Abstract This paper is concerned with the existence of periodic solutions for a nonlinear system of ordinary differential equations. We obtain a Nagumo-type a priori bound for the periodic solutions and then by using this a priori bound we prove the existence of at least one T-periodic solution under some general conditions Research supported by the NNSF of China and the RFDP of China.  相似文献

In this paper we survey recent results on the decay of periodic and almost periodic solutions of conservation laws. We also recall some recent results on the global existence of periodic solutions of conservation laws systems which lie inBV loc and are constructed through Glimm scheme. The latter motivates a discussion on a possible strategy for solving the open problem of the global existence of periodic solutions of the Euler equations for nonisentropic gas dynamics. We base our decay analysis on a general result about space-time functions which are almost periodic in the space variable, established here for the first time. This result is an abstract version of Theorem 2.1 in [31], which in turn is an extention of the combined result given by Theorems 3.1–3.2 in [9].  相似文献

In this paper, we study a new class of functions, which we call (ω,c)-asymptotically periodic functions. This collection includes asymptotically periodic, asymptotically antiperiodic, asymptotically Bloch-periodic, and unbounded functions. We prove that the set conformed by these functions is a Banach space with a suitable norm. Furthermore, we show several properties of this class of functions as the convolution invariance. We present some examples and a composition result. As an application, we prove the existence and uniqueness of (ω,c)-asymptotically periodic mild solutions to the first-order abstract Cauchy problem on the real line. Also, we establish some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive (ω,c)-asymptotically periodic solutions to the Lasota-Wazewska equation with unbounded oscillating production of red cells.  相似文献

Sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one periodic solution of two classes of nonlinear higher order periodic difference equations are established, respectively. The results show us that sufficient conditions for the existence of T ? periodic solutions of difference equation are different from those ones for the existence of T ? periodic solutions of differential equation. We use Brouwer degree to prove existence and multiplicity results for the periodic solutions of some nonlinear second order difference equations involving discrete -Laplacian. We obtain in particular upper and lower solutions theorems, Ambrosetti–Prodi type multiplicity results, sharp existence conditions for nonlinearities which are bounded from below or from above and necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions when the nonlinearity is singular at 0.  相似文献

Abstract This paper deals with the existence of weak periodic solutions for a parabolic-elliptic system proposed as a model for a time dependent thermistor with degenerate thermal conductivity. In this article, a new approach for pseudo almost periodic solution under the measure theory, under Acquistpace‐Terreni conditions. We make extensive use of interpolation spaces and exponential dichotomy techniques to obtain the existence of μ‐pseudo almost periodic solutions to some classes of nonautonomous partial evolution equations. In this paper, by means of ourZ p index theory developed recently we study the existence of multiple periodic solutions for asymptotically linear nonautonomous wave equations. All previous known results rely either on the oddness of nonlinear terms, or on autonomous systems, and the best result for the general case is the existence of two nontrivial periodic solutions (Amann, Zehnder, K. C. Chang, S. P. Wu, S. J. Li, Z. Q. Wang). In this paper, under the assumption that the nonlinear term isT/p periodic we discuss multiple periodic solutions of nonautonomous systems and generalize a series of previous results.This research was supported in part by the National Postdoctoral Science Fund.  相似文献

In this work, we consider a class of neutral shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with mixed delays. We study the existence, uniqueness, and the exponential stability of the measure pseudo almost periodic (or μ-pseudo almost periodic) solutions from some models for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with mixed delays. In this work, we study the existence of C n -almost periodic solutions and C n -almost automorphic solutions (n?≥?1), for partial neutral functional differential equations. We prove that the existence of a bounded integral solution on ?+ implies the existence of C n -almost periodic and C n -almost automorphic strict solutions. Using the critical point theory in combination with periodic approximations, we establish sufficient conditions on the existence of homoclinic solutions for higher-order periodic difference equations with p-Laplacian. Our results provide rather weaker conditions to guarantee the existence of homoclinic solutions and considerably improve some existing ones even for some special cases.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the existence and global attractivity of k-pseudo almost automorphic sequence solution of a model of bidirectional cellular neural networks. We consider the corresponding difference equation analogue of the model system using suitable discretization method and obtain certain conditions for the existence of solution. The k-pseudo almost automorphic sequence solutions generalize the results of pseudo almost periodic, almost periodic and almost automorphic sequences solutions. In this work, we study the existence of almost automorphic solutions for some partial functional differential equations. We prove that the existence of a bounded solution on R+ implies the existence of an almost automorphic solution. Our results extend the classical known theorem by Bohr and Neugebauer on the existence of almost periodic solutions for inhomegeneous linear almost periodic differential equations. We give some applications to hyperbolic equations and Lotka-Volterra type equations used to describe the evolution of a single diffusive animal species.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the existence of periodic solutions for nonlinear impulsive viable problems monitored by differential inclusions of the type x′(t)∈F(t,x(t))+G(t,x(t)).
