The differential cross section and the polarization quantities (T11, T20, T21, T22, Pγ') in the deuteron breakup reaction by an α-particle are calculated in the framework of the recently developed three-body model. All values are discussed under the incomplete kinematical condition. All polarization quantities are caused by the difference of the potential between p32 and p12 waves of the N-α interaction. Results of the calculation are compared with the available measurement of (i) the differential cross section and the deuteron vector analysing power in the 4He(d, p)n4He reaction and (ii) the differential cross section and neutron polarization in the 2H(α, n)p4He reaction. The agreement with experiment is very satisfactory in each case. Among the tensor analysing powers of the deuteron the absolute value of T20 is very large. Observables at the FSI peak corresponding to 5Heg.s. are discussed systematically in the energy region of 5.4–20 MeV of the incident deuteron in the 4He(d, p)n4He reaction. Although the differential cross section is not sensitive to the energy of the three-body resonance, the polarization quantities T11, T20, Pγ' are quite sensitive to it.  相似文献

Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons and alpha-particles emitted from the reactions in thed+9Be-system atE d =7 MeV as well as excitation functions at selected angles in the energy rangeE d =6.5–7.5 MeV (LAB) were measured. The potential part of the elastic scattering is described by the phenomenological optical model. The compound nucleus contribution to all exit channels is determined using the Hauser-Feshbach model. The collective excitation of the 2.43 MeV excited state of9Be and transfer processes are analysed within the DWBA formalism. The analyses suggest a significant contribution of five-nucleon transfer to the (d,4He) channel.  相似文献

Tensor correlations in 4He were studied via the (p, dp) reaction at the incident energy of 392 MeV with a focus on spin configurations of correlated pn pairs in 4He at high relative momenta ${(P_{\rm rel}^{\rm cor})}$ . The preliminary results show that the correlated pn pair at ${P_{\rm rel}^{\rm cor} = 310 {\rm MeV/c}}$ predominantly has the channel spin S = 1, which is consistent with the characteristics of tensor correlations.  相似文献

The left-right asymmetry for the3He(d, p)4He reaction has been measured with a polarized3He target at a bombarding energy of 12 MeV. The experimental results are compared with proton polarization measurements for unpolarized target and beam. The construction of the optically pumped3He target is described. A special design has been chosen to overcome the difficulty that the target contamination caused by the bombarding particles destroys the polarization. The target can easily be purified without removing it from the experimental set-up.  相似文献

The 3He(3He,2p)4He and 3H(3H,2n)su4He reactions are studied in a microscopic cluster model. We search for resonances in the 3He+3He and 4He + p + p channels using methods that treat the two- and three-body resonance asymptotics correctly. Our results show that the existence of a low-energy resonance or virtual state, which could influence the 7Be and 8B solar neutrino fluxes, is rather unlikely. Our calculated 3He(3He,2p)4He and 3H(3H,2n)4He cross sections are in a good general agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

An assertion made in a recent paper dealing with the28Si(3He,d) reaction to the 1/2+ ground state of29P, namely that the spectroscopic factor extracted in the conventional way using DWBA analyses has a strong energy dependence, is shown to be due to a complication of inconsistent DWBA analyses by various authors, rather than being due to any intrinsic feature of the28Si(3He,d) reaction mechanism.  相似文献

The (3He,d) and (α, t) reactions on targets of146Nd and148Sm have been studied, using beams of 24 MeV3He and 27 MeV4He from the McMaster University tandem van de Graaff accelerator. Also the (t, α) reaction on a target of148Sm has been studied, using 17 MeV tritons from the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory tandem accelerator. The reaction products were analyzed with magnetic spectrographs. Information on thel-values was obtained from (3He,d) angular distributions and from ratios of (α,t) and (3He,d) cross sections. In each nucleus a severe fragmentation of the shell-model strength is found. In particular a total of 13(7)l=2 transitions and 6(6)l=0 transitions have been identified in147Pm(149Eu). The results are analyzed in terms of the spherical shell model, which accounts fairly well for the summed spectroscopic strengths. However, with the existence of the (t, α) data a more detailed investigation of the emptiness of individual levels observed in147Pm gives some indication that a deformed scheme might be more successful in describing these nuclei.  相似文献

A measurement of absolute differential cross sections of the3He(d,3Hp)p reaction atE d=23.083 MeV shows the importance of the quasi-free reaction (QFR) mechanism. The observation of a prominent QFR peak indicates that complicated multiple-scattering processes may not be so important as to prevent a simple phenomenological analysis based on two-body interactions. In this respect we isolate final-state-interaction (FSI) effects related toS andP wave3H-p interactions. In particular, the FSI, associated with the4He level at 25.5 MeV of excitation energy, plays a dominant role.  相似文献

