We present a scheme to prepare cluster-type entangled squeezed vacuum states (CTESVS) by considering the two-photon interaction between a two-level atom and a high-quality cavity, driven by a strong classical field. After the realization of simple atomic measurements, the generation of CTESVS in four separate cavities is accomplished within the cavity decay time. In the case of large atom=cavity detuning, the scheme is immune to the effect of atomic spontaneous emission. 相似文献

This paper proposes an alternative scheme for generating four-photon W state via cavity QED. The scheme bases on the resonant interaction of a A-type three level atom with two bimodal cavities. The detection of atom collapses the cavity to the desired state. Comparing with previous schemes, the advantage of this scheme is that the interaction time can be greatly shortened since it uses the resonant interaction between atom and cavities. A scheme for preparation of the two-atoms entangled state via the resonant interaction of a quantized cavity field with atom is presented. It is injected an two-level atom initially prepared in the superposition of the ground state and excited state through the cavity prepared in the vacuum state. The atom passing through the cavity creates atom-field entanglement. The second two-level atom prepared in the ground state is injected into the cavity at different angle. After the interaction with the cavity field, the two-atoms entangled state is produced and the cavity field is still in the vacuun state. Comparing with the existing schemes, ours is easier to realize experimently. 相似文献

By using the theory of cavity QED, we study the system in which a two-level atom interacts with a cavity in the case of large detuning. Through the selective detecting of atomic state, Schrodinger cat states and entangled coherent states are easily generated. When the atom is driven by a weak classical field and the cavity field is in the Schrodinger cat state, we study the conditions of generating the Fock states and the maximal success probability. We present a scheme in which the N-atom W state is teleported byemploying the selective interaction of a cavity field with a driventhree-level atom in the λ configuration and detecting a single atom in one of the ground states. We present a scheme for generation of two-atomic entangled state by using the interference of polarized photons. The scheme does not require complete mapping between the atomic state and the photonic state, nor does it require the establishment of maximal entanglement between the atom and the cavity. And the atom-cavity coupling strength is smaller than the cavity decay rate. This greatly relaxes the requirement on the cavity quality.
