A new dichloroplatinum(II) complex with 5-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline (1) has been obtained and characterized by X-ray diffraction. MTT assay was used for in vitro cytotoxicity evaluation of this complex, along with a similar complex with 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (2) against normal and cancerous cell lines. Interestingly, the IC50 values of the new complexes were higher for normal cells and in the case of complex 2, lower against all studied human cancer cells, in comparison with cisplatin. 相似文献

The interaction of the complexes [Pd(dien)(1-MeCyt)]2+ (2) and [Pd(dien)(9-EtGH)]2+ (3) with the amino acids L-tryptophan (Trp) and N-acetyltryptophan (N-AcTrp) was studied and compared with the previously studied platinum analogues [Pt(dien)(1-MeCyt)]2+ (4) and [Pt(dien)(9-EtGH)]2+ (5). Solid-state structures for 2 and 4 are reported. For the palladium complexes, the interaction is pH sensitive. Below pH 5, the noncovalent interaction with stacking between the aromatic amino acid residue and the metalated nucleobase was observed. Fluorescence quenching experiments indicated similar association constants for platinum and palladium derivatives 2-5. Unusual substitution of the model nucleobases 1-methylcytosine (1-MeCyt) and 9-ethylguanine (9-EtGH) by tryptophan was observed in the range of pH 5-11. The resulting species [Pd(dien)(Trp)]+ (6) and [Pd(dien)(N-AcTrp)]+ (7) were characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and ESI-MS spectroscopy with coordination indicated through the amino and deprotonated amido nitrogens, respectively. Complexes 6 and 7 were also obtained from a solution of [Pd(dien)Cl]+ (1) incubated with either Trp or N-AcTrp, respectively. 相似文献

Methods of synthesis of iron(II) complexes containing cluster closo-borate anions—[Fe(Htrz)3]B10Cl10 (I) (HTrz is 1,2,4-triazole), [Fe(NH2Trz)3]B10Cl10 · 2H2O (II) (NH2Trz is 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole), [Fe{HC(pz)3}2]B10Cl10 (III), [Fe{HC(pz)3}2]B10H10 (IV), and [Fe{HC(pz)3}2]B12H12 · 2H2O (V) (HC(pz)3 is tris(pyrazol-1-yl)methane)—have been developed. The compounds have been studied by the static magnetic susceptibility method (78–500 K) and electronic, IR, and EXAFS spectroscopy. Complexes I and II in the temperature range under consideration remain in the high-spin state. Low-spin complex III shows incomplete spin crossover and decomposes on heating above 440 K. Complexes IV and V are characterized by reversible spin crossover 1 A 1 ? 5 T 2 accompanied by thermochromism (the pink ? white color change). The crossover temperature (T c) for IV and V is 375 and 405 K, respectively. 相似文献

The studies concerning coordination compounds of various salts of iron(II) with tris(pyrazol-1-yl)methane derivatives (HC(pz)3) are discussed. The results of a number of studies on the synthesis and investigation of the homo- and heteroligand iron(II) complexes with tris(3,5- dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane (HC(3,5-Me2pz)3) are considered. The study of the temperature dependence μeff (T) showed that the spin crossover (SCO) 1A1?5T2 observed in a series of the compounds discussed is accompanied by thermochromism (color change pink (purple) ? colorless). Specific features of the SCO and their dependence on the outer-sphere anion in the iron(II) complexes are discussed. The data of the recently published work devoted to the synthesis of the iron(II) complexes with three N-substituted HC(pz)3 derivatives (general formula xL, where x = H, CH2C6H5 (Bn) and p-SO3C6H4CH3 (Ts)) are considered. 相似文献

