In this paper we give a complete classification of simply connected homogeneous almost α-Kenmotsu three-manifolds M whose Ricci operator is invariant along the Reeb flow. We get this classification by using the Gaussian and the extrinsic curvature associated with the canonical foliation of M.  相似文献

Assigning multiple service facilities to demand points is important when demand points are required to withstand service facility failures. Such failures may result from a multitude of causes, ranging from technical difficulties to natural disasters. The α-neighbor p-center problem deals with locating p service facilities. Each demand point is assigned to its nearest α service facilities, thus it is able to withstand up to α − 1 service facility failures. The objective is to minimize the maximum distance between a demand point and its αth nearest service facility. We present two optimal algorithms for both the continuous and discrete α-neighbor p-center problem. We present experimental results comparing the performance of the two optimal algorithms for α = 2. We also present experimental results showing the performance of the relaxation algorithm for α = 1, 2, 3.  相似文献

For N-body problems with homogeneous potentials we define a special class of central configurations related with the reduction of homotheties in the study of homogeneous weak KAM solutions. For potentials in 1/r α with α ∈ (0, 2) we prove the existence of homogeneous weak KAM solutions. We show that such solutions are related to viscosity solutions of another Hamilton-Jacobi equation in the sphere of normal configurations. As an application we prove for the Newtonian three-body problem that there are no smooth homogeneous solutions to the critical Hamilton-Jacobi equation.  相似文献

We consider the so-called delayed loss of stability phenomenon for singularly perturbed systems of differential equations in case that the associated autonomous system with a scalar parameter undergoes the Hopf bifurcation at the zero equilibrium point. It is assumed that the linearization of the associated system is independent of the parameter and the next terms in the expansion of the right-hand parts at zero are positive homogeneous of order α>1. Simple formulas are presented to estimate the asymptotic delay for the delayed loss of stability phenomenon. More precisely, we suggest sufficient conditions which ensure that zeros of a simple function ψ defined by the positive homogeneous nonlinear terms are the Hopf bifurcation points of the associated system, the sign of ψ at other points determines stability of the zero equilibrium, and the asymptotic delay equals the distance between the bifurcation point and a zero of some primitive of ψ.  相似文献

In this paper we show the equivalence between Goldman-Rota q-binomial identity and its inverse. We may specialize the value of the parameters in the generating functions of Rogers-Szegö polynomials to obtain some classical results such as Euler identities and the relation between classical and homogeneous Rogers-Szegö polynomials. We give a new formula for the homogeneous Rogers-Szegö polynomials hn(x,y|q). We introduce a q-difference operator θxy on functions in two variables which turn out to be suitable for dealing with the homogeneous form of the q-binomial identity. By using this operator, we got the identity obtained by Chen et al. [W.Y.C. Chen, A.M. Fu, B. Zhang, The homogeneous q-difference operator, Advances in Applied Mathematics 31 (2003) 659-668, Eq. (2.10)] which they used it to derive many important identities. We also obtain the q-Leibniz formula for this operator. Finally, we introduce a new polynomials sn(x,y;b|q) and derive their generating function by using the new homogeneous q-shift operator L(bθxy).  相似文献

We study distributions on a Euclidean Jordan algebra V with values in a finite dimensional representation space for the identity component G of the structure group of V and homogeneous equivariance condition. We show that such distributions exist if and only if the representation is spherical, and that then the dimension of the space of these distributions is r+1 (where r is the rank of V). We give also construction of these distributions and of those that are invariant under the semi-simple part of G.  相似文献

On h-convexity     
We introduce a class of h-convex functions which generalize convex, s-convex, Godunova-Levin functions and P-functions. Namely, the h-convex function is defined as a non-negative function which satisfies f(αx+(1−α)y)?h(α)f(x)+h(1−α)f(y), where h is a non-negative function, α∈(0,1) and x,yJ. In this paper, a new class of generalized convex function is introduced, which is called the strongly α-preinvex function. We study some properties of strongly α-preinvex function. In particular, we establish the equivalence among the strongly α-preinvex functions, strongly α-invex functions and strongly αη-monotonicity under some suitable conditions. A two-parameter family of invariant almost-complex structures J α,c is given on the homogeneous space M × M’ = U(n + 1)/U(n) × U(p + 1)/U(p); all these structures are integrable. We consider all invariant Riemannian metrics on the homogeneous space M × M’. They depend on five parameters and are Hermitian with respect to some complex structure J α,c . In this paper, we calculate the Ricci tensor, scalar curvature, and obtain estimates of the sectional curvature for any metric on M × M’. We consider the generalized shift operator, associated with the Laplace-Bessel differential operator . The maximal operator Mγ (B-maximal operator) and the Riesz potential (B-Riesz potential), associated with the generalized shift operator are investigated. At first, we prove that the B-maximal operator Mγ is bounded from the B-Morrey space Lp,λ,γ to Lp,λ,γ for all 1<p<∞ and 0?λ<n+|γ|. We prove that the B-Riesz potential , 0<α<n+|γ| is bounded from the B-Morrey space Lp,λ,γ to Lq,λ,γ if and only if α/(n+|γ|−λ)=1/p−1/q, 1<p<(n+|γ|−λ)/α. Also we prove that the B-Riesz potential is bounded from the B-Morrey space L1,λ,γ to the weak B-Morrey space WLq,λ,γ if and only if α/(n+|γ|−λ)=1−1/q.  相似文献

We consider α-times integrated C-regularized semigroups, which are a hybrid between semigroups regularized in space (C-semigroups) and integrated semigroups regularized in time. We study the basic properties of these objects, also in absence of exponential boundedness. We discuss their generators and establish an equivalence theorem between existence of integrated regularized semigroups and well-posedness of certain Cauchy problems. We investigate the effect of smoothing regularized semigroups by fractional integration.  相似文献

In this paper, several distributional properties and characterization theorems of the generalized multivariate Pareto distributions are studied. It is found that the multivariate Pareto distributions have many mixture properties. They are mixed either by geometric, Weibull, or exponential variables. The multivariate Pareto, MP(k)(I), MP(k)(II), and MP(k)(IV) families have closure property under finite sample minima. The MP(k)(III) family is closed under both geometric minima and geometric maxima. Through the geometric minima procedure, one characterization theorem for MP(k)(III) distribution is developed. Moreover, the MP(k)(III) distribution is proved as the limit multivariate distribution under repeated geometric minimization. Also, a characterization theorem for the homogeneous MP(k)(IV) distribution via the weighted minima among the ordered coordinates is developed. Finally, the MP(k)(II) family is shown to have the truncation invariant property.  相似文献

The α-modulation spaces , α∈[0,1], form a family of spaces that include the Besov and modulation spaces as special cases. This paper is concerned with construction of Banach frames for α-modulation spaces in the multivariate setting. The frames constructed are unions of independent Riesz sequences based on tensor products of univariate brushlet functions, which simplifies the analysis of the full frame. We show that the multivariate α-modulation spaces can be completely characterized by the Banach frames constructed.  相似文献
