This paper analyses a system of two independent qubits off-resonantly coupled to a common non-Markovian reservoir at zero temperature. Compared with the results in Markovian reservoirs, we find that much higher values of entanglement can be obtained for an initially factorized state of the two-qubit system. The maximal value of the entanglement increases as the detuning grows. Moreover, the entanglement induced by non-Markovian environments is more robust against the asymmetrical couplings between the two qubits and the reservoir. Based on this system, we also show that quantum state transfer can be implemented for arbitrary input states with high fidelity in the non-Markovian regime rather than the Markovian case in which only some particular input states can be successfully transferred.  相似文献

The correlation dynamics are investigated for various bi-partitions of a composite quantum system consisting of two qubits and two independent and non-identical noisy environments. The two qubits have no direct interaction with each other and locally interact with their environments. Classical and quantum correlations including the entanglement are initially prepared only between the two qubits. We find that contrary to the identical noisy environment case, the quantum correlation transfer direction can be controlled by combining different noisy environments. The amplitude-damping environment determines whether there exists the entanglement transfer among bi-partitions of the system. When one qubit is coupled to an amplitude-damping environment and the other one to a bit-flip one, we find a very interesting result that all the quantum and the classical correlations, and even the entanglement, originally existing between the qubits, can be completely transferred without any loss to the qubit coupled to the bit-flit environment and the amplitude-damping environment. We also notice that it is possible to distinguish the quantum correlation from the classical correlation and the entanglement by combining different noisy environments.  相似文献

The models of two qubits separately trapped in two independent Markovian or non-Markovian environments have been investigated. The distinction of the two-qubit entanglement dynamics in different environments has also been discussed in detail. The results show that, in non-Markovian environments, the possible usage time of entanglement can be extended due to its memory effect. On the other hand, we note that, compared to Markovian environments, the two-qubit entanglement could be protected better in non-Markovian environments by modulating the detuning between qubits and cavities. Finally, an intuitive physical interpretation for these results is given.  相似文献

Information reconciliation is a significant step for a continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CV-QKD) system.We propose a reconciliation method that allows two authorized parties to extract a consistent and secure binary key in a CV-QKD protocol,which is based on Gaussian-modulated coherent states and homodyne detection.This method named spherical reconciliation is based on spherical quantization and non-binary low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes.With the suitable signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and code rate of non-binary LDPC codes,spherical reconciliation algorithm has a high efficiency and can extend the transmission distance of CV-QKD.  相似文献

We study the non-Markovianity of open qubit systems using the measure N proposed by Breuer, Laine and Piilo [Phys. Rev. Lett. 103 210401 (2009)]. We find that for the three types of quantum noises, amplitude-damping, dephasing and depolarizing noises, there exist some non-Markovian time intervals whose distribution is independent of the selection of the pair of initial states. Therefore, the maximization in the definition of measure N can be actually removed without influencing the detection of non-Markovianity.  相似文献

We present a Trojan-horse attack on the practical two-way continuous-variable quantum key distribution system. Our attack mainly focuses on the imperfection of the practical system that the modulator has a redundancy of modulation pulsewidth, which leaves a loophole for the eavesdropper inserting a Trojan-horse pulse. Utilizing the unique characteristics of two-way continuous-variable quantum key distribution that Alice only takes modulation operation on the received mode without any measurement, this attack allows the eavesdropper to render all of the final keys shared between the legitimate parties insecure without being detected. After analyzing the feasibility of the attack, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.  相似文献

The dynamic evolutions of the discord and entanglement of two atoms immersed in two independent Lorentzian reservoirs at zero and finite temperatures have been investigated by using the time-convolutionless master-equation method.Our results show that,nonzero temperature can induce the entanglement sudden death and accelerate the decays of discord and entanglement.The discord and the entanglement have different robustness for different initial states and their robustness may change under certain conditions.When both the non-Markovian effect and detuning are present simultaneously,due to the memory and feedback effect of non-Markovian reservoirs,the discord and entanglement can be effectively protected even at nonzero temperature by increasing the non-Markovian effect and the detuning.  相似文献

