As an alternative power solution for low-power devices, harvesting energy from the ambient mechanical vibration has received increasing research interest in recent years. In this paper we study the transient dynamic characteristics of a piezoelectric energy harvesting system including a piezoelectric energy harvester, a bridge rectifier, and a storage capacitor. To accomplish this, this energy harvesting system is modeled, and the charging process of the storage capacitor is investigated by employing the in-phase assumption The results indicate that the charging voltage across the storage capacitor and the gathered power increase gradually as the charging process proceeds, whereas the charging rate slows down over time as the charging voltage approaches to the peak value of the piezoelectric voltage across the piezoelectric materials. In addition, due to the added electrical damping and the change of the system natural frequency when the charging process is initiated, a sudden drop in the vibration amplitude is observed, which in turn affects the charging rate. However, the vibration amplitude begins to increase as the charging process continues, which is caused by the decrease in the electrical damping (i.e., the decrease in the energy removed from the mechanical vibration). This electromechanical coupling characteristic is also revealed by the variation of the vibration amplitude with the charging voltage.  相似文献

This Letter aims at giving a preliminary investigation of the thermal energy harvesting capabilities of a technique using the temperature-dependent permeability of ferromagnetic materials. The principles lie in the modification of the magnetic field caused by the variation of the permeability due to the temperature change, hence generating a voltage across a coil surrounding the circuit. The technique can be made truly passive by the use of magnets for applying bias magnetic field. Theoretical results, validated by experimental measurements, show a voltage output of 1.2 mV at optimal load of 2 Ω under 60 K temperature variation in 5 s (with a maximum slope of 25 K s−1). Further improvements, such as the use of low resistivity coil and magnet with high remnant magnetic field, indicate that it is possible to convert up to 7.35 μJ cm−3 K−2 cycle−1.  相似文献

This Letter exposes an electrostatic-based vibration energy scavenging scheme using a two-layer configuration made of a high permittivity material and a low permittivity layer of variable thickness. Because of the significant change in the permittivity allowed by this process, the capacitance ratio variation is much larger than in the case of a single layer (whatever the permittivity of the latter), therefore allowing an increased efficiency and a significant energy gain, by a typical factor of 50.  相似文献

采用磁致伸缩/压电层合磁电换能器设计了一个振动能量采集器,该能量采集器采用悬臂梁作为振动敏感机构,并用四个NdFeB磁铁组成磁路放在悬臂梁末端.该磁路在空气隙中产生梯度较大的非均匀磁场,使得磁电换能器在较小的振动下感应到较大的磁场变化量,输出较高的功率.利用等效磁荷理论,分析了空气隙磁场分布以及振动时磁路受到的磁力,并用林斯泰特-庞加莱法研究了能量采集器的非线性振动特性,同时将能量采集器的振动方程和换能器的磁电特性结合,分析了能量采集器谐振时的机-磁-电转换特性.通过实验表明:理论与实验符合得较好,且在加关键词:振动能量采集磁致伸缩/压电层合材料机磁电转换非线性振动  相似文献

We carry out an ultra-low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment based on high-T c superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs). The measurement field is in a micro-tesla range (~10 μT-100 μT) and the experiment is conducted in a home-made magnetically-shielded-room (MSR). The measurements are performed by the indirect coupling method in which the signal of nuclei precession is indirectly coupled to the SQUID through a tuned copper coil transformer. In such an arrangement, the interferences of applied measurement and polarization field to the SQUID sensor are avoided and the performance of the SQUID is not destroyed. In order to compare the detection sensitivity obtained by using the SQUID with that achieved using a conventional low-noise-amplifier, we perform the measurements using a commercial room temperature amplifier. The results show that in a wide frequency range (~1 kHz-10 kHz) the measurements with the SQUID sensor exhibit a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Further, we discuss the dependence of NMR peak magnitude on measurement frequency. We attribute the reduction of the peak magnitude at high frequency to the increased field inhomogeneity as the measurement field increases. This is verified by compensating the field gradient using three sets of gradient coils.  相似文献

The general formulation for the determining of transverse coupling behaviour between two different biisotropic slabs is proposed based on the method of conventional field perturbation, and some special cases are considered. 以外加磁场压电悬臂梁能量采集系统结构为研究对象, 根据磁化电流方法探讨了具有悬臂梁特征的系统结构的磁场作用力及其计算方法, 给出了相应的磁力计算模型, 并将计算结果与实验数据进行了对比. 研究表明, 磁化电流方法导出的磁力计算模型存在偏差, 其磁力计算误差随着磁铁间距缩小而增大. 通过引入悬臂梁末端磁铁的偏转角度, 对磁化电流法计算模型进行改进, 得到合理的外加磁场压电悬臂梁能量采集系统的磁力计算模型, 为该能量采集系统的进一步研究提供了可靠的磁力计算理论依据.  相似文献

