The ablation of Cd has been performed by employing Q-switched Nd: YAG 10 ns laser pulses with a central wavelength of 1064 nm for a pulsed energy of 200 mJ under various ambient environments of argon, air and helium. The optical emission spectroscopy of Cd plasma has been studied under different filling pressures of shield gases ranging from 5 torr to 760 torr using LIBS spectrometer system. The effect of different gases and their pressures on the intensity of spectral emission, electron temperature and density of the laser-produced plasma has been investigated. SEM analysis has been performed to investigate the dependence of surface morphological changes of an irradiated target on the nature and pressure of an ambient gas. A strong correlation has revealed the vital role of electron temperature and density of laser-induced plasma for the surface modification of Cd. These results strongly indicate that the nature and pressure of the ambient atmosphere is one of the controlling factors of the plasma characteristics, as well as the factors related to the laser energy absorption for surface modification.  相似文献

The plasma properties of a medium-vacuum nitrogen arc discharge from a titanium cathode were studied. The arc chamber use was 400 mm in diameter and 600 mm in length. The cathode diameter and thickness were 64 and 25 mm, respectively. The experimental conditions are given as follows: pressure range=1×10-3~2×10-1 torr; N2 gas flow rate=6 ml/min; arc current=50 A. Electric probe characteristics are measured as a function of pressure and distance from the cathode surface. The analytical results obtained show that the electron energy distribution takes 1-Mx at pressures above 1×10-2 torr but 2-Mx at pressures under 4×10-2 torr and that the electron density has a maximum value at a certain pressure. The Ti+, Ti++, and N +2 ion spectral intensities are measured as a function of pressure and distance from the cathode surface. On comparison of these results and the electron density, the Ti+ spectral intensity turns out to be proportional to that of the electron density. 在长度为20 cm的石英毛细管内利用两个边缘锋利的中空的针型电极之间的氩气放电产生了高电子密度的大气压等离子体。利用发射光谱对所获得的等离子体的几个重要参数进行了诊断。利用计算机谱线拟合法合成了300 nm附近OH(A-X)的(0-0)转动谱带并通过与测量谱线的比较确定了等离子体的气体温度,根据Hβ谱线Stark展宽法计算了等离子体的电子密度,采用玻尔兹曼曲线斜率法依据测得的有关氩的发射光谱估算了等离子体的电子温度。研究结果表明,这种石英毛细管内弧光放电等离子体的气体温度约为(1 100±50)K;电子密度数量级在1014 cm-3;电子温度约为(14 515±500)K。  相似文献

 采用双极扩散近似的流体力学模型,通过数值模拟方法研究了射频感应耦合等离子体(ICP)中等离子体密度和电子温度等物理量的空间分布,其中射频源的功率沉积由动力学理论给出。分析了不同的射频线圈的驱动电流和放电气压对等离子体密度和电子温度空间分布的影响。在低气压下,等离子体密度基本上保持空间均匀分布。随着放电压强的增加,等离子体密度的分布呈现出明显的空间不均匀性。当线圈电流增大时,等离子体密度和电子温度都随着增大。  相似文献

Measurements of relative intensities of spectral lines and of plasma parameters have been carried out in an Ar-O2 d.c. glow discharge under the following conditions: gas pressures of 1, 2 and 3 torr and partial pressures for O2 of 0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05 and 0.1 torr. Many of the Ar line intensities decreased when O2 was added, while some were enhanced. Enhancement of the 6677A and 7504A lines has been most notable. The number density of metastable Ar atoms is decreased when O2 is added. Upon addition of O2, the electron temperature is decreased and the electron density increased, except at a gas pressure of 1 torr; the electric field strength in the positive column is also increased.  相似文献

Two surface wave plasma columns, generated by microwave power in argon at gas pressures of 0.05 torr to 330 torr, interact in the same discharge tube to form standing surface waves. Radial electric field Er and azimuthal magnetic field H? outside the discharge tube are measured to be 90° out of phase with respect to axial position and to decay exponentially with radial distance from the tube axis. Maximum light emission occurs at the position of maximum H?, and minimum Er. Electron temperature and density are measured at low pressures with double probes inserted into the plasma at a null of Er. Measured electron densities compare well with those predicted by Gould-Trivelpiece (GT) surface wave theory. Measured electron temperatures are the same order of magnitude as temperatures predicted by positive column theory.  相似文献