Density functional calculations show that aquation of [Os(eta6-arene)(XY)Cl]n+ complexes is more facile for complexes in which XY=an anionic O,O-chelated ligand compared to a neutral N,N-chelated ligand, and the mechanism more dissociative in character. The O,O-chelated XY=maltolato (mal) [M(eta6-p-cym)(mal)Cl] complexes, in which p-cym=p-cymene, M=OsII (1) and RuII (2), were synthesised and the X-ray crystal structures of 1 and 22 H2O determined. Their hydrolysis rates were rapid (too fast to follow by NMR spectroscopy). The aqua adduct of the OsII complex 1 was 1.6 pKa units more acidic than that of the RuII complex 2. Dynamic NMR studies suggested that O,O-chelate ring opening occurs on a millisecond timescale in coordinating proton-donor solvents, and loss of chelated mal in aqueous solution led to the formation of the hydroxo-bridged dimers [(eta6-p-cym)M(mu-OH)3M(eta6-p-cym)]+. The proportion of this dimer in solutions of the OsII complex 1 increased with dilution and it predominated at micromolar concentrations, even in the presence of 0.1 M NaCl (conditions close to those used for cytotoxicity testing). Although 9-ethylguanine (9-EtG) binds rapidly to Os(II) in 1 and more strongly (log K=4.4) than to RuII in 2 (log K=3.9), the OsII adduct [Os(eta6-p-cym)(mal)(9EtG)]+ was unstable with respect to formation of the hydroxo-bridged dimer at micromolar concentrations. Such insights into the aqueous solution chemistry of metal-arene complexes under biologically relevant conditions will aid the rational design of organometallic anticancer agents. 相似文献

Several palladacycle and platinacycle complexes have been prepared from easily available or naturally occurring indole derivatives, such as gramine and related compounds. Dimeric complexes were obtained with Pd(OAc)2, while Pt(DMSO)2Cl2 mainly afforded monomeric structures. A notable feature of these reactions was the formation of new M-C bonds between Pd or Pt and C-2 and C-3 of the indole ring. With ligands like 2-(2′-pyridyl)-1H-indoles, N-N metallacycles were generated instead: in fact new C-M bonds with the C-3 position could only form if N-substituted indoles were used. The reactivity of Pd dimeric complexes with PPh3, sym-collidine and DMAP was explored to obtain monomeric complexes. Three such compounds were prepared, one of which was characterized by X-ray diffraction. Metathetical reactions were carried out to effect a ligand exchange replacing OAc with halide ions, with the aim to synthesize μ-Cl and μ-Br bridged structures. Turning to the synthesis of hetaryl complexes, functionalization of the C-2 position on the indole ring was achieved. A new molecular dyad, comprised of a zinc-porphyrin and a ruthenium(II) tris(bipyridine) complex linked through an amide bond has been synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, UV-vis, mass-spectrometry and elemental analysis. The electrochemistry as well as the steady-state emission properties were investigated. The redox behavior of the dyad exhibits a favorable reversible characteristic. Substantial quenching of porphyrin emission was found when the Q band of 5 and 5-Zn was selectively photoexcited. This observation suggests a quenching mechanism with possible intramolecular electron transfer or energy transfer between the Ru(bpy)3 moiety and the porphyrin free-base or Zn porphyrin moieties. 相似文献

Platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes of the trithiacrown [9]aneS(3) containing a range of Group 15 donors are reviewed. These complexes have the general formula [M([9]aneS(3))(L(2))](n+) where L represents at least one Group 15 donor. Complexes involving pnictogens, with the exception of bismuth, are observed. The complexes generally have an elongated square pyramidal geometry with a long distance interaction to the third sulphur of the [9]aneS(3) which forms the apex of the square pyramid. This axial metal-sulphur distance is quite sensitive to the donor properties of L. Poorer donors such as Sb and As ligands show short axial distances whereas the better N donor ligands show longer distances. Pt(II) complexes of the formula [Pt([9]aneS(3))(EPh(3))(2)](2+) (E = P, As, Sb) show a considerable distortion towards a trigonal bipyramidal geometry due to intramolecular π-π interactions. Over seventy of these types of complexes have been crystallographically characterized and are discussed in this article. A series of dichlorodiimine complexes [M(N N)Cl2]z of Au(III) and Pt(II) with 1,4-derivatives of o-phenanthroline [(N N) = o-phenanthroline (phen), dipyrido[f,h]quinoxaline (dpq), dipyrido[a,c]phenazine (dppz), 6,7-dicyanodipyrido[f,h]quinoxaline (dicnq)] were prepared and characterized by 1H NMR, electronic absorption, and emission spectroscopy and by cyclic voltammetry. In all the complexes, the 3(π-π*)-type transition is the spin-forbidden transition of the lowest energy, responsible for the luminescence. The longest wave bands in the absorption spectra of the Au(III) and Pd(II) complexes were assigned in accordance with the results of the electrochemical studies to the 1(d*)-and 1(d*)-type transitions, respectively. 相似文献