 利用有限Hankel变换法,导出了周界等温-弹性支撑圆薄板在激光束辐照下的轴对称耦合热弹性弯曲振动近似解;针对具有不同弹性模量和热膨胀系数的薄板进行了热力耦合和非耦合弯曲振动的解析和有限元计算与分析。结果表明:热力耦合效应使薄板振动的振幅和周期都有所减小,其程度与材料的性能参数(如弹性模量和热膨胀系数等)密切相关,材料弹性模量和热膨胀系数越大,板振动中的热力耦合效应就越明显。  相似文献

In this paper, we present the development of a flexible PET-based (polyethylene terephthalate; PET) vibrational energy harvesting system with broad bandwidth. This broad bandwidth harvesting system comprises of four units of individual ZnO (zinc oxide) piezoelectric harvester in the form of a cantilever structure connected in parallel, and rectifying circuit with storage module. This system has ability to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy from the varying ambient vibration. The design and simulation of a piezoelectric cantilever plate was described by using commercial software ANSYS FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to determine the optimum thickness of PET substrate, internal stress distribution, operation frequency and electric potential. With the optimum thickness predicted by developed accurate analytical formula analysis, the one-way mechanical strain that is efficient to enhance the induced electric potential can be controlled within the piezoelectric ZnO layer. In addition, the relationship among the model solution of piezoelectric cantilever plate equation, vibration-induced electric potential and electric power was realized. An individual piezoelectric harvester consists of flexible PET substrate, piezoelectric ZnO thin film with (002) c-axis preferred orientation, and selectively deposited UV-curable resin lump structure which is used to change the resonant frequency of the harvester. In combination with multi-harvesters and rectifying with storage module together, an energy harvesting system with broad bandwidth can be fabricated. One individual harvester achieves a maximum OCV (open-circuit voltage) up to 4 V with power density of 1.247 μW/cm3. So far, we succeeded in accomplishing a broad bandwidth system with operating frequency range within 100 Hz-450 Hz to enhance powering efficiency. When the DC voltage (direct current voltage) across a storage module is charged up to 1.55 V after rectification, a flash LED (light emitting diode) is driven.  相似文献

A kind of hybrid device for acoustic noise reduction and vibration energy harvesting based on the silicon micro- perforated panel (MPP) resonant structure is investigated in the article. The critical parts of the device include MPP and energy harvesting membranes. They are all fabricated by means of silicon micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) tech- nology. The silicon MPP has dense and accurate micro-holes. This noise reduction structure has the advantages of wide band and higher absorption coefficients. The vibration energy harvesting part is formed by square piezoelectric membranes arranged in rows. ZnO material is used as it has a good compatibility with the fabrication process. The MPP, piezo- electric membranes, and metal bracket are assembled into a hybrid device with multifunctions. The device exhibits good performances of acoustic noise absorption and acoustic-electric conversion. Its maximum open circuit voltage achieves 69.41 mV.  相似文献

Two ferromagnetic films separated by an amorphous semiconducting spacer layer are exchange coupled across the spacer. The coupling is reversibly temperature dependent with a positive temperature coefficient making such layered systems a 2-D realization of the concept of heat-induced magnetism. By studying ferromagentic Fe layers separated by amorphous Si, Ge, or ZnSe layers we explore the possibilities to generate such an effective exchange coupling and address the question of the mechanism responsible for it.  相似文献

研究了利用系统非线性来提高悬臂梁压电振子宽带低频振动能量俘获效率的随机共振机理,通过增加一对矩形永磁铁对传统线性悬臂梁压电振子结构进行了改进,结果揭示:在外部非线性磁力作用以及合适的磁铁间距条件下,这种外加磁力悬臂梁压电振子会构成一个双稳系统,在外部宽带低频随机振动源激励下发生随机共振现象,且发生随机共振时的输出电压明显增大,从而可以扩展悬臂梁压电振子的共振频率范围、提高低频振动能量的转化输出.关键词:压电悬臂粱振动能量俘获宽带低频随机共振  相似文献