通过Langmuir双探针和发射光谱诊断方法,对比研究了驱动频率为13.56 MHz和2 MHz柱状感性耦合等离子体中电子密度和电子温度的径向分布规律.结果表明:在高频和低频放电中,输入功率的增加对等离子体参数产生了不同的影响,高频放电中主要提升了电子密度,低频放电中则主要提升了电子温度.固定气压为10 Pa,分别由高频和低频驱动时,电子密度的径向分布均为"凸型".而电子温度的分布差异比较明显,高频驱动时,电子温度在腔室中心较为平坦,在边缘略有上升;低频驱动时,电子温度随径向距离的增加而逐渐下降.为了进一步分析造成这种差异的原因,在相同放电条件下采集了氩等离子体的发射光谱图,利用分支比法计算了亚稳态粒子的数密度,发现电子温度的径向分布始终与亚稳态粒子的径向分布相反.继续升高气压到100 Pa,发现不论高频还是低频放电,电子密度的径向分布均从"凸型"转变为"马鞍形",较低气压时电子密度的均匀性有了一定的提升,但低频的均匀性更好.  相似文献

Hydrogen storage properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) after exposure to a pressure of 14.3 MPa are studied by (1)H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The nanotubes were carefully pre-characterized using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Raman spectroscopy. We have shown previously that at ambient temperature in the pressure range from 0 to 1.5 MPa, hydrogen adsorption is fast and reversible and must be described as physisorption. However, exposure to a much higher pressure (14.3 MPa) of hydrogen leads to slower desorption kinetics where longer exposure causes greater hydrogen uptake. Our data suggest that interstitial sites and the tube interior may be identified as these strong adsorption sites.  相似文献

Magnetically confined argon plasma produced by hollow cathode arc discharge has been studied in different experimental conditions, with discharge current from 10–50 A, vessel argon pressure between 10–3 and 10–4 torr (1 torr=133·32 Pa) and axial magnetic field up to 0·12 T. The plasma density measured by a cylindrical Langmuir probe is found to be 1019 to 4 × 1019 m–3 and the electron temperatureT e varies between 2·5 and 4·8 eV. When an external axial magnetic field is applied the plasma temperature decreases with the increase in the magnetic field intensity until it reaches a minimum value at 0·075T and then increases with the same rate. This has been interpreted as high frequency waves excitation due to electron beam-plasma interaction, which explains the electron density jumps with the magnetic field intensity. Enhanced plasma transport across the magnetic field is studied and classified as anomalous diffusion.  相似文献

The arc discharge plasma actuator (ADPA) has wide application prospects in high‐speed flow control because of its local heating effect and strong disturbance. In this paper, the influence of ambient pressure, which ranges from 3 to 20 kPa, on the performance of a two‐electrode ADPA is investigated by a schlieren system. The duration of the arc heated region, as well as its area, is extracted by image processing. As the ambient pressure increases, different flow field evolutions occur. The duration of the ADPA heated region increases with the ambient pressure. The maximum duration reaches 1185.3 µs at 20 kPa. The velocity of the discharge‐induced blast shock wave first decreases gradually and then remains at 345 m/s for all air pressures. The blast shock wave has a higher velocity at lower pressures when it is freshly produced. A maximum blast shock wave velocity of 582 m/s is observed at the pressure of 7 kPa. The arc heated region is not sensitive to ambient pressure, but the deposited energy from the arc increases when the pressure increases.  相似文献

In this work, syndiotactic polypropylene/multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) nanocomposites, in various concentrations, were produced using melt mixing. The influence of the addition of MWCNT on the morphology, crystalline form, and the thermal and electrical properties of the polymer matrix was studied. To that aim, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, and dielectric relaxation spectroscopy were employed. Significant alterations of both the crystallization behavior and the thermal properties of the matrix were found on addition of the carbon nanotubes: conversion of the disordered crystalline form I to the ordered one, increase of the crystallization temperature and the degree of crystallinity, and decrease of the glass transition temperature and the heat capacity jump. Finally, the electrical percolation threshold was found between 2.5–3.0 wt.% MWCNT. For comparison purposes, the results of the system studied here are also correlated with the findings from a previous work on the isotactic polypropylene/MWCNT system.  相似文献