When developing a practical continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD), the detector is necessary at the receiver's side. We investigate the practical security of the CVQKD system with an unbalanced heterodyne detector. The results show that unbalanced heterodyne detector introduces extra excess noise into the system and decreases the lower bound of the secret key rate without awareness of the legitimate communicators, which leaves loopholes for Eve to attack the system. In addition, we find that the secret key rate decreases more severely with the increase in the degree of imbalance and the excess noise induced by the imbalance is proportional to the intensity of the local oscillator (LO) under the same degree of imbalance. Finally, a countermeasure is proposed to resist these kinds of effects.  相似文献

The trans-media transmission of quantum pulse is one of means of free-space transmission which can be applied in continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD) system. In traditional implementations for atmospheric channels, the 1500-to-1600-nm pulse is regarded as an ideal quantum pulse carrier. However, the underwater transmission of this pulses tends to suffer from severe attenuation, which inevitably deteriorates the security of the whole CVQKD system. In this paper, we propose an alternative scheme for implementations of CVQKD over satellite-to-submarine channels. We estimate the parameters of the trans-media channels, involving atmosphere, sea surface and seawater and find that the short-wave infrared performs well in the above channels. The 450-nm pulse is used for generations of quantum signal carriers to accomplish quantum communications through atmosphere, sea surface and seawater channels. Numerical simulations show that the proposed scheme can achieve the transmission distance of 600 km. In addition, we demonstrate that non-Gaussian operations can further lengthen its maximal transmission distance, which contributes to the establishment of practical global quantum networks.  相似文献

We study the nonlocal non-Markovian effects through local interactions between two subsystems and the correspond- ing two environments. It has been found that the initial correlations between two environments can turn a Markovian to a non-Markovian regime with extra control on the local interaction time. We further research the nonlocal non-Markovian effects from two situations: without extra control, the nonlocal non-Markovian effects only appear under the condition that two local dynamics are non-Markovian-non-Markovian (both of the two local dynamics are non-Markovian) or Markovian- non-Markovian, but not under the condition of Markovian-Markovian; with extra control, the nonlocal non-Markovian effects can occur under the condition of Markovian-Markovian. It shows that the function of correlations between two environments has an upper bound, which makes a flow of information from the environment back to the global system beginning finitely earlier than that back to one of the two local systems, not infinitely. Then, we proposed two special ways to distribute classical correlations between two environments without initial correlations. Finally, from numerical solutions in the spin star configuration, we found that the self-correlation (internal correlation) of each environment promotes the nonlocal non-Markovian effects.  相似文献

It is known that one can characterize the decoherence strength of a Markovian environment by the product of its temperature and induced damping, and order the decoherence strength of multiple environments by this quantity. By deriving the non-Markovian dissipator of the completely-positive semi-group theorem for a general system with weak coupling to its environment, we show that for non-Markovian environments there also exists a natural (albeit partial) ordering of environment-induced irreversibility within a perturbative treatment. This measure can be applied to both low-temperature and non-equilibrium environments.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of geometric measure of quantum discord between two non-interacting qubits each immersed in its own non-Markovian environment with a spectal distribution representing the electromagnetic field inside off-resonant high-Q cavity. We compared the dynamics of geometric measure of quantum discord with quantum discord for an initial Werner-like state and conclude three important findings. First, when there is an instantaneous disappearance in the dynamics of quantum discord at some timepoints, there is a disappearance in geometric measure of quantum discord, but not instantly. Second, the sudden change in the decay rate of geometric measure of quantum discord might not imply the sudden change in the decay rate of the dynamics of quantum discord. Third, there is a preservation for a long time in both quantum discord and geometric measure of quantum discord when the detuning and non-Markovian conditions are simultaneously satisfied.  相似文献

We have studied the analytical Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics of quantum correlations, such as entanglement, quantum discord and Bell nonlocalities for three noisy qubits. Quantum correlation as measured by quantum discord is found to be immune to death contrary to entanglement and Bell nonlocality for initial GHZ- or W-type mixed states.  相似文献