Ab initio calculation of the total cross section for the reactions 4He(γ, p)3H and 4He(γ, n)3He is presented, using state-of-the-art nuclear forces. The Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method is applied, which allows exact treatment of the final state interaction (FSI). The dynamic equations are solved using the effective interaction hyperspherical harmonics method. In this calculation of the cross sections the three-nucleon force is fully taken into account, except in the source term of the LIT equation for the FSI transition matrix element.  相似文献

The (3He,d) reaction on targets of142Nd,144Nd and on a target of natural Nd have been studied, using a beam of 24 MeV3He from the McMaster University Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator. The reaction products were analyzed with an Enge type magnetic spectrograph and recorded on photographic emulsions. Information on thel-values was obtained from the (3He,d) angular distribution. In the143Pm nucleus no fragmentation of the shell model strength was found while in the145Pm nucleus the fragmentation of thed 3/2 ands 1/2 states was significant, giving a total of 11l=2 and 51=0 transitions. The results are analyzed in terms of the spherical shell model and the agreement with pairing theory is excellent in both cases. A survey of the stripping strength to promethium isotopes with mass numbers ranging fromA=143 toA=151 is presented, using normalizations based on the results from the experiments on the target of natural neodymium.  相似文献

The vector analyzing power in the 4He(d, p) reaction at 10–11 MeV deuteron energy is analyzed by using a semi-phenomenological method. The values for the free parameters are determined by an analysis of the 4He(d, αp)n reaction at 9 MeV deuteron energy. An excellent fit to the experimental data for the vector analyzing power as well as the absolute differential cross sections is obtained.  相似文献

An argument is given that the mechanism of charge polarization cannot give rise to E1 radiation in the 2H(d, Υ)4He reaction. It then follows that E1 radiation produced in this reaction probably arises from the spin-dependent part of the E1 operator, although small E1 admixtures have been shown to arise in coupled-channels calculations as a result of Coulomb-induced isospin mixing in 3H and 3He. A proper calculation of this reaction should consider mesonexchange currents and remains to be performed. The two-body knock-out reaction 4He(e, e'd )d is calculated at various momentum transfers. The full four-nucleon dynamics is taken into account microscopically both in the initial and the final states. As NN interaction the central MT-I/III potential is used. The calculation shows a strong reduction of the coincidence cross-section due to the final-state interaction. Nonetheless, the theoretical results exhibit a considerable overestimation of the experimental cross-section at lower momentum transfer. Comparisons with other, less complete, calculations suggest that consideration of a more realistic ground state might not be sufficient for a good agreement with experiment, rather a more realistic final-state interaction could play an essential role.  相似文献

The excitation function of the reaction7Li(d, α)5He has been measured between 0.6 and 2.0 MeV in steps of 50 keV. The two resonances at 0.75 and 1.00 MeV corresponding to the levels at 17.28 and 17.48 of the compound nucleus9Be were resolved. Angular distribution measurements were performed at 14 different energies mainly near the 1.00 MeV resonance. From the analysis of the data the 17.28 MeV level seems to be a positive parity state (3/2+ → 7/2+) whilst a negative parity (7/2? or 9/2?) is indicated for the 17.48 MeV level. This is contrary to the order of parities as given in the literature.  相似文献

The proton stripping reaction98Mo(3He,d)99Tc is studied with 18 MeV3He ion beam. The out-going deuterons from the reaction are analysed using an Enge magnetic spectrograph. The experimental angular distributions are compared with distorted-wave-Born-approximation calculations, andl-values and spectroscopic factors are obtained. Many of the previous spin-parity assignments for the low-lying states in99Tc are confirmed and new ones are made. The proton configuration for the ground state of98Mo is deduced.  相似文献

The halo nucleus 6He has been studied in a pionic fusion experiment at the CELSIUS storage ring facility in Uppsala. The 6He nuclei were produced in reactions with a deuteron beam incident on a 4He jet target 0.9–5.4 MeV above threshold in the center-of-mass frame. The 6He ions were detected in a ΔE-E solid-state detector telescope inserted into the CELSIUS ring. The aim of the experiment was to investigate, in particular, the high-momentum part of the halo wave function by measuring the total and differential cross sections of the reaction d+4He→6He+π +.  相似文献

The reaction 3He(d, p)4He has been investigated for ECM = 5.9−41.6 keV with the use of D projectiles and 3He atomic gas target nuclides as well as with 3He projectiles and D2 molecular gas target nuclides. These studies show for the first time the effects of electron screening on low-energy fusion cross sections, i.e. a nearly exponential enhancement of the cross sections compared to the case of bare nuclei. The enhancement is about a factor 2 smaller for the case d(3He, p)4He due to the molecular nature of the D2 target nuclides.  相似文献

We have studied the3H(d, n)4He reaction at low energies within a multi-channel resonating-group calculation based on many-bodyn+ andd+3H configurations and pseudo-states as well as on an effective nucleonnucleon interaction containing central, spin-orbit, and tensor components. The low-energy fusion cross section is excellently reproduced within our approach.Dedicated to Prof. Erich Schmid on the occasion of his 60th birthday  相似文献
