By properly designing a phase pupil mask to modulate or encode the optical images and then digitally restoring them, one can greatly extend the depth of field and improve image quality. The original works done by Dowski and Cathey introduce the use of a cubic phase pupil mask to extend the depth of field. The theoretical and experimental researches all verified its effectiveness. In this paper, we suggest the use of an exponential phase pupil mask to extend the depth of field. This phase mask has two variable parameters for designing to control the shape of the mask so as to modulate the wave-front more flexible. We employ an optimization procedure based on the Fisher information metric to obtain the optimum values of the parameters for the exponential and the cubic masks, respectively. A series of performance comparisons between these two optimized phase masks in extending the depth of field are then done. The results show that the exponential phase mask provide slight advantage to the cubic one in several aspects.  相似文献

We describe the design and implementation of a light efficient binary phase-only diffraction optical element which converts a laser beam into an annular ring with the loss of less than 25% of the overall power. The use of annular illumination permits us to obtain an increase in the axial extent of the point spread function of a microscope objective without compromising the lateral resolution. The light efficiency of the system permitted two photon fluorescence images with extended depth of field to be obtained. The combination of two such extended depth of field images obtained at different parallaxes allowed the generation of high resolution two photon stereo pairs.  相似文献

随着生命科学需求的日益迫切,显微镜的景深拓展成为显微领域的一个重要发展方向,为了更好地了解、研究显微景深问题,对景深拓展技术进行研究与总结。以显微景深的大幅提升为出发点,就光学切片扫描、空间光调制、波前编码及光场显微4个方面进行了全面的综合性论述。对这些技术的原理、方式及拓展水平进行了阐述,并就其技术缺陷、发展方向进行了归纳总结。随着技术水平的提高,显微景深较传统显微镜可提高1~2个数量级。  相似文献

设计了一款采用波前编码技术的虹膜采集光学系统,以实现大景深、自然非约束状态下的成像.以传统的光学系统评价指标斯特利尔比和能量集中度作为波前编码系统的成像特征,利用ZEMAX软件对波前编码系统进行设计,权衡了离焦不敏感性和图像可恢复性.比较了带有立方相位编码板和带有修正项的立方相位编码板的虹膜采集系统以及传统系统的焦深延拓效果.发现采用立方相位编码板的虹膜采集光学系统的焦深延拓效果最佳,其焦深是传统系统的8倍.该系统增大了虹膜采集的距离,对于自然状态虹膜成像系统设计有一定的参考价值.  相似文献

波前编码景深延拓技术是在非相干光学系统的出瞳处加入三次位相板,对成像进行解码处理而获得清晰图像以扩大光学系统景深的技术.文章通过深入研究波前编码光学成像系统的调制传递函数(MTF),分析离焦量和位相板的调制系数对MTF的影响,并通过数值计算和曲线拟合得到位相板调制系数、系统带宽、景深延拓性能之间的关系.该研究成果为位相板的调制系数的选择和景深延拓光学系统的设计提供依据. 关键词: 波前编码 景深延拓 调制传递函数 三次位相板  相似文献

The validity of a focal length function is investigated in designing optical element with long focal depth and high lateral resolution. The designed lenses with different starting focal length are studied. Two focusing performance measures, focal depth and lateral resolution, are presented. Comparing with the conventional lens and optical element designed by other focal length function, numerical results of the designed optics element indicate that the long focal depth and high lateral resolution are achieved. The validity of the focal length function is confirmed. Meanwhile, the designed optical element is similar with the lens with spherical aberration. It means that one can easily implement long focal depth by applying appropriate phase modulation to a lens with spherical aberration.  相似文献

显微物镜的景深问题限制数字显微全息在大纵深视场中的应用. 本文充分利用数值重建的特点, 采取低频和高频系数子图上的最大亮度梯度的局部方差作为聚焦判据, 在小波分解域内对显微全息重建图像的景深扩展问题进行了研究. 对倾斜的连续物体碳纤维进行三维重建, 分析了重建距离与直径测量误差的关系. 以超声波雾化器生成的微液滴颗粒场为例, 对离散颗粒场的重建图像进行了景深扩展. 利用基于广义洛伦兹-米散射理论的模型分别模拟1-15 μm 的非透明与透明离散颗粒的显微全息图, 分析了该方法重建的颗粒场的纵深定位误差与夫琅禾费系数的关系, 对比了非透明与透明颗粒纵深定位误差的异同点. 实验和模拟结果显示出该方法对于连续物体和离散颗粒场的显微全息重建图像的景深扩展能力, 且能由此准确重建物体信息.  相似文献

分析了浅海甚低频声场中的垂直双水听器的互谱特性,尤其关注了声场中只存在两阶简正波时声压互谱的有功分量.数值计算表明:当两个水听器的深度布放合理时,声压互谱有功分量的正负号分布与水平距离无关,选择合适的水听器深度布放组合,可以用于水面目标、水下目标的双择判决;声速分布对该方法的使用影响不大,海底存在吸收将影响算法的作用距离,但在有效作用距离内,该算法仍有较好的稳健性.运用Pekeris波导有效深度的概念建立了声压互谱有功分量正负号分布特性的近似理论分析并可预报双水听器合理的布放深度.理论分析揭示了双水听器布放深度之和应等于波导有效深度,并且在有效深度限制的波导范围内,整个声场的声压互谱有功分量的正负号分布被分为三个水平区域.理论分析加深了对浅海低频声场特性的理解,对该算法的实际使用有指导意义. 关键词: 目标深度分类 浅海低频声场 声压互谱 有功分量  相似文献