利用流体模型模拟和发射光谱实验诊断相结合的方法,研究了中等气压、中等功率下射频容性耦合等离子体的放电特性。理论上,采用基于流体模型的COMSOL软件仿真,建立一维等离子体放电模型,以Ar气为工作气体,研究了不同气压以及不同射频输入功率下等离子体电子温度和电子密度的分布规律。实验上,依据仿真模型设计制作了相同尺寸的密闭玻璃腔体和平板电极,采用13.56 MHz射频放电技术电离腔体内的工作气体Ar气,测量了不同气压、不同射频输入功率时放电等离子体的发射光谱。通过分析和选择适当的Ar Ⅰ和Ar Ⅱ的特征谱线,分别利用玻尔兹曼斜率法以及沙哈-玻尔兹曼方程计算了等离子体的电子温度与电子密度,并结合模拟仿真结果对光谱诊断结果进行了修正。结果表明:当气体压强为300~400 Pa、输入功率为600~800 W时,等离子体近似服从玻尔兹曼分布,此时利用光谱法得到的等离子体参数与仿真结果相符合。仿真模拟与光谱实验诊断相结合的方法可初步诊断出中等气压下等离子体的放电参数,增加了玻尔兹曼斜率法和沙哈-玻尔兹曼方程在等离子体放电中的使用范围,扩大了光谱法在低电子密度容性耦合等离子体参数诊断的应用场合,为中等气压容性耦合等离子体在工业与军事上的应用研究提供了重要物理状态的分析手段。  相似文献

 研究了气压对双射频氩氧混合等离子体电子温度和电子密度的影响。在13.56MHz低频功率和94.92MHz高频功率固定为60W和氩氧气体比为1:9的情况下,利用发射光谱法分析了气压不同时氩氧混合等离子体的放电光谱中的特征谱线的变化规律。使用一维质点网格法(PIC-MC)静电模型计算了电子温度和电子密度。结果表明:电子温度随着气压的增加先降低后升高,与实验结果趋势相吻合;电子密度随着气压的增加先增大后减小。  相似文献

大气压下介质阻挡放电应用领域具有多范畴、深广度、常态化等优势,针对同轴电极放电试验进行了系列参数诊断。采用自主研发的介质阻挡放电助燃激励器,在一个标准大气压、放电频率11.4 kHz、放电峰值电压5.4~13.4 kV(间隔1.0 kV)条件下进行了氩气电离试验。采用原子发射光谱法(AES)对氩等离子体谱线的激发、分光进行了检测分析;选用二谱线法及Boltzmann法测试了电子激励温度;根据Stark展宽效应计算了电子密度;获得了电子激励温度及电子密度随放电峰值电压增长的变化规律。结果表明,在试验电压条件下电子激励温度并不随外加电压的升高而递增,这表明通道内微放电的主要特征并不依赖于外部电压的供给,而是取决于气体组份、气体压强和放电模型,增大外加放电电压仅增加单位时间内微放电的数量,经整合电子激励温度可达3 500 K符合典型的低温等离子体特征;电子密度随外加电压的增长而趋于准线性趋势,电子密度数量级可达到108~109 cm-3,电离度偏弱。这些参数的探索对等离子体研讨有重大意义。  相似文献

Plasma of electric arc discharge between melted electrodes was experimentally investigated. Diagnostics of electric arc plasma was carried out. Optical emission and absorption spectroscopy was used to obtain radial profiles of temperature, electron density and neutral atoms concentration. 利用介质阻挡放电等离子体化学气相沉积技术,在蒸镀有25nm Ni催化剂层的Si基片上,以CH4和H2作为反应气体,在973K下制备了碳纳米管,并研究了微量水的引入对碳纳米管形貌的影响.场发射扫描电子显微镜结果表明,不加水时,制备出的碳纳米管直径不均匀,分布在40—90nm之间,呈链节状的结构;加入少量水时,制备出的碳纳米管直径比较均匀,集中在70nm左右,表面为瘤状结构;当水的流量进一步增加时,得到的碳纳米管表面光滑,出现了枝状结构.原位测量了加水前后等离子体区的发射光谱,分析了微量水的引入对于碳纳米管形貌变化的影响机理. 关键词: 碳纳米管 介质阻挡放电 水 发射光谱  相似文献

The paper presents a model of arc in a d.c. vortex plasma torch which allows to determine distributions of temperature and plasma electron density in conditions of reduced pressure. The model makes it possible to elucidate voltage-current characteristics of the arc at different pressures and its dynamic behaviour connected with the phenomenon of the electric arc root displacement. The experimental research also determined voltage-current characteristics for different flow rates and pressures. The fluctuations of the arc current and the arc voltage were measured. The corresponding wave shapes were analysed by Fast Fourier Transform. The frequency variations with flow rate, arc current and pressure were studied and discussed.  相似文献

A spark plasma was created in a hydrogen atmosphere at 50 torr by a high voltage discharge (10 kV) and showed severe deviations from equilibrium behaviour, as indicated by measured values of pressure, electron density and population densities. Three techniques were applied for the evaluation of the electron temperature. The method based on the ionization rate equation gave results in satisfactory agreement with the expected values.  相似文献