We report the synthesis and full characterization for a series of cyclometallated complexes of Pt(II) and Pd(II) incorporating the fluxional trithiacrown ligand 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane ([9]aneS3). Reaction of [M(C insertion mark N)(micro-Cl)]2 (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); C insertion mark N = 2-phenylpyridinate (ppy) or 7,8-benzoquinolinate (bzq)) with [9]aneS3 followed by metathesis with NH4PF6 yields [M(C insertion mark N)([9]aneS3)](PF6). The complexes [M(C insertion mark P)([9]aneS3)](PF6) (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); Cinsertion markP = [CH2C6H4P(o-tolyl)2-C,P]-) were synthesized from their respective [Pt(C insertion mark P)(micro-Cl)]2 or [Pd(C insertion mark P)(micro-O2CCH3)]2 (C insertion mark P) starting materials. All five new complexes have been fully characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopies in addition to elemental analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal structural determinations. As expected, the coordinated [9]aneS3 ligand shows fluxional behavior in its NMR spectra, resulting in a single 13C NMR resonance despite the asymmetric coordination environment of the cyclometallating ligand. Electrochemical studies reveal irreversible one-electron metal-centered oxidations for all Pt(II) complexes, but unusual two-electron reversible oxidations for the Pd(II) complexes of ppy and bzq. The X-ray crystal structures of each complex indicate an axial M-S interaction formed by the endodentate conformation of the [9]aneS3 ligand. The structure of [Pd(bzq)([9]aneS3)](PF6) exhibits disorder in the [9]aneS3 conformation indicating a rare exodentate conformation as the major contributor in the solid-state structure. DFT calculations on [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) and [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) indicate the HOMO for both complexes is primarily dz2 in character with a significant contribution from the phenyl ring of the ppy ligand and p orbital of the axial sulfur donor. In contrast, the calculated LUMO is primarily ppy pi* in character for [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6), but dx2-y2 in character for [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6). 相似文献

The complexes K[PtCl3(Meug)] (1; Meug = methyleugenol), K[PtCl3(Meteug)] (2; Meteug = methyl eugenoxyacetate), and K[PtCl3(Eteug)] (3; Eteug = ethyl eugenoxyacetate) reacted with AgNO3, SnCl2, KOH, or ethanol–water solutions to lose one aryl proton and form dinuclear metallacyclic complexes Pt2Cl2(Meug-1H)2 (4), Pt2Cl2(Meteug-1H)2 (5), and Pt2Cl2(Eteug-1H)2 (6), respectively. Complexes 4–6 reacted with aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic amines to give various mononuclear metallacyclic platinum complexes 7–15. 1H NMR spectra showed that in 4–15 Meug, Meteug, and Eteug are bound with Pt(II) both at the benzene carbon and at the ethylenic double bond of the side chain. NOESY spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction indicated that in 7–15 the amines are in cis-position with respect to the ethylenic double bond. 相似文献