Ground-state baryon magnetic moments and nucleon axial vector coupling are calculated usingqcd inspired configuration mixing and relativistic corrections. Unlike earlier attempts, we incorporate a natural mass scale for quarks, taken as one third the nucleon mass for up and down quarks, and the strange quark mass suggested by the Lipkin’s sum rule. In the parameter-free non-relativistic limit, we find a fairly good fit, which improves upon including relativistic corrections.  相似文献

Based on a theoretical model proposed for interchain-coupled quasi-one-dimensional organic magnetic polymer, the effects of the interchain couplings and electron–electron interactions on the charge density wave (CDW) and spin density wave (SDW) that exist in the system are studied. It is found that the amplitude of the SDW along the main chain will decrease with increasing of the oscillatory term of the interchain couplings in the system, which is unfavorable to the ferromagnetic ground state of the system. Moreover, with different interchain couplings, there will all exist a critical value of the inter-site electron–electron Coulomb repulsion, and at this value, the system will experience a transformation from strong SDW state to strong CDW one, which will weaken the mediating function of the antiferromagnetic SDW along the main chain. As a result, the ferromagnetic correlation intensity between the spins of the side radicals will be affected and consequently the stability of the ferromagnetic state in the system will be weakened.  相似文献

A set of relationships between the Morse and Varshni potential functions for describing covalent bondstretching energy has been developed by imposing equal force constant and equal energy integral. In view of the extensive adoption of Morse function in molecular force fields, this paper suggests two sets of parameter conversions from Varshni to Morse. The parameter conversion based on equal force constant is applicable for small change in bond length, while the parameter conversion based on equal energy integral is more applicable for significant bond-stretching. Plotted results reveal that the Varshni potential function is more suitable for describing hard bonds rather than soft bonds.   相似文献

A numerical model is developed aiming at investigating soot formation in ethylene counterflow diffusion flames. The mass and energy coupling between soot solid particles and gas-phase species is investigated in detail. A semi-empirical two-equation model is chosen for predicting soot mass fraction and number density. The model describes particle nucleation, surface growth, and oxidation. A detailed kinetic mechanism is considered for the gas phase and the effect of considering radiation heat losses is also evaluated. Simulations were done for a range of conditions that produce low-to-significant amounts of soot using three strategies: first by changing the strain rate imposed on the flow field, second, by changing the oxygen content in the oxidant stream, and third, by changing the pressure. Additionally, the effect of the transport model chosen was analysed. The results showed that, for the flames studied and within the limits of the present work, the soot and gas radiation terms are of primary importance for numerical simulations. Additionally, it was shown that the soot mass and thermodynamic properties coupling terms are, in general, a second-order effect, with an importance that increases as soot amount increases. As a general recommendation, the radiation terms have always to be considered, whereas full coupling has to be employed only when the soot mass fraction, YS, is equal to or larger than 0.008. If a higher precision is required, with errors less than 1%, full coupling should be taken into account for YS ≥ 0.002. For lower soot amounts, the coupling through soot mass and thermodynamic properties may be neglected as a first approximation, but an error on the total mass conservation will be present. Additionally, discrepancies from considering different transport models (detailed or simplified) are larger than those found from not fully coupling the phases.  相似文献

The polycrystalline sample of layered compound FePS_3 has been investigated by using M?ssbauer spectroscopy (12K to 300K), magnetic susceptibility measurements, x-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy. The antiferromagnetic order exists below T_N=120.5±1K. The M?ssbauer spectra below T_N indicate that the magnetization axis is perpendicular to the layer of FePS_3, and the divalent iron cations are in their high spin configurations. By fitting the hyperfine field parameters near the Néel temperature, we obtain information on the nature of magnetic interactions in the material. The results show that the magnetic coupling can be treated by the two-dimensional Ising model, and it can be interpreted on the basis of a crystal-field effect.  相似文献

 利用透镜聚焦,抛物面喷管约束,结合复摆和光指针测量系统研究了单脉冲能量对吸气式激光推进冲量耦合系数的影响,实验中通过调节激光器工作电压和硅片衰减实现了脉冲能量5~70 J范围的有效拓展;进一步采用纳秒分幅高速相机拍摄了24 J能量下的流场纹影照片。结果表明:在4~9 J低能量和32~70 J较高能量区间,冲量耦合系数均较稳定;9~32 J能量下冲量耦合系数呈线性增长趋势,变化范围(6.5~21.0)×10-5 N·s·J-1;纹影照片显示流场演化经历了激光支持爆轰波、爆燃波和激波3个阶段,耦合系数的变化规律源于不同单脉冲能量对应不同的能量沉积效率。  相似文献
