The aim of this article is to study potential games which are a special class of games, in fact their properties are dictated by a single function called the potential function. We consider Tikhonov well-posedness and other well-posedness properties introduced by the authors in Margiocco et al. (Margiocco, M., Patrone, F. and Pusillo Chicco, L., 1997, A new approach to Tikhonov well–posedness for Nash equilibria. Optimization, 40, 385–400) Margiocco and Pusillo (Margiocco, M. and Pusillo, L., Value bounded approximations for Nash equilibria, Preprint, Submitted). In this note we prove the existence of minmax points for strategic form games where the sets of strategies are topological spaces and the payoff functions satisfy conditions weaker than continuity. The employed tools are the class of transfer weakly upper continuous functions and the class of weakly lower pseudocontinuous functions. An example shows that our result is of minimal character. 相似文献

In this paper, we study the generalized Hadamard well-posedness of infinite vector optimization problems (IVOP). Without the assumption of continuity with respect to the first variable, the upper semicontinuity and closedness of constraint set mappings are established. Under weaker assumptions, sufficient conditions of generalized Hadamard well-posedness for IVOP are obtained under perturbations of both the objective function and the constraint set. We apply our results to the semi-infinite vector optimization problem and the semi-infinite multi-objective optimization problem. 相似文献

The aim of this article is to give, for Nash equilibria, a well-posedness criterion in the form of an ordinal property. This property is important for games because it captures the case when players' decisions depend on preferences and not on a special choice of a utility function. In this article we study a Hadamard type inequality for nonnegative evenly quasiconvex functions. The approach of our study is based on the notion of abstract convexity.
