The interaction between a two-level atom and a single-mode field in the k-photon Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM) in the presence of the Stark shift and a Kerr medium is studied. All terms in the Hamiltonian, such as the single-mode field, its interaction with the atom, the contribution of the Stark shift and the Kerr medium effects are considered to be f-deformed. In particular, the effect of the initial state of the radiation field on the dynamical evolution of some physical properties such as atomic inversion and entropy squeezing are investigated by considering different initial field states (coherent, squeezed and thermal states).  相似文献

The interaction between a◇-type four-level atom and a single-mode field in the presence of Kerr medium with intensity-dependent coupling involving multi-photon processes has been studied. Using the generalized(nonlinear)Jaynes–Cummings model, the exact analytical solution of the wave function for the considered system under particular condition, has been obtained when the atom is initially excited to the topmost level and the field is in a coherent state. Some physical properties of the atom-field entangled state such as linear entropy showing the entanglement degree, Mandel parameter, mean photon number and normal squeezing of the resultant state have been calculated. The effects of Kerr medium, detuning and the intensity-dependent coupling on the temporal behavior of the latter mentioned nonclassical properties have been investigated. It is shown that by appropriately choosing the evolved parameters in the interaction process, each of the above nonclassicality features, which are of special interest in quantum optics as well as quantum information processing, can be revealed.  相似文献

The time evolution of the linear entropy of an taking into consideration Stark shift and Kerr-like medium. atom in k-photon daynes-Cummings model is investigated The effect of both the Stark shift and Kerr-like medium on the linear entropy is analyzed using a numerical technique for the field initially in coherent state and in even coherent state. The results show that the presence of the Kerr-like medium and Stark shift has an important effect on the properties of the entropy and entanglement. It is also shown that the setting of the initial state plays a significant role in the evolution of the linear entropy and entanglement.  相似文献

Emission spectra of a (?)-type three-level atom in a Kerr medium   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We investigate the emission spectra of a (?)-type three-level atom interacting with a single-mode optical field in an ideal cavity filled with a Kerr medium and discuss the structure of emission spectrum when the optical field is initially in a pure number state and a coherent state, respectively. It is shown that the structure of emission spectrum depends not only on the photon number distribution, but also on the strength of incident field and the coupling of Kerr medium to the field.  相似文献

<正>We study the non-classical properties of the single-mode electro-magnetic field resulting from the interaction of a S-type three-level atom initially in the coherent state, such as squeezing properties and sub-Poisson statistics. We show that if there are more photons in the cavity, the squeezing will appear earlier and be stronger under the same state, but the sub-Poisson statistics will be weaker, while sub-Poisson statistics and squeezing are more pronounced after the selective atomic measurement.  相似文献

The pure state dynamical evolution of the atomic as well as the field states in the two-photon Jaynes Cumming model with a Kerr-like medium for the field initially in the coherent state is investigated under the high-field approximation (\bar{n}>>1). Analytic expressions of the disentanglement conditions and the relevant disentangled states are derived, which are closely related to Kerr nonlinear coupling constant. This study also reveals that the initial atomic excited state can be evolved into the atomic dipole squeezed state.  相似文献

The position- and momentum-entopic squeezing properties of the optical field in the system of a nearly degenerate three-level atom interacting with a single-mode field are investigated. Calculation results indicate that when the field is initially in the vacuum state, it may lead to squeezing of the position entropy or the momentum entropy of the field if the atom is prepared properly. The effects of initial atomic state and the splitting of the excited levels of the atom on field entropies are discussed in this case. When the initial field is in a coherent state, we find that position-entropy squeezing of the field is present even if the atom is prepared in the ground state. By comparing the variance squeezing and entropy squeezing of the field we confirm that entropy is more sensitive than variance in measuring quantum fluctuations.  相似文献

We present a scheme for generating four pairs of two-atom Einstein Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) states using the simultaneous interaction of the two atoms with a single-mode cavity field under a large detuning condition. The influence of cavity dissipation on the prepared EPR states is investigated by means of the superoperator method and the state fidelity. It is shown that some kinds of the prepared EPR states are robust against cavity dissipation and the intensity of the field, and maintain their entanglement invariance, and the others are fragile and completely destroyed by the action of cavity dissipation and the intensity of the field in the long-time limit. Decoherence time of the fragile entangled states is extremely small for a typical cavity-QED experimental data.  相似文献

In this communication ,two-mode nonlinear coherent states are reviewed and special cases are given,Starting from a three-level atom coupled to two modes of radiation with any form of nonlinearties of the two-mode fields.we derive a Raman-coupled effective Hamiltonian by a unitary transformation, evaluated perturbatively in coupling constants. We use the quantum entropy to measure the degree of entanglement in the time development of an effective two-level atom interacting with two-mode nonlinear-coherent states. The results show that the nolinearity effect yields the superstructure of atomic Radi oscillations and the effect of the Stark shift changes the quasiperiod of the field entropy evolution and entanglement between the particle and the field.A possible experimental test of a new effect is proposed.  相似文献

