在自适应光学中使用区域法进行波前重构的一个主要困难是计算量非常大。通过对重构矩阵进行小波变换 ,并对生成的矩阵选取门限 ,获得稀疏矩阵 ,从而可在对重构精度仅有轻微影响的情况下 ,显著降低计算量 ,提高计算速度。文中根据 Bowman[1 ]的理论分析 ,证实了小波变换应用于 Kolmogorov大气扰动重构的适用性 ,提出了适合工程设计应用的门限选择方法和评价参数 ,针对 Kovlmogorov大气扰动进行了计算机仿真 ,给出了有实际应用价值的结果 相似文献

We demonstrate a technique for making copies of optical vortices with the same topological charge using a single spatial light modulator. It has been shown that by using suitable diffractive optical elements, several copies of optical vortices with the same topological charge could be created. We have devised diffractive optical elements using a single spatial light modulator which could be used to make a vortex and its copies without inverting the charge. The nature of the topological charge was investigated with the interferometric technique. The experimental results are verified with the theoretical analysis. We anticipate that our results may find applications ranging from optical manipulation to quantum information. 相似文献

提供了一种简单且精度较好的测量液晶空间光调制器相位调制特性的方法,即相位与电压(灰度)之间的关系。采用数字波面移相干涉仪,由干涉仪直接给出不同灰度对应的相位差,从而得到液晶空间光调制器的相位调制曲线。利用液晶空间光调制器实现了波前校正。由干涉仪作波前测试,对待校正的畸变波前进行泽尼克多项式描述,根据液晶空间光调制器的相位与灰度的关系,产生相应的灰度图,获得畸变波前的共轭波前,从而完成静态波前的校正,使相关参数如PV值、RMS值和Strehl比值得到了改善。 相似文献

A novel holographic display system is proposed in this paper. The system takes LC-R2500, a kind of reflective liquid crystal spatial light modulator, (LC-SLM) as the core display unit, which can meet the requirement of real-time reconstruction of three-dimensional (3D) objects from holograms in free space. The relationship between hologram recording and image reconstruction is discussed, and the parameters associated with the magnification of reconstructed image over original object are determined. We utilize nitroanisole, that absorbs infrared (IR) radiation as heat, as an optical modulation device based on a thermal process. The nitroanisole exhibits a thermal lens effect, i.e. a temperature dependent refractive index. Hence, the nitroanisole can induce phase modulation to visible light, in direct response to intensity of the incident IR radiation. The proposed method can be used to obtain the phase modulation distribution that corresponds to the IR intensity distribution, i.e. the IR hologram itself, on the nitroanisole by examining the phase map of visible light that is modulated upon passing through the nitroanisole. The IR wavefront can be reconstructed by calculating extracted IR holograms through the Fresnel transform. It is verified that both the amplitude and the phase of the IR wavefront can be reconstructed accurately by proposed method. 相似文献

提出了基于相干波面光强分布的静态干涉图数字处理的新方法 ,即在CQG Ⅱ型激光数字波面干涉仪上通过分别微调参考镜和被测镜的倾斜量 ,在CCD探测器上获得形成静态干涉图的两幅相干波面光强分布图 ,利用这两幅光强分布图与它们所形成的干涉图 ,可高精度地完成静态干涉图的数字分析。利用相干原理 ,给出了实现该方法的基本过程 ,并编程实现了该数字分析 ,获得了实验测量结果。通过与相移测量结果相比较 ,验证该方法对口径为 60mm的平面有望达到的测量精度。 相似文献

The tendency today is to replace high-dynamic light modulators by high-speed binary ones (of which the micromirror is the best example). This kind of spatial light modulators (SLM) fulfils all the present needs in displays. They are used in optical communications as binary systems and also in display applications (video projectors) with temporal multiplexing, in order to generate greyscale or colour images. In optical processing, and in the majority of coherent applications, temporal dithering introduces some distortions. In this paper, this point is studied with simulations. We point out that temporal multiplexing cannot be used in the Fourier plane. In the imaging plane, the distortion is weak if the filter has a positive impulse response. 相似文献

To study the optical path difference (OPD) of optical widow in which light beams transmit under the aerodynamic thermal environment, a grid model is introduced. Based on it, the aero-optical effect of the side-mounted window is analyzed in detail combining the optical transmission theory and the numerical simulation method. Firstly, the temperature and stress of the window are simulated, and then the OPD is obtained through the refractive index. To demonstrate it, temperature field, deformation field and stress field of the window are calculated and analyzed. The influences of thermal shock and atmosphere pressure on the OPD are discussed. 相似文献