本文研究结构化环境中非马尔科夫耗散系统在长时演化下可能出现的极限环振荡现象. 对于欧姆型谱密度环境中的二能级系统, 由于体系只允许一个束缚态模, 给定初态系统在Bloch空间的长时演化将收敛于一个极限环. 研究揭示了极限环半径与环心位置同环境谱密度函数间的关系. 对于多带光子晶体环境中的二能级系统, 由于其可以存在多个束缚态, 研究展现了系统在长时演化下可能出现的收敛于环面或周期或准周期的振荡行为. 有关环面的特征量与环境谱密度间的量化关系同样得以刻画. 论文随后讨论了两比特系统关联量在局域非马尔科夫耗散环境中长时演化可能出现的特征行为.  相似文献

A modified continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CVQKD) protocol is proposed by originating the entangled source from a malicious third party Eve in the middle instead of generating it from the trustworthy Alice or Bob. This method is able to enhance the efficiency of the CVQKD scheme attacked by local oscillator(LO) intensity attack in terms of the generated secret key rate in quantum communication. The other indication of the improvement is that the maximum transmission distance and the maximum loss tolerance can be increased significantly, especially for CVQKD schemes based on homodyne detection.  相似文献

Non-Markovian dynamics of correlations of fermionic systems is investigated beyond the single-mode approximations in a non-inertial frame. Two well known correlation measures, quantum discord and geometric quantum discord, are analyzed for the fermionic states influenced by the non-Markovian noise. Persistence of discord is seen for longer times depending upon the level of mixedness of the fermionic system. The dynamics of the fermionic systems heavily depends upon the degree of white noise. It is shown that fermionic systems remain dependent upon the choice of Unruh modes (qRqR) beyond the single-mode approximations under non-Markovian noise. Quantum discord is found to be more robust as compared to the geometric quantum discord. Furthermore, the non-Markovian effects are more stronger than the acceleration of Bob, the accelerated partner.  相似文献

We discuss the notion of spin squeezing considering two mutually exclusive classes of spin-s states, namely, oriented and non-oriented states. Our analysis shows that the oriented states are not squeezed while non-oriented states exhibit squeezing. We also present a new scheme for construction of spin-s states using 2s spinors oriented along different axes. Taking the case of s=1, we show that the ‘non-oriented’ nature and hence squeezing arise from the intrinsic quantum correlations that exist among the spinors in the coupled state.  相似文献

The squeezing dynamics of two independent two-level atoms off-resonantly coupled to two non-Markovian reservoirs is studied by the time-convolutionless master-equation approach. We find that the squeezing of two atoms is dependent on both detuning and the non-Markovian effect. Our results show that, in the non-Markovian regime, the bigger the detuning and the stronger the non-Markovian effect are, the larger the strength of the squeezing is. And the squeezing of two atoms can be effectively protected for a long time when both the non-Markovian effect and detuning are present simultaneously. The physical mechanism is that the detuning not only can promote the feedback of information from the environment into the atomic system but also can greatly suppress the atomic decay in the non-Markovian regime.  相似文献

The quantum discord dynamics of two qubits in two independent non-Markovian reservoirs has been investigated. On the condition of resonant interactions, the result shows that the quantum discord has the phenomenon of “revival”. What is more, even in the region where the entanglement is zero, the quantum discord still can reveal the quantum correlations between the two qubits. Considering the detuning, it is interesting to note that the quantum discord can be preserved when the non-Markovian and the detuning conditions are satisfied simultaneously. We study the non-Markovian dynamics of an open quantum system with machine learning.The observable physical quantities and their evolutions are generated by using the neural network.After the pre-training is completed,we fix the weights in the subsequent processes thus do not need the further gradient feedback.We find that the dynamical properties of physical quantities obtained by the dynamical learning are better than those obtained by the learning of Hamiltonian and time evolution operator.The dynamical learning can be applied to other quantum many-body systems,non-equilibrium statistics and random processes.  相似文献