The interaction of an optical field and one of the entangled atoms is analyzed in detail in this paper. Furthermore, the dynamic properties of the two-level entangled atom are manifested. The properties of the action are dependent on the initial state of the atom. After detecting the atom out of the field, we can obtain the state of the other atom moving in the field. It is shown that the state of the atom out of the field influences the dynamic properties of the atom in the field.  相似文献

The cavity field spectrum of a cascade three-level atom interacting with single-mode field with Kerr-like medium in the cavity is investigated. The numerical results for the initial field in pure number state, coherent state and squeezed vacuum state are calculated, respectively. It is found that the Kerr-like medium affects the spectral structure even though the initial field is in vacuum when the atom is in upper level. In the case of strong input field, the number state spectrum shows two peaks with different heights; and the superposition state spectrum shows a multipeak structure with an equal distance of two neighboring peaks. The spectral "central frequency" shifts away from the resonant frequency with the increasing of average photon number.  相似文献

High-order harmonic generation below ionization threshold of He atom in the laser field is investigated by solving the three-dimensional time-dependent Schro¨dinger equation. An angular momentum-dependent model potential of He atom was used for getting the accurate energy levels of singlet states. The satellite-peak structures of the below-threshold harmonic generation(BTHG) of He are observed. We analyze the emission properties of the BTHG by employing a synchrosqueezing transform technique. We find that the satellite-peak structures have two types related to two kinds of transitions. One is the transition of the dressed states of the excited states, the other is the transition between the excited states and the ground state in the field-free case. Furthermore, our results show that the maximum Stark shift of the 2 p state is about 0.9 U_p(penderomotive energy), and that of the 4 p state is about 1.0 U_p. It indicates that the energy difference between some satellite-and main-peaks of the BTHG can be used to measure the maximum Stark shift of the excited states of He atom in the laser field.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the field entropy as a measurement of the degree of entanglement between the light field and the atoms of the system which is composed of two dipole—dipole interacting two-level atoms initially in an entangled state interacting with the single mode coherent field in a Kerr medium. The influence of the coupling constant of dipole—dipole interaction between atoms and the coupling strength of the Kerr medium with the light field and the intensity of the light field on the field entropy are discussed by numerical calculations. It is shown that when the coupling strength of the Kerr medium with the light field is large enough, and the light field is strong, the degree of entanglement between the atoms with the light field becomes weaker. The degree of entanglement only changes slightly with the change of the coupling constant of dipole—dipole interaction between atoms.  相似文献

Negativity has been adopted to investigate the entanglement in a system composed of a two-level atom and a two-mode cavity field. Effects of Kerr-like medium and the number of photon inside the cavity on the entanglement are studied. Our results show that atomic initial state must be superposed, so that the two cavity field modes can be entangled. Moreover, we also conclude that the number of photon in the two cavity mode should be equal. The interaction between modes, namely, the Kerr effect, has a significant negative contribution. Note that the atom frequency and the cavity frequency have an indistinguishable effect, so a corresponding approximation has been made in this article. These results may be useful for quantum information in optics systems.  相似文献

The entropy squeezing of a V-type three-level atom interacting with a single-mode field and passing through the amplitude damping channel is investigated in detail. Our results show that when coupled to the single-mode field, the atom in appropriate initial states can not only generate obvious entropy squeezing but also keep in the optimal squeezing state, while passing through the amplitude damping channel, the atom can generate entropy squeezing under the control of the weak measurement. Besides, it is proved again that as a measurement method for atomic squeezing, the entropy squeezing is precise and effective. Therefore our work is instructive for experiments in preparing three-level system information resource with ultra-low quantum noise.  相似文献

In this paper, the entanglement dynamics of two two-level atoms trapped in coupled cavities with a Kerr medium is investigated, We find that the phenomena of entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear during the evolution process. The influences of initial atomic states, Kerr medium, and cavity-cavity hopping rate on the atom-atom entanglement are discussed. The results obtained by the numerical method show that the atom- atom entanglement is strengthened and even prevented from ESD with increasing cavity-cavity hopping rate and Kerr nonlinearity.  相似文献

We investigate the geometric phase and dynamic phase of a two-level fermionic system with dispersive interaction, driven by a quantized bosonic field which is simultaneously subjected to parametric amplification. It is found that the geometric phase is induced by a counterpart of the Stark shift. This effect is due to distinct shifts in the field frequency induced by interaction between different states (|e〉 and |g〉 ) and cavity field, and a simple geometric interpretation of this phenomenon is given, which is helpful to understand the natural origin of the geometric phase.  相似文献

The entanglement dynamics of system, where atoms A and B interact with single mode cavity fields a and b respectively, is studied. The interaction between atom A and cavity a may be described by using the typical Jaynes Cummings model, while that between the atom B and cavity b filled with a Kerr medium is of a two-photon process. For a certain initial atom entanglement state, there is an entanglement sudden death effect between the two atoms. The Kerr medium in the cavity b can effectively prevent the undesirable entanglement sudden death from occurring. Also, from the viewpoint of the population dynamics, we discuss why the Kerr medium can do so.  相似文献
