献

The aims of this paper are to discuss global existence and uniqueness of strong solution for a class of isentropic compressible navier-Stokes equations with non-Newtonian in one-dimensional bounded intervals. We prove two global existence results on strong solutions of isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The first result shows only the existence. And the second one shows the existence and uniqueness result based on the first result, but the uniqueness requires some compatibility condition.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the free boundary value problem for multi-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity where the flow density vanishes continuously across the free boundary. Local (in time) existence of a weak solution is established; in particular, the density is positive and the solution is regular away from the free boundary.  相似文献

The initial boundary value problem for the compressible Navier-Stokes equation is considered in an infinite layer of Rn. It is proved that if n?3, then strong solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equation around parallel flows exist globally in time for sufficiently small initial perturbations, provided that the Reynolds and Mach numbers are sufficiently small. The proof is given by a variant of the Matsumura-Nishida energy method based on a decomposition of solutions associated with a spectral property of the linearized operator.  相似文献

In this paper we study a free boundary problem for the viscous, compressible, heat conducting, one-dimensional real fluids. More precisely, the viscosity is assumed to be a power function of density, i.e., μ(ρ)=ρα, where ρ denotes the density of fluids and α is a positive constant. In addition, the equations of state include and are more general than perfect flows which only depend linearly on temperature. The global existence (uniqueness) of smooth solutions is established with for general, large initial data, which improves the previous results. Moreover, it is also shown that the solutions will not develop vacuum, mass concentration or heat concentration in a finite time provided the initial data are bounded and smooth, and do not contain vacuum.  相似文献

We prove the existence of global solutions to the initial-boundary-value problem on the half space R+ for a one-dimensional viscous ideal polytropic gas. Some suitable assumptions are made to guarantee the existence of smooth solutions. Employing the L2- energy estimate, we prove that the impermeable problem has a unique global solutionis.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the global existence and convergence rates of the smooth solutions for the compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in R3. We prove the global existence of the smooth solutions by the standard energy method under the condition that the initial data are close to the constant equilibrium state in H3-framework. Moreover, if additionally the initial data belong to Lp with , the optimal convergence rates of the solutions in Lq-norm with 2≤q≤6 and its spatial derivatives in L2-norm are obtained.  相似文献
