By using negativity as entanglement measure, we have investigated the effect of local decoherence from a non-Markovian environment on the time evolution of entanglement of three-qubit states including the GHZ state, the W state, and the Werner state. From the results, we find that the entanglement dynamics depends not only on the coupling strengths but also on the specific states of concern. Specifically, the entanglement takes different behaviors under weak or strong coupling and it varies with the quantum states under study. The entanglement of the GHZ state and the Werner state can be destroyed completely by the local decoherence, while the entanglement of the W state can survive through the local decoherence partially.  相似文献

We compare theoretically the effects of channel decoherence on entangled coherent states (ECSs) and entangled squeezed states (ESSs) as non-orthogonal states. The comparison is achieved in the case when the interaction with the noisy environment is symmetric and when it is asymmetric. In the first case, we notice a robustness of ECSs compared with ESSs against the photons losses. This robustness increases with a good way after using a higher amplitudes. However, in the asymmetric decoherence case, the ESSs resist more the photon losses compared with the ECSs.  相似文献

We re-examine the question of the entropy stored in the distribution of primordial density fluctuations. To this end we make use of two-mode coherent states. These states incorporate the isotropy of the distribution as well as the temporal coherence and the semi-classical character of highly amplified modes. They also provide a lower bound for the entropy if, as one expects, decoherence processes erase the quantum squeezing which originally characterized the distribution in inflationary models. This lower bound is one half the maximal (thermal) value. By considering backreaction effects, we also provide an upper bound for this entropy at the onset of the adiabatic era.  相似文献

Taming decoherence is a critical issue in quantum information science. We here investigate amplitude-damping decoherence suppression of two-qubit entangled states by weak quantum measurements. It is shown that the weak measurements can effectively suppress the decoherence for different initial entangled states. More interestingly, we show that the weak measurements have different effects on the entanglement protection for two entangled states which are equivalent under a local unitary operation. This result implies that the entanglement protection effect could be modulated according to different demands.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of a system coupled to an environment byaveraged semiquantum method. The theory origins from the time-dependentvariational principle (TDVP) formulation and contains nondiagonal matrixelements. So it can be applied to study dissipation, measurement, anddecoherence problems in the model (H = hS + hE + hI). We have performed averaged semiquantum method for a spin-boson model, which reproduce theresults from stochastic Schrodinger equation method and Hierarchicalapproach quite accurately. We present a scheme for generating four pairs of two-atom Einstein Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) states using the simultaneous interaction of the two atoms with a single-mode cavity field under a large detuning condition. The influence of cavity dissipation on the prepared EPR states is investigated by means of the superoperator method and the state fidelity. It is shown that some kinds of the prepared EPR states are robust against cavity dissipation and the intensity of the field, and maintain their entanglement invariance, and the others are fragile and completely destroyed by the action of cavity dissipation and the intensity of the field in the long-time limit. Decoherence time of the fragile entangled states is extremely small for a typical cavity-QED experimental data.  相似文献

By using the Born Markovian master equation, we study the relationship among the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) steering, Bell nonlocality, and quantum entanglement of entangled coherent states (ECSs) under decoherence. We illustrate the dynamical behavior of the three types of correlations for various optical field strength regimes. In general, we find that correlation measurements begin at their maximum and decline over time. We find that quantum steering and nonlocality behave similarly in terms of photon number during dynamics. Furthermore, we discover that ECSs with steerability can violate the Bell inequality, and that not every ECS with Bell nonlocality is steerable. In the current work, without the memory stored in the environment, some of the initial states with maximal values of quantum steering, Bell nonlocality, and entanglement can provide a delayed loss of that value during temporal evolution, which is of interest to the current study.  相似文献

The entanglement evolution relies not only on the parameters of system, but also on the concrete states either pure or mixed. We let a set of beam splitters of vacuum mode with a chosen transmittance parameter η in interaction with a separable coherent states.This model induces the production of an attenuated quantum channels based on entangled optical states.Indeed,the decoherence effect is exploited positively here to generate such kind of quantum channels.Next,the amplitude damping and the entanglement amount of these produced channels are enhanced thereafter by a probabilistic quasi amplification process using again a 50 : 50 beam splitter.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of quantum discord and entanglement for two spin qubits coupled to a spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.In the case of a two-qubit with an initial pure state,quantum correlations decay to zero at the critical point of the environment in a very short time.In the case of a two-qubit with initial mixed state,it is found that quantum discord may get maximized due to the quantum critical behavior of the environment,while entanglement vanishes under the same condition.Besides,we observed a sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence when only a single qubit interacts with the environment.The effects of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction on quantum correlations are considered in the two cases.The decay of quantum correlations is always strengthened by Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.  相似文献

The decoherence of two initially entangled qubits coupled with a squeezed vacuum cavity separately is investigated exactly. The results show that, first, in principle, the disentanglement time decreases with the increase of squeeze parameter r, due to the augmenting of average photon number of every mode in the squeezed vacuum cavity. Second, there appear entanglement revivals after the complete disentanglement for the case of even parity initial Bell state, while there occur the entanglement decrease and the entanglement revival before the complete disentanglement for the case of odd parity initial Bell state. The results are quite different from those for the case of qubits in a vacuum cavity.  相似文献

We investigate the effect of decoherence from a spin environment on the quantum channel capacity.Our results imply that the time evolution of the quantum channel capacity depends on the number of freedom degrees of the environment,the tunneling element,the initial state of the environment,and the system-environment coupling strength.From the analysis,we find that the strong tunneling elements and the weak coupling strength can enhance the quantum channel capacity while the environment with a large number of freedom degrees and the strong coupling strength will shrink it.  相似文献

By using the normal ordering method, we study the state evolution of an optically driven excitons in aquantum well immersed in a leaky cavity, which was introduced by Yu-Xi Liu et al. [Phys. Rev. A63 (2001) 033816]. Theinfluence of the externallaser field on the quantum decoherence of a mesoscopically superposed state of the excitons isinvestigated. Our result shows that, the classical field can compensate the energy dissipation of the excitons. Althoughthe decoherence rate of the excitonic Schrodinger cat state does not depend on the external field, the phase of thedecoherence factor can be well controlled by adjusting the amplitude of the external field as well as the detuning betweenthe field and the transition frequency of the atom.  相似文献

Finding the most robust entangled states during the whole process of decoherence is a particularly fundamental problem for quantum physics and quantum information processing. In this paper, the decoherence process of two-qubit system under two individual identical decoherence channels is investigated systematically. We find that although the robustness of two-qubit states with same initial entanglement is usually different, the Bell-like states are always the most robust entangled states during decoherence. That is to say, affected by the same amount of noise, the remain entanglement of an arbitrary two-qubit state is not more than that of a Bell-like state with the same initial entanglement.  相似文献
