Nonautonomous dark soliton solutions in two-component Bose–Einstein condensates with a linear time-dependent potential 下载免费PDF全文
We report the analytical nonantonomous soliton solutions (NSSs) for two-component Bose-Einstein condensates with the presence of a time-dependent potential. These solutions show that the time-dependent potential can affect the velocity of NSS. The velocity shows the characteristic of both increasing and oscillation with time. A detailed analysis for the asymptotic behavior of NSSs demonstrates that the collision of two NSSs of each component is elastic. 相似文献

Spatio-spectral dynamics of soliton pulsation with breathing behavior in the anomalous dispersion fiber laser 下载免费PDF全文
We have numerically and experimentally observed the soliton pulsation with obvious breathing behavior in the anomalous fiber laser mode-locked by a nonlinear polarization rotation technique. The numerical study of the soliton pulsation with breathing behavior was analyzed through the split-step Fourier method at first, and it was found that the phase difference caused by the polarization controller would affect the breathing characteristics. Then, taking advantage of the dispersive Fourier transform technique, we confirmed the breathing characteristic of soliton pulsation in the same fiber laser as the simulation model experimentally. These results complement the research on the breathing characteristic of soliton pulsation. 相似文献

We find and stabilize high-dimensional dipole and quadrupole solitons in nonlocal competing cubic-quintic nonlinear media. By adjusting the propagation constant, cubic, and quintic nonlinear coefficients, the stable intervals for dipole and quadrupole solitons that are parallel to the x-axis and those after rotating 45° counterclockwise around the origin of coordinate are found. For the dipole solitons and those after rotation, their stability is controlled by the propagation constant, the coefficients of cubic and quintic nonlinearity. The stability of quadrupole solitons is controlled by the propagation constant and the coefficient of cubic nonlinearity, rather than the coefficient of quintic nonlinearity, though there is a small effect of the quintic nonlinear coefficient on the stability. Our proposal may provide a way to generate and stabilize some novel high-dimensional nonlinear modes in a nonlocal system. 相似文献

Two systems of two-component integrable equations are investigated. The Cole-Hopf transformation and the Hirota's bilinear method are applied for a reliable treatment of these two systems. Multiple-soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions are obtained for each system. 相似文献

Matter-wave solutions of Bose—Einstein condensates with three-body interaction in linear magnetic and time-dependent laser fields 下载免费PDF全文
We construct, through a further extension of the tanh-function method, the matter-wave solutions of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) with a three-body interaction. The BECs are trapped in a potential comprising the linear magnetic and the time-dependent laser fields. The exact solutions obtained include soliton solutions, such as kink and antikink as well as bright, dark, multisolitonic modulated waves. We realize that the motion and the shape of the solitary wave can be manipulated by controlling the strengths of the fields. 相似文献

In this paper, we report the evolution of quadratic spatial dark soliton in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN). The generation of solitons pairs by wavefront modulation methods is investigated in both numerical simulations and experiments. We found that quadratic dark spatial solitons have analogue performances compared with that in χ(3) defocusing Kerr media. 相似文献

We show analytically that in the presence of cubic and quintic nonlinearities above a certain critical power, multidimensional optical solitary waves could propagate stably in bulk media. To investigate the stability an analytical expression for the solitary-wave fields with an arbitrary transverse dimension is derived through the combined use of Galerkin’s method and self-consistent-field approximation. 相似文献

This paper develops the Hirota method carefully for applying into the growing model of quasi-one-dimensional Bose—Einstein condensations with attractive and repulsive interaction, respectively. After a tedious calculation it obtains the exact bright and dark soliton solutions analytically.
It shows that the growing model has the important effect on the soliton amplitude and the time-dependent potential only contributes to the phase and phase velocity. A detailed analysis for the asymptotic behaviour of two-soliton solutions shows that the collision of two soliton is elastic. 相似文献

ABSTRACT In this work, we develop two new integrable Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) equations with time-dependent coefficients. The integrability property of each equation is explicitly demonstrated exhibiting the Painlevé test to confirm its integrability. Moreover, each equation admits multiple real and multiple complex soliton solutions. We introduce complex forms of the simplified Hirota's method to derive multiple complex soliton solutions. These two model equations are likely to be of applicative relevance, because it may be considered an application of a large class of nonlinear KP equations. 相似文献

We show analytically that addition of a quintic term to the positive Kerr-type nonlinearity offers a unique type of kink soliton-like solution with Fermi-Dirac profile. This type of optical kink allows, in contrast to other optical kinks discovered so far, stationary kink formation not only in the time domain but in the spatial domain. The latter could admit of a route for the first time to our knowledge to spatial kink solitons of intensified laser beams. The underlying principle of the optical kink propagation is described. 相似文献

The exact solution of Spinless-Salpeter equation (SSE) in the presence of Kink-Like potential is in-vestigated. By using the basic concepts of the supersyrnmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) formalism and the functional analysis method, we have obtained the bound state solutions in the closed form and the eigenfunctions of the system are reported in the term of hypergeometric function. We have also reported some numerical results. 相似文献

Three types of two bright bound solitons with increasing coherence are investigated in the Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) with the exponentially time-dependent interparticle interaction in an expulsive parabolic potential. Two methods are provided with symbolic computation to improve the number of matter density peaks within the given temporal range before the collapse of the solitons under the one-dimensional approximation: (i) enhancing the axial harmonic oscillator frequency; (ii) increasing the initial coherence of the bound solitons. Compression of the three- and four-bright-bound-soliton trains is presented. Estimation of the net binding forces among the bound solitons gives an explanation for the interaction patterns if the coherence of the bound state is limited. Our investigation theoretically reveals the existence of the bright bound solitons in the BECs and analyzes their complex interactions. 相似文献