Theoretical calculations of the wavelength dependence of the ocular wavefront aberrations are performed with individual eye model. Individual eye model, based on the traditional Gullstrand-Le Grand eye model, has been established with measured individual cornea data, eyeball depth and wavefront aberrations. We analyze the wavelength-dependent wavefront aberrations at 12 different visible wavelengths (between 400 and 750 nm) for eight eyes. The change of defocus with wavelength (longitudinal chromatic aberration, LCA) is noticeable, and in good agreement with the results from references. In most cases, the primary spherical aberration changes significantly with wavelength. In comparison with the primary spherical aberration, the other higher-order wavefront aberrations have a smaller change with wavelength. These results have potential applications in those situations where defocus or higher-order wavefront aberrations information in arbitrary wavelength is required. 相似文献

We investigate the pattern dependency of the 40-Gb/s optical duobinary signals generated by a 10-Gb/s-rated Mach-Zehnder modulator with four different configurations. These configurations correspond to all possible combinations of a 15-GHz-bandwidth low-pass filter and a 0.24-nm bandwidth optical filter used to shape up the duobinary signals. We compare through experiment the back-to-back sensitivities and transmission performances of the duobinary signals for pseudorandom bit sequence lengths of 27-1 and 231-1. The results show that the combination of the 10-Gb/s-rated modulator and the 0.24-nm optical filter exhibits the best performance in terms of both the receiver sensitivity and pattern dependency owing to the good frequency response of the optical filter. 相似文献

We have numerically and experimentally investigated how to generate high-repetitive frequency millimeter (mm)-wave using multi-cascaded intensity modulators based on optical carrier suppression (OCS) scheme. We have found the rule how to generate the high-repetitive frequency mm-wave by adjusting the repetitive frequency of the radio-frequency (RF) signals and the phase relation between the RF signals on the intensity modulators. We present a method for improving the dispersion tolerance of an optical duobinary transmitter based on a dual-arm Mach-Zehnder (MZ) modulator and an optical delay interferometer without electrical low-pass filters. Since such a duobinary modulator using a standard 1-bit delay cannot provide high dispersion tolerance, we investigated the impact of the modulator driving voltages and the bit delay in the interferometer to improve the transmitter’s dispersion tolerance. 相似文献

The mechanism of wavefront reconstruction by geometric-optical reflection of reconstruction radiation from surfaces with constant phase differences between the object and reference waves has been investigated. The main difference between this mechanism and a holographic one is the absence of diffraction of the reconstructing radiation by the periodic structure and as a consequence the achromatism of the reconstruction process. Incoherent continuous radiation and ultrashort laser pulses were used in the experiments. The effect of achromatic reconstruction has been obtained after recording the interference of counterpropagating 30–40 fs pulses from an Al2O3:Ti3+ laser in bulk media. 相似文献

We consider physical conditions for realizing the Bragg regime of one-, two-, and three-phonon scattering of light in optically anisotropic crystalline materials. The exact and closed analytical models for describing these regimes are developed and solved. The performed analysis takes into account an opportunity of realizing 100% efficiency of light scattering in these regimes. Possible applications lie in the fields of creating large-aperture modulators of light. In connection with this, the problems of optimizing the frequency bandwidths and potential resolution of such modulators are studied. Reasonable attention is paid to the contribution of acoustic anisotropy to frequency bandwidth. The analytical results are illustrated by computer simulations and compared with proof-of-principle experimental data related to a multi-phonon light scattering in a tellurium dioxide crystal. 相似文献

We propose a novel optical mm-wave generation scheme based on three parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators (MZMs) for the first time. First, the scheme is investigated theoretically, which suggests that it can be used for sextupling, 12-tupling, and 18-tupling mm-wave generation. Then simulation results are given, 60 GHz mm-wave is generated from 5 GHz, or 10 GHz RF oscillator based on frequency 12-tupling or sextupling, and 90 GHz mm-wave is generated from 5 GHz RF oscillator based on frequency 18-tupling. The optical sideband suppression ratio (OSSR) and the radio frequency spurious suppression ratio (RFSSR) are analyzed by simulation, in which several non-ideal factors are taken into consideration. Results indicate that all the three mm-wave generation methods are practical and very good performance can be obtained when the extinction ratio of the MZM is 30 dB, even if the extinction ratio of the MZM is 20 dB, the performance is still good, especially for the sextupling mm-wave generation method, whose performance is excellent and insensitive to the extinction ratio of MZM, the non-ideal RF driving voltage and the non-ideal DC bias. At last, we set up a RoF system by simulation to verify the transmission performance of the scheme. The BER performance and eye diagrams are given. 相似文献