The point spread function (PSF) caused by a wavefront coding system with a cubic phase mask has big side-lobes which leads to bad image restoration. This paper proposes a novel apodized cubic phase mask to suppress the side-lobes of the PSF. Simulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize the cubic and the truncation parameter of the phase mask. The system with the novel phase mask has better performance in the modulation transfer function (MTF) especially in low-and-medium spatial frequency region. The simulation results show that the restored images with the novel phase mask are superior to the one with the classic cubic phase mask in contrast and ringing effect. The experimental results show that the side-lobes of the PSF are suppressed by using the apodized cubic phase mask.  相似文献

In view of second-order coherence theory, the generalized diffractive axicon illuminated by partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beams is analyzed. An analytical equation for focal depth of axicon without aperture illuminated by spatial partially coherent GSM beam is derived. We showed that the off-axis images can be evaluated by using the method of stationary phase at any correlation state, hence we demonstrated that the intensity distribution of diffracted beam is a superposition of Bessel Beams of various orders. We also showed that the diffracted beam is nondiffractive only on the boundaries of the focal depth.  相似文献

为了解决传统显微物镜景深与分辨率的矛盾,采用波前编码的方法,设计研究了波前编码的10倍显微物镜,结合传统光学设计软件,采用基于MTF一致性的相位板参数的优化方法,实现了在像面附近一定范围内系统的点扩散函数一致性;此外,还设计了扩展三次相位编码板的10倍显微物镜,比较了采用两种不同相位板系统的焦深扩展的效果,结果显示三次相位板的焦深扩展效果较好,可以将传统10倍显微物镜的焦深扩展15倍。成像模拟仿真结果显示滤波后的编码像在±15倍焦深范围内成像清晰,从而扩大了系统的景深。  相似文献

用矢量衍射方法分析了线偏振光入射到带有三环位相型光瞳滤波器的高数值孔径物镜时,焦点的轴向和横向光强分布.数值模拟结果表明,高数值孔径物镜聚焦时需同时考虑光强的轴向和横向分布.通过加入三环位相光瞳滤波器,在实现横向超分辨的同时实现了光学系统轴向焦深扩展和轴向光强分布平坦化,并且位相调制深度变化时,会出现轴向焦移现象.对三环位相光瞳滤波器结构进行了优化,得出了优化结果. 关键词: 光学超分辨 扩展焦深 位相型光瞳滤波器 矢量衍射方法  相似文献

During high power CO2 laser beam welding, the plasma above the keyhole has a shielding effect that it not only absorbs part of the laser energy but also defocuses the laser beam. As a result, the welding efficiency and the aspect ratio of the welds are influenced. In order to reduce the effect of plasma, helium as a plasma control gas has been used successfully and effectively. However, the cost of helium in Southeast Asia is extremely high and therefore the production cost is significantly increased when helium is used as a continuous bleeding plasma control gas. To search for an alternative plasma control technique, feasibility in using magnetic effect as a control tool is explored in this paper. The influences of the magnetic field strength, laser power, welding speed, field direction and shielding gas (e.g. helium and argon) on the penetration depth and the width of bead were also investigated. Experimental results indicated that the magnetic field can influence the shielding effect of the plasma without using plasma control gas. It was found that at a suitable magnetic field strength the penetration depth was increased by about 7%, but no significant difference on the width of bead was found. Moreover, it was shown that the plasma control effect can be achieved at low magnetic field strength and the penetration depth can be increased significantly under argon atmosphere.  相似文献

Microscopes offer a limited depth of focus which precludes the observation of a complete image of a three-dimensional (3D) object in a single view. Investigations, by a variety of researchers, have led to the development of extended depth of focus algorithms for serial optical slices of microscopic 3D objects in recent years. However, to date, no quantitative comparison of the different algorithms has been performed, generally leaving the evaluation to the subjective qualitative appreciation of the observer. In this paper we use three different tests for extended depth of focus algorithm evaluation and test 10 different algorithms, some of them have been adapted (by us) for a series of optical slices. However, the main contribution of the paper is a new improved algorithm for computing the extended depth of focus.  相似文献

Experimental results showed that an applied electric field can affect the shielding behavior of the laser-produced plasma during laser welding. It was found that at optimum field strength, the penetration depth can be increased by about 8% and the width of bead can also be reduced. In other words, the electric field can be used for enhancing the efficiency of the laser energy coupling to the workpiece. In addition, the influences of the electric field strength, field direction and laser power on the penetration depth and the bead width are reported.  相似文献

An analytical expression describing the vectorial field distribution of Gaussian light beams diffracted by an axicon is obtained. The theoretical analysis and simulation calculation show that for the linearly x-polarized light incident on an axicon, the y-component of the diffraction field is very small and the x-component dominates. The intensity of the z-component along the propagation direction is related with the open angle and index of axicon. The open angle plays the more important role in determining the polarization than does the index. For a small open angle, the z-polarized effect can be neglected and the scalar method is simple and valid to evaluating the diffraction field distribution of axicon. However, the vectorial method has to be used for great open angle.  相似文献