Palladium and platinum complexes with the model nucleobase 1-methylcytosine (1-Mecyt) of the types [Pd(N-N)(C6F5)(1-Mecyt)]ClO4 [N-N = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane (bpzm), bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane (bpzm), N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda), or 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy)] and [M(dmba)(L')(1-Mecyt)]ClO4 [dmba = N,C-chelating 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl; L' = PPh(3) (M = Pd or Pt), DMSO (M = Pt)] have been obtained. Palladium and platinum complexes of the types cis-[M(C6F5)2(1-Mecyt)2] (M = Pd or Pt) and cis-[Pd(L')(C6F5)(1-Mecyt)2]ClO4 (L' = PPh(3) or t-BuNC) have also been prepared. The crystal structures of [Pd(bpzm)(C6F5)(1-Mecyt)]ClO4, [Pt(dmba)(DMSO)(1-Mecyt)]ClO4, cis-[Pd(C6F5)2(1-Mecyt)2], and cis-[Pd(t-BuNC)(C6F5)(1-Mecyt)2]ClO4 have been established by X-ray diffraction. There is extensive hydrogen bonding (N-H...O, C-H...F or C-H...O) in all the compounds. There are also intermolecular pi-pi interactions between pyrimidine rings of adjacent chains in [Pd(C6F5)2(1-Mecyt)2]. DNA adduct formation of the new complexes synthesized was followed by circular dichroism and electrophoretic mobility. Atomic force microscopy images of the modifications caused by the complexes on plasmid DNA pBR322 were also obtained. Values of IC(50) were also calculated for the new complexes against the tumor cell line HL-60. At a short incubation time (24 h) almost all new complexes were more active than cisplatin. 相似文献

A small series of ruthenium(II) tris(2,2'-bipyridine) complexes has been synthesized in which ethynylated thiophene residues are attached to one of the 2,2'-bipyridine ligands. The photophysical properties depend on the conjugation length of the thiophene-based ligand, and in each case, dual emission is observed. The two emitting states reside in thermal equilibrium at ambient temperature and can be resolved by emission spectral curve-fitting routines. This allows the properties of the two states to be evaluated in both fluid butyronitrile solution and a transparent KBr disk. It is concluded that both emitting states are of metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) character, and despite the presence of conjugated thiophene residues, there is no indication for a low-lying pi,pi*-triplet state that promotes nonradiative decay of the excited-state manifold. A key feature of these systems is that the conjugation length imposed by the thiophene-based ligand helps to control the rate constants for both radiative and nonradiative decay from the two MLCT triplet states. 相似文献

The reactions of PhSe−, PhS− and Se2− with N-{2-(chloroethyl)}pyrrolidine result in N-{2-(phenylseleno)ethyl}pyrrolidine (L1), N-{2-(phenylthio)ethyl}pyrrolidine (L2), and bis{2-pyrrolidene-N-yl)ethyl selenide (L3), respectively, which have been explored as ligands. The complexes [PdCl2(L1/L2)] (1/7), [PtCl2(L1/L2)] (2/8), [RuCl(η6-C6H6)(L1/L2)][PF6] (3/9), [RuCl(η6-p-cymene)(L1/L2)][PF6] (4/10), [RuCl(η6-p-cymene)(NH3)2][PF6] (5) and [Ru(η6-p-cymene)(L1)(CH3CN)][PF6]2·CH3CN (6) have been synthesized. The L1-L3 and complexes were found to give characteristic NMR (Proton, Carbon-13 and Se-77). The crystal structures of complexes 1, 3-6, 9 and 10 have been solved. The Pd-Se and Ru-Se bond lengths have been found to be 2.353(2) and 2.480(11)/2.4918(9)/2.4770(5) Å, respectively. The complexes 1 and 7 have been explored for catalytic Heck and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions. The value of TON has been found up to 85 000 with the advantage of catalyst’s stability under ambient conditions. The efficiency of 1 is marginally better than 7. The Ru-complexes 3 and 9 are good for catalytic oxidation of primary and secondary alcohols in CH2Cl2 in the presence of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMO). The TON value varies between 8.0 × 104 and 9.7 × 104 for this oxidation. The 3 is somewhat more efficient catalyst than 9. 相似文献

A unique trinuclear cluster containing two short Pt-->Ag dative bonds was prepared and characterized crystallographically. Two monocationic orthometalated Pt(II) complexes containing 2-phenylpyridine and the tridentate ligand 9S3 (1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) exhibit axial sulfur interactions with Pt as well as short dative bonds. The Pt-->Ag dative bonding results in a dramatic shortening of the axial Pt-S distance in each Pt complex cation, relative to the mononuclear Pt complex. Evidence for Pt-Ag interactions in solution is also presented. 相似文献
